A gentleman has given the narrative of how he was embarrassed at Afropop singer, Davido’s house with rapper, Zlatan Ibile calling for him to be beaten.
The gentleman, identified as Raheem Sodiq stated that he was driving along Admiralty Way from his house which is closed to Davido’s house when he noticed some celebrities hanging around the singer’s house.
Excitedly, he decided to capture the moment only for him to be embarrassed.
He shared,
“On my way driving back home cos I live very close to Davido house in Lekki (Admiralty Way). Making my turn around the streets I noticed a lot of celebrities hanging and chilling alongside Davido on his Balcony so I decided to make a u-turn to capture a moment being a huge fan of Davido and 30 BG at large.
“So I parked and rolled down the glass half way. Just before we could do anything, one of the security guards moved closer and hit my brother in the face. I felt so disappointed and nothing made me feel so bad than hearing Zlatan screaming at the top of his voice from the balcony saying “are you guys crazy. Seize their phones, slap them”.
Raheem Sodiq also stated that he tried to explain but shelved the idea when he saw a crowd moving towards them with mob intentions. He had to zoom off for safety.

A three-storey building which is located at No. 6 Olonode Street, Ebute Metta in Lagos state, partially collapsed on May 25.
Gracefully, there were no casualties or any injuries recorded from the incident.
Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA Response team led by the Director-General/CEO, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, arrived at the scene of the incident and discovered that the building was old and distressed and that the reinforcement of the building were corroded, resulting in visible cracks on the walls and pillars due to lack of maintenance.
Occupants of the building were evacuated and the entire building cordoned off to prevent any secondary incident.
Further investigations and integrity tests were carried out by LASEMA and LASBCA and the building was revealed to be completely compromised.
Following a directive from the Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Physical Planning, and subsequent to a complete evacuation of residents, the entire building was leveled to ground zero in a swift and effective operation.
Occupants in adjacent buildings have been advised to carry out integrity tests to ascertain whether their buildings have been compromised to prevent any secondary incident.

A 46-year-old Argentine woman, Elizabeth Toledo was raped and murdered in the city of San Fernando in December of 2018.
Elizabeth’s body was discovered naked on a mattress on the floor in an apartment in Buenos Aires, next to her parrot.
As part of the evidence filed in the case last week, the police recorded a statement from a police officer who said he heard the Toledo parrot shortly after the killing saying no, Por favour, soltame!” (“No, please, let me go”), Clarin reports.
The police believe the parrot was repeating its owner’s last words as she was allegedly beaten and raped by two housemates.
The officer had been standing guard outside the murder scene when he heard what sounded like a woman screaming inside. He looked inside the apartment – but only found Toledo’s naked and bruised body lying on a mattress on the floor, along with the green parrot in a cage.
Evidence also includes witness testimony from a neighbour who claimed to have seen the parrot repeat the trick on a different occasion.
That witness told police that the parrot once said ‘por qué me pegaste?’ (why did you hit me?) after one of the men hit Toledo.
51-year-old Miguel Saturnino Rolon and 62-year-old Jorge Raul Alvarez are on trial for the rape and murder of 46-year-old Elizabeth Toledo in Buenos Aires in 2018.
Head prosecutor Bibiana Santella has reportedly included the parrot’s ‘testimony’ in the case file. Other evidence includes a bite mark from the victim’s forearm which they say matches the bite of Rolon’s teeth ‘like a fingerprint’.
Meanwhile DNA evidence found on Toledo’s body will link Alvarez to the rape and killing, they allege. An autopsy showed that the victim has been beaten, raped, and strangled to death, according to Clarin.
Ms Toledo rented a room to three men in the same house. Her housemates Miguel Saturnino Rolon and Jorge Raul Alvarez are the two who have been arrested in connection with the homicide.
The third housemate was also arrested, but he was not at home when the alleged incident occurred. The trial’s start date is yet to be revealed.

The 27-year-old woman identified as Mavis ‘Maadwoa’ Brepo, married to David Gator, 55, had allegedly planned with her 50-year-old boyfriend, Patrick Asare, to kill her husband so they could settle down together.
Mavis Brepo and Patrick Asare were reportedly apprehended after an assassin they had called to do the job turned out to be the Manhyia Divisional Police Commander.
Following their arrest, Gator has maintained her innocence, claiming that she was under the influence of a spiritual force when she planned with her lover to have her husband killed so they could both get married.
The two suspects made their first appearance in court on Friday, May 8, 2020.
According to a report by Adom News, Gator who was in court with other family members assured his wife of his undying love as she cried profusely after the hearing.
He also gave her an undisclosed sum of money and reportedly told her it was for her upkeep in prison while an investigation into the matter continues.
The publication also claimed that Mr. Gator has long forgiven Mavis and appealed for the charges against her to be dropped so that he can take her back as his wife.

In a new development of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the confirmed cases of the virus in the country has now hit 8068 after 229 people tested positive on Monday, May 25, 2020.
According to the update given by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC), 90 cases were recorded in Lagos, 27 in Katsina, 26 in Imo, 23 in Kano, 14 in FCT, 12 in Plateau, 9 in Ogun, 7 in Delta, 5 in Borno, 5 in Rivers, 4 in Oyo, 3 in Gombe, 2 in Osun, 1 in Anambra and 1 in Bayelsa State.
In total, Nigeria has now recorded 8068 cases of COVID-19 with 2311 patients who have been discharged from various Isolation centers across the country, while 233 deaths have been recorded.
An African American man caught the moment on camera, when a Caucasian woman put a call through to 911 and pretended to be in distress while lying that he (the African American man) is threatening her life.
The said lady was at the famous Ramble in New York’s Central Park when she took her dog off the leash — an act which is clearly against the rules of the park so as to protect the birds from dogs.
An African American man who’s “an avid birder” and had seen her dog off the lease, politely asked her to put it back on the leash but she refused.
When the man started filming her, she confronted him and asked him to stop, he then told her he will stop when she complies and puts her dog on the leash.
Rather than obey the park rules, the lady told him that she will call the cops and tell them peculiarly that an “African American man” is threatening her.
She said,
“I’m going to tell them that there’s an African American man threatening my life.”
She then took her phone, dialed 911, and told the cops exactly that. But she didn’t stop there as she went on to pretend like she was in distress and begged them to send the cops immediately. While talking with the police, she was strangling her dog, making the animal scream as though they were under attack.
She took her acting further by crying and clamouring for help as though her life were in danger.
The video was shared online by Melody Cooper, a sister to the African American man who wrote,

Melody Cooper later added that her brother is fine and didn’t get in trouble with the cops.
Twitter users have since reacted to the video in outrage and called for the woman, who was later identified as Amy Cooper, to be arrested for making an unnecessary 911 call.
Others went on to point out how she intentionally used the man’s race as a weapon against him — they said that by emphasizing his race, she knew what she was doing and hoped that the colour of his skin will make the cops biased against him.

Veteran rapper, Eldee has also weighed in on the drama between Cynthia Morgan and her former record label boss, Jude Okoye.
Recall that over the weekend, Cynthia Morgan had an Instagram Live interview, where she spoke about the record label issues she had after signing with Jude Okoye’s Northside Entertainment.
She spoke of how she allegedly lost her stage name “Cynthia Morgan”, her VEVO account, royalties, her Instagram account, and other things due to the contract she signed with the record label.
Taking to Twitter, Eldee, who joined the social conversation centered on Jude and Cynthia, said people cannot sign contracts and then turn around to complain of being cheated. The veteran rapper stated that if a company offers one a bad deal, it should not be signed and that if the person goes ahead to sign such a contract, it must be honored.
According to him, not honoring a contract is dangerous to growth in any ecosystem.

A budding Ghanaian actress identified simply as Shugatiti, has been attacked online after saying she charges $5,000 from men who want to sleep with her.

Mercy and Ike Season 1 Episode 5: “If You Want To End Things With Me, Pay Me Off”
Last week’s episode left the viewers wondering what would become of Mercy and Ike’s relationship upon Mercy’s return from London.

We see Mercy and her siblings, Promise and Chigozie having a conversation at Mercy’s house and showing the viewers how strong their family bond is. Mercy couldn’t contain her excitement to be finally reunited with Ike and to reassure him everything will turn out fine. As Ike made his way to Mercy’s house, he let the viewers know that he couldn’t pick up Mercy from the airport due to the situation concerning the video and photograph of her with Willy XO.
When Ike arrived, Mercy wanted to know if he had problems with her visiting her friends because he didn’t seem to have issues in the past. Ike mentioned that if he knew she was going to put on a show, he wouldn’t have allowed her to go and he felt she did it on purpose. Mercy went on to defend her actions by saying Willy XO is a genuine friend. While the duo continued to have a heated conversation, Mercy brought to the attention of the viewers that the people who are determined to put a wedge in their relationship are only hurting Ike not her and they need to see that he’s pained. Mercy also mentioned she doesn’t want to be in a family that doesn’t appreciate her, she expressed how mad she was that everyone is adamant that she travelled to London with an agenda and she doesn’t want to reach the point where she’s with Ike because she pities him.
Ike expressed that he really wants to be with Mercy and needed to know if they were on the same page. Mercy also expressed how much she loves Ike, but he always seems to choose money over her. Ike went on to let the viewers know that if Mercy wants to end things with him, she needs to pay him off. Mercy voiced that she feels Ike would leave her once another rich lady comes along and that he might be with her for his own selfish reasons.
Ike urged Mercy to unfollow Willy XO, because he felt this would help their relationship move forward. Once Ike saw Mercy’s reaction to what he had asked her to do, he realized Mercy wasn’t willing to sacrifice for him. Mercy knew Ike asked her to unfollow Willy XO due to comments made by others and she wasn’t going to do it to please them. After a back and forth between the two, Mercy finally gave in then proceeded to re-enter her house slamming the door behind her. She broke down, talking about how she’s hurting but also, she tends not to display her feelings all over social media and she could see how Ike is hurting too.
Ike is back at his house with his cousin, discussing scheduling photoshoots and the situation between him and Mercy. He made it clear to his cousin that he doesn’t want Mercy to have anything to do with Willy XO and he felt he has crossed the line by taking the photograph. He also stated that Mercy needs to handle the situation online before she comes back to him. The conversation concluded with him wanting to focus on what can bring in more revenue.
Mercy had time to reflect on the previous conversation between her and Ike, and she felt that everything is getting worse. Mercy organized a rendezvous with her besties to take her mind off things. Whilst Mercy was getting ready with the help of her personal assistant, she was surprised to receive a phone call from a fan. Mercy made the decision to answer the call and make conversation. During the call, Mercy felt the fan was more interested in the well-being of Ike not her and that the fan’s tone gave off the impression she handled the situation wrong.
Mercy and her besties, Tracy, Mimi and Tara hung out at Landmark beach to discuss personal issues. But before they did, Mercy helped in putting an end to a quarrel between two of her friends because she holds friendship in high regard. Mercy went on to ask the girls what they thought about Ike, and they had a lot to say. Her friends felt Ike is manipulative, he doesn’t fight for Mercy as he should, he doesn’t reciprocate love, he puts Mercy through emotional stress and Tracy even went as far as jokingly saying “What is Ike?”. Mercy lets the viewers know that her friends always want the best for her, and they’ve been through a lot on social media with people showering them with insult and how Ike hasn’t done anything to address that online. Although Ike’s faults were pointed out by her friends, Mercy still defended him by making them aware of how nice he is and the love she has for him.

The heartbroken husband of a London train worker who died from Coronavirus after being spat on by a thug says his world and that of their 11-year-old daughter have been destroyed as he slams her bosses over lack of PPE.
Speaking with The Sun after police interviewed and then released a 57-year-old man following the spitting incident on March 21, Lusamba Katalay originally from Congo revealed how losing Belly Mujinga, 47, has broken his family.
The last time he saw his wife in person was when an ambulance took her from their flat in Hendon, north London. She died two days later at Barnet Hospital.
‘I don’t know how I’d react if I saw the man who did this,’ he said. ‘I’m normally reasonable but I’m so devastated right now I might lose it and attack him, I just don’t know. And my anger won’t bring her back.’
Mr. Katalay, 60, says his wife, a former BBC journalist, pleaded with him from her hospital bed not to let their daughter Ingrid see her as they spoke during their final video call.
‘She told me that she didn’t want Ingrid to see her like that,’ he said. ‘She said, ‘Pray for me’.
‘The next morning I got the call saying she’d died. She was our whole world. She’d do anything for anyone.’

He also demanded an explanation from the Government as to why his late wife had not been given PPE, saying the lack of protective gear also put him and his daughter in ‘mortal danger’.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said on Saturday: ‘A 57-year-old man from London was interviewed under caution last Sunday at a London police station.
‘Detectives are investigating. They’re not looking to identify anyone else.’
