Popular Ghanaian model and actress, Nana Akua Addo, has taken legal action against Nigerian designer Ezinne Olivia, regarding statements made about her AMVCA outfit.
In a cease and desist letter filed by her legal team, Nana demanded a retraction of Ezinne’s alleged defamatory posts about her outfit at the recently concluded AMVCA.
It will be recalled that after the event, Ezinne publicly revealed that she made Nana’s dress, which sparked mixed reactions because Nana didn’t give her credit for the dress, and instead tagged a Ghanaian designer.
However, some netizens doubted Ezinne’s statement and she proceeded to share videos of the process to confirm her claims.
This sparked a significant controversy online, with some Nigerians criticizing Nana for not properly acknowledging Ezinne for her work.
Some even took to Nana’s Instagram page to drag her to filth for seemingly taking advantage of the Nigerian designer.
In a new update, Nana has responded to the allegations through her legal representatives. She clarified that Ezinne was not the original designer of the dress and was only contracted to assemble the piece because her Ghanaian designer couldn’t make it to Nigeria in time for the event.
Nana also disclosed that Ezinne was paid in full for her job and was gifted additional $100 for a job well done. She also claimed that she tagged Ezinne in her post, but Ezinne repprtedly asked for the tag to be removed because she didn’t want to share the recognition with the other stylists who contributed to the outfit.

A 32-year-old Nigerian doctor, Uzochukwu Davis Igboanugo, has tragically passed away in a car accident in the United States of America.
Uzochukwu, the son of popular Igbo businessman Chief I.K.B. Igboanugo, founder of I.K.B Industries Limited, met his untimely demise while driving home from work three weeks ago.
The grieving father, who confirmed the heartbreaking news in a Facebook post on Monday, May 13, 2024, revealed that a drunk driver, who had fallen asleep at the wheel while speeding on the highway, collided with his son’s car.
He fondly described his son as a vibrant and loving individual, highlighting his attributes of being friendly, intelligent and sociable.

“I lost my son 3 weeks ago, I have been crying like a baby. A medical doctor (Ophthalmologist) in America.
An accident victim of a drunkard who fell asleep while speeding on the highway, jumped his lane in the opposite direction and hit with speed force on the driver’s side door where my son was as he was driving home after work.
We can’t question God as He has the final decision.

The Nigerian man who was arrested in Edo state for posting obscene pictures and videos of his three-year-old daughter on social media has revealed the reason for his action.
During interrogation after his arrest on Sunday, May 12th, the man disclosed that he was sharing the contents because he wanted her to become an online celebrity.

Hilarious reactions have trailed a post that was shared on TikTok which recorded a school proprietress complaining about the portion of food a pupil brings to school.
She had sent a voice message to the guardian of the student to reduce the portion of food the child brings to school.
According to her, the quantity of food the child consumes during school hours is too much for a child his age.

A Nigerian man who identifies as @alexlobaloba has shared via X (Twitter) how a lady in the UK who pretended to be a beggar stole from his friend.
Sharing CCTV footage of the scene, he revealed that his friend didn’t expect the incident to happen because he was in the UK.
In the clip, a Caucasian lady was seen moving to his friend’s table with a placard in the restaurant where they were eating.
The lady stylishly placed the placard she was holding on his phone which was on the table and hid it while asking the man for help.
