“They raped me and forced my brother to have sex with me” — 20-year-old kidnap victim narrates ordeal
A 20-year-old girl, identified as Chioma Dioke, on Tuesday, narrated how kidnappers forced her elder brother to have sexual intercourse with her inside a bush called Sambisa forest located in Ezzagu in Ebonyi State.
Chioma, her brother and another victim, had gone to Onunwafor, Ezzagu, for business purposes before they were kidnapped and held hostage for five days before the Police came to their rescue.
The business involved a modality in which the people of the community were investing money and were receiving high amounts as their returns.
However, the owner of the investment business reportedly ran away from the community with the payments made by their customers without the knowledge of Chioma and her brother. In anger, the youths abducted Chioma and her colleagues and held them hostage in the bush.
Narrating her ordeals after she was rescued from the kidnappers’ den, Chioma revealed that she was repeatedly raped by boys from the community while others used hands, rods and sticks and inserted them into her private part.
“After they finished molesting me, they said my elder brother must have sex with me. They carried my brother, beat him up thoroughly and ordered him to start having sex with me.
My brother told them that it was against our culture. They insisted that he must do it and pointed a gun at his head. My brother had no option than to have sex with me,” she added.
Police eventually got wind of the incident and stormed the forest, killing two persons and rescued the victims.

Chinonso Eche has emerged as the youngest African footballer to set a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive football touches in one minute while balancing another football on the head.
The eleven-year-old lad who hails from Warri, Delta State was identified through his skill as a football freestyler, he was able to complete 101 touches while he held another ball on his head.
Eche speaking to BBC, said he loves to freestyle because he believes he has the gift and does it to entertain his friends in school, adding that he prides himself as the best football freestyler in Warri.
Eche said he started free-styling since he was eight years old when his father showed him clips from retired Nigerian skipper, Jay Jay Okocha, Brazillian Gaucho Ronaldinho and Barcelona footballer, Lionel Messi, BBC Africa reports.
“My dad showed me videos of Messi, Ronaldinho and Okocha and I started practising,” Eche said.
He also hopes to play for Super eagles and Clubs like Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid.
“I will like to play for bigger clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Super Eagles,” he told BBC Africa. Eche said he wakes up every day at 4:30 am to practice his football skills before preparing to go to school.
“After school, I go to the school field and practice with my friends,” the Guinness World record breaker said.
He hopes to be an international freestyler who travels all over the world.
Ogun Police rescues six year old girl from her stepmother who allegedly tortured her using nails
The police in Ogun State have rescued a six-year-old girl after her stepmother, Abimbola, allegedly tortured her with nails at their residence in Ijagba, in the Sagamu Local Government Area of the state.
The little girl’s plight was brought to the notice of the police by a non-governmental organization, Olanrewaju Omo-George Foundation, after it received reports from concerned neighbors about the horrific treatment her father Taiwo Onabanjo and his new wife meted out on the minor. The foundation’s supervisor, Christopher Onuegbu, said immediately the report was received, a complaint was made at the Sagamu police division and the couple were immediately arrested.
“We received a distress call that a stepmother had been torturing a child with nails. The stepmother used the nails to inflict injuries on her head and body, and we asked for the location and the person said it was in Ijagba, Sagamu. I informed our secretary to report the incident at the Sagamu Police Station, where two policewomen accompanied our secretary to the address and arrested the stepmother.
During the arrest, the neighbours came out and testified that the woman had been maltreating the child. A call was made to the husband and when he came, he supported his wife and the Divisional Police Officer arrested him. The child has been running a temperature because she was brutalised from head to toe; we took her to the Skylack Medical Hospital, where she is receiving treatment.
We are trying to locate the biological mother of the child, who is said to be in Ijebu-Igbo. Our foundation has decided to settle the victim’s medical bills and sponsor her education until she graduates from higher institution.” Onuegbu said
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the husband had been released. He added that the stepmother is being held and interrogated at the Sagamu Divisional Police headquarters while the victim has been taken to hospital for medical attention.
He said the suspect would be charged to court once the investigation is concluded.

A young lady is currently filled with ecstasy after her mother who has been battling Coronavirus for almost two months, finally recovered.
The said lady, identified as Miller shared a short video of herself and her mum as she proclaimed that God is real as her mother cried in appreciation of her life.
Miller shared that her mother could only scream “Thank God” because of how relieved she was to be free of the deadly virus after battling it in the hospital for 55 days.
She wrote,

Nigerian Pastor ‘reburies’ George Floyd in Imo state (photos)
A Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Humble Okoro, has carried out a funeral service for late George Floyd in Mbaise, Imo State.
Leadership reports that Pastor Okoro while carrying out the funeral, said..
“I have traced the ancestral root of George Obinna Floyd to Umuoffor kindred in Obokwu obibi Aboh Mbaise Imo State and I feel so happy now that we have reburied him alongside with his ancestors.”
46-year-old Floyd was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest for allegedly using a counterfeit bill in May this year. He was buried in Houston on June 6.

Big Brother Naija: Lockdown housemate, Kaisha has said she believes her fellow male housemate, Ozo should have won the head of house challenge on Monday.
According to her, she feels the 27-year-old consultant and entrepreneur should have emerged HOH because he is real and has a great personality.
Speaking on how she feels in the house, Kaisha revealed that she feels good because she is receiving good vibes from fellow housemates unlike before when they all acted fake and ganged up against her.

Commotion as police allegedly shoots car conveying a man and his family, resulting in the wife losing consciousness while their kids watched in horror
Nigerians on social media are currently enraged over an incident that occurred last Sunday, 26th of July which involved the police and a family.
It’s been reported alongside a troubling video of how a police officer allegedly shot at a car occupied by a man and his family, allegedly over refusal to pay a bribe.
The incident is reported to have happened around Japaul house in Ikeja. According to one Ayodele Oyewole who shared the video, the wife fainted after the police officer shot at their car, shattering the rear windshield.
Videos which have now been shared online show people confronting the police officer after the incident. They put the unconscious lady into the car and asked the police officer to drive her to a hospital.
The children of the lady who passed can be seen crying and calling out for their mum as they witnessed the horror play out.
Giving an update earlier today, Ayodele revealed that the husband has decided not to pursue the case anymore because the police have begged him and promised to repair his car.
This has however, angered a lot of social media users as they’ve begun clamouring for justice for the family who were yet another victims of police brutality.

A Nigerian lady has taken to her twitter page to berate her late father while revealing how his actions killed her mother’s dreams.
According to the lady’s story, the father opposed her mother’s suggestion to open a school and it was because he couldn’t see past misogyny.

Billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy took to Insta stories recently to share a throwback video of herself partying with Big Brother Naija: Lockdown housemate, Terseer Waya, better known on the show as Kiddwaya.
The duo were spotted sipping drinks amid friends as they cheered, laughed out loud and had discussions. Although the video had no audible sound, they were all smiling and appeared to be having a good time.
It should be recalled that few days ago, DJ Cuppy declared support for Kiddwaya as she shared a throwback photo with him.

Kiddwaya recently made his intention known to his fellow housemates as regards the lady he will like to date in the house.
During a “Spin the bottle” ( truth or dare) game, Kiddwaya was dared to pick and kiss the girl the “one girl he likes in the house.”
As expected, he walked up to his love interest, Erica and they both shared deep and passionate kiss for 30 seconds in front of other housemates.

A Nigerian graduate whose wife is currently an expectant mother, has pleaded with Nigerians via Twitter to find him a job to take proper care of his family.
Sharing his story, he revealed how he graduate from school as the best student in 2016, but since then it has been difficult for him to find a good job.
He subsequently got married and himself and his wife had to take on teaching jobs, in order to sustain the family, but the outbreak of COVID-19 has worsened their financial crisis.
His story reads;

“Don’t start pitying me when life frustration gets the better part of me to do the unthinkable. I graduated as the best student from the department of marketing, The Polytechnic Ibadan in 2016.
I served in Niger State where I met a fellow corper I eventually got married to in December 2019. Since there is no reasonable job anywhere, we both started teaching job to sustain our young home.
As graduates, she was being paid 10,000 naira monthly (regularly) while I was being paid 22,000 naira monthly but not regularly. The last time I collected salary even before the pandemic was January.
The pandemic outbreak in March made worse our condition. We couldn’t afford to pay rent again and our landlord sent us parking. We have to move in with my sister who is also a single mother of three.
When we waited endlessly for the pandemic to be over, I decided to start learning tiling work. I believe a responsible man must not pity himself but just find legal means to succeed.
The issue now is that since March, we don’t have any source of income.My sister is trying to feed us to the limit of her financial capacity but it is not all easy. My wife is presently pregnant but we don’t even have money to register for antenatal.
Please, I am not begging for money I will not work for because I am not lazy. Help me find job to take care of my family. The sight of my wife in pregnancy not being taken proper care of is a nightmare that is killing me gradually.”
