Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has taken to her Instagram page to recount how the birth of her daughter 12 years ago, changed her life completely.

The excited mum shared beautiful photos of her daughter, Simi to celebrate her 12th birthday.

Sharing photos of Simi, the celebrant, Laide Bakare disclosed how her life changed for better after she welcomed her 12 years ago.

She wrote,

“How I jumped into conclusion 12 years ago And TODAY I’m one of the happiest babe ever …moral of the lesson sometimes you just have to follow your heart, because all I wanted then was just to have a BABY Period….

“NOW everything I have achieved in my life commenced just after she came into my life.

Pregnant girlfriend allegedly stabs boyfriend to death after he requested an abortion

A 25-year old pregnant lady, identified as Oyinye Chime, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death in Anambra because he told her to abort the pregnancy.

The police in Anambra state have arrested Chime, for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend, Eleyi Azubuike, to death at his home in Ochiagha street in Nkpor, an area in the state on Wednesday, September 2.

The spokesperson of the state police command, Muhammed Haruna, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the police received a report of the alleged murder and immediately visited the scene on Wednesday.

According to report the deceased allegedly impregnated the suspect and wanted an abortion which she declined and demanded some money for her upkeep.

The deceased boyfriend refused to give her the money for her upkeep, and this eventually led to an heated argument between the couple.

The fight resulted in the boyfriend being stabbed to death.

According to Haruna, police detectives attached to Ogidi Division led by the DPO CSP Ekuri Remigius visited the scene and rushed the victim who was found in a pool of his blood to Iyi Enu Mission hospital Ogidi, for medical attention, where he was certified dead by the medical doctor on arrival.

He said a careful observation on the deceased body revealed a stab wound on his chest while a blood-stained Kitchen knife was also recovered at the scene as Exhibit.

The spokesperson stated that the case is under investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Billionaire son and BBNaija housemate, Kiddwaya has revealed that billionaire daughter, DJ Cuppy is one of the 3 women he is comfortable with and has equally shown his emotional side to.

Kiddwaya had earlier told Erica that he had no serious plans to continue with their relationship outside the house.

Patience in the post stated that she is blessed to have all her children and grand children around her.

A teenage boy identified as Sadiku Umar, has been rescued after he was locked up in a cage for two years by his father, Salisu Umar, in Daura, Katsina state.

According to neighbors, Umar locked up his 16-year-old son who is physically challenged in the cage since he was 14, and fed him like a ”dog.”

An SCI agent in Daura, Aminu Gambo said

“the man told the police that he decided to put the boy in a cage because there was no longer space for him in the two-room apartment housing the entire family of 15 including his 12 other children.

He was detained at the police station in Daura for a day and then moved to the police headquarters in Katsina and later released on the condition that he would no longer subject the boy to such inhuman treatment.”

Drama as disciplinarian invited by a father to help discipline his 19-year- old son, stabs the son to death

Spare the rod and the spoil the child, however, discipline went wrong in Lagos when a man identified as Felix Ezike stabbed the Son of one Dada Animashaun, who invited him to help discipline his son.

The Lagos state police command has arrested Felix Ezike, for allegedly stabbing a 19-year-old boy, Deji Animashaun, to death in the Egbe area of Ikotun, Lagos State on August 28.

According to police report, Deji’s father, Dada Animashaun, had invited Felix to his house to help him discipline his son who was allegedly caught stealing and has refused to change his ways.

It was reported that Deji put up resistance when Felix tried to discipline him. Felix got angry and brought out a jack-knife which he allegedly used to stab the teenager on the head and his body.

Deji’s father immediately rushed him to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana, said,

“On August 28, 2020, around 4.30pm, one Dada Animashaun, of Rasheed Bello Street, Egbe, Ikotun, allegedly invited one Felix Ezike, 27, to his house to discipline his son, Deji Animashaun, 19, for stealing and becoming a defiant.

“In the process, the son resisted the punishment and was stabbed with a jack knife in the head and body by the said Felix Ezike.

“Consequently, the boy collapsed and was taken to hospital for treatment, where he later died. Our detectives have visited the scene of the incident and the corpse was evacuated to the IDH Morgue in Yaba for autopsy”. He said

Bala noted that the father of the deceased boy as well as Felix has been arrested. He said a detailed investigation into the matter is ongoing.

A 24-year-old Nigerian lady identified as Omolara Akintayo has said she regrets travelling to Libya in search of greener pastures.

In a video interview with Legit TV, the young lady said she travel led to Libya in search of greener pastures because her parents were languishing in poverty.

Omolara narrated the ordeal she went through on her way to Libya, saying she spent 14 days to get to the North African country.

According to her, while they were in the desert, some people lost their lives and others were forced to drink water mixed with faeces as there was no clean water and food. Omolara said two of her friends were raped in the desert during their trip to Libya.

She said: “Many things happened on our way. If I had heard about them before leaving Nigeria, I wouldn’t have traveled to Libya.”

The young lady said the same person she paid N600,000 abandoned her in an Arab man’s house and she was not allowed to go out for a year.

She said:

“This person was collecting my salary every month while I was doing all the work. I couldn’t eat there because I could not eat their food there.

“Sometimes I would sleep by 2am or 3am because we had to wash plate in the Arab’s house. Sometimes we would wash their faeces, dress the elderly ones. There was nothing we did not do. Chores that I couldn’t do for my parents, I did them while I was there.”

The young lady said she blamed herself for travelling to Libya, adding that she was unable to communicate with her parents for two years. She said when she had an issue with her job, she was asked if she would be able to engage in prostitution but she said she couldn’t, adding that she preferred to work as a cleaner.

Omolara said: “I continued as a cleaner in an Arab man’s house. For two years, I was indoors and didn’t know what was happening outdoors, to the extent that I wouldn’t know when my boss came to collect my salary.”

She said she regained her freedom after she finished paying the person that took her to Libya.

BBNaija’s Khloe finally confirms butt surgery; flaunts massive backside in new photo

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Khloe, has finally confirmed that she had a butt implant done after rumours of her working on her body.

A few days ago, the former BBNaija housemate shared a video of her butt which got a lot of inquisitive Nigerians wondering how she achieved that overnight.

Khloe who initially claimed she added some weight by using weight gain syrup and constantly drinking pap, have now taken to her Instagram page to confirm that she had a butt surgery done.

The TV reality star in a recent post on Instagram have stated that she’s plastic.

Taking to her Instagram page Khloe shared a sexy photo of herself with her massive backside on display and then wrote,

“Straight outta ?, Boya ke ni nice night ✌?✌?✌?

“Kidbro with the lens @opher_shots ( sorry I posted the unedited one, since I’m plastc, my pics should be straight out of camroll)???”. She added.

Recall that the ex-BBNaija housemate, was recently exposed by an Instagram blogger who shared a picture of her while she was unconscious on a surgery bed during her butt implant.

According to the blog, Khloe’s new large butt is not as a result of any herbal product but cosmetic surgery.

A photo of Khloe on the surgery bed was posted on Instagram and captioned,

“God no go shame us o,you can’t be deceiving people with some products you didn’t use yourself, stop it, this girl bia,allow your Yansh heal and stop stressing that Yansh o, if Yansh no heal I no fit drag any doctor this time around again. Na una carry una sef go, upon say you do furo(Yansh), the furo still no shake well. Onibaje Omo kekere shey I be your mama mate? I come in peace”, the blog wrote.

A Nigerian couple are currently celebrating adding a new member to their family unit after 18 years of waiting for a child.

A Twitter user, supposedly the first child of the family, took to her page to share photos of her family’s latest arrival as she revealed that her family was blessed with the newest addition after waiting for 18 years.

She wrote alongside the photos,

After 18 YEARS, God blessed my family with a beautiful baby girl. I couldn’t be more ?? God is AMAZING!!!!!

‘You do not need to be sold to be a slave’ – Alibaba says

Veteran Nigerian comedian, Alibaba has taken to his social media page to speak about the problems many Nigerians face.

According to the post he shared on his Instagram page, many Nigerians are slaves even without being sold into slavery but cannot live the captivity because of the situations they find themselves.

He also believed that one day, Nigerians will man up and break free.

Sharing the photo below, he wrote:

You do not need to be sold to be a slave. When certain things are done or said to you or denied you, your whole being will light up with a reality check.

It may be what is done to you, or to someone you know, and your inability to respond as required. Or your incapacity then gets highlighted.

It may be a truth that you know, but can not say because of the consequences and things of value that you may lose in the process of speaking up.

You may also be enslaved, when you take what you would not have taken all things being equal. But your options are limited by reality. Like, a man in military uniform slapping you for no reason but you can not retaliate… because of the uniform.

There is an Urhobo proverb that says the phrase, “I dont want to die”… is why many drink the most bitter and unswallowable medicine.

Another proverb says, na wall wey fall, give goat the right to climb am.

While this can speak to how we, as Nigerians, are now being treated across the world, it can hit home with many.

There is very deep name in Urhobo land, “Emomine”. That name is very deep. Most children who bear it, may not know what history lies under that name. The name means, “Because of these children”, it also can mean, “But for these children”…

Many Nigerians would have stayed back in Nigeria, but they had to leave Nigeria because of the responsibility of giving their children a good life. So they decided to swallow all just to provide a future for their kids.

Ghana, China, South Africa, UK, US, Dubai… we have been humbled by reality check. “Go back home”, “Why are you here?”… but you can’t. Not that you can’t, but what are you coming back to? These are the issues. But there comes a time, when you must man up and break free.

Because, sometimes, the reality check doesn’t hit you that you are enslaved, until you are hit by a situation, an act, a failure, a challenge, etc. then your eyes open wide.

Love does that to you too.

God will make sure we all see and feel no shame! Whether In our land or in foreign lands.

#BBNaija: “I want you more than the money” – Ozo cries out to Nengi (Video)

BBNaija: Lockdown housemate, Ozo has told his love interest, Nengi that he wants her even more than the N85 million grand prize to be given to the winner of this year’s edition of the show.

It’s no news that the 28-year-old consultant has been caught in a love web with the former beauty queen who has referred to him as a “brother” so many times, when he has been wanting to be something more than just that with her.

Ozo however lamented that it seems the 23-year-old Bayelsa born housemate does not realize how much he feels about her. According to Ozo, he said he would do anything to win Nengi’s heart.

Ozo has constantly pursued Nengi since the beginning of the show but as it turns out, it’s now becoming more frustrating for him and so he decided to cry out to Nengi.

It should be recalled that Nengi had consistently stated that she wasn’t in the house for any sort of romantic relationship, adding that she already has a relationship outside the house.

Speaking during a private conversation today, September 2, Ozo said to Nengi,

“I want you more than anything. I don’t know if I’m to fly, jump or swim. No, I’m serious. I know I need this money but I’ve never felt this way in my life…”
