Popular Nigerian Instagram comedian, Samuel Perry, known professionally as ‘Broda Shaggi’ has taken to his social media page to react after a twitter user opined that his comedy skits weren’t funny.
Recall some days back, a twitter user said the comedian’s skits are not funny and are too long and unnecessary.
The Twitter user identified as Irunnia went on to suggest he should consider acting full time, adding tha the comedian will be better as a full time actor than a comedian.
Broda Shaggi has now offered a response and he jovially claimed he became depressed because of the tweet.

A woman has narrated how refusing the advances of a man led to an altercation that landed her in trouble with the law as police intervened and allegedly took his side.
@naebili said a man in a car offered her a lift but she declined and crossed to the other side of the road to take a bike.
While on the bike, the man’s car overtook the bike and suddenly stopped in front of the bike blocking their way. This move almost caused an accident as the bike man nearly crashed into the car.
She claimed the man then accosted her and said: “How can I be talking to you and you’ll just walk away like that? That’s not how they do things nah. You girls won’t know who you’re talking to, you’ll just be behaving anyhow.”
She said she tried to cross over to the other side of the road but the man grabbed the belt loop of her jean trousers, pulled her back, and slapped her.
In anger, she picked up bricks and threw at the man’s car.
She said the police arrived at this point and took the man’s side. They took them both to the station, demonised her, then asked her to pay for the man’s broken window.
Fortunately for her, she made a call to a friend and the friend called a senior police officer who came to her rescue.
She concluded the thread, writing: “I’m tired of living in Nigeria, I’m tired of being a target, I’m tired of being abused /assaulted, I’m tired of men. I just want all of these things to end. I just want to experience a crumb of freedom. I JUST WANT TO EXIST AS A PERSON AND NOT A MOTHER F**KING PREY.”
After she shared her thread, Twitter users showed her support and some made calls to her.
She later gave an update that a man took up the alleged assault case and her abuser is sleeping in the cell tonight.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan zonal office, have arrested two pairs of brothers: Ayoola Timilehin, Olusola Timilehin, and Oladayo Fayemi, Tolulope Fayemi and three others suspected to be internet fraudsters.
The other three suspects arrested with them are Temitope Kumuyi, Babatunde Oyelakin, and Olanrewaju Ibrahim. They are all between the 20 and 30.
They were arrested at their hideout on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Alaka, Elebu area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The suspects were arrested based on intelligence linking them with opulence without any identifiable means of livelihood. Items recovered from them, include: four cars, laptops, exotic phones, and a stamp bearing the identity of the bursary section of Queensland University’s School of Medicine, Australia.
They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

Many communities have been affected after Margai bridge which links Kebbe Local Government Area with other parts of Sokoto State, collapsed due to severe flooding.
It was learnt that a part of the bridge, which was built during the tenure of Governor Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, was washed away by the ravaging flood on Tuesday, September 8.
The only alternative route for the inhabitants of the area was that linking them with Jega Local Government Area of Kebbi State, which is over 100 kilometres from Sokoto metropolis, Daily Trust reports.
Malam Anas Dukura, who hailed from Kebbe, expressed fear that scores of students might miss the ongoing WAEC, unless something urgent is done.
He said,
“Our people must reach Jega, through a rough route, and then go to Aliero, another local government area in Kebbi State, before coming back to Tambuwal,” he said.

This is coming few months after a man was swept away by heavy flood in Abuja.
A video that went viral on social media captured the moment he was swept away and in the tragic video, the man was seen wading through the flood that extended above his waist. He seemingly missed his step and then struggled to regain balance, but the current was too heavy and he was swept away in seconds while screaming for help.

A Thai teenager, identified as Siraphop Masukarat, has been hospitalized after a python bit the tip of his penis as he sat on the toilet seat.
The 18 year old went to the loo on Tuesday evening, when he felt an intense pain on his manhood. As he looked down, he saw that the snake had bitten the tip of his penis, with blood spurted on the toilet bowl.
This unfortunate incident took place in Nonthaburi, central Thailand, around 13 miles north of Bangkok.
Siraphop ran out of the toilet with his pants halfway down. On sighting him, his mother called paramedics who rushed him to the nearby Bang Yai Hospital to have his wounded penis treated.
Doctors stitched the tip of the penis and treated the bite wound with antibiotic wash, to kill any bacteria from the python’s fangs.
Narrating his horrific experience, Siraphop said:“I was using the toilet but a few moments after I sat down, I suddenly felt pain in my penis. I looked down and saw there was a snake hanging in the toilet. Then there was blood everywhere.
“It was only a small snake but its bite was so strong. I hope that my penis can recover.”
According to reports, animals arrived at the scene and found the python still coiled up in the toilet bowl. They used their equipment to snare the snake and put it into a sack before releasing it back into woodland.
The mother of the victim, Sutapath Masukarat, who was still terrified expressed her shock and wondered how the snake got into the house.
She said: “I don’t know how the snake got into my house. It could have been through the drain connected to the toilet.
“I know the snake really hurt my son but I’m relieved it was only a non-venomous python. If it was a cobra, he would be dead.
“He will be scared every time he goes to toilet. But he’s recovering well at the hospital and I’m thankful to the rescue volunteers for catching the snake.”

A man in a video circulating social media could be seen demonstrating traits of insanity after reportedly alighting from his brand new Benz.
The incident happened in Anambra state.
In the clip, the unidentified young man could be seen acting really strange as eye witnesses gathered and sympathized with him over the unexplained situation.
According to reports, he allegedly came down from his 4matic Benz and started roaming about the street like a mentally unstable person.
Efforts were made by bystanders to get an answer from him regarding what led to his current state but he kept on mumbling in unintelligible manner.
A popular US-based Ghanaian pastor identified as Sylvester Ofori has been arrested after he shot his wife Barbara Tommey.
The incident took place outside the 27-year-old woman’s workplace at the Navy Federal Credit Union, near the Mall at Millenia in Orlando, on Tuesday 8th September 2020.
Barbara was shot by Sylvester, near the business’ front doors on the 4600 block of Gardens Park Boulevard just before 9 a.m., an Orlando Police Department spokesperson said.
Tommey was pronounced dead at Orlando Regional Medical Center shortly after she was rushed there for medical attention.
The 35-year-old pastor was taken into custody at his apartment Tuesday evening, the OPD spokesperson said. He is being held at the Orange County Jail without bond on a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm.
During a press conference Tuesday morning, Chief Orlando Rolón said the shooting was captured on CCTV.
“You can tell that she was surprised by what was happening,” he said.
The Navy Federal Credit Union released a statement on the shooting.
The statement reads,
“This morning, a team member was fatally injured during an act of violence outside our Millenia branch, by a man she knew, according to the police.
“Our thoughts are with our team member’s family. Our number one priority is keeping both our members and team members safe. We will ensure all team members at the branch are provided with the support they need during this time. Any further information can be provided by the Orlando Police Department.
Pastor Sylvester has reportedly been abusing his wife for a long time. Due to the abuse, Barbara was persuaded by her family to leave him. But Sylvester tracked her to her workplace yesterday and shot her 7 times.
A woman named Lisa, who witnessed the shooting, said, “I’m shaken up right now, I’m still shaken up.”
She said she saw Barbara come outside to move her car before she was shot.

A Nigerian man, Dr Olufemi Lalude who was the first Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO) was the man of integrity that rejected $6 Million bribe.

The legal officer of V Bank issued the notice of termination letter to Cubana Chief Priest on September 7, 2020.

Popular Nigerian artiste, Lil Kesh has sent a message to his loyal fans who have been asking his whereabouts as he has been off the music scene for quite a while.
According to he 25-year-old, he has been busy trying to recreate his body mind and soul in order to give his fans quality music.

Keshinro Ololade known professionally as Lil Kesh, is a Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter. He rose to fame after releasing the hit single “Shoki”. Lil Kesh was born and raised in Bariga, a suburb of Lagos State. His career in music began in 2012 when he rapped among his colleagues in Bariga.
Popular On-Air Personality, Daddy Freeze, has taken to his social media page to show off his parents after Pastor Ibiyomie called him a bastard and questioned if he had a father.
Recall Ibiyomie was filmed last Sunday lambasting and threatening Daddy Freeze. In his words… “He is a bastard, he doesn’t have a father because people who have a father don’t insult fathers. He’s a half-caste from Somalia. Does he look like a Nigerian?, if he has a father, let him show us his picture. If you dare insult my father again, I will kill you… Tell him oh”.
Daddy Freeze in response debunked the pastor’s claim that he’s a Somalian, and clarified that his father is Yoruba, a Nigerian while his mum is European.
He also called on the Nigeria Police and the general public to hold Pastor Ibiyomie responsible should anything happen to him because to him, the pastor’s message to his is a threat to his life.
The ‘broadcaster’ has now shared photos and a video of him and his parents and it is quite adorable.
Big Brother Naija housemate, Ozo has debunked claims that he and Nengi have their bath together, as he clearly stated that it never happened.
Ozo in a conversation with fellow housemate Dorathy last night, stated that claims that he and Nengi bathe together is false.
The pair were discussing his relationship status and intimacy with Nengi, when Dorathy told him of Laycon’s submission that he (Ozo) fails to show intimacy in public when he is with Nengi. According to her, she told him Ozo is not about PDA (Public Display of Affection).
He agreed and said that the most they do together is to hold hands and when they shower together, it’s always a case of someone waiting outside and “gisting” with whoever is in the shower.
Right from the beginning of the show, Ozo and Nengi had been pretty close, with Ozo clearly stating that he wants a relationship with Nengi, though this is something she doesn’t want.
She has given various excuses for not wanting to be in the relationship, and most recently the model had to set boundaries, telling him that they are just friends and should keep it at that.

BBNaija lockdown housemate, Dorathy has advised Ozo to be wary of his friendship with Neo.
In a conversation with Ozo, She stated that he started getting into trouble and getting fined for microphone infringements when he became close with Neo.
Further adding that, Neo talks inaudibly but has never gotten fined unlike Ozo. She advised her friend to be more cautious of the Delta-born housemate and rather focus on his game.
She said,
“Neo speaks in low tones and gets away with it unlike you.
“You started getting in trouble and got fined for microphone infringement when you started getting close to Neo.
“I didn’t want to mention it earlier because I like to mind my business and not get involved with anything that involves others.
“Just be careful of him and focus on your game.”
Dorathy had earlier shared her concerns about Neo as a person. She said she doesn’t like him due to some things Ka3na said about him before exiting the show.
Rumour has it that Neo told Ka3na he is in the house to show himself to sugar mummies on tv and that he is just using Vee for cover but will dump her when the show is over.
This narrative is believed to be the reason Dorathy has second thoughts about Neo and his loyalties.
