Speaking during an Instagram Live with City People Magazine on Saturday, June 13, 2020, the Minister, said President Buhari, however, told the countries asking for food to wait because Nigerians must be well-fed first.
He said the countries made the requests because of the success of the agriculture programme of the federal government.
“This is not in the public space but President Buhari’s priority was, tell them to wait, we must feed our people first before we send out food, we don’t know when this is going to end,” he said.

A Nigerian doctor has taken to his social media page to give the narrative of how himself and his friend who is also a doctor were “charmed” by two female residents of a community they served in.
According to the doctor, @Maxvayshia, the incident occurred in a South-South village – he further disclosed that while the charm worked on his friend and almost made him marry one of the girls, it however didn’t work on him.
He tweeted,
During youth service, i was charmed by a female native of the land i served in. But the story was bizarre, even for the lady who did. I always wondered what my friend (A Medical Doctor with high tastes then) saw in this pear-shaped dusky lady with dimples like drops of Jupiter..
Had just a primary school cert but generally looking caked up in makeovers that covered a lot of lack of exposure and body odour the small of inferior quality bedford lorry engine oil. My man was always a butt man but this lady had above average busts and slapped behind…
But this my man was determined to MARRY her. All of a sudden. Yea you heard that right. MARRY. In fact, the only quarrels we had was on her account. My guy was out of his senses, i thought. I became convinced the day his mother needed to be discharged from hospital having….
Been discharged from Hospital after 3 weeks on admission. Boss stopped picking her calls cos he had to concentrate on paying this lady’s brother’s rent, school fees and buying him a bike to start side business. I figured something was wrong. At this point I will summarize…
I needed to act fast. I found a way, after a lot of patience and calculation, to blackmail the lady and got her to not only confess but tell and bring out what she used in charming my friend, divulged where it was all made. But i wasn’t concerned with who made it.
Quietly worked on getting the reversal cos “her life now depended on it”. After 2 weeks, it was done but money was spent. Yes. A week after this, she was taken back to my friend (to give the reversal time to work) and made to narrate the confession in his presence….
My friend in the meantime had been waiting for her to come and clear up her things from his apartment as he was confused as to what so many of her belongings were doing in his room. Now here is the surprise…. She had a “bff” best friend, who i and my friend knew and were friendly with. I noticed she liked me but i was indifferent. She was lively and fun before this whole incident. My friend:s lady was not going to go down alone so she had her join us in this confession. Turned out that this lady charmed me too but to her shock….
It didn’t work. She went to her source THREE times and tried it 3ce. Didn’t work on me, she observed, despite intensifying it. It made her turn against her source as she believed she was duped. Clashed with her source. I was a bit perplexed and a little amused. Not upset. No….
My guy got over her immediately but till today, even when married to another Medical Doctor, with 2 children, still cannot forget such experience cos he never believed such was possible for him. It is good we can laugh over it now bit that is how a Medical Doctor could….

A 50-year-old father, Peter Ayemoba, has been arrested by the police for having carnal knowledge of his two daughters, The Nation reports.
Ayemoba told the police during interrogation that he had been sleeping with his daughters since his wife died about seven years ago.
He stated that sleeping with his daughters made him to feel close to his late wife, adding that the romps he had with them allowed them to bond more.
Ayemoba said,
“I started sleeping with my daughters about seven years ago when I lost my wife in 2013.
“The death of my wife got me so confused that I did not even know when I started sleeping with my daughters.
“In fact, I don’t know what has come over me.
“The death of my wife devastated me to the point that I did not know what I was doing.
“I suspect that somebody placed a curse on me, because what I have done in the past seven years is not ordinary, frankly speaking.
“What I did after my wife’s death was to bond with my children and they became closer to me until gradually I started sleeping with the girls.
“Honestly, I cannot explain why I should do that to my own daughters. But there was a spirit that kept telling me that I would not be the first man to sleep with his daughter and at such, I should not worry too much about it.”
Ayemoba insisted that he got the consent of his daughters before sleeping with them, adding that it was with their consent that the relationship continued even after he took a second wife.
He said,
“After my wife’s burial, I started having feelings for my daughters. I would go to their room and play with them until it metamorphosed to having sexual intercourse with them separately on a regular basis but with their consent.
“Whenever they rejected my sexual demand, I would tell them that I wanted to be closer to them since their mother was no more.
“At times I would threaten to kill them and commit suicide if they did not allow me to sleep with them.
“One day, I had to refer them to the Bible about Lot who had sex with his daughters and was not punished by God.
“I told them that the intercourse between a father and his daughters was normal and it is written in the Bible.”
The father of six said his second wife was not aware of his romps with his daughters, neither did his four sons know about them.
He added that his daughters probably did not tell his second wife because they were not close to her. He said,
“My daughters, after noticing that I was doing something abominable, forced me to get another wife that would satisfy my sexual urge. But despite the marriage, I still made love to them at the slightest opportunity my new wife was not in the house.
“Honestly, what is happening to me is not ordinary. I need to go out to sort myself out either physically or metaphysically so that I will have peace of mind.”
Apparently tired of the sexual demands of their father, the girls decided to report to a family member who turned him in to the police.
Ayemoba, however, expressed surprise over the action of his daughters. He said,
“They voluntarily, willingly accepted to be having sex with me any time I demanded it.
“What baffles me is that for the number of years we were having sex, we were happy. Then all of a sudden, they reported the incident to a family member who brought us to where we are (police station). I am still surprised at what they did.”
“But maybe my cup has filled to the brim, so let the law take its course, I am ready for any eventualities.”
Some South African nationals are calling for Nigerian expats to leave their country after a video showing a woman, believed to be South Africa, twerking for some Nigerian men went viral.
The hashtag, #NigeriansMustFall is currently the number 1 trending topic on Twitter as of this moment. South Africans are using the hashtags #NigeriansMustFall and #NigeriansMustGo to call out Nigerians as they also blame them for the rot in their society.
In the video that’s sparked outrage, a lady is seen pulling down her pants to twerk for some Nigerian men. The lady twerking is also seen with lipstick between her butt cheeks as she danced for the men who can be heard speaking Yoruba.
Reacting to the video, some South Africans accused Nigerians of different things, including drugging and raping their women. Even when some of them even pointed out that the woman doesn’t look like she was forced to twerk, others shut them down and stated that, even if she wasn’t forced, she probably must have been drugged.
Some other South Africans came to the defence of Nigerians and accused their countrymen of xenophobia. They pointed out that femicide is on the rise as South African men kill their women and get away with it. But those people were also shut down as South Africans passed the blame to Nigerians.
Nigerian Twitter users have apprised Nigerians residing in South Africa to be careful as the hashtag could snowball into violence. Below is the video that caused outrage and reactions to it,

The apprehension of Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Ray Hushpuppi earlier this week has pitted Nigerian detectives against their counterparts from the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
According to a report by PREMIUM TIMES, Nigeria and the U.S. launched the battle for the possession of Ramon Abbas AKA Hushpuppi, following his arrest and detention by Emirati authorities earlier this week, according to two officials familiar with the development.
“Immediately we got confirmation that he had been arrested in Dubai, we all started fighting to get him,” a senior Nigerian detective told PREMIUM TIMES on Friday. “He is a subject of multiple and conflicting interests between Nigeria and the United States.”
Officials said the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) has been leading America’s effort to take possession of Mr Abbas because many of those he allegedly scammed in years of advance fee fraud were Americans.
Officials could not immediately estimate the financial value of Mr Abbas’ alleged fraud, citing poor cooperation from Dubai authorities, but they expressed confidence his exploits spanned across Europe, U.S. and Nigeria.
Mr Abbas’ arrest was first rumoured on Nigerian social media Tuesday, but PREMIUM TIMES was unable to get official corroboration until Friday. Even then, two officials who confirmed knowledge of the arrest and offered preliminary information elected not to do so on the record — fearing that American officials could jettison back channel negotiations that began on Thursday morning. PREMIUM TIMES also agreed not to identify both officials because their request satisfied its policy on anonymous sources.
Nigerian officials said UAE authorities have frustrated all their attempts to obtain more than a cursory account of Mr Abbas’ arrest, including when and where he was held.
“They are even reluctant to tell us the preliminary charges that they have against him so we could weigh them with the charges that we have against him in Nigeria,” one of the officials said. “We know that the money involved would be much for the Americans, but we are optimistic that we will prevail in bringing him to Nigeria to face trial.”
The police in Dubai did not return an email seeking comments from PREMIUM TIMES. An e-mail to the Interpol was also not returned for several hours on Friday. Umar Garba, Nigerian head of Interpol, did not return requests seeking comments from PREMIUM TIMES.
A telephone number for the FBI in Dubai repeatedly entered voicemail on Friday evening. It was unclear whether Mr Abbas has contacted a lawyer as of Friday evening.
Our law enforcement sources said they were left to assume that since Mr Abbas’ Instagram page, which frequently saw a whirl of postings that carefully molded an opulent image of him, has seen no activities for the past one week, then his arrest must have come around the time rumoured on social media.
A second official told PREMIUM TIMES that even though Mr Abbas was not declared wanted in Nigeria and not on Interpol red notice, his activities have been regularly analysed by detectives in Nigeria and abroad.
“He is not on the wanted list but his arrest is of interest to both the U.S. and Nigeria,” the official said.
Following the reports of the arrest of popular Nigerian socialite, Ray Hushpuppi by the International Police and the FBI over fraud in UAE city, Dubai, there’s been a lot of reactions over the development.

The news have obviously spread widely across the continent, sparking a lot of reactions from different countries who are familiar with the socialite.
Some South Africans have also waded in on the situation and as always been when it comes to Nigeria, they went all in to drag the socialite and the country in general.

Via his Insta-story, Mompha wrote; “Don’t believe all these stories flying on social media because when I was arrested by efcc different stories was flying all over. At the end, my charge was selling foreign currency without no license which till now they can’t prove it and also can’t believe why so much hate in Nigeria”.
Recall that when news surfaced that Ray Hushpuppi was allegedly whisked away in Dubai by the combined forces of the FBI and the INTERPOL, rumours were that the Nigerian socialite was involved in a COVID-19 scam.
Shortly after that news broke, Mompha, who had been embroiled in a bitter feud with Hushpuppi in the past, took to his Instagram to throw shades. “Never mock anyone who is facing a trial case co you don'[t know tomorrow,” he posted and deleted, referring to Hushpuppi’s mockery of him after he was arrested by the EFCC months ago.
Now, folks want him to get arrested too by the FBI and INTERPOL, and it is why he has now called them all out and tagged them “hypocrites.”
He said: “For those idiots tagging fbi and interpol on my page and saying you are next na thunder go fire those hand you use in typing by the special Grace you idiot think fbi or interpol dont know mompha ??? you must be really sick ? fucking hypocrites they never mind their business Bastards!!!”

On reaching the waterfall, the little lad for few seconds, observed the serene environment before taking off again.
Zion is Wizkid’s third child he welcomed with his manager, Jada Pollock. Despite the singer having three sons with three different baby mamas; Boluwatife, Ayo Balogun Jnr and Zion, it is apparent that little Zion is his favourite.
Former professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather’s ex, Josie Harris’ cause of death has been revealed as an accidental overdose involving Fentanyl and Xanax.
According to official records, The Los Angeles Medical Examiner-Coroner determined 40-year-old Josie died of “MIXED DRUG TOXICITY (FENTANYL, ALPRAZOLAM).”
Alprazolam is an anti-anxiety medication better known as Xanax. Josie’s death was ruled as accidental as there were no signs that she intended to take her own life.
The mother of three was discovered dead in her car which was parked outside her home in Valencia, California. According to the police, she was unresponsive when one of her kids found her in the car in front of their property back in March.
Following her death, Floyd Mayweather took to his social media pages to pay tribute to the mother of three of his children. He posted throwback photos of the two and captioned them “My baby” and “sunshine.”
Mayweather was criticized for his posts about Josie due to the reports that she and the ex-boxer were headed to court later this year.
Josie Harris reportedly filed a $20 million lawsuit against Floyd because she claimed that he lied about her during an interview with Katie Couric years ago.
During the interview, Mayweather claimed Harris was high on drugs during a 2010 domestic violence incident.
In the lawsuit, Harris accused Mayweather of lying and claimed the evidence showed he viciously abused her. At one point in the case, an appellate court gave her backing by allowing the case to move forward.
The appeal court found,
“Since this evidence is unequivocally at odds with the assertion that Mayweather was simply restraining a drug-addled Harris by only twisting her arm, it may reasonably be inferred that Mayweather acted with malice or reckless disregard of the truth during the Couric interview.”
Acting chairman of anti-graft agency, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has reacted to the apprehension of Nigerian socialite, Ramon Igbalode better known as Ray Hushpuppi.
Hushpuppi was on Wednesday June 10th, 2020 arrested in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) alongside his colleagues by International Police (INTERPOL) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for alleged fraud.
In a recent interview with TVC, Magu stated that the commission is not involved in Hushpuppi’s arrest.
“We are yet to be involved in the case of Hushpuppi, but if they happen to give us this thing (details) we would assist.” Magu said
The antigraft agency boss in the interview denied the allegation that the agency is mostly interested in the arrest and prosecution of internet fraudsters.
He said the Commission also rehabilitates the suspects arrested for internet fraud.
“We are not all about arresting, prosecuting and chasing of internet fraudsters, and taking away the proceeds of their crime, but we are also trying to see wether we can rehabilitate them. Because most of this boys are either undergraduate or graduate from higher institutions, so they can be better people to our country.
The menace of Yahoo boys is also a course of concern, we are collaborating with other law enforcement agencies.
Yahoo boys have an association with their mothers who do not feel what their children are doing is a crime actually. It is called the “Yahoo Yahoo Mothers Association, a suitation where the mother would go abroad and the child would stay there and help them syphon funds from credit card fraud.
So we are doing everything possible to arrest the situation” he said
“Popular Musician Davido and his woman Chioma (whom he put a ring on her finger and welcomed a son with) are allegedly no longer a couple for now due to circumstances beyond their control…Or should we call it Irreconcilable differences?
The Estranged love birds allegedly no longer live in the same house and are presently not in good terms according to what is being whispered.
The Insiders who say that Chioma did not have COVID19 as earlier made to believe allege that the couple had a fight back then and that story was sold to the public to hide ‘slap marks and punch marks’.
These Insiders also say that Chioma did wrong by joining him ” to shame his other baby mamas not knowing that the cane that f l o g g e d the first and second one was waiting by the corner to flog her…She didn’t behave like a babe from Eastern Nigeria at all,Because babes from that part are smart and will make sure you wife them totally to avoid stories that touch but Chioma got carried away by love and the expensive gifts, albeit that some looked like audio gifts”.
Even though there are allegations that the couple are no longer together because he welcomed a new child with a 4th lady,I cannot say for certain that it is true but you can take it to the Bank that what is tearing them apart is greater than what bound them together.
There are also whispers that the story about being passed from her alleged ex to him also did some damage to their love…..sad!
Davido and Chioma are no longer as active as they used to be on their social media handles and Chioma has recently began to disable commenting from her page because of trolls while he is allegedly trying to recover and drop the crutches…
If they are meant to be together, they will make up the break up and shame those laughing now…… A Love story falling apart is not the end of the world but let us wait and see…You can never tell with the power of love!”

The Nigerian mother of the 5-year-old girl-child whose birthday photos were heavily criticized due to her wearing heavy makeup and swimwear has berated those that dropped ‘negative’ comments about her daughter.
After the pictures went viral, the mother was dragged by Nigerians showing displeasure at her inappropriate outfits, demanding that she should be allowed to be a child that she is.
The mother identified as Adewale Yetunde Adedeji defended her decision to wear heavy makeup for her daughter to celebrate her 5th birthday saying she has a right to do what she likes on her daughter as she birthed her with no one’s help.
Yetunde said knows Nigerians are frustrated but they should channel their frustration to President Buhari and not her or her daughter.
The mother of one told her critics to go and meet Buhari as she noted that they are frustrated
According to Yetunde, for her daughter’s 5th birthday, she went all out in celebrating by ensuring she was dressed in different outfits for her Photoshoot, from a swimwear outfit to pyjamas wear and a cultural outfit, while being heavily made up.
She also said critics are just helping her daughter named Okikiola Mitchel to gain fame.

Plans are underway by the International Police (INTERPOL) Nigeria to extradite Instagram celebrity Raymond Igbalodely a.k.a. Hushpuppi from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nigeria to face alleged multiple fraud charges, The Nation learnt on Friday.
The INTERPOL is also on the trail of other accomplices in the alleged fraud who are resident in Nigeria to bring them to justice.
Commissioner of Police (CP) INTERPOL, Garba Umar disclosed these to The Nation yesterday while confirming the arrest of Igbalodely whose real name is said to be Ramoni Igbalode.
He said: “It is true that Hushpuppi was arrested by the INTERPOL. We are currently working on bringing him to Nigeria to face charges of fraud.
“Some of the offences were committed here in Nigeria and he has to answer for them. He is not alone in it; there are accomplices in the country who we are currently on their trail,” said the CP.
Hushpuppi, known for his reckless display of wealth on social media, was arrested three days ago for allegedly hacking into the United States (US) unemployed database and impersonating citizens qualified for unemployment funds.
He and his accomplices in Nigeria, Dubai and other countries allegedly defrauded the US of over $100 million meant for Native Americans in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
The Nation reports that his arrest came three days after he posted a picture of his newly acquired 2020 Rolls Royce Cullinan worth about N280 million, the latest addition to his fleet of exotic vehicles.
It was alleged that Hushpuppi was arrested alongside two of his friends after weeks of investigation by the US Secret Service, following the alarm raised in May about a crime ring of suspected Nigerians who broke into the personal information of citizens and used factitious unemployment claims to steal hundreds of millions of dollars reserved to help jobless American people.
The syndicate was alleged to have filed in so many names of Americans who were still working to various state unemployment offices and collected money from the system.
They were alleged to have used information stolen from first responders, government personnel and school employees.
