A funny video circulating the internet shows singer, Davido trying to run away after police threatened to shoot during a protest in Abuja.

on Sunday, October 11, joined protesters in Abuja who were marching to the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters to demand that SARS, the unit known for terrorising and extorting youths, is disbanded.

Davido stormed the city to demand for the release of some protesters who were locked up.

During the movement, the musician led some young Nigerians to beg for the release of 20 arrested protesters.

As he marched alongside the boys, police officers who had been stationed at a distance with their security truck made a strange move, and Davido almost ran away from the scene.

He however stopped midway on realizing that he was safe.

Afterwards, he went down on his knees, raised his hands and pleaded with the police to and protesters who were demonstrating peacefully.

Fan drags actor, Sunkanmi Omobolanle for celebrating Hushpuppi on his birthday

Moments ago, popular Nollywood actor, Sunkanmi Omobolanle shared photos of alleged internet fraudster, Hushpuppi on his Instagram page to celebrate him on his birthday.

Sharing photos of the Instagram socialite, Sunkanmi wrote,

“I pray ya Allah today to give you long life and be with you all the days of your life Rahmon ????? happy birthday HUSH ???? @hushpuppi”

However many fans considered the post offensive, as they took to the comment section to criticize the actor for celebrating the big boy, despite being an alleged internet fraudster.

An Instagram user, identified as Omoayinde wrote,

“Someone that’s ruined the lives of millions of innocent souls both home and abroad, and who’s finally being caught up with by the long arm of the law, is the person you’re publicly showing affection for. You should have some shame, at least.”

Meanwhile while many criticized the actor, others commended him for being one of the very few celebrities that remembered the socialite despite his predicament.

Recall that, new evidence was recently submitted against the embattled Nigerian socialite, in California.

The new evidence that was submitted against the embattled Big Boy, who was apprehended months ago in Dubai and extradited to the United States for allegedly being part of a network that swindled “hundreds of millions of dollars” from business email compromise frauds and other scams, shows that he used his personal email to register on a website “whizzlog” which is a market place for buying US bank logs and money laundering.

It was also alleged that his email address contained registration confirmation from Whizzlog and numerous confirmation and receipts of bank logs he purchased.

Popular American singer, Trey Songz has slammed Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari over his #EndSARS statement.

Oluwo of Iwo’s security vehicle stolen in Lagos hotel

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has confirmed reports that his Toyota Hilux, security vehicle has been stolen in a hotel in Lagos.

It was reported that the Hilux security vehicle of the monarch, was stolen between the night of Saturday and Sunday morning at the hotel where his security aides stayed during his visit to Lagos.

Speaking to Daily Trust the Osun monarch stated that the security vehicle which is a white Hilux has “Oba Adewale Akanbi” engraved on its mirrors, windshield and engine.

“It is true, we have reported to security agents. My Hilux car was stolen overnight (11/10/2020) at Toilam Royal Hotel and suites at Igbosere Road L/Island, Lagos State.

Bride in tears as woman disrupts her wedding with her children, claims the groom is her husband

A wedding was brought into an abrupt end in Zambia over the weekend, after a woman stormed the venue with her children and claimed the groom is her husband and father of her kids.

In the now viral video the woman who was seen backing a small baby, insisted that the priest should hold on with joining of the couple has she claimed the husband is hers.

According to her, they didn’t divorce, and there was no issue between them. Adding that he left for his secret wedding from their home that morning and she had no idea he was remarrying.

Despite several efforts to hold her back, she finds her way to the altar and starts stating reasons why the wedding cannot hold. She noted that she spent the night with the groom on their matrimonial bed the night before.

It was learnt that the groom has been identified as Abraham Muyunda, who works for Zambia Revenue Authority at the Head Office and has been married to Caroline Mubita for years.

Abraham apparently told his wife he was going out of town for work when he left home for his secret wedding that morning.

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has called on Nigerian employers of labour to give their employees a day off from work to enable them join the ongoing #SarsMustEnd protest.

Mr. Reno made this call today, October 12, via his official page on micro blogging platform, Twitter.

In a bid to ensure their outcry is truly heard and their impact felt, Nigerian youths are trending the hash tag #SarsMustEnd today.

Sequel to the above, some Nigerians have hit the streets again calling on the federal government and the Nigerian Minister of Police to ensure that this year’s dissolution of SARS is truly effective unlike the previous years.

Moments after the Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed, announced the disbandment of SARS some Nigerian parents have come out, to kick against the decision.

In a viral video on social media, the parents were seen raising their placards, and screaming “we want SARS”

According to the parents the disbandment of the Special Anti Robbery Squad is not a wise decision, adding that it would increase crime rate in the country.

Yesterday, The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, on Sunday afternoon, announced the disbandment of SARS.. But despite this, #EndSARS Protesters as at this morning, 12th of October, blocked the Lekki Toll Gate Section of the Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos State, to resume demonstrations.

The protesters are demanding the release of all arrested protesters.

“I have never been more afraid of losing my life than today. And by who ? The Nigeria Police,” said the reality TV star, who joined many others calling for the end of the controversial arm of the Nigeria Police Force, Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), which has been accused of being a menace to Nigerians.

He continued, “I’m still in shock, we came out to protest in peace and when we stopped and knelt down they began shooting tear-gas canisters at us and advanced continuously towards us with their huge trucks, beating some of us and screaming, “KILL THEM, KILL THEM”!!!”

“I managed to get myself to a friend’s car and when the lead police truck spotted me trying to get in, he rammed into the car intentionally,” he added.

The #ENDSARS campaign has dominated news headlines this past week and it continues to gain momentum.

Nigerian singer, Small Doctor took the #EndSARS campaign to his white garment church today in Lagos to yet again protest against police brutality in the country.

The singer whose real name is Adekunle Temitope had earlier led a massive and peaceful protest over the weekend from Agege to the state house in Alausa.

Today, Sunday 11th October, he was pictured inside his church wearing his white garment while holding a placard with the inscription which read: “Having Phone Gadget Is Not A Crime #EndPoliceBrutality.”

Burna Boy has reacted to the blacklash he got from #EndSARS protesters after his perceived silence with regards to the nationwide movement.

Son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti and also a singer, Femi Kuti has reacted to the ongoing #EndSARS protest in the country.

The musician in tweet said it is shocking that there is no emergency meeting in the senate nor the Presidency despite the massive #EndSARS protest currently happening in many parts of the country.

Reacting on his page, he wrote;

Laycon receives cash gift of N2.5M from MC Oluomo

Big Brother Naija season 5 ‘Lockdown’ winner, Laycon has receive a cash gift from, Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo.

Laycon was welcomed by the leader of the Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Lagos chapter at his Oshodi residence on Thursdays, Oct. 7, 2020, at his residence in Oshodi, Lagos state.

MC Oluomo, took to his Instagram page to share photos from the meeting with the reality TV show winner.

He wrote;

It was a merry moment on Thursdays, Oct. 7, 2020, as Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya hosted the BBN lockdown winner -Laycon- and a team of youths.

The evening was marked with pump, funfair and an array of goodwill message for and from both icons (Laycon and MC Oluomo).

As visitation winded down, Hon. Musa Babatunde Akanni(MAKA) who was the brain behind the evening asked Laycon and other youths present to join him in presenting an award of excellence to the state chairman of transport workers Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) for his outstanding support and contributions towards the development of the youths in Lagos State.

Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has asked Nigerian government to shutdown social media and internet in other to stop #EndSARS campaign.

The controversial Journalist, said she support the government shutting down Twitter, Instagram, Facebook during the “#EndSARS uprising”, the same way China, Togo and Turkey did.

The self acclaimed “International Journalist” said this on Twitter today, October 10.

She tweeted;

“China did it. Turkey did it. Togo did it. I’m an international journalist and I support the government shutting down @Twitter, @Facebook, @Instagram during the #EndSarsNow uprising. Last week I said this country will shout down in a week, the same ppl abusing me. #ShutitAllDown”
