A Nigerian man identified as @babaoja11 a slams popular filling station at Ikorodu for allegedly charging customers ₦1000, ₦2,500 before selling fuel amid fuel scarcity.

Recall that an unidentified branch of the popular filling station insisted customers must buy meat pie before they can sell fuel to them.

The man exclaimed that the fuel attendants are demanding certain fees depending on the litre of the keg; he noted that customers are mandated to pay N2,500 for 30 litres keg and N1,000 for 10 litres keg.

He captioned,

A Nigerian church has refused to wed a couple few days to their wedding, after finding out that the bride is pregnant.

According to one of the church members who shared the story via X (Twitter) he revealed that the church also suspended the couples.

In his tweet, he stated that the pastor’s wife had blamed him for the actions of the couple because he was the head of the department they were in.

He also requested that internet users suggest to the couples what they would do if they were in their shoes.

News circulating the internet is the sad tale of a four-year-old boy by the name, Miguel Ovoke who choked on the meat on his food during lunch break in Brick Hall School, Abuja.

According to info, the boy had brought food from home containing a big piece of meat which he swallowed or tried to swallow in the course of eating.

As he began to choke, the teacher noticed and called for help. The school tried to get the meat out all to no avail and they rushed him unconscious to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead on arrival.

The deceased boy’s parents cried foul play but a quick look through the school’s CCTV showed that the little boy had indeed choked on his food.

However, the boy’s mother blamed the school for what happened to her child, saying,

“Brick hall school Abuja killed my son. I took him to school that day in good health. The school said my son choked on his food (beef), but they told the doctor to announce that he died in the hospital. Nigerians please help”nbsp;

A protest was staged at the school premises and it was alleged that the school is currently shut down.

Condolences pour for the parents with many advising parents to dice their children’s meat and debone the fish to avoid terrible cases like this.

FUOYE student breaks 150 hours Drum-a-thon Guinness World Record attempt, continue to 200 hours

A 300-level student from the Federal University Oye Ekiti, Olaniyi Israel Adewale Eniola has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest drumming marathon.

Israel started the attempt to break Allister Brown’s 2023 record last week and has broken the existing record of 150 hours.

He went on to drum for two additional days against the stipulated six days, making it a whooping eight days. This would make it 200 hours.

Currently, the FUOYE student is at 183 hours with less than 20 hours more to go against all odds.

Many are impressed by his tenacity, strength, and determination and several celebrities like Woli Agba, Mr. Macaroni, and Goroso Ekiti among others showed their support for him.

Nigerians give their unalloyed support to Israel as his social media handles are flooded with words of encouragement and commendation.

A video shared on the microblogging platform X has sparked an outrage online after a student was captured assaulting her colleague.

The bully could be heard while assaulting the victim and she would make sure she bleeds before letting her go.

According to the recorder who could be heard speaking in the background of the video, both ladies used to be best friends.

They have also been identified as Mass Communication students at Bamidele Olumila University of Education, Science and Technology, Ekiti State.

The victim who goes by the name Ajayi Precious Gloria could be seen begging her oppressors who turned a deaf ear to stop hitting her.

While the victim withdrew into the apartment they lived in, those in the vicinity, refused to separate them while encouraging the bully to continue with her act.

The act has gotten the attention of the majority including the Ekiti State Police Command who shared a Press Release via their page on X (Twitter).

In their Press Release, they pleaded with netizens to remain calm while they carried out an investigation.

It read;

“This is to inform the general public especially all concerned citizens and good people of Ekiti State that the State Police Command is not unaware of a video circulating currently on the social media where a female student of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti(BOUESTI) was seen assaulting and molesting her fellow female student. The Command describes the act as inhumane and unacceptable. The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Akinwale Kunle Adeniran, mni, has therefore, ordered a discreet investigation into the incident as he has already directed Ikere Area Commander to liaise with the Management of the Institution and ensure the perpetrator is identified investigated and made to face the legal consequence(s) of her barbaric action. Meanwhile, members of the public are implored to be calm and avoid taking laws into their hands as necessary action is underway.”

A Caucasian vlogger who identifies as @harryjagard has shared a video on his Instagram page that captured the moment an Agbero tried to extort money.

The British Youtuber who had been touring different places in Nigeria for quite some time now almost got scammed at the market.

As shown in the video, a young man approached the Vlogger while he was touring the market, with claims that he was the chairman of this area.

He also added that, before the Youtuber is allowed to film in this area, he needs to settle him financially.

Harry however did not believe him as he requested to see his ID card, or something which points to him being the chairman of the marketplace.

Unable to provide the ID card, the tour guide who accompanied Harry, asked that he ignore the tout and they continued with their journey.

The video sparked outrage online, while many condemned the tout who approached the vlogger, others accused him of putting Nigerians in a bad light.
