Hushpuppi has been dominating the media since his infamous arrested by the Dubai Police and just recently, an old video of him giving a hint of what he does with his money resurfaced online.
The video which was filmed months before he was arrested by the Interpol in Dubai captured Hushpuppi at a dining table with some friends as he spoke about his philanthropic nature.
Ramon Igbalode who appeared to have been speaking about the issue of tithes noted that he does a lot of good that people on social media do not necessarily have to know about.
Speaking on how he helps people, the alleged fraudster claimed he usually goes online to search for charity organizations around the world to make donations. Hushpuppi noted that he doesn’t donate to Nigerian foundations alone because some of them do not make use of the funds as expected.
The self-proclaimed billionaire gucci master had also said the donations are usually made anonymously as he does not want anyone to know about it. Hushpuppi said it should be a secret between him and God. The alleged fraudster added that he goes to bed at night peacefully knowing that he has offered help to those in need.

A Nigerian man identified simply as Kefi on social networking platform, Twitter has taken to his page to share his experience after a Twitter user advised that it is important to date someone that draws you closer to God.
According to Kefi, the advise is a sham as he has had his own fair share of such experience while in a relationship.
Kefi recalled the time his ex-girlfriend who was making him do dry fasting for 3 days every month, was sleeping with one of the junior pastors.

Popular American stand-up comedian and TV host, Rickey Smiley revealed that his 19-year-old daughter, Aaryn, was shot three times during a road incident in Houston, Texas over the weekend.
Speaking on his Rickey Smiley Morning Show” on Monday, July 6, an emotional Smiley said,
“I wasn’t even going to say anything about this. I’ve been dealing with this all morning, sitting up here with butterflies in my stomach trying to do the show. My youngest daughter was shot last night. She’s in the hospital right now… I’m just so angry.”
The comedian explained that his daughter was going to Whataburger to get something to eat when she was caught in the crossfire on Sunday night, July 5.
“I go to bed around 8:30 or 9 o’clock, and I woke up to text messages,” Smiley recalled. “The fact that she’s laying up in the hospital and probably going to have to go into surgery… She’s just crying, she’s scared, I can’t get to her and I just hate it.”
Later on Monday, Smiley took to Instagram to reveal that his daughter “made it out of her operation.” He thanked everyone for their prayers, adding that she’s “doing great.”
His daughter also posted about the incident on her Instagram Story as well, sharing a photo of a blood-soaked car seat.
She wrote,
“This is the most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me. I won’t be out of the hospital for a while nor will I be able to walk for a while due to nerve damage,”

In a statement to USA TODAY, the Houston Police Department confirmed the incident at 6898 South Freeway in Houston Sunday night, saying Rickey’s daughter and three men were transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.
“The three men were in a vehicle at a stop light…when an unknown vehicle passed them,” the Houston police statement said.
“The occupant(s) of the vehicle began shooting multiple times, wounding the three men. A female passenger in an unrelated vehicle was also struck.”

The US Embassy in Abuja was yesterday, stormed by protesters who demanded a forensic investigation over ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Timi Frank, Dino Melaye and some Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains link to arrested fraudster, Hushpuppi.

A video that has gone viral on facebook captured the moment a man returned home from prison after 13 years.
In the emotional video, the man gave his mother the element of surprise by sneaking up to her from behind and when the mother realized it was her son, she was overwhelmed with joy and she could not hold back the tears.

The Enugu state Magistrate court on Monday, July 6, remanded a couple, Mr. Jude Ozougwu, and his wife, Ifeoma in prison for allegedly brutalizing their 10-year-old maid, Nneoma Nnadi.
The couple made news over the weekend after photos of the battered body of Nneoma surfaced online.
The state police command today arraigned the couple before Chief Magistrate Agu of Enugu North Court 1 sitting in the Enugu North Magistrate District on three-count charge bothering on attempted murder. The charge marked No MEN/298c/2020 is between the Commissioner of Police vis Mr Jude Ozougwu ‘m’ age 40 years and Ifeoma Ozougwu ‘f’ age 24 years.
At the hearing of the case, the Police Prosecutor, CSP Paschal Nwachukwu, argued that the magistrate court lacked the jurisdiction to hear such a case. He added that the issue of bail for the couple as raised during court proceedings was premature, uncalled for, and against the dictates of the law.
“The evidence of this matter is grievous and weighty. How can one explain nailing a child as it was done to Jesus Christ, using hot pressing iron, sharp and dangerous objects on her even to her private parts,” he told the court
However, counsel to the couple, Emeka Orji, argued that the court should put aside the public sentiment attached to the case and grant the couple bail. Orji said the couple has two little children to also look after.
The presiding Magistrate, Agu, refused to admit the couple on bail and ordered that they be remand in the Nsukka correctional facility pending further advice by the state’s Director of Public Prosecution. The case was then adjourned till August 10 for a report of DPP’s advice.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has arraigned social media influencer and comedian, Adedamola Adewale Rukayat (a.k.a Adeherself) before Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offence Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos on a one-count charge of possession of fraudulent documents.
The defendant was arrested last month following intelligence received by the Commission on the activities of some young men allegedly involved in internet fraud in the Lekki axis of Lagos State.
During interrogation, Adewale AKA “Adeherself” reportedly confessed to being a picker” in cybercrimes.
The count read: “That you, Adewale Adedamola Rukayat, on or about the 15th day of June 2020 in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, with intent to defraud, had in your possession documents titled “WhatsAPP”, which representations you knew or ought to have known, was false and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 6 (8) (b) and 1 (3) (d) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act No. 14 of 2006.
She pleaded not guilty to the charge.
In view of her plea, prosecution counsel, S.O. Daji, asked the court for a trial date and also prayed that she be remanded in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Service, NCS.
The defence counsel informed the court of a bail application for his client and also prayed for a short date to enable its hearing.
Justice Solebo adjourned the matter to July 13, 2020, for the hearing of the bail application and also ordered the defendant to be remanded in the EFCC custody

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, has said refreshments will no longer be served aboard domestic flights.

Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency, EFCC, has broken silence on the reported arrest of its acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu, by security agents.
In a statement on Monday, the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, denied that Mr Magu was arrested – but confirmed that the EFCC boss is at the Presidential Villa to appear before a panel set up by the president to review activities of the EFCC at the villa.

A Twitter user with the handle @sama_on_point has cried out on behalf of a nursing mother who was allegedly battered by her husband at their home in the Ogba area of Lagos state today July 6.
In the video, a female neighbor could be heard asking the woman to pack her things and leave the house as being married isn’t by force.
The Twitter user who posted a video to backup his claim, gave the name of the nursing mother’s Mrs. Ngozi and her husband, Mr. Henry.

A Nigerian lady identified as Modela Cole has taken to her social media page to call out out BBNaija 2019 housemate, Enkay for delivering an over-sized dress to her after taking her measurement.
According to Modela cole, the delivery did not come on the required date and when it came, what she ordered was way different from what was delivered.
Sharing the video, she wrote;
“I order this dress @theenkayclothing on Tuesday which was supposed to be delivered on Friday afternoon or at worst in the evening, I didn’t get the dress delivery until last night.
There was no notice for this delays, I kept following up on the delivery through several calls to @theenkayofficial , she didn’t return my calls nor reply my texts and messages on WhatsApp and on instagram.
After several attempt to reach her, she sent a message to me on Saturday morning that the dress will be delivered in the morning, I didn’t get the dress until almost 9pm last night.
I tried the dress on last night only for me to found out the dress is oversized, I also send her the video of the oversized dress last night, she didn’t apologize for the mess rather she was saying she use my exact measurement which I sent to her, I have retake the dress measurements the outcome is shocking and a total disaster.”

Nollywood actress, Lala Akindoju has slammed the Actors Guild of Nigeria for visiting her colleague, Regina Daniels, who recently gave birth to her first child.
The visit was led by the guild’s President, Emeka Rollas, who presented gifts to the new mum.
Lala took to Twitter to condemn the act, saying it’s shameful because they should use the same energy to do the things that actually move the movie industry forward.
