Pope Francis says coronavirus vaccine must be shared worldwide

Leader of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, has called for international scientific cooperation so that every country of the world will benefit from a Coronavirus vaccine when it is made.

The Pope who was speaking from the papal library at the Vatican while delivering his Sunday service address today, said any successful vaccine developed should be made available around the world to benefit all of humanity.

Pope Francis also thanked all those around the world, providing essential services.

“In fact, it is important to unite scientific capabilities, in a transparent and impartial way to find vaccines and treatments,” he said.

”It is also important to guarantee universal access to essential technologies that allow each infected person, in every part of the world, to receive the necessary medical treatment.”

Recall that World leaders pledged in April to accelerate work on tests, drugs and vaccines against the disease and share their findings, but the United States did not take part in the launch of the World Health Organization (WHO) initiative after Trump announced he was halting funds to the WHO over what his administration feels was the agency’s pandering to China.

Coronavirus has infected nearly 3.5 million people and killed more than 240,000 people worldwide.

Billionaire Prophet, Jeremiah Fufeyin Receives Worldwide Accolades for Effective Prophecy, as COVID-19 Lockdown Measures Ease Gradually, across the World.

It is often said that God has placed extraordinary vessels in our midst, and it takes an extraordinary encounter to announce them. Well, the widely venerated Man of God, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, is one of such vessels.

The Billionaire Prophet, 48 year old Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, who is also Founder and Head Prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, has been quite popular in the news and on social media, most recently, for a shocking time-based prophecy, about the COVID-19 pandemic, that has found fruition.

On the 21st of March, 2020, the Billionaire Prophet prophesied that the deadly Coronavirus COVID-19, would meet its end in a month and a week (about thirty seven days), across the world.

He predicted that the virus would gradually disappear across countries, just as it had spread gradually across countries, saying that it would leave “batch by batch”.

He also stressed that in the stated time, the viral disease would start to go down gradually, with nations recording victories and easing their preventive measures. Note that this prophecy came a full week before Nigerians were addressed by the Presidency, and over a week before lockdown measures were enacted in Nigeria.

See video below:

https://youtu.be/jcTTgB8aAn4

It is indeed a wonder to watch a prophecy unfold. A few days before the stipulated time, nations across the world started to record results, as the pandemic loses its virulent grip on humanity. A few examples of the confirmations of the prophecy were;

On April 21, 2020, Swiss authorities announced plans to ease their lockdown measures after recording positive success in managing the pandemic.

On April 21, 2020, a West African country, Mauritiana, was declared COVID-19 free, after recording 6 recoveries and one death.

April 21,2020, Italy, one of the worst hit countries, recorded its lowest number of deaths, since March 19, 2020, and a fall in active cases.

On April 22, 2020, activities resumed in Hamburg- Germany after a long term lockdown, as reported by Prophet Julius O. Egeonu, Head Prophet at World Movers International Church, who could not stop extolling the power of God through the Billionaire Prophet, Jeremiah Fufeyin. Return to school had also been announced, and trade is back in full swing.

There was jubilation on the streets of Dubai as authorities eased almost 2 months lockdown measures, after recording zero COVID- 19 cases in some areas.

Madagascar launched Africa’s first preventive treatment, and effective cure for the COVID-19 disease, “COVID ORGANICS”, and even made it compulsory for school children returning to schools.

On April 27, 2020, President Muhammadu Buhari announced the imminent easing of strict lockdown restrictions in most states in Nigeria.

Amongst many other testimonies across different continents.

Needless to say, the Man of God, Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin is a true prophet of God, speaking as His Father gives him authority.

Pick only passengers with face masks – MC Oluomo to Lagos drivers

Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Lagos State Council, Musiliu Akinsanya (aka MC Oluomo), has instructed Lagos drivers not to pick passengers without face masks.

MC Oluomo directed commercial drivers not to allow passengers without face mask to board their vehicles or they risk getting arrested as the union has set up a Task Force Unit to arrest any driver/union member that violates the guidelines.

He said;

“All passengers MUST put on their face mask. Failure to use it, such passenger should not be allowed into their vehicles.

“Tricycle Owners and Operator’s Association of Nigeria “TOOAN”(Maruwa operators) are to abide by the Lagos state government’s directive of carrying two passengers at a go.

“Drivers and their bus conductors are to ensure the practice of social distancing by operating at 60 per cent loading capacity,”

“Let us all support the efforts of the State government in fighting this pandemic by adhering strictly to the above guidelines and many more that had been given by the authorities.

“It is no longer a news that the whole world is currently fighting a war that is unlike the conventional war. The most challenging thing about this “health war” is that it can not be seen, has no cure yet and is no respecter of social status, age or gender. The number of confirmed cases sadly keep rising locally and globally.

“Sadly, this strange ailment keeps claiming lives of the patients and those treating them. Quite inspiring are some retired medical professionals, who came out of retirement to help save lives, the efforts of the health care workers during this period will forever linger in our hearts. You are all truely our HEROES.

“Our hearts goes out to the families of those lost to this pandemic and to those currently battling to survive the ‘unseen enemy’, we wish them safe and quickest recovery.

” As transporters who convey Lagosians from all walks of life every day to their respective destinations, we understand the value of service delivery in a complex state like ours hence, the need to roll out new guidelines to our members in order to protect them and their esteemed passengers.

“We are using this medium to appeal to all our Union members, drivers in particular, to please strictly follow the directives of the State and Federal governments, National Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) and World Health Organisation(WHO) in order to stop the avoidable spread of the virus.”

Rapper, Dremo drags user who tried to pit him against Ycee

DMW recording artiste and rapper, Dremo didn’t leave room for mercy when he dragged the hell out of a Twitter user who tried to pit him against his colleague, Ycee.

The user had taken to his page to put up a side by side photo of the two artistes and asked that they pick which out of the two, raps better.

The user’s action is one which is quite usual among fans who feel their favourite artiste is better than other people’s favourite artiste, so to settle, they head on to social media for a vote.

However, the impact that this kind of action has on the artistes is usually where the problem is as there tend to be animosity between them as a result of the votes.

But some of the time, some of these artistes come out to talk against actions like this as they ask the fans to respect and appreciate the artistic expression of each artiste and not pitch them against each other.

That’s probably what Dremo was driving at when he responded to the user on Twitter but his savage manner of approach is what has us feeling sorry for the user.

Dremo’s response below,

55 journalists have reportedly died from Coronavirus in 23 countries in the past two months

A press freedom organization has reported that 55 journalists have died worldwide from the novel Coronavirus in the past two months.

The Press Emblem Campaign (PEC), revealed this in a statement ahead of World Press Freedom Day on Sunday.

The organization lamented that media workers often lack proper protection for covering the pandemic and warned that many of them were putting their lives in danger.

Since 1st of March, the PEC said it had recorded the deaths of 55 media workers across 23 countries from the virus, but admitted that it was unclear if all of them had become infected on the job.

“Journalists are at great risk in this health crisis because they must continue to inform, by going to hospitals, interviewing doctors, nurses, political leaders, specialists, scientists, patients,” PEC said in a statement.

It said that in a range of countries “indispensable protective measures” like physical distancing, quarantines, and mask-wearing had not been applied, especially early on in the outbreak.

Ecuador was the hardest-hit country, with at least nine journalists who had succumbed to the virus, followed by the United States, with eight, Brazil with four, and Britain and Spain with three each, it said.

The organization also echoed warnings from the United Nations that the pandemic, which had killed more than 230,000 people out of more than 3.2 million infected worldwide is being used in some countries as an excuse to crackdown on the media.

“Censorship, internet shutdowns, arbitrary detentions of journalists, physical and verbal attacks, and emergency laws that restrict press freedom have occurred in recent weeks,” the PEC said.

It added that this was particularly worrying at a time when access to reliable public information was more vital than ever.

“Transparency is paramount and can be lifesaving in a health crisis,” it said.
