Super Eagles player, Odion Jude Ighalo‘s Manchester United loan transfer has been extended to January, 2021.
According to The Sun, the ace forward has “agreed” a loan extension with Manchester United until end of January 2021.
It was also revealed that his loan transfer extension is currently awaiting FA approval.
The agreement with his parent club Shanghai Shenhua officially expired on May 31st, 2020.
But according to The Telegraph, both clubs have now agreed for the 30-year-old to stay at Manchester United until it’s new year.
It is alleged that Ighalo will have to discuss a new contract with Shanghai Shenhua once he returns in 2021.
The news comes after his agent Atta Aneke confirmed talks were in place for the ex-Watford man to remain at Old Trafford.
Aneke told Nettavisen: “We are nearing an agreement with Manchester United on an extended loan.
“The agreement will mean that Ighalo will remain with them until January 2021.”
Ighalo swapped the Chinese Super League for the Premier League in a shock deadline day loan deal back in January.
And it is understood Ighalo took a 40 per cent pay-cut on his £300,000-a-week wages in China to make his dream switch happen.
He scored four goals in eight games before the season was suspended amid the Covid-19 pandemic – leaving his loan contract to run up.
The Nigerian made a personal plea to Shanghai Shenhua to let him finish the season at Old Trafford, before returning to China, and it appears his wishes have been granted.

A women leader, Precious, in the University of Benin, has in a new interview following the rape and murder of Uwaila Omozuwa, said the 22 year old was a virgin before her tragic demise.

According to the Precious, who beckoned on authorities in the state to work harder in finding the perpetrators of this atrocity, Uwaila could not have in any way “instigated” being raped as she was fully clothed before she was raped.
Precious went on to share the tragic details of the state Uwaila was after she was discovered in her pool of blood in the church. She stated that the 22 year old could barely open her eyes or even utter a word before she passed away.

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye has reacted to the rape and murder of Miss. Uwa Omozuwa in one of the branches of his church in Edo state.
The leader of one of the most popular churches in the country reacted to the tragic incident on Instagram saying what can be done at this time is to pray for the family of Omozuwa.

One Sergeant Felix Okago who was on Special duty with the Inspector, died from the gunshot injuries while others escaped unhurt. In an attempt to escape, he took a patrol van and headed towards third mainland bridge, shooting as he was escaping.
He was intercepted by Policemen from Bariga Division along Akoka, disarmed and handcuffed. The rifle and vehicle were recovered. The corpse of the deceased Sergeant is deposited in the mortuary for autopsy while the Inspector is taken to Police Hospital for medical examination as he presented signs of mental depression. ”the statement read in part

A police officer has been arrested after he opened fire on his colleagues at Onikan, killing some of them today May 31.
According to reports, the police officer went wild with anger around 5am following a disagreement with other members of his team.
The officer then opened fire on his colleagues, hijacked their operational vehicle and drove straight to Akoka in Yaba where he attempted to force his way into a building.

Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki, has reacted to the news of the rape and murder of a 100-level student of the University of Benin UNIBEN, Uwaila Omozuwa, inside a Redeemed Christian Church of God parish in the state.
The governor, reacting via his official Twitter handle, stated that the police has been mandated to identify, arrest and prosecute anyone found culpable in her death.
“I have ordered the Nigeria Police Force (@PoliceNG ) to thoroughly investigate the circumstances that led to the death of Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a 100-level student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN).
The @PoliceNG has been mandated to identify, arrest and prosecute anyone found culpable in her death. The Violence Against Persons (VAP) Law is in effect in our state.
Using this law, we would ensure to investigate what exactly transpired and deal decisively with the those found complicit in the dastardly act, whoever they might be.” he tweeted

Men of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested a 19-year-old Olufowoke Oladunjiye Emmanuel, a National Diploma holder of Yaba College of Technology, Lagos for blackmailing veteran singer, Queen Salawa Abeni with her ”nude photos”.
The police launched an investigation into the matter when the singer came online on April 1 to raise an alarm after she had a chat with the blackmailer who told her that he has her nude photos in his possession and would release them if she fails to pay him some money. Read here.
Following a detailed investigation, the suspect, Emmanuel who resides at Brentfield Avenue, Peace Estate, Magboro, Ogun State, was arrested by the Decoy Team of Rapid Response Squad last week Thursday after three days of trailing him.
The suspect who is a 2017.2018 Electrical Engineering graduate from YABATECH, said he picked up a memory card containing the nude photos of the Waka Queen on the floor in YABATECH in November 2019. After downloading the photos, he decided to contact her after getting her number on the internet.
“On 1st of April, 2020, I chatted her up and also called her after sending a few of the photos to her online. My intention was to negotiate with her for few bucks and for me to destroy the photographs.
I thought everything was going on fine until the following day when I heard the news of the blackmail over the radio. I was with my mother. She was even cursing the blackmailer unknown to her that I was the brain behind it.
I immediately sneaked out, destroyed the memory card and threw my mobile phone and SIM card into a nearby wetland in Magboro. Since then, I never mentioned it to anyone and called Madam Salawa Abeni about it again”, he said
Commenting on the arrest, the Lagos state Commissioner for Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, stated that no individual would be allowed to commit a crime in Lagos from any state or escape to other states in Nigeria to evade arrest.
He advised guardians to monitor their wards, emphasizing that the internet is a fertile ground for opportunities but the State command would not allow criminals to use it as an avenue to exploit law-abiding Lagosians.
A Nigerian doctor, Bright Oris, has shared the heartwarming story of how police officers found a newborn baby girl dumped inside of a dustbin and rushed her to the hospital where he works.
According to him, the police officers attached to the Niger state police command, heard the cry of a baby in the dustbin, and traced her. They immediately rushed her to the hospital to receive medical attention.
Dr. Oris says the baby girl is doing fine.
