A Nigerian man identified as King Kuti, has spoken on the value inherent in getting married to a woman from the south-eastern part of Nigeria.

According to him, marrying an Igbo woman can make a man’s millions to be multiplied in hundred folds.

King Kuti, who got married to an Igbo Twitter influencer with handle @Iyawothickerbody in 2020, told men looking to settle down, to marry an igbo girl and watch as their N1 million turns to N100 million.

He made the assertion on the premise of the tribe being ‘too’ business oriented.

In his words;

A young Ghanaian couple who have been dating since their university days have shocked many with their story of how they spent their life savings of GHc 70,000 (N4,549,701.52) on their wedding, house rent and naming ceremony.

Speaking with Ghanacelebrities was a man identified as Chris Vincent, who is a cousin of the two lovers.

According to Chris, the couple graduated from university and worked for five years to save up the huge sum of GHc 70,000 (N4,549,701.52).

However, the lady got pregnant when they were dating and their families kept mounting pressure on them to get married and make their union official before the pregnancy becomes obvious.

The lovers had no choice than to dig deep into their pocket and pull out all the money they had to finance the wedding.

“The traditional wedding, the white wedding, and the associated receptions cost the couple about 45,000 GHS; they used 15,000 GHS of their monies to rent a place somewhere in Tema for a year,” Chris Vincent told Ghanacelebrities.

Seven months after the wedding, the couple gave birth and used GHc 10,000 (N650,000) which was what remained after their wedding on the naming ceremony.

Chris further revealed that the couple could have obtained a land in Accra, and started building a two-bedroom on the land with the money.

According to the screenshot of chat that was shared on Twitter, the lady messaged the guy first, noting that she had gone through his profile, loved what she saw and would like to have his number.

The lady saw his refusal as an insult and cussed him out for it.

In the photo, which was clearly taken at the Lekki toll gate, two vehicles are seen in a rather bizarre position as they both tried to pass through a toll gate at the same time.

Judging from the photo, it’s possible that either drivers wasn’t going to pave way for the other to pass through and as such, both caught themselves in a jam.

A Nigerian man on Twitter took to the platform to narrate an “unusual” encounter he had while using the social media app.

According to activist, Sani, he “accidentally” watched a 4 mins porn video that came across his timeline and because of that, he wonders when Twitter developers will ban people from sharing sexual contents.

He wrote,

Accidentally watch a 4 mins porn video that cross my timeline this morning. When will twitter ban people from posting sexual contents on the timeline??

In a follow up tweet, obviously after people had confronted him for his bizarre statement, as he could have stopped watching the porn video and kept scrolling rather than watch the full 4 mins video, Sani revealed that he’d opened the video only realize it was porn and when he tried closing it, his phone hooked.

The police in Abeokuta conducted a raid in a popular hotel in the state capital and discovered tons of tons of hard drugs and money.

A video serving rounds on social media captured the moment police officers were counting the money recovered at the scene.

It is speculated that the money discovered from the raid were made from illicit sale of the drugs.

In other news, 60-year-old fish-farmer, Muyiwa Otuyalo, has been arrested for attempting to smuggle a substance believed to be hard drug for his son, Damilola Otuyalo, who is currently in the custody of the EFCC in its Ibadan zonal office.

According to reports, the senior Otuyalo was at the EFCC office supposedly to visit his son. However, while discussing with the son, an officer noticed that he brought out a sachet of tablets and handed it to his detained son.

The substance was seized and when examined by an in-house nurse, it was discovered to be Rohypnol, a tranquilizer used under strict prescription for treatment of severe insomnia and assist in anesthesia. The drug is said to possess high sedative effect and is rarely used except when prescribed by licensed medical officers.

Popular Nigerian Social media adviser, Reno Omokri, has said it’s impossible for a person to be a feminist and a Christian.
