Embattled Singer, Cynthia Morgan who has dominated news headlines all week, has written an open letter in an attempt to put an end to the saga which culminated following her interview where she revealed her struggles in her music career.
Cynthia claimed during her initial interview that the contract restricted her from using her name “Cynthia Morgan”. She also added that Jude Okoye took over her Instagram account.
However, Jude Okoye denied most of the claims. He denied restricting her from using her birth name. He also disclosed the things he did for Cynthia while she was signed to his record label, including giving her money to buy land for her mother.

Also, Cynthia’s former manager, Joy Tongo, weighed in and said Cynthia Morgan was lying and seeking self-pity in order to make a comeback.
Yesterday, a copy of the singer’s contract which was drafted by her former manager and signed by Jude Okoye, surfaced on social media and it further laid waste to Cynthia Morgan’s earlier claim.
Cynthia has now reacted by writing an open letter. In it, she thanked Jude Okoye and Joy Tongo but insisted she didn’t lie, adding that she only shared her story “as it happened from her own point of view.”

Fast rising Canadian rapper, Houdini has died at the age of 21 after he was shot in Toronto.
Houdini was reportedly gunned down on Tuesday evening outside a hotel in the downtown area of the city.
Houdini was one of three people taken to hospital with injuries but he was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. The two others, a woman, 27, and a 15-year-old boy are expected to recover from the attack.
Toronto Police believe it was targeted shooting after gunfire broke out outside the hotel sometime after 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Toronto Police, Chief Mark Saunders described the shooting as “very brazen” and revealed cops responded to reports of gunfire yesterday evening.
He said the attack was planned and suspects had been waiting in their car for around 40 minutes before opening fire.
Saunders explained: “It turns out the suspect vehicle, based on the evidence we have right now, was waiting for about forty minutes for the occupants of another vehicle to arrive to their vehicle.
“When they did, the suspect vehicle made a U-turn, came out, and started firing at this group of individuals.”
“This was very brazen, this offence that took place,” he said. “However, it’s very solvable…
“There was a driver of the suspect vehicle and we know that the shooter got out on the passenger side.”
A firearm was reportedly recovered from the scene and police are appealing for people with information to come forward.
A witness told CP24 : “What we heard was like a bunch of fireworks. There were lots of echoes – about six to 10 shots. It was quite startling and then you hear all the sirens afterwards.
“I think a lot of people have power outages in this area too, so people were out for a walk I guess. It’s quite shocking to see in this area.”

English Football club, Manchester United is edging closer to agree on a new deal to keep Odion Ighalo at Old Trafford after it was revealed the Chinese Super League’s foreign players are to be banned from returning until October, meaning he can’t leave anytime soon with his loan deal set to expire this Sunday.
His parent club, Shanghai Shenhua had been demanding Ighalo return to China ahead of the new Chinese Super League season next month with a two-year contract extension worth £400,000 per week on the table.

His agent, Ladi Salami has now revealed that an extension is close to being agreed between Manchester United, Shanghai Shenhua and Odion Ighalo.

A landlord in the Ofankor area of Ghana has reportedly been arrested for allegedly shooting his tenant who refused to vacate his house after he ordered him to.
A Facebook user, Blessing Naana Ansah-Senkyire took to her page to share photos of the arrested suspect at the police station.
She revealed that the landlord who was angry that her brother, Kobby didn’t finish packing on the day he was asked to vacate the property, took a gun and shot him while still in his room. Kobby reportedly died instantly.
She wrote,

Singer, J. Martins has weighed in on the ongoing contract controversy between Cynthia Morgan and and her former boss, Jude Okoye.
Taking to his Instagram page to react, the singer said Jude did his best to help and support Cynthia Morgan and May D, who also accused the Okoye brothers of not fully taking care of him as an artiste under their label.

A Nigerian guy whose alleged six years engagement to his fiancée was abruptly called off has taken to his social media page to air his disappointment.
The said gentleman told of how his fiancée returned the ring he engaged her with for “ordinary six years”. According to the young man, his fiancée calling it quits isn’t really his problem but the fact that she couldn’t wait for just another 4 years.

Former Nollywood actress, Regina Askia, few days ago, shared a video online where she had a candid conversation with her son about marriage.
In the video, the mother of three disclosed how she and her son’s father, Rudolf William were separated and how she suffered physical and verbal abuse while with him.
When her son asked why they couldn’t mend their broken relationship, she responded saying,
It was a very difficult patch in pur relationship. You know, people are on different journies at different times in their lives. Your father at that point, his head was not really investing in our relationship. He wanted to be whereever he wanted to be. It was not something I signed up for and we had a lot of fights and quarells and issues and somethings you can’t really forget and forgive. It will take a long time to forget and forgive and we kind of separated and went our different ways. I was in the house while he was tossed away. “That was a dark part. We fought alot. Physically and verbally. Emotionally. We fought alot and he resorted to using his hands but I cut him down with my mouth. ‘Olive had just woken, so I thought this was a good opportunity to have a go at getting a shot. ‘Since the day she was born, Olive has looked pretty angry! ‘At my six-week check (over the phone) the health visitor had asked whether she was smiling yet (a six-week milestone) and she definitely hadn’t smiled, her frown was strong though. ‘They even called me a few weeks later to check… and she finally had, but we certainly get more frowns than smiles. ‘To try and get a good passport photo without Olive wriggling, I shouted to my husband James to come down to hold her.
‘In the requirements for a passport photo, it states “eyes must be open and clearly visible”, “facial expression must be neutral”, both edges of the face must be clearly seen with shoulders squared to the camera. ‘These seem quite impossible to me, I’m not sure how other parents find it!’
