This day might definitely not be the best of days for Nigerian comedian, Ebiye as he’s been ensnared in two scandals in just one day.
Earlier today, it was reported that an ex-girlfriend of the Instagram prominent comedian accused him of sexual and physical assault during the period they dated.
The lady, Hannah, in her exposure, said they dated between 2018 and 2019. She alleged that the comedian who once threw his phone at her, threatened to throw her out of his house at odd hours if she said anything to anyone. Read all about it here
Now, in reaction to this, another lady, who happens to be a White Danish lady, took to her page to reveal how the comedian also once harassed her with explicit photographs of his genitals in her DMs.
The lady, Ellen Baby, took to her page to share screenshots of their chats from 2017. She however didn’t post the screenshot of where the comedian sent the explicit photo but mentioned he’d sent it prior.
Ellen Baby, who in her IG stories, revealed that she’s been harassed with so many explicit photos stated that usually, she’s not one to expose these perverted people because of the effect it could have on their family, she however had to voice out so as to help other ladies speak out in wake of the rape stories that’s been going on online.
Top notch Nigerian media personality, Tolulope Oniru-Demuren better known as Toolz has narrated the painful story of how she lost her first child.
The 38-year-old OAP revealed this in the latest episode of Life Lessons with Betty Irabor on Thursday, June 4.
Toolz, a proud mother of one, who was recently appointed Programs Director at Beat FM, shared her tragic experience about what it felt like losing a baby after 6 months pregnancy.
According to her, she was extremely excited and began looking forward to childbirth after she got pregnant few months after her wedding.
Unfortunately, as her pregnancy approached 6 months, she noticed she had never felt any movement in her womb and began seeking medical attention.
She eventually flew to the UK after Nigerian hospitals “missed a few things and didn’t pick up on the problem” early enough. Upon visiting a hospital in the UK, an ultra scan showed her baby was too small and may not survive.
“I never once thought that the health of my child would be an issue,” Toolz said.
Speaking further during during the program, she said her Doctor told her the baby was no longer alive and thus, would need to push the dead baby out.
“I heard a voice saying ‘this isn’t going to work out but you’re going to be OK”, Toolz said she went spiritual at that moment.
In her words,
“That was horrible, When we did the last scan, there was nothing, no movement.”
“Oh my gosh, it was horrible, it was absolutely horrible,” she added.
The OAP went on to state that the Doctor gave her some medications that were supposed to make her go into labour three days later.
After receiving the medications on Thursday, she was told to return on Sunday. However, she went into labour on Saturday, a day before the assumed day.
On that fateful day, she was preparing breakfast on that fateful Saturday when she felt sharp pains.
She recounted,
“I was in so much pain and that’s when I realized that gosh, I’m in labour. I was in labour for hours.
“It was very very traumatic. I try not to think about it too much.
“This was in the UK, they had to do like an autopsy, I had to arrange a funeral. It was horrible.
“That whole time, I was just like, ‘Yeah, God, I’m done’. I’m like ‘come and take me, I’m gone’.”
Toolz went on to reveal how she was later blessed with a handsome son after losing her first child.

Following the reports that a Babcock University student, identified as Godknows Adolphus Owhor otherwise known as Yangy, was called out for allegedly raping a whopping 24 ladies, he has now come out to react to the allegations.
Godknows’ alleged victims came forward with their stories after a Twitter user @caramelangiee shared screenshots of a DM she received from one of his victims.
The victim, who chose to stay anonymous narrated an encounter she had with Yangy… how he aggressively raped her when he invited her to his place in the guise that they’ll be going out together.
This followed with other victims, one who claimed he’s a pedophile, another claiming to be his cousin – the report spread like wildfire and it flew with the tale that the number of ladies he’d raped amounted to 24.
In a new video, Yangy, looking distraught and filled with emotions challenged any of the ladies who claimed he’d raped them to reveal themselves and own up to their allegations.
According to Yangy, the thought of suicide crossed his mind after he saw the claims that were doing harm to his name. He stated that it was the intervention of his relatives that curbed him from committing suicide.
He then threatens to sue whoever comes out with the claim that he raped her. Watch him speak below,
Spouse of Nigerian singing sensation, Timi Dakoko, Busola Dakolo, has given an update on her rape case with popular clergyman, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
In her update on her social media page, Busola, a professional photographer and fitness enthusiast, shared how there have been plots to silence the issue, but she is hell bent on getting justice, as her case ‘cannot be silenced’.
Read her update below;
“It is now officially one year after since I came out and told the most important story of my life up until this point. That when I was a teenager, Biodun Fatoyinbo violently raped me. It wasn’t just me.
In the media, on social platforms and in private, women have been sharing stories of how this man either destroyed their lives or tried to.
A lot has happened in that time: and my heart is glad that consciousness continues to be raised about the great evil that sexual abuse is, and how widespread it is, and how much women are at risk, and why we need to ensure justice for those who find the strength to speak out.
Awareness is victory. But we are pushing to another even great victory: Justice.
When the courts last year decided to rule in favour of the man who assaulted me, people were crestfallen. I understood.
What they didn’t know however is that before we even began, we had been prepared for a long haul battle that may take years because the Nigerian legal system isn’t wired to help sexual abuse victims get justice.
Today, I have a major update. The police has concluded its investigation. And handed over its report to the Ministry of Justice in Abuja for onward prosecution of Biodun Fatoyinbo. He clearly has a case to answer.
But there has been silence from the ministry. Silence. A loud silence!
We have written a letter but for over a month we have no response. Instead, my lawyers and my family have heard about all manner of manipulation and foul play being attempted to stop the ministry from beginning prosecution immediately. Or even to get the police report manipulated.
My name is Busola Dakolo, a survivor of one of the most horrific acts -rape. My voice will not be shut down. My case will not be silenced. I am thankful to those in and out of the police, the ministry and the corridors of power who have called in solidarity and to reassure me that they are monitoring the ministry of justice and that this pressure to bury the case will not succeed.
I am updating the Nigerian public because you all made my story matter. You joined me to say enough is enough. With you, this has been an easier process.”
Sunmbo Adeoye, wife of Lagos pastor, David Adeoye, has joyfully narrated how God blessed her with two children in the space of 22 months.
The mother of four, previously had two children with singer 2face Idibia before she got married to Pastor Adeoye in 2013.
However, the couple waited for five years before they welcomed their first child together, David Jnr, in 2018, and welcomed their second child, a girl, a few weeks ago.

TESTIMONY – PART 1
This was in June 2017
I had travelled to Connecticut in May for my nieces graduation and commencement service and to also have our baby after so many miscarriages and failed IVF’s.
On The day of our ultrasound, I was so excited as my niece followed me for check up.
We got in the room and in the usual culture of the American health practitioners, I was expecting the lady in the lab to give me updates and let us hear the baby’s heart beat. Instead she kept asking questions.
At first I didn’t get why she asked until she said she’s sorry “but there’s no heart beat” and so I have to be transferred for further testing due to the recurring losses.
Devastated yet hopeful that God will not let me come this far to have an evacuation in the U.S. I was there to have a baby Lord, I reminded Him. Your covenant with me is to carry my own child in due season Lord. I started to pray in tongues. Called my husband who was then preparing for a “Just worship” mid week service back in our home church as I was transferred to the next room for more testing.
I tuned in to service and the invited music minister @ibitayojeje started sharing about her waiting season and how she’s now with a child.
Was that a coincidence? Well, I am sure it was a word that God had sent to me in due season. My hope was ignited, regardless of whatever the doctors report was, I am bent on holding on to God’s promises I told myself.
I went in still plugged into service using my ear piece. The doctors gave me the news I dreaded the most and scheduled me for evacuation the next available date.
I kept telling them to allow my husband fly in as I wasn’t going to take that decision alone.
After the service was over, Pastor called and told me he will be in America on Monday before the scheduled procedure.
I was so hopeful and I believed there will be a miracle before he arrived. I worshipped God and danced like we all do when no one is watching.
My husband came and I am most grateful for the support I got during this time from my sister and her family. My niece, nephews, brother in law and my mum . They all ensured I didn’t snap into depression.
The night came and I was in pain, my uterus started to contrast. I think it was the natural way of the body letting out what’s not living. I was rushed to ER.
After the whole process was over by mid morning, I was discharged. My husband held my hand and prayed with me. We both decided to just live and trust God for what’s to come.
I told him I didn’t feel like going home yet that I wanted to take a walk and just take in some fresh air. So my mum and my husband obliged and we took a walk. It was in the midst of walking I started to worship, I couldn’t cry, I just worshiped, then cracked jokes, took selfies. All I loved to do.
I started taking pictures of my husband, my mum. I demanded that they pose for me. They sha did all I said to make me happy. And if you know me, you will know how much I love to take pictures. So this was my happy place.
With no wig on and no care for make up, (abi who wears wig and make up to ER I smiled and took a selfie with my man.
Ah! Pastor Adeoye is my hero forever. He is soo strong. Our waiting wasn’t even the same. It was his own 20years of waiting and my own 4th year. But the man encouraged me ehn like the Man of Faith that he truly is.
Fast forward to few days later, it was Father’s Day. I had bought cards and signed it previously with our baby’s name on it and so I couldn’t alter it anymore after all that had happened. I gave it to him anyway. We went for dinner with the family and went shopping the next day before he travelled back to Nigeria.
I planned my return and with all the shopping I had made for the baby I returned back to Nigeria EMPTY.
Empty oo but hopeful. It was one of the most lonely and painful trips ever. I had excess luggage, I was made to pay for my hand luggage too after my transit in dubai. A new rule I wasn’t aware of.
Through all of this, I didn’t let anything get to me until I touched down in Nigeria and immigration started to search my luggage’s. I didn’t know when I broke down in tears saying “pls let me go. I didn’t buy this to retail them, I bought it for my baby who I went to deliver but returned empty”.
The immigration officer showed empathy and encouraged me to not cry that very soon I will return with babies. I didn’t even wait to lock the luggage’s, I just said Amen and told the NAN officials to assist me.
My husband was already waiting to receive me at the arrival lounge and we went home.
Luckily the next day was my son’s graduation so I called a stylist to help glam me up, head to toe. I wasn’t ready to wear my pain. I changed my garment to praise, gratitude and joy.
I even sang at my son’s graduation program with other parents.
Was I in pain? Oh yes! Especially because this is Africa and people would openly question what they don’t understand rather than keep quiet.
I was in the news again bcos of the bump that had not return back to shape. Some even asked for the baby and I replied with “they are coming”. As I went back to doing the father’s business. Serving God, meditating on the word, living a life of faith and mentoring other to fulfill purpose.
3years down today, God has blessed me with 2 more children, male & female. Both within the space of 22months.
Listen to me, whatever you may be waiting for, know that if you entrust it to God and stay hopeful, it will surely come.
When I say “GOD CAN BE TRUSTED, I meant it literally. For Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to Adesunmbo Adeoye failed; every one was fulfilled. (Joshua 21:45) He has never failed me and He will not fail you too. Numbers 23:19 MSG says “God is not man, one given to lies, and not a son of man changing his mind. Does he speak and not do what he says? Does he promise and not come through”???? So WAIT! Don’t Give up! Don’t quit just yet, You have tried but you need to endure the process a little more, your outstanding result is closer in Jesus name and we shall join the world to celebrate your testimony soon”

A Nigerian man has been captured on camera, narrating how he sexually abused a 12-year-old girl who was a regular customer at his shop and this has angered a lot of people.
According to the man, the little lass usually turns him on whenever she visits his shop — he revealed that at first, he tried to resist the temptation but later on, gave in and assaulted her.
While giving the narrative to his friends, the people around him accused him of ‘raping’ a minor, but he felt that wasn’t the case as he kept on insisting that it is ‘sexual abuse’ and not ‘rape’, because the girl didn’t scream while he was doing it.
When the people around him warned him about the police arresting him for his action, he boastfully replied, “Who go arrest me?”.
A lady —@the_EstherOkoro— who shared the video on her Twitter page, wrote,
Please I am calling on the good people of Nigeria, we need to find this man, he is a RAPIST, he raped a 12 years old girl and he feels no remorse at all, he believes he has done no wrong because he was “feeling” the girl. Please RT till we find him and bring him to justice.
He’s said to be living in Jakande estate in the mainland of Lagos and he apparently calls himself “pastor”. Pls RT, we need to find this man and get justice for this little girl he has traumatized.
Nigerian actor and philanthropist, Williams Uchemba has thanked God for saving his life after he was down with an illness for 2 weeks.
The actor who doubles as an online comedian, made his heartfelt appreciation on his official Instagram page earlier today, June 4th.
Narrating how it all happened, the actor said he became too busy at the detriment of his own health. He shared how he’s always been busy during night hours running an online program at Harvard University.
Uchemba also blamed his sickness on his failure to get enough sleep after his Doctor revealed he broke down because of too much stress.
Sharing before and after photos of his illness, the comedian appreciated his friends and fans who noticed that he’d gone MIA on social media and reached out to him.
Revealing that he’s fully recovered, Williams expressed gratitude to God, especially for not testing positive for Covid-19.
Read his full story below,
“I guess the body breaks down when/if we forget to stop and take care of our health. The past few weeks have reminded me of how we take good health for granted. Since my return to Nigeria from the US, I’ve been unable to sleep at night and in the morning, I head out for my daily activities, neglecting my sleep.
“Few weeks ago was the height of the stress cos I’ve been taking an online program at Harvard University which runs through the night. In the morning I head out for outreach to feed people on the street so last two weeks my body parked up and I had to be taken to the hospital.
“They ran all the tests and No it wasn’t Covid 19 ? thankfully. I was under immense stress. Thanks to each and everyone of you that noticed my absence on social media and left tons of messages. I feel a lot better now Swipe left to see my current state. All thanks and Glory be to God Almighty . What have I missed?”
Recall that the actor recently made headlines after he took a poor family out of the slum and got them a new home.
Former Big Brother Africa winner and prominent Nigerian TV presenter, Uti Nwachukwu has finally reacted to the rape allegations that were tendered against him by a lady recently.
A lady, Kambili Korie on Twitter, had in a series of tweets shared her experience with the ex-Big Brother Africa winner three years back.
While claiming that Uti raped her in the year 2017, she went on to allege that he’s bisexual and treats males better even though he’s into females more. Read here
Reacting to Kambili’s allegations, Uti Nwachukwu begged her to report the said incident to the police. The “Jara” anchor went on to add that if Kambili fails to show at the police station within three days, he would report the case to the Inspector General of Police.
He wrote,
I reject this characterisation and deny this baseless allegation in the strongest terms possible.
Furthermore I am urging this faceless victim to report this purported crime to the nearest police station •
•
I am willing to pay for all the fees you incur in reporting this alleged crime
•
•
if after 3 days u fail to disclose yourself or report the crime, I shall proceed to report the case and the blogs and other internet host spreading this fake news to the inspector general of police for cyber terrorism and Libel
•
I am appalled and disgusted that blogs are too lazy to properly investigate baseless claims before putting up badly scripted and edited posts on their pages all for numbers they get from the back and forth drama. Shame.
How do you put up posts from a faceless twitter page created months ago?
You put up fabricated and photoshopped chats and tweets doctored by these mindless trolls without proper investigation? .
.
Once again dear faceless victim, 3 days and your time starts now.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Ebiye’s ex-girlfriend, Hannah has taken to social media to accuse him of sexual and physical assault during the period they dated.
Hannah, in her exposure, said they dated between 2018 and 2019. She alleged that the comedian who once threw his phone at her, threatened to throw her out of his house at odd hours if she said anything to anyone.
Hannah also claimed that while some girls told her she was dating a “rapist and a pervert” others sent her dick photos he allegedly sent without them asking for it.
Hannah who dubbed the comedian as a “sick manipulator and a woman beater“, recalled how he allegedly threatened to kill her and also kill himself if she ever leaves him.
She tweeted,
He saw my friend tweet and he started messaging my finsta because he’s blocked everywhere else. @ComedianEbiye
I have been quiet for too long but I actually have your time today. Ebiye and I dated at the end of 2018 to early 2019. I was at his house for a while and it was such a horrible period of my life because I practically suffered in silence. He physically abused and sexually harassed me countless times.
It sounded so embarrassingly stupid telling anyone that someone I was in a ‘relationship’ with constantly had his way with me and that leaving was not even the easiest/safest option for me at that time. No doesn’t mean no for him, whenever he wanted it, he had to get it especially days he’d come back drunk. He smashed things on me and threatened to throw me out of his house at odd hours if I said anything to anyone.
He was so confident because according to him, he has friends and followers that’d believe his side of the story. A certain time, he threw his phone on my face and it fell and broke into pieces. He took a picture of his shattered phone with my own phone and turned it into a motivational speech on his instagram, something about phones being distractions to success.
He lied that he smashed his phone himself because he wanted to work without distractions. I watched as people in the comment section laughed and asked different questions and I still couldn’t say anything because it wasn’t that easy for me to. He wouldn’t let me go out to see my friends and he wouldn’t let my friends come to the house to see me.
I was more of embarrassed to tell any of them so I kept lying because I was scared of what they’d say and I wanted to ‘protect his career.’ Different girls kept sending me messages telling me he was sending them dick pics that weren’t asked for.
They kept telling me I was dating a pervert/rapist and everytime I tried leaving, he’d kneel and cry his famous tears. Sometimes he’d push me to the wall and press on my neck so tight till I’d start begging.
He had a knife one time and threatened he’d kill me and kill himself if I swear to leave him again. His housemate heard me screaming and begging to be left alone and he ran upstairs to see Ebiye literally dragging me on the floor close to the stairs, he flipped it on me and told him I was ungrateful and that I said really rude things to him. Ebiye is a very sick manipulator. He’s a woman beater.
He’s very much capable of murder and he needs to be checked out before someone else becomes a victim of such. When I managed to leave and blocked him. He started sending me emails. @ComedianEbiye
How do you call physical and sexual abuse mistakes? And just yesterday when my friend called him out for harassment on twitter, he messaged my finsta to beg.
He kept unsending messages after begging me to tell my friend to delete her tweets.
She also shared screenshot of an email in which Ebiye allegedly begged her not to tell anyone what happened between them.
On Thursday afternoon, June 4, he released a statement in which he vehemently denied the rape allegation. He said he has never raped or sexually assaulted anybody before.
He also apologized for his old tweets in which he declared himself a rapist and also encouraged the rape culture.
Paul Okoye and his brother, Jude Okoye have both reacted to the news of the Federal government allocating N27bn to National Assembly for renovation while slashing budgets of important sectors like Health and Education.
Paul Okoye took to his Twitter account to state the Federal government can only do such a thing because they know Nigerians can’t do anything about it.
”27billy to renovate …… they know we can’t do anything,… it is called “see finish” …….. Naija government don see us finish aswear ….. #fuckedup even with dis my tweet sef , some people go still come abuse ….we all are #fuckedup” he tweeted.
When some Nigerians suggested that he should lead a protest, Paul Okoye responded;
”Some of you will be shouting “organise protest “ when you know that looters will be more than protesters when e start .”
Reacting to the news, Jude Okoye wondered if the renovation is to make the National Assembly members have a finer environment for them to take more selfies for the gram.
A young man, identified as Iphex, has taken to his social media page to tell ladies what they should do if a man wants to forcefully engage in sexual intercourse with them.
According to Iphex, who reportedly is a final year student of Edwin Clark University, it’s pointless to struggle with a rapist and end up sustaining injuries, or make the rapist ‘put it in the wrong hole’.
Iphex advised ladies to stop fighting or resisting rapists, because it will just make the matter worse for the girl being raped.
“If you fight with them, there is a likelihood that he will put it in the wrong hole, which is also painful. Why struggle and go through all the unnecessary pain and torment when you can just let it happen smoothly?”, Iphex said in a video.
One of the two upcoming actresses, who called out Nollywood movie producer, Victor Okpala for demanding sex for movie roles when she was barely 17, Sharon Jatto has shared screenshots of her alleged recent chat with him after she called him out.
In screenshots of the chats she shared, Okpala allegedly begged Sharon as he also asked her to put the “past where it belongs”, while pointing out that his family will be destroyed if she continues to call him out online.
Sharon, who wasn’t moved by his statement, demanded for a public apology from him.
See some of the chats below;
According to Sharon, she was 17 at the time the movie producer asked her to engage in intercourse so she can get the opportunity of a lifetime of becoming a star actress — she revealed that after she’d conversed with the producer in person, she told him she couldn’t do what he’d asked.
He eventually apologized to her when she outed him on her Instagram stories. Sharon demands justice be brought upon him because though she might not have indulge in the preposterous acts with him, the same might not be said for other young girls.

The thespian waded in on the current rape topic that’s been trending after women like Uwa Omozuwa and Barakat Bello were raped and murdered while in places where they should otherwise be safe.
The death of both ladies, 22 and 18 years old respectively and the rape of a 12-year-old girl by 11 men at different times in Jigawa has prompted other rape victims to speak up.
However, as the topic continues to trend, there are actually some people condemning rape victims for speaking up now, long after their tragic experiences.
Such people triggered actress, Halima Abubakar as she took to her Instagram to threaten exposing some prominent people who are guilty of rape and are trying to silence women.

The allegations of rape and sexual assault by male celebrities seems to be never ending in the wake of the #SayNoToRape stories that’s been rocking social media for a while now.
As rape victims begin to speak out on the ordeals they faced with a forceful male individual, a handful of male celebrities are not left out in the stories.
While it may be hard for some of these rape victims to come out to call out celebrities who forcefully had their way with them, some have found the courage to do so and social media is helping amplify their voices.
In a new development, a lady, Kambili Korie on Twitter, has in a series of tweets shared her experience with former Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Nwachukwu, three years back.
While claiming that the now TV presenter raped her in the year 2017, she went on to allege that he’s bisexual and treats males better even though he’s into females more.

I said to myself, “NOW IS THE TIME”
I have lived in torment and self blame these past three years. It was five minutes for UTI NWACHUKWU but until justice is served,it’ll be a lifetime for me.
As at 2017, Uti and I were casual friend. I was an apprentice in a men’s cloth shop then and that was where we met. I knew from day one that Uti was very hot tempered and should never go close to sharp objects when angered.
What I didn’t know was that he was capable of sexual harassment and rape. The first time he saw me he told me I looked good and he had a soft spot for melanin skin girls. I blushed, and had to tell everyone that I got a complement from a “star”
He had a girl back then, Angela. She was pretty and melanin too. He came around with her most times and my co workers and I really loved her cos she was nice. Such that when Uti made his first advance at me, I waved him off.
Uti asked if we can be friends, I agreed. Who wouldn’t want to be friends with a star? We hanged out a few times and I felt he was fun to be with. He even promised to connect me to a popular modeling agency.
The first time I went out with Uti, I told him we were just gonna be friends. I didn’t want any problem with his girl because she liked me a lot and we were on the verge of becoming friends. I wasn’t a virgin then.
But I had my reservations. He tried convincing me to visit him, but I told him”I don’t want your girl to break my head”. The common female slang then. He then asked to come to my house. I was sharing an apartment with one of my female friends.
We were actually comfortable but then I felt a little insecure aboutthe apartment. I felt someone like Uti should be welcomed in a glamorous apartment. I tried towave the idea off and told him we should just keep hanging out,but he was insistent so I gave in.
He finally came around and everything went fine. We talked, we laughed and that was it. We got closer after that day. When I realized I was beginning to develop feelings for Uti, I had to give him a little space.
He kept coming close,I kept keeping my distance. One fateful day,he came around without letting me know. My roommate wasn’t home then. I was a bit angry with him for the surprise visit but I didn’t consider it a big deal.
He made advances at me. Told me I was the prettiest girl he knew and that he was obsessed with me. I told him we could talk this out. He fled up. In his words “I always get what I want”. And that was when he forced himself on me.
When I told my roommate about it,she didn’t believe it. I told one of my coworkers, he never believed. That was when I decided I won’t mention it again. Uti went ahead to tell the guy I was dating, that I have been trying to seduce him.
I’ve been broken since then. He made me see all men as beasts. Worse more, I couldn’t speak out because nobody will believe me anyway. I see him smile on tv shows like he is an angel. He is none other but
@SirUTI
Kambili Korie went on to reveal that Uti never messaged her with his real number which is why she never got enough evidence and he threaded carefully with his actions. He shared a screenshot of an alleged chat with him where he admitted to raping her and saying he did it as a man and not because he doesn’t love her.
Further investigation into her claims had us stumbling onto a tweet of the TV presenter in the same year and month that Kambili Korie claims to have been raped by him where he said “He’ll be forceful if he loves you”
As at the time of filing this report, Uti is yet to refute Kambili’s claims.
Prosecutors charged three more police officers Wednesday in the death of George Floyd and filed a new, tougher charge against the officer at the center of the case.
The mugshots of the four police officers involved in the death of an African American, George Floyd, have been released.
Their mugshots were released after Senator Amy Klobuchar disclosed that Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison is increasing charges against former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin to second-degree murder.
The Star Tribune, citing multiple unnamed law enforcement sources, said Derek Chauvin who had his knee pressed into Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes, would face the more serious charge in the death of George Floyd.
Adeyeye Babatunde, a final year student of the Lagos State University who was recently lambasted on social media after a video of him sucking the lips of his sister, has now apologized after being dubbed a pedophile.
Babatunde triggered the wrath of so many Nigerians after the video he recorded of himself kissing a little girl who looks no older than 5-year-old on her lips, was shared online.
In a new video, Adeyeye apologizes and claims he only French kissed her sister out of the likeness they have for each other as siblings. According to him, he didn’t know the gravity of what he’d done and how viral the video would go, he then promises that the incident won’t happen again and begged the people to make it “die down”.
A lady, who’s also seen in the video and is believed to be the mother of the little girl, added that there’s nothing going on and the man was just “playing” with the girl.
Record label boss, Davido, as at the time of filing this report, is no longer following one of his record label’s prominent artists, Peruzzi on Instagram.
This action came not long after Twitter users dug up tweets of Peruzzi from 2011/2012, admitting he is a rapist. Davido’s action also comes after Peruzzi was accused of rape by a lady on social media, an allegation in which he has since denied.
A quick check on the DMW boss’s Instagram account shows that the “1 Milli” singer has unfollowed Peruzzi as at the time of filing this post.
Although the singer is yet to publicly reveal his reason for un-following his recording artiste, it should be recalled that yesterday, Davido took to his social media page to write about doing a cleansing and how he has been putting people before him but now, how he is set to focus on his life.
The singer also revealed he’s changed his mobile number. His recent actions, including unfollowing his own artiste has us guessing if maybe it’s all part of his cleansing scheme.
An 18-year-old lady, identified as Barakat Bello was reportedly murdered at her home in Ibadan after she resisted rape.
In an emotional video now making the rounds on social media, the mother of Barakat Bello, Mrs Kafayat Bello, has begged God to expose her daughter’s killers within seven days.
In an interview with BBC Yoruba, the distraught mother said she was not at home during the attack but returned home to see her daughter in a pool of blood.
Her words;
“Only God knows how it happened. I was not at home. Some neighbours called me around 6pm. By the time I got home, I found my daughter in the pool of blood. I was shocked. She took her phone to Kara for repair on Sunday and went to retrieve it on Monday around 2pm. Some people saw her around 5pm while returning home.
She later went to fetch water to take a bath. Those killers had stolen some things in our room. They met her on their way out through the backyard and attacked her. Her younger sister, who had gone to the Arabic class, was the one that alerted the neighbours when she found her in the pool of blood.”
“She made a lot of promises for me to turn our lives around because we are poor. They (the killers) did not make my daughter fulfil all her promises.
There is nothing people can do for me that would bring her back to life. But one thing I am asking Allah is whoever is involved in the killing of my daughter be exposed before seven days”.
Barakat has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
The Oyo state police command says it is investigating the incident.
