She and her husband Ahmad Subeih, 34, a businessman in Beirut, later spoke with Reuters about the terrifying ordeal.
“I have been preparing for my big day for two weeks and I was so happy like all other girls, ‘I am getting married’. My parents are going to be happy seeing me in a white dress, I will be looking like a princess,” she told Reuters.
“What happened during the explosion here — there is no word to explain … I was shocked, I was wondering what happened, am I going to die? How am I going to die?“
“We started to walk around and it was extremely sad, it was not describable the devastation and the sound of the explosion,” Subeih said. “We are still in shock … I have never heard anything similar to the sound of this explosion.”
“I feel so sad about what happened to other people, about what happened to Lebanon,” added Seblani. “When I woke up and saw the damage that happened to Beirut, the one thing I said was thank God we are still alive.”
After the blast, she and her husband manage to carry on with their celebrations.
“My husband told me to continue, we can’t stop. I was like okay, why not, we continue. I was not living the moment actually, I was like walking, my face was smiling, my lips were smiling, that’s it, not more. Then we went to have a dinner.”
He recalls entering the damaged hotel on Wednesday to retrieve their belongings and passports.
“The scene in the room was unbelievable,” Subeih said.
Subeih is currently waiting for a visa to the United States so he can join his wife, who has admitted that living in Lebanon after Tuesday’s blast is not an option.
“There is a lot of damage, many people were killed and wounded. But also if I want to look at us, myself, my husband, the photographer — how we escaped unharmed, I thank God for protecting us.
“This alone makes me feel optimistic and to keep the joy of the occasion that I came here to celebrate.”

Alabi Afusat explained that she met a family who is naturally blue-eyed and their eye colour made their father abandon them.
The family’s story went viral and the mum of the blue-eyed girls, Risikat Azeez-Ayegbami – who is also blue-eyed – shared her story.
Risikat, a mum-of-two from Kwara State, told Punch that she was born with naturally blue eyes. She explained that since it was unusual, her parents took her to the General Hospital where a series of tests were done and it was revealed that her eyes are perfect.
She explained that as she grew older, concerned people kept commenting on her eyes and advising her parents to take her for a medical checkup.
While in primary school, she said her teachers invited her parents and asked them to take her to the hospital to check her eyes. She explained that when her parents took her to the hospital again, the doctors did tests again and told her that there is nothing wrong with her eyes and they are just naturally blue like that of a Caucasian.
She added that the doctors gave her lots of gifts and told her that they love her eyes.
“I can see clearly and there’s nothing wrong with my eyes,” she said.
A relative also explained how Risikat used to be invited to the General Hospital when she was a child just because they were fascinated by her eyes. The relative added that the General Hospital used to “compensate” Risikat for honouring their visit.
Risikat grew older and got married. She gave birth to three girls and all of them inherited her eye colour.
However, she explained that her husband, Abdulwasiu Omo Dada, had a problem with it and abandoned them as a result.
She said he loved her with her eyes at first but after she had their first child and she was born with the same eyes, their relationship changed and it became hard to have a conversation with her husband. It got worse when she had her younger daughter.
“When I had the first baby, it became difficult to have a conversation with him. Till I left with the children, we didn’t have a conversation.
“Whenever I attempt to have a conversation with him, he would get angry and walk out on me.”
She said that when she got pregnant with her second daughter, things were so hard for them that they couldn’t afford food or medical care. She began going to her parents’ home to eat and when it was time to have her child, her parents paid her hospital bills.
The second baby came out with blue eyes too and at this point, her husband’s behaviour worsened. To make matters worse, his parents also expressed their displeasure with the eyes of his children.
Risikat said: “Even his parents were asking him if he was going to keep having children with blue eyes.”
She said her husband began leaving home for days on end. Sometimes, he will be away for a whole week and wouldn’t leave money for his family.
She said she began eating at her parents’ home again. After the child’s christening, she said her parents asked her to leave her husband.
She said that since she left, her husband has not shown up to ask after her or their kids.

he just faded. Didn’t see him again. Searched EVERYWHERE but found just breeze and silence with a few leaves floating in the air.
My guy asked who was there, i told him it was just a passer-by, but Morphasah was still barking. I understood what just happened and kept quiet.
Some houses that were rented/bought straight up (rebuilt or renovated) are haunted by mostly earthbound spirits who are attached to one or two things concerning such houses. Either the land itself or some property. These spirits dwell with the new occupants and seek out ways to communicate and sometimes attack, shift tables, chairs, make some sounds just to show they see them and are on to them. Some manifest as mere passers-by and bike riders passing by the street. The difference is in their eyes and countenance. Watch them closely as they watch you

Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry and Her head prophet, Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin have been the center of media buzz and speculation since inception.
The ministry of Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin is blessed with mind boggling and awe-inspiring miracles, signs, and wonders that attest to the supremacy of God and His hand upon Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry.
One of such testimonies, is the story of Sister Rachael Omije from Delta state, who was allegedly poisoned while attending her mother’s burial at Agbor, Delta.
Rachael suffered through several months of severe pain and even lost use of her legs, due to this demonic attack. Life, as she knew it, changed completely. She became a regular at healing homes and hospitals, searching for an answer that eluded her.
It took several months and even a diabolical intervention gone wrong, for Rachael to realize that hers was a case that needed the Ultimate Healer; the God who opens closed doors and causes the very nature of the supernatural to be turned and overturned for our good. Rachael experienced this God, through Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.
Just one supernatural encounter with the God of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry and Rachaels has received a new lease of life, completely free of illness and paralysis.
This could be your testimony too. Miracles, signs and wonders are our divine heritage. May God bless Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin who continues to be evidence of God’s ability to save completely!
