Good times are here for subscribers of national telecommunications network, Globacom, as the company formally unveils a special 10% bonus airtime on all recharges made via E-Top up.

Popular Nigerian singer and father of three, Davido has taken to social media to share a recent photo of his son, Ifeanyi and this has caused a stir online.

An undergraduate, identified as Miss. Vivian Unigwe, has taken social media by storm as she gifts her parents a new house in their home town in Anambra state.
The 400-level student of Abia state university, who was determined to change the living condition of her family, built the house from foundation level till its completion.
According to her, she told her father when she was in 200-level that she is going to build him a house in Ukpor and her father believed in her dreams because he knew God was in control.
Speaking on how she raised money to finance the building project, the industrious 23 year-old said she has been supporting her clergy father financially from her second year in University.
According to the beautiful lady, she has engaged in numerous businesses including cake baking, student union politics, product distribution, importation, etc.
Whenever a business venture was no longer profitable, she would look for another business opportunity to invest her time and resources in.

When quizzed on why the roof of the house looked old, she said the roof was purchased first and was exposed to rainfall, which made it rust overtime.
She said,
When I started this project! I first sent money to get the roof, which they did and we later realized that the place we kept the roof isn’t good because there isn’t money to roof it at that moment!
Whenever rain fails, it affects the roof and the roof begans to rust.
And we also found out that the quality of the roof inferior. So when I got money to roof the building, I had no other option than to make use of the same roof!
That’s why it’s like this and the roof isn’t this foreign roof that’s in the market now.
The young lady expressed her excitement on the successful completion of the building because now her entire family will have a place to stay and spend festive periods in their village.
She, however, noted that she still has more plans for the house because there are still pending tasks within the house.

A final year student of the Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, Anambra State, was discovered dead few days to her graduation.
The deceased student identified as Clement Ruth was studying political science and was last seen alive on Thursday, November 26th, after writing one of her final exams.
It was leant that Ruth was later found dead days after.
Friends and classmates have since taken to social media to mourn her demise. Ugochinyere Precious, the deceased’s friend who shared her photos on Facebook revealed that Ruth was found dead few days to their graduation.

A Nigerian lady has reportedly turned down a lucrative job in Lagos, because she’s scared of Third Mainland Bridge.
According to a Twitter user, @lollypeezle, who shared the story on the platform, the lady applied for the job thinking she would be given the role in the Mainland office of the firm whose island office is the only one functioning at the moment due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He further revealed that the lady turned down the job, which offers to pay her one hundred and ninety thousand naira monthly, on grounds of her being scared of “plenty water and Third Mainland Bridge.”

Three members of an infamous syndicate that specialized in snatching of cars have been apprehended by police operatives on Wednesday December 2, in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.
The nabbed suspects confessed that they snatch cars in Calabar and sell them in Uyo. According to them, the cars stolen in Uyo are sold in Calabar.
It was revealed that the suspects had so far snatched four cars in Uyo but they ran out of luck on Wedneday, December 2, when they dispossessed a Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Ekefre, of his car at Richway Supermarket.
Narrating his ordeal, Rev. Fr. Ekefre, a younger brother to Ubong Ekefre, a former Transition Committee Chairman in Mkpat Enin, revealed he was at a supermarket to shop with a female relative when one of the robbers approached him and pretended to be drawing his attention to someone behind.
When he turned, the robber dragged his hand behind, pointed a metal object to his head and asked him to hand over the key, while the other suspect approached him pulling out a jackknife.
In reaction, the priest pulled off his hand and flung the car key towards his female relative. The criminals attacked the lady, gave her a cut on the head, snatched the key and drove off with the car. Fortunately, the cut was not deep because of her hair extension.
The robbers took away the car with the priest’s cell phone which was used to track the car to a bush after Ikot Oku Ikono, where the suspects had hidden it while apparently waiting for the dust to settle.

Nigerian music executive, Davido has revealed that his driver is soon to tie the knot and while that is apparently good news, he hit his followers with a rather surprising development too.
According to the singer, he’s going to be the best man at his driver’s wedding. The singer revealed this in a recent tweet on his Twitter page and has had a lot of his fans quite surprised.

Molly Everette Gibson, has been tagged the world’s oldest baby, as she was born using an embryo frozen in October 1992, less than two years after her mother Tina was born in April 1991.
Molly Gibson, otherwise known as miracle baby, broke the previous record held by her sister, Emma Wren, who spent 24 years as an embryo on ice before she was born in November 2017.
Both full genetic embryos were frozen together and transferred to mum Tina’s uterus three years apart.
The Molly’s mum, Tina while speaking to the New York Post described her baby as a miracle, adding that she feels honoured to be a part of the process.
In her words,
“It’s hard to wrap your head around it, but as far as we’re concerned, Molly is our little miracle.”
According to Researchers at the University of Tennessee Preston Medical Library, Molly enters the history books as the longest-frozen embryo known to result in a live birth.
Lab director of the National Embryo Donation Centre Carol Sommerfelt stated that, “It was very rewarding for me to see an embryo that was frozen years ago result in the birth of a lovely baby. I feel honoured to be part of the process.”
Tina and husband Benjamin have been married for 10 years and had previously fostered children before considering traditional adoption.
When they visited the NEDC for the process, the couple were presented with profiles of around 300 strangers who had donated spare embryos after their IVF treatments.
According to Tina they weren’t picky, but just wanted a baby.
On the day of her first embryo transfer with Emma, Tina was amazed to be told it had been frozen for 24 years and also did the same for their second daughter Emma whose embryo was from the same donors.
The Doctor in charge of the process, Sommerfelt said,
”As long as the embryos are maintained correctly in the liquid nitrogen storage tank at -396 degrees, we feel they may be good indefinitely.”
A Nigerian lady has been left speechless after a fashion brand charged her N400,000 for a beautiful dress she wanted to order.
The lady with twitter handle @TheNicoleken took to Twitter to share screenshoots of her WhatsApp chat with the fashion brand.
From the chat, the lady had inquired if the dress was available and how much it would cost and she was given a breakdown of the cost. According to the brand, the fabric costs N100k per yard while the cost of production is N200k.
They noted that they used 1 yard for the model because of her small stature, however she might have to use more quantity of yards depending on her size, which implies that she might pay 100k for an extra yard.

Her tweet attracted other social media users who shared their opinions about the “exorbitant” price of the dress. A lady identified with the handle @AihiRock relayed her own experience with the brand.

Another user shared a screenshot of the fabric which actually costs N290k for 2 and half yards.
A video serving rounds on the internet has captured the moment Davido’s 5-year-old daughter, Imade gave her mum, Sophia a practical advice.
In the now viral video the little girl was heard advising her mother to calm down. It seemed that Sophia had a long day and was stressed as a result, she yelled at someone.
Little Imade told her mum that she hurts her own feelings when she yells, and advised her to take things easy.
In her words,
“You have to be nice. I know you’re already nice but you just have to calm down. Remember the day you always tell me to calm down. That’s why you have to calm down too.”
Sophia then promised her daughter that she will remember to calm down whenever she is stressed so that she does not yell at anyone.

I believe some people borrow money to do these things and when they are in debt, they end up getting arrested, they get beaten up and all that.
So that was my worry really. If he took his mum’s last N500, you should have rebuked him as a brother. Most of my friends are footballers. They all are into gambling but it is a big issue here. People commit suicide because of gambling. It is an addiction. I am not condemning people that are doing it but if you can control it, that is another thing”
On Peter’s dance challenge, he said
”When I saw the video you put out encouraging people as they break bottles on their head and dancing, I asked you if these were your sons, will you encourage them to do that? So this is how our Christmas should be in Nigeria now? Guys breaking bottles on their heads and dancing like crazy. I am just saying my opinion. I don’t think it is right. Maybe once a year you want to go mad, maybe you go to somewhere and do that but not to bring that kind of thinking into Christmas because it is family time, a nice time. A man identified as Mr. Balami has taken to social media to express his excitement after discovering his son was the Pilot flying the airplane he boarded.
The proud father took to Twitter to share his excitement with his followers.
According to him, he didn’t know his biological son was the pilot until he heard his voice when he was announcing landing preparations.
