#BBNaija: Indomie Nigeria reacts to eviction of housemate, Eric from the Big Brother house
Popular Instant Noodles food brand, Indomie, which is loved and consumed by a majority of Nigerians, have given their reaction over the recent eviction of housemates, Eric and Tochi from the Big Brother Naija reality TV show.
Tochi and Eric were among the housemates who had the least votes from fans on Sunday before the rest of the housemates were asked to pick at least two out of the four housemates who they’d prefer to be out of the house.
At the end of the selection, Tochi and Eric got evicted. Reacting to the development, Indomie Nigeria took to their twitter page to say they’ll miss evicted housemate, Eric who’s known to be quite a foodie.

#BBNaija : Nengi reveals the cause of her fight with Lucy.
Big Brother Naija ‘lockdown’ housemate, Nengi, has revealed caused the heated argument between herself and Lucy yesterday.
Lucy and Nengi were engaged in a harsh exchange of words as both ladies called each other unprintable names and other housemates tried to prevent them from generating into a physical confrontation.
When Biggie asked her about the fight she had with Lucy, she said ;
Lucy said she wants to speak to me
She said i’m hoarding the guys, i’m being too close to the guys, can’t i stay without being with the guys..
And i told her i am close to the guys, they are my friends, i am just being myself, i have always been a guys girl.
I felt it was very immature for her to come at me like that because i was like, if she likes anyone that she presumably thinks i’m hoarding, she should also hoard the person.
Yesterday, after the evictions, i was very emotional and on my way to my room, i heard Lucy say ”all these girls in this house should pick someone and stick with the person.
I met her and asked ”hope she wasn’t referring to me ?”, she replied saying that she wasn’t but even if she was, there’s nothing i can do about it.
I can’t remember what else happened but i know i called her ‘childish’ and asked her to act her age.

Nigerian rapper and actor, Falz has lambasted Diezani Alison-Madueke for her statement about yahoo boys becoming role models in Nigeria.
Recall, the Diezani made the statement while delivering a lecture at a virtual event which was also attended by former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Speaking at an event organised by the Ijaw National Development Group on Friday, the former Minister of Petroleum Resources blasted Nigerian youths for adopting yahoo boys as role models.
In her words;
“The ones that have swag, the Yahoo Yahoo boys as my son would say; these in short, are the role models they are looking at. These are the ones that reinforce negative societal norms and values,”
Nigerians were largely oppose to her comment as many felt she was a contributory factor to the search for illegal means of survival.
Singer Falz has now reacted to the former petroleum minister’s outburst, saying she is the ‘real yahoo yahoo’ person here.

BBNaija: “I want to kiss you” – Dorathy tells Brighto
Not many people would have thought of Big Brother Naija housemates, Dorathy and Brighto being an item, but from the look of things, there’s every possibility that the duo might be the next BBNaija: Lockdown sweethearts.
While viewers are getting accustomed to other love pairs like Nengi and Ozo, the love triangle with Erica, Kiddwaya and Laycon, the terms and condition couple, TolaniBaj and Prince, it now seems Dorathy and Brighto might be added to the list.
Dorathy recently revealed that she wasn’t pleased with Brighto for turning down her advances when she made her move on him. This was after Brighto revealed to the show’s anchor, Ebuka Uchendu that Dorothy has feelings for Ozo and that there seems to be a love triangle existing between herself, Ozo and Nengi.
Following the discussion with Ebuka, Dorothy shared that she was displeased over what Brighto said about her. Dora can be heard telling Brighto the kiss she wanted from him during the Saturday night party was real and it wasn’t because she was drunk.
Dorathy revealed that she felt offended Brighto denied her the kiss at the moment she wanted it.
Dorathy said,
“You offended me Bright because we had a discussion last night and you didn’t take me seriously because you thought I was drunk.

Man cries out after girl he took home from the club refused to leave after spending two days
A Nigerian man has cried out after a lady he picked from the club refuses to leave his house after spending two days
According to the man, he took the girl took home for a one night romp but ever since their fun moment together she has refused to leave.
The yet-to-be identified man recounted how he met her in a bar, took good care of her and she followed him home for “activities” hoping she would leave the next day, only for her to request that she spends other night.
However, he was hit with a huge shock when he came home, hoping that she has left only for her to use the money he gave her to leave, to cook for him and cleaned his house.

BBN 2020 contestant, Nengi has revealed the reason why she can’t be with Ozo.

The BBN lockdown housemate and first HOH informed her rumoured love interest, Ozo about her displeasure with the meeting he summoned for the whole housemates to thrash out their differences.
She also questioned why the housemates are concerned about her mode of dressing and asserted that everyone should mind their businesses.
Nengi further said she can’t be with Ozo because he is too peaceful, in her words “every time peace, peace“.

A Nigerian lady has advised people who stay with their parents to make wise decisions with regards to being independent.
The lady, Sandra said that people who do not have stable means of income have no reason to leave their parent’s house as the challenges would be easier to surmount while under their roof.
According to the lady, bills will always come but it will be easier to handle them while staying with parents as ones mother would never allow her child to go hungry.

According to him, there is nothing a man gains in a marriage that he cannot get as a singer person. He said this in response to a question about important truth people don’t agree on.

Tears As Chidinma Ajoku, FAAN Staff Who Was Crushed To Death By Fallen Container Is Laid To Rest (Photos)
The staff of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Chidinma Ajoku who died on July 26 after a container fell on a commercial bus she was in has been laid to rest.
Ajoku and her friends were going home from work when she faced her untimely death.
She was laid to rest at Ikoyi Cemetery on Saturday, August 8.

The deceased was on her way home from work with a male colleague when tragedy struck.
According to her mother, the bus Chidinma was in had stopped to either drop or pick passengers when a speeding trailer carrying a 20-feet container fell and the container landed on the bus
The visibly distraught mother said she’d waited for her daughter’s return all night but was informed the following day that there was an accident and the casualties had been taken to the hospital,.
On getting to the hospital, she was referred to the morgue where she saw her daughter’s body.
Former President, Obasanjo undergoes Covid-19 test
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo over the weekend underwent Covid-19 test at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The former president has received many guests of late, hence the test.
Mr Akinyemi said in a statement on Sunday that Obasanjo was tested for coronavirus on Friday at his Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library penthouse in Okemosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Giving details, Akinyemi said Dr. Olukunle Oluwasemowo collected Obasanjo’s sample for the test.
The media aide said the test result returned negative on Saturday.
This followed the death of former Ogun senator Buruji Kashamu on Saturday in Lagos. Buruji, 62, died of coronavirus complications.
The Popular Nigerian Senator who served as a Senator representing Ogun East in the 8th National Assembly, Buruji Kashamu died of Covid-19 complications.
His death was also confirmed by Senator Ben Murray Bruce.
The former Bayelsa Senator wrote on his verified Twitter page saying;
I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable. He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.

The Adelekes, family of award-winning Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, with the stage name Davido, have added another jet to their collections.

The former minister, who is being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, for alleged fraud running into billions of dollars said ;
“The ones that have swag, the Yahoo Yahoo boys as my son would say; these in short, are the role models they are looking at. These are the ones that reinforce negative societal norms and values.
“This is a travesty of an unfolding tragedy for us. Why have I spent time talking about fatherless homes and the impact it has on our children? The truth of the matter is that an irresponsible boy tends to become an irresponsible man and it is therefore a vicious cycle. If you plant yam, you cannot harvest plantain.”
