New details surrounding Tamar Braxton and her Nigerian boyfriend, David Adefeso’s troubled relationship have been revealed.

Recall yesterday reports has it that Adefeso filed a “domestic violence” restraining order against the 43-year-old reality star at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles on Tuesday, September 8.

Tamar Braxton is now alleging that her Nigerian boyfriend was the aggressor in a recent domestic violence incident claiming he assaulted her and threatened to kill her in a ‘murder-suicide.’

According to The Blast, the estranged couple got into a heated altercation while driving to check Tamar into a mental health facility for treatment. While on their way, Tamar questioned her man about a recent Instagram video he shared featuring her 7-year-old son, Logan Herbert.

The video shows Adefeso making his way to the beach with his mom and Tamar’s 7-year-old son.

He wrote in his caption: ‘A day at the beach. Sometimes mom needs a day off to herself to do whatever moms do whenever they have a day off to themselves! So me, Beans and Bonus Grandma aka Sonic-Mom hit Zuma Beach to have some fun.’

While she was questioning David about the post, the couple allegedly began to argue before Tamar told him he was “around for the wrong reasons and could not be trusted.”

The ‘Braxton Family Values’ star says David became “irate, threatening not only her life but his own.” She claims he said, they were going to end up in a “murder-suicide.”

Sources close to Tamar told the site that the argument turned violent and David allegedly “grabbed her hard” on the arms and caused bruising. During the scuffle, Braxton claims she only grabbed onto him after he got physical.

Footballer slumps and dies during match in Osun (photo)

A football player in Osun State simply identified as Damilola, has died after he reportedly slumped during a football match in the Ido area of the state on Monday, September 7.

Late Damilola who plays for Premier Football Club Ofatedo, was about to pass a free-kick to his teammate during the match when he slumped.

Eyewitnesses say he was rushed to a hospital closeby but was rejected and then he was rushed to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology where he was certified dead.

His team members say he never showed any signs of illness before the match.

The Coordinator of the Osun Grassroots Football Coaches Association, Leke Hamzat, confirmed his demise to newsmen.

In other news, Popular veteran Nollywood actor, Babalegba is dead.

His demise was announced on Facebook by Baba Sala’s son, Adejumo Boisala Emmanuel.

The aged actor who has been sick for a while, finally gave up the ghost in the early hours of today, 7th of September at his abode in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Adejumo wrote:

“Alhaji Yekini Omobolanle popularly known as Babalegba died in the early hours of today (midnight precisely)… He joined Alawada Theatre Group in 1974 and was playing comic roles along with Baba Sala, sometimes he played Babalawo, Police officer but most time one comic role to another. Reality TV Star, Uti Nwachukwu has apologized to Tacha, over the mean comments he made to her after she was disqualified from the show.

The Former Big Brother Africa winner, in a lengthy post he shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday night, September 8, Uti said he has realized his mistakes and is now offering his apologies.

Nigerian music icon, David Adeleka, known better as Davido on Monday, September 7, paid a courtesy visit to the Oniru of Iruland, Oba AbdulWasiu Gbolahan Lawal.

In photos that were shared online by Oba Lawal, the singer is seen prostrating face down in line to greet the traditional ruler and his wife, Mariam in respect for the traditional culture of the Yoruba people.

The Oba noted that he was pleased to host Davido, describing him as a talented and sensational young man.

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor EA Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, celebrate their 53rd wedding anniversary today, September 8th.

Adeboye was 25-years-old when he married his wife Folu, who was 19 at the time.

The couple is blessed with four children and many grand children.

All four of the Adeboye children are all successfully established in their individual spheres of life and are also pastors under the Redeemed Christian Church of God under different capacities.

Lady dies after she was allegedly stabbed by unknown phone thieves in a Keke Napep

Friends and family of a young Nigerian girl identified as Wunato Esther Chuwang, has been thrown into mourning after she was allegedly stabbed and killed by unknown phone thieves in Jos.

According to reports, Wunato Esther Chuwang recently gained admission to study computer Science at the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi.

She was attacked and killed on her way to a religious activity on Friday night by some unidentified men who tried to rob her off her phone around Tina Junction, Angwan Rukuba, Jos.

Esther had celebrated her birthday on August 28 before the unfortunate incident met her exactly a week later.

Esther who was reportedly in company of her boyfriend,fell off the Keke Napep and died on the spot after being stabbed by the unknown thieves.

In other post, armed robbers recently invaded the home of late Moshood Abiola MKO, in Ikeja, Lagos state.

The Nation reported that the robbers carted away with valuables, including money in different currencies.

Some of the robbers linked to the attack have been arrested and handed over to the Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.

Not every disqualified housemate turns out successful like Tacha – Man

A Nigerian man on has said that not every disqualified housemate from Big Brother Naija, BBNaija reality show turns out successful like Tacha.

According to the man identified as Danny Walter on Twitter, stated that, Tacha became the standard and a ray of hope because she became successful against all odds.

Backing his opinion, he mentioned the likes of Khloe and Kbrule who were disqualified from the show but are not as successful as Tacha.

“Not every disqualified housemate turns out successful like Tacha. Khloe and Kbrule were disqualified. No one uses them as yardstick. The only reason Tacha is used as a ray of hope for Erica fans is because Tacha became successful against all odds. Tacha is the standard”.

Below is the list of the five housemates who have been disqualified by Biggie.

Kemen: I’d start this list with Kemen who was disqualified from the show after a video surfaced where he was seen sexually harassing TBoss, while she was asleep.
K.Brule: He was an interesting housemate in the third season of the show, but his strategic pairing with Khloe proved an undoing – for both parties. K.Brule got a second strike following Khloe’s use of “strong abusive curse words”. Well, he eventually got himself disqualified after receiving a third strike for using “strong threatening words and attempting to physically harm a fellow housemate”.
Khloe: Okay, since K.Brule made the list, she obviously comes next. Like we said earlier, the pair both got strikes each to get themselves eventually disqualified from the show.
Erica: A newcomer on this list, Erica was disqualified following her verbal abuse on Laycon after yesterday Biggie organization decided to disqualify her for breaking the house rule.
Tacha: Queen of drama? Queen of highlights? Depends on which camp you belong. Natasha Akide stay in the house was highly controversial, and can be said as one of the most popular housemates ever. Evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Tolanibaj, who grew up in America, has spoken on why she decided to relocate to Nigeria.

TolaniBaj exited the popular reality show and she speaks with Legit.ng on her time in the house among other things.

In the interview Tbaj answered a question that had been on the minds of a lot of people which is about why she decided to leave America and come back to Nigeria.

According to the young lady, she felt that Nigeria was the perfect place for her to become a boss and that she knew she would be great in the country.

Tolani said that she had always dreamt about becoming a boss and that she did not see herself building anything in America from start to finish.

In her words: “I moved back to Nigeria because I want to be a boss, I’ve always dreamt about being a boss. I did not see myself building anything in America from start to finish. It was only Nigeria that I believe that if I want to have a house, I can build it myself, if I want to build a brand, its Nigeria that I can start from scratch and be somebody and I just always knew that it was Nigeria that I would become great. I got connected to people quickly, people ready to work with me, people ready to build something with me. So I’m just like I can come here, leverage on it and become someone successful so I took the chance, took the risk and here I am today.”

Also in the interview, Tolani spoke on her relationship with Prince. She revealed her love for chocolaty men and added that Prince was someone she could have a conversation with about many interesting things.

Tolani also said that she does not blame her eviction on her team because they kept her in the house till week six.

She also said that she did not really have a strategy in the house except to be herself and to sell her brand.

Uniben student allegedly strangled to death inside a hotel by suspected ritualist

An undergraduate of University of Benin, Chinenye Promise Nwoye has died after she was allegedly strangled by a suspected ritualist in a hotel room at Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area, Anambra state.

According to Anambra Broadcasting Service Radio, the young lady is believed to be a victim of scammers or kidnappers who lured her into the hotel for ritual purposes on August 27, 2020.

On the day she was killed, she was allegedly lured to the hotel by her killers. While she was there, she made a phone call to her family members to inform them that she was in danger and needed her ATM pin number to free herself from “kidnappers”.

Her mother, Mrs. Chinyere Nwoye and a member of her family fellowship, Brother Jude Okoye, narrated how they rushed to the hotel shortly after the deceased called them but it was too late.

The bereaved mother recounting the incident said,

“I had immediately dressed up and left for the said hotel with a family fellowship member. On arrival, we met some boys outside the hotel. When I asked the receptionist about my daughter’s whereabouts, they started checking for the booked rooms and overheard her telling one boy to give her the keys to room 57 and 58 and on refusal, the attendant sought for a spare key with which she opened the room and screamed out loud to everyone’s hearing ‘These people have killed somebody ooo.

“I now ran upstairs and was shocked to see my daughter naked, lying face down with her hands and legs tied with her own clothes. From the clothes and the sandals, I knew it was my daughter. When the fellowship member with me started raising alarm, they now called the Police from Abagana Police Divison who came and took the body away.

She further noted that, police officers from Abagana Divisional Police Station took the corpse to Bekee Hospital Mortuary Nimo, Njikoka Local Government Area.

Mrs. Chinyere Nwoye and Jude Okoye accused the hotel management of complicity in Chinenye Nwoye’s painful death through their actions and/or inactions. They called on government and human rights groups to unveil the killers.

In her words,

“I did not waste any time in getting there, so there was no reason to kill my daughter. That hotel is a ritual place, and all of them know what happened to my daughter. It was even surprising that none of our kinsmen wanted to hear anything from me even when I went to tell them my story. That is why I am calling on government and human rights group to look into this matter and bring the killers of my daughter to book. This is a promising young girl that her life has just been terminated.”

A Nigerian couple, identified as Olawumi Adewale and Tobi, who started dating after the man sent a creative and unconventional email in an attempt to woo the lady, have gotten married.

Tobi met Olawumi and had a special liking for her, so he decided to ask her out via email. He sent an application letter to be her “Best Paddy” via email and highlighted his best qualities. He requested for a response before he would also highlight the qualities which attracted him to her.

The lady found his email funny and accepted to continue the conversation.

Apparently, the little seed that was sown via the email has blossomed, as the duo have taken it to the altar and exchanged wedding vows.

However, Juliet recently took to her social media page to air her displeasure about being called a half-caste.

The actress told a story of how someone she had a conversation with insisted she isn’t “black enough” to be called a black woman because of her skin colour.

The beautiful film star revealed people see her and her siblings as half-caste, a term she insists she finds offensive.

Her post reads,

“I had a random conversation the other day with someone and it was appalling when he mentioned passively to me that he doesn’t see me as a #Blackwoman ! He argued, you are not “black enough” your skin isn’t dark enough, your hair not kinky enough. And thus my siblings and I do not “count” as Black.

Now this is Exactly, what we are fighting to correct amongst ourselves and the world at large. I am a black woman! When I’m abroad amongst the whites, I am classified and recognized as a black woman, however, right amongst us Africans I’ll be referred to as a Half-Caste! This is the most derogatory term to describe a person of mixed race or mixed ethnicity.

We are referred to as mixed race or multi-racial! Mixed race people are no less black than their dark-skinned counterparts. So, let’s all say NO to RACISM, TRIBALISM, COLORISM and SEGREGATION. Let’s teach and train our children to grow up and accept people for who they are and not by the color of their skin.”

According to her the Big Brother Naija reality TV show is a waste of time.

In a video which she shared on social media, she said,

Taking to her Instagram account, She shared the picture of her daughter, Onyinye and wrote a beautiful message for her. She also beckoned on fans and followers to join her in celebrating her daughter.
