A Niagrian lady has taken to social media to advise men to marry women who can at least afford to pay electricity bill in their absence.
The Nigerian lady identified as Cynthia Anyisia on Facebook gave this advice on the platform today, September 9.
According to her, Nigerian men when thinking of marriage, should lookout for that lady who can afford to “at least” pay electricity bill in their absence, unlike those who would let power supply to be disconnected and wait for the husband to return so they could tell him “honey they have cut our light”.
She wrote in a popular Facebook group, “Marry a woman that can at least pay for Nepa bill. Not the one that will say honey they have cut our light”.
Big Brother housemates engaged themselves in a rap battle last night and during the battle, Dorathy and Vee threw shades at each other.
The brain behind the rap battle night was Kiddwaya. He started the rap battle with Laycon and gradually, other housemates joined them in the dissing game.
The activity was going smoothly until Dorathy used her rap to shade Vee that she doesn’t have edges on her hair. Vee in response body shamed Dorathy.

Vee and Neo ended their relationship for the second time on Saturday night.
She insisted that she is not reconciling with him and asked that they remain friends till they leave the house.
Neo, however, won’t be having that and he begged Vee on Tuesday night to take him back.

Popular On-Air Personality, Daddy Freeze, has taken to his social media page to show off his parents after Pastor Ibiyomie called him a bastard and questioned if he had a father.
Recall Ibiyomie was filmed last Sunday lambasting and threatening Daddy Freeze. In his words… “He is a bastard, he doesn’t have a father because people who have a father don’t insult fathers. Daddy Freeze in response debunked the pastor’s claim that he’s a Somalian, and clarified that his father is Yoruba, a Nigerian while his mum is European.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Ozo has debunked claims that he and Nengi have their bath together, as he clearly stated that it never happened.
Ozo in a conversation with fellow housemate Dorathy last night, stated that claims that he and Nengi bathe together is false.
The pair were discussing his relationship status and intimacy with Nengi, when Dorathy told him of Laycon’s submission that he (Ozo) fails to show intimacy in public when he is with Nengi. According to her, she told him Ozo is not about PDA (Public Display of Affection).
He agreed and said that the most they do together is to hold hands and when they shower together, it’s always a case of someone waiting outside and “gisting” with whoever is in the shower.
Right from the beginning of the show, Ozo and Nengi had been pretty close, with Ozo clearly stating that he wants a relationship with Nengi, though this is something she doesn’t want.
She has given various excuses for not wanting to be in the relationship, and most recently the model had to set boundaries, telling him that they are just friends and should keep it at that.

BBNaija lockdown housemate, Dorathy has advised Ozo to be wary of his friendship with Neo.
In a conversation with Ozo, She stated that he started getting into trouble and getting fined for microphone infringements when he became close with Neo.
Further adding that, Neo talks inaudibly but has never gotten fined unlike Ozo. She advised her friend to be more cautious of the Delta-born housemate and rather focus on his game.
She said,
“Neo speaks in low tones and gets away with it unlike you.
“You started getting in trouble and got fined for microphone infringement when you started getting close to Neo.
“I didn’t want to mention it earlier because I like to mind my business and not get involved with anything that involves others.
“Just be careful of him and focus on your game.”
Dorathy had earlier shared her concerns about Neo as a person. She said she doesn’t like him due to some things Ka3na said about him before exiting the show.

This narrative is believed to be the reason Dorathy has second thoughts about Neo and his loyalties.

Eight passengers and a driver escaped death by the whiskers on Tuesday September 8, after a huge tree branch broke off from its trunk and fell on their vehicle in Calabar, Cross River.
The incident which occurred at the Beebosco junction involved a mini bus that was conveying seven passengers along the Murtala Mohammed Highway.
According to reports from the scene, the driver, Blessing Eyo Nsa is said to have stopped to drop a passenger when the unfortunate incident happened. No passenger is said to have sustained any physical injury while the driver lamented over his damaged vehicle.
The Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Mfon Bassey Mfon, who arrived the scene, confirmed it was “an accident.”
The incident hindered free flow of vehicles but men of Nigeria Police Force arrived on time to prevent traffic jam.

A lady, Ruth Inomina is making Nigeria proud internationally as she was recently commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
Justice O. Derefaka shared the story on LinkedIn calling on well-meaning Nigerians to join hands in congratulating the young lady from Niger-Delta.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tacha Akide recently sent some surprise gifts to Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage as appreciation for an act of kindness she extended towards her.
The singer shared a video on her official Instagram page showing the gifts that Tacha surprised her with.
According to Tiwa, she got the gifts from the reality TV star despite the fact that they had never met before.
In the video, the mother of one seemed to be in a shopping plaza when the gifts arrived and she was spotted holding her chest in shock while checking out the gifts.
The gift box contained T-shirts, makeup kits and two boxes of cakes, with one of them had a design of her latest album Celia.

Police operatives attached to Nnewi Division arrested one 38 years old man, Chukwudi Ndubuisi from Okpunegbu village, Anambra State.
Suspect who claimed to be an evangelist allegedly lured his neighbour’s daughter a twelve years old girl and had unlawful carnal knowledge with her.
Police detectives took the victim to the hospital for medical Examination where penetration and laceration of her hymen was confirmed by the medical doctor.
Meanwhile, the suspect has voluntarily confessed to the crime and case transferred to the State criminal investigation department for discreet investigation as directed by the Commissioner of Police CP John B.Abang, fdc.
The suspect would be charged to court for prosecution as soon as investigation is concluded.

The joyful news of a Nigerian woman who birthed quadruplets after waiting for 24 years for the fruit of the womb, was shared with us by one of our followers on social media.
According to our follower, the lady gave birth through Caesarean section at an Hospital in the Ikpoba Hill area of Benin State.
Our follower, a midwife who operated on her, revealed that it was the woman’s first time being pregnant after being married for 24 years – She then shared a lovely photo of the quadruplets with us.

Nigerian actor and comedian, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu has stated that cooking is a woman’s duty and should be done by them except on few occasions when their husbands decide to show them love.
The actor made this statement in a recent interview with The Punch, where he revealed that he doesn’t know how to cook and can only boil water.
His words ;
“My wife knows all about food and it is her duty to take note of that. She makes sure she gives me the best of what I need to eat. I do not take note on my own (of the nutritional value), but my wife does it for me.
“Cooking is for the women and should be done by them, except on few occasions if you just feel the need to cook, which shows you have regard for your wife. Asides that, cooking is a woman’s duty.
“When a man cooks, it is either because the wife is away from home and he’s alone. So, he has to cook for himself.

The Kardashian-Jenner family have announced that the family’s reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians is set to end after 14 years on air.
The reality show will return for season 19 on Thursday, Sept. 17 followed by one last season (season 20) in 2021.

7- year-old girl identified as Juwairiya Auwal was killed by a suspected female ritualist inside a hut in Jos Museum, Plateau State.
It was learnt that on Saturday, September 5th, Juwairiya Auwal and her elder sister Fatima Auwal, went out as usual to hawk brooms around Tudun OC in Rikkos community, Jos north local government area of the state, when they were confronted by an unknown Fulani woman.
According to the deceased elder sister,Fatima, when she opened her eyes she found the elderly woman slaughtering Jumairiya. She managed to escape to look for help.
In her words,
“I ran looking for help, I met a man reading a newspaper and narrate what happened to him, but before we got back to the hut, the old woman had disappeared. The man rushed to the nearest police station and reported the incident. The police arrived and picked up the corpse of my sister to Plateau State Specialist Hospital.
“The strange thing is that, my sister was slaughtered, but no trace of her blood on the ground or her body”.
This is coming few weeks after a young boy named Faruk Abubakar was slaughtered for ritual purpose by unknown persons in Tudun Fera area of Jos.
Sharing photos of the little girl, one Assiddiq Jibrin Abubakar revealed that Fatima and Jumairiya’s father was killed by the police during a crisis in October 2019, while their mother is unemployed. The family live at Yanshanu Nassarawa Gwom in Jos Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Recall yesterday reports has it that Adefeso filed a “domestic violence” restraining order against the 43-year-old reality star at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles on Tuesday, September 8.
Tamar Braxton is now alleging that her Nigerian boyfriend was the aggressor in a recent domestic violence incident claiming he assaulted her and threatened to kill her in a ‘murder-suicide.’
According to The Blast, the estranged couple got into a heated altercation while driving to check Tamar into a mental health facility for treatment. While on their way, Tamar questioned her man about a recent Instagram video he shared featuring her 7-year-old son, Logan Herbert.
The video shows Adefeso making his way to the beach with his mom and Tamar’s 7-year-old son.
He wrote in his caption: ‘A day at the beach. Sometimes mom needs a day off to herself to do whatever moms do whenever they have a day off to themselves! So me, Beans and Bonus Grandma aka Sonic-Mom hit Zuma Beach to have some fun.’
While she was questioning David about the post, the couple allegedly began to argue before Tamar told him he was “around for the wrong reasons and could not be trusted.”
The ‘Braxton Family Values’ star says David became “irate, threatening not only her life but his own.” She claims he said, they were going to end up in a “murder-suicide.”
Sources close to Tamar told the site that the argument turned violent and David allegedly “grabbed her hard” on the arms and caused bruising. During the scuffle, Braxton claims she only grabbed onto him after he got physical.
A football player in Osun State simply identified as Damilola, has died after he reportedly slumped during a football match in the Ido area of the state on Monday, September 7.
Late Damilola who plays for Premier Football Club Ofatedo, was about to pass a free-kick to his teammate during the match when he slumped.
Eyewitnesses say he was rushed to a hospital closeby but was rejected and then he was rushed to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology where he was certified dead.
His team members say he never showed any signs of illness before the match.
The Coordinator of the Osun Grassroots Football Coaches Association, Leke Hamzat, confirmed his demise to newsmen.
In other news, Popular veteran Nollywood actor, Babalegba is dead.
His demise was announced on Facebook by Baba Sala’s son, Adejumo Boisala Emmanuel.
The aged actor who has been sick for a while, finally gave up the ghost in the early hours of today, 7th of September at his abode in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

“Alhaji Yekini Omobolanle popularly known as Babalegba died in the early hours of today (midnight precisely)… He joined Alawada Theatre Group in 1974 and was playing comic roles along with Baba Sala, sometimes he played Babalawo, Police officer but most time one comic role to another. He is a friend of the family and supporter of my Daddy till his death. He used to be called Sunday Omobolanle then before he went to Mecca and he turned muslim.. Personally, he contributed a lot to my success too.”
