MC Macaroni who is popularly known for his comedy skits on social media was filled with joy when he met the award winning singer for the first time in his life.
The actor shared a video of the memorable time with fans on his Instagram Page as he could be seen in the video prostrating for Dbanj.

Former Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has called for the reform of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), days after a Remo Stars player identified as Kazeem Tiyamiyu (Kaka) was allegedly killed by some operatives of the security outfit deployed to Sagamu-Abeokuta road.
In his tweet, the former Vice President stated that the reform of the Nigeria Police especially the SARS unit, is long overdue. He added that the police was created to protect the life and property of citizens and not to put them into harms way.

Controversial Socialite, Pretty Mike of Lagos, recently took to his social media page to drop a thought-provoking message.
According to the post he shared, the socialite is of the opinion that Beautiful ladies should be shared among men as she cannot possibly be meant for just one man.

A group, Advocacy for Alleged Witches (AFAW) has said that witchcraft does not exist and it is a myth.
In an interview with PM news, the leader of the group, Leo Igwe, said the act of killing women and children on suspection that they are witches is barbaric and must be stopped. He added that witchcraft and other forms of harms believed to have been caused by occultic activities, are based on hearsay and misinformation, panic and anxieties, fear and superstition.
“AFAW uses a secular, humanist, skeptical and human rights approach to examine witchcraft narratives and address related abuses. Our campaign is founded on the principles that witchcraft is a myth and an imaginary crime which no one commits.
“It is founded in the principles that attributions or causing harm through occult means are based on hearsay and misinformation, panic and anxieties, fear and superstition.
“Witch persecution, killings and trials are forms of human rights abuses that should not be tolerated in the name of religion, culture or tradition. I urge all Africans as well as none Africans, including all Africans in the diaspora to join efforts with us to achieve this important objective,” Igwe said
There was a hive of activity at Old Trafford in late January as they hurried to negotiate and then finalise the paperwork on their latest signing. This would turn out to be Odion Ighalo, who is joining United on loan from the Chinese team Shanghai Shenhua until the end of the season.
Ighalo later admitted that he took a pay cut to get the opportunity to play for the Red Devils, who he has been a supporter of his entire life. While it may be the dream opportunity for the Nigerian striker, is his presence in the United squad going to help them resolve their problems?
A Bad Season
Having slipped down the table in recent weeks, United are now 6th favourite to make it into the Premier League’s top 4 this season. They had been sitting in the middle of the table going into the winter break, but have since climbed back up to 7th.
Competing for a top 4 space is an unusual place for United to be, given that they are the most successful club in the Premier League. Yet this year, it seems like it may be a struggle for them to even get a place in the Europa League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not had a good run this year, with less than two thirds of the goals scored by table topping Liverpool, and twice as many put in the United net. This has left them with a goal difference of just 9, on par with 5th place Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Liverpool player, Jamie Carragher, predicted this problem in October when he told Sky Sports that United have a weakness up front.
Can Ighalo Help Ease the Woes?
Things didn’t get off to a great start for the Nigerian, who was left in the UK while the other United players headed to Malaga for some training in the warmer weather. Unfortunately, Ighalo was left in the UK as club officials had been concerned he would be denied re-entry to the country due to his time spent in China. He was able to play in the game against Chelsea though.
Ighalo is a proven goalscorer. During his time in China, he scored 36 goals from 55 appearances with Changchun Yatai and 10 goals from 17 while at Shanghai Shenhua. He also managed 33 from 82 while playing for Watford between 2014 and 2017. Ighalo was also the top scorer in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. Success at Old Trafford will rely on his ability to replicate and build on this performance for United.
During the game against Chelsea on 17th February, Ighalo spent the full 90 minutes on the bench, but was brought on in stoppage time. With just 5 minutes of gameplay, Ighalo managed a shot at goal from the centre of the box, but it was saved by Chelsea’s keepers Willy Caballero.
A goal in his debut game would have been an even bigger dream come true for Ighalo, who would have had a psychological boost from it. That said, he shouldn’t be too disheartened given that he managed an attempt in the short time he had on the pitch.
It’s still too early to tell whether Ighalo will play a major role in turning the tide for Untied, but the early signs have been promising.
A Long Term Solution?
Ighalo is currently only on loan to United until the end of the season. However Solskjaer has hinted at the possibility of retaining him permanently if he manages to impress over the coming weeks.
It will therefore be up to Ighalo to grasp every opportunity he’s given and knock as many goals in as he can. Motivation doesn’t seem to be a problem for him, and he has also demonstrated that he has the talent. The key will be pulling it all together, and being able to work with the others in the squad to get the job done.
The job might also be a little easier for Ighalo and United, as the Top 5 might be enough. With Manchester City receiving a ban from UEFA tournaments, it is likely that the 5th place team will be making it to the Champions League next year.
The Nasarawa Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), has arrested a 26-year-old man for attempting to kill his biological mother in Lafia, the state’s capital.
Parading the suspect identified as Kamaldin Abu Sabo before newsmen, the State’s NSCDC commandant, Mahmud Gidado Fari said he threatened to kill his mother on numerous occassions.
Fari added;
“That is why we have arrested him and would soon charge him to court. It is wrong for anybody to say that he would kill another person. What makes this case different is that she is his biological mother”
The suspect who denied the allegation against him, accused him elder brother of reporting him to the agency.
Kamaldin said;
“I am living on Shendam Road in Lafia. I dropped out from Government College Keffi. I am a Tailor and did not attempt to kill my biological mother. And I did not agree with the statement of the NSCDC that my mother reported me; it was my elder brother who reported me to the NSCDC.
“I had the tattoo because of the fancy I have for it, but I am not a cultist.”
He however couldn’t explain why he had many scars on his face and body.
A Twitter user took to the platform to say that any guy who doesn’t give his girlfriend “daily pocket money and weekly allowances” shouldn’t be having a girlfriend in the first place.
He tweeted:
“If you’re a guy, and you don’t give your girlfriend daily pocket money and weekly allowances… at least 200k weekly, you don’t need a girlfriend .. go and work. You don’t deserve that girl bro. No cap.”
His tweet was met with criticisms from his followers and other Twitter users.
Ghanaian actress, Grace Omaboe has stated that any man who washes panties of his wife is cursed and it’ll be very difficult for such man to achieve success in life.
Mrs Omaboe made this revelation in an interview with Arnold Elavanyo Mensah on Vibes In 5 as she warned young men against washing female panties, an act she claims has curses attached to it.
According to Grace Omaboe, if she ever sees her son washing the panties of his wife, she would hit him in the face.
The actress backed her claim with the Bible in the interview with Vibes in Five, stated that the scriptures was clear on men being the head of the family, hence why they shouldn’t stoop so low in washing panties. She said;
“No, No, it will be hard luck on the man if he washes his wife’s underpants and everything of the man will go bad.

The memorial service for Kobe Brayant and his daughter Gianna is currently holding at Staples Center with thousands of people in attendance including famous celebrities.
The NBA legend, 41, with his 13-year-old daughter tragically died along with seven others when the helicopter they were travelling in crashed near Calabasas, California on Sunday, Jan. 26th.
They were on their way to basketball practice when the helicopter they were in crashed, killing everyone on board.
Vanessa Bryant has paid an emotional tribute to her late husband Kobe and daughter Gianna at their memorial service.
Speaking on Monday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Vanessa who fought back tears started by thanking the crowd before mourning the loss of her daughter.
In her words ;
“Thank you so much for being here. It means so much to us, the outpouring of love and support from around the world has been so uplifting,” she said before sharing memories first of Gianna. “My baby girl, Gianna Bryant, is an amazingly sweet and gentle soul, she would kiss me every morning and every night.”
“She was daddy’s girl but I know she loved mama, and she would always show me and tell me how much she loved me,” she continued. “She was one of my very best friends.”
“Her smile took up her entire face, like mine,” she said. “Kobe always said she was me she had my fire, my personality… she was tender and loving on the inside. She had the best laugh, it was infectious, it was pure and genuine. Kobe and Gianna naturally gravitated toward each other.”
“She was a nice person, a leader, a teacher … she gave the best hugs and kisses,” she remembered, fighting back tears. ” … I miss looking at her beautiful face.”
“I won’t be able to see her go to high school with [sister] Natalia, I won’t be able to see her walk down the aisle,” she continued, breaking down in tears. “Or have a father daughter-dance with her daddy and have babies of her own. Gianna would’ve been an amazing mommy. … She probably would have been the best player in the WNBA. She would have made a huge difference in the way women are viewed in sports.”
She also emotionally remembered her late husband, Kobe.
“Now for my soulmate. Kobe was known for being a fierce competitor on the basketball court, the greatest of all time, a writer, and Oscar winner and the Black Mamba, but to me, he was Kob-Kob, my boo-boo, may bae-boo, my papi-chulo,” she said through tears.
“I was his vee-bee, his principesa, his reina, his queen mamba. I couldn’t see him as a celebrity, nor as an incredible basketball player, he was my sweet husband and the beautiful father of our children. He was mine. He was my everything.
Kobe and I have been together since I was 17 and a half years old. I was his first girlfriend, his first love, his wife, his best friend, his confidant and his protector. He was the most amazing husband. Kobe loved me more than I could ever express or put into words.”
“He happily did carpool, he was a doting father, he was a father that was hands-on and present,” she shared. “He shared a love of movies and the break-down of films with Natalia. He loves your typical tear-jerkers, Steel Magnolias, Little Women … he had a tender heart.”
“I want my daughters to remember the amazing husband and father he was,” she said. “… He also liked working on projects to improve people’s lives.”
Vanessa broke down in tears when she talked about Kobe and Gianna dying together.
“God knew they couldn’t be on this earth without each other,” she said. “He had to bring them home to him together. Babe, you take care of our Gigi. I got Natalia, Bianka and Capri. We’re still the best team. We love and miss you boo-boo and Gigi. May you both rest in peace and have fun in heaven. Until we meet again, we love and miss you forever and always.”
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has warned Nigerians against taking cup of tea popularly known as `Maishayi’ from vendors.
Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, NAFDAC Director-General gave the warning in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in #Abuja.
Adeyeye said that the warning became necessary following information the agency received that Maishayi now mix intoxicating drugs in the tea prepared for customers.
She mentioned intoxicating drugs such as tramadol, Vieteling, Marijuana and others, adding that people could lose their lives after taking tea mixed with such drugs.
“In the US, lots of people are dying because of these medicines. How can such medicines mix with palm wine in the name of getting high in Nigeria? There are some medicines you cannot take if you have cardiovascular problem,’’ she said.

In the lawuit obatained by TMZ, it was alleged that Island Express was only allowed to fly under visual flight rules, and the conditions the day of the crash were not conducive for such flying.
The lawsuit also says the pilot was going 180 miles per hour in the heavy fog in a steep decline.
The lawsuit claims the pilot failed to properly monitor and assess the weather prior to takeoff, failed to obtain proper weather data prior to the flight, failed to abort the flight when he knew of the cloudy condition, failed to maintain control of the helicopter and failed to avoid “natural obstacles” in the flight path.
The lawsuit also says the pilot, Ara George Zobayan, was disciplined in 2015 for violating the visual flight rule minimums by flying into an airspace of reduced visibility.
The lawsuit also claims the helicopter was not safe, although it doesn’t say what was unsafe. It could be the basis for the claim is that the helicopter was not certified to fly in bad weather.
According to TMZ, the lawsuit does not list an amount of damages sought, but Vanessa is asking for punitive damages, claiming the pilot and Island Express were reckless, and the damages could be untold millions.
Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed, has reacted to the killing of Kazeem Tiyamu, a player with the Remo stars Football club, after a faceoff with SARS official in Ogun state on Saturday February 22nd.
A statement released on the force’s verified Twitter handle, says the IGP has ordered the DIG in-charge of the FCID, DIG Anthony Ogbizi to with immediate effect, take over investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of Kazeem.

While Nigerian singer Teni was holding her Billionaire concert in London over the weekend, a man decided to propose to his girlfriend in a very romantic way.

Nigerians have gone on Twitter to express outrage following reports that at least one protester was shot dead by police and many were injured when Sagamu residents took to the streets to protest SARS brutality.
The citizens came out en masse to protest following the death of footballer Kazeem Tiamiyu, aka “Kaka”, who was killed by a SARS official.
According to reports, SARS operatives allegedly seized Kaka from his car and labelled him an Internet fraudster (Yahoo boy), before shooting him dead.

Kaka’s death led to an outrage and the Ogun State governor, Dr Dapo Abiodun revealed on Twitter that he has instructed the “commissioner of police to ensure that culprit gets arrested & brought to book accordingly.”
He added: “As at this morning, I can confirm that the perpetrator has since been arrested, as directed by me.”
The Ogun State governor’s assurance that the perpetrator has been arrested did not appease angry residents. They took to the streets to protest the killings and this led to more rounds of violence as police opened fire on protesters, killing at least one person and causing injury to others.
Some claim more than one person was killed in the protest.

The media girl was seen having dinner with her friends in the video she shared. The three women were heard discussing the viral story. It was claimed that Ronaldo gives his girlfriend $100,000 (N36,000,000) as a monthly allowance.
Makinwa expressed shock about the story, asking why she does not get that kind of treatment. The media girl noted that even though she works hard she does not mind getting 100k from a man monthly.

The world’s oldest dad has died in a house fire at the age of 104.
Indian former wrestler and farmer, Ramjeet Ragav made major headlines in 2010 when he welcomed his first son at 94 and again when he broke his own record two years later by welcoming another son at the age of 96.
Mr. Ramjeet died in hospital after suffering severe burns during the blaze on Tuesday last week at his home in Kharkhoda, near New Dehli.
A neighbour Subodh who went to help him after hearing his cries for help said: ‘I saw smoke coming from his home and then I heard him calling for help. I ran over and saw him lying on the floor on fire.
‘I splashed water on him and helped him to my vehicle before I took him straight to the local hospital.
“Doctors gave him immediate treatment. His left side was badly burnt. But the doctors there referred him to another hospital in Rohtak so I took him and admitted him before I went home.
“The following day I was told he had died.”

A woman who reportedly died at the age of 130 was buried on Saturday, February 22, in Nsadop, Boki Local Government Area of Cross River state.

Abuja-based lawyer, Firsts Baba Isa has debunked claims by his learned colleague that 4000 divorce applications have already been filed in 2020 in Abuja
Recall that a lawyer, Annebrefa, made the claim on Twitter last Friday, adding that some of the marriages involved were just a year old. Read here
However, Barr. Firsts Baba Isa described the claim as a “lie from the pit of hell” adding that the total number of all cases including divorce filed at the FCT High Court since the beginning of 2020 is not even up to 2000.

Immediately I saw this tweet, I knew it was a big fat lie. But I still called the appropriate authorities to confirm, it is a lie from the pit of hell.
I don’t know why anyone will put up such a lie out there. But if the purpose is to get people to bash marriage and lose faith in the institution, I think they have succeeded, a lot; see how a massive lie has gone viral. Even those who should know better have been broadcasting this falsehood.

The total number of cases (all cases o, not just divorce) filed at the FCT High Court since the beginning of 2020 is not even up to 2000, yet. So where did she get her figures from? And note that the High Court is the Court that has jurisdiction to entertain divorce proceedings for marriages contracted under the Act (Court Marriage).
Though other inferior courts like the Customary Court have jurisdiction to entertain divorce proceedings for marriages contracted traditionally, but only a negligible number go there for divorce proceedings. So where did she get her 4000 figure?
How many couples dey this our Abuja sef?
Another crazy angle of this lie is that some of these marriages are less than a year old. In law, you can’t bring a divorce proceeding to dissolve a marriage that is less than 2 years old, unless you satisfy some stringent conditions to get the permission of the court.
And less-than-a-year-old marriages have satisfied these conditions and gotten the permission of court to commence divorcé proceedings in two months? Mtcheew.

Taking to Facebook on Sunday, Mis Diamond shared photos of herself hawking satchet water and said that she prefers doing such jobs than sleeping with men for money.

I go to the market every Friday evening, Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon after church , i enjoy doing it since i do get money for one or two text books in 2 days. I prefer doing this than sleeping with men for money Yes I slay but guess what is pure water business. I sell almost 7 or 8 bags a day depending on the lucky day . I’m a mass communication student. Sometimes my friends will be like “babe this pure water business no fit u o” I smile and tell them I love it. I’m a Nigerian writer too, I have two novels and one drama I have published already but due to money issue I couldn’t make lots of copies.
