Odion Ighalo banned from Manchester United training ground over coronavirus fears

Odion Ighalo banned

Odion Ighalo has been banned from Manchester United’s training ground over fears of a potential coronavirus risk.

Recall the Nigerian international traveled from China, though not from Wuhan where the virus originated, to the UK to seal his move from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua until the end of the season.

The former Watford striker who has been working with a personal trainer at a separate location in Manchester was instructed to train away from United’s AON Training Complex for health and safety issues.

The 30-year-old did not also travel with the United squad to a warm-weather training camp in Spain, which was down to concerns border restrictions as it would have affected his re-entry to the UK from Spain.

According to Mirror, United decided to take the precautionary decision to make Ighalo train away from the club’s Carrington base over his mandated 14-day incubation period.

Explaining Ighalo’s absence from the warm-weather training camp, Solskjaer said: “Odion will stay in Manchester, because since he has come from China in the last 14 days, the news of the virus there means we’re not sure if he’s going to be allowed back into England if he leaves the country again.

“So he’s staying here working with a personal coach on an individual programme and his family then can settle in England as well. That’s a plus.

“Of course, he might have liked to have come with the players and got to know them, but we don’t want to take that risk [of potential border restrictions tightening].”

The United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already confirmed that Ighalo will travel with the squad to Stamford Bridge and is expected to make his debut against Chelsea next week.

If your partner moans during sex it’s a sin, take them to pastor for deliverance – Newly married man says

A newly married man has said it is a sin for a man or woman to moan during sexual intercourse. He added that the first time his wife tried it, he took her for deliverance and now all she does is ”hum hymns” during sex.

Facebook user, Uzor Obinna Marvelous, who got married in January this year, said it is “wrong and ungodly” for Christian couples to moan during sex.

He said men do not like it when women do it. He added that moaning shows how “depraved” a woman is. As for the men who moan, he said it’s a sign they’ve been visiting sex workers.

He added that any woman who calls the name of God or Jesus during sex or speaks in tongues should be sent to jail.

Read his post below ;

Moaning During S*xual intercourse is Bad For Christian Couples.
This article is strictly for Christian women who moan during conjugation. This is very wrong and ungodly.

Godly women don’t moan during sexual intercourse. Most men don’t like it, especially when it is so loud. And some detest even the mildest of it. It shows how depraved the woman is. It is a very clear symptom of carnality and a sign of lack of self-control.

About a decade ago during one of John Hagee sermons, he concluded by saying that women who call the name of God during such an act should be sent to jail. Some even scream the name of Jesus and speak in tongues. Too bad.

I heard of a story about how a woman and her granddaughter spent the first wedding night with a newly married couple. The screaming was so loud and disgusting in the dead of the night.

The little girl of seven woke up and asked grandma why aunty was crying and making so much noise. The grandma was very polite with her response. “They are making babies,” she told her and asked her to go back to sleep.

The first time my wife did that I was shocked. I had to take her for deliverance from the spirit of lust and moaning. Since then she reduced the tempo of the moaning but hummed hymns silently. Amazing Grace is her favourite.

There was another scenario that happened where I lived about 2 years ago at Ajegunle. This couple had five children.

The midnight moaning usually starts with a loud shout in Ibibio language. Then singing follows almost immediately. The next thing you will hear is the man thick baritone voice shouting What! in English.

She will then reply with curses and the man will be replying Amen. She will be raining curses on whoever will take away honey from her mouth.

What honey my brethren? It got to a point that the landlord had to intervene. He had been awake from 2 am to 4 am. The weather was very hot too and the mosquitoes had a party.

The old man knocked their door in their one-room apartment and there was silence. Then the man appears in wrapper and topless with heavy sweat drops cascading his face and chest.

They both stared at each other for a while before the old man broke the silence. He pleaded that the man should get another apartment before the end of the month that his house is not a brothel. How can a woman with five children be behaving like that?

The man replied that he was not owing and that he was enjoying his money.

The remaining tenants threatened to call in the police any time this couple keeps them awake at night.

They had to induce their children with drugs so that they will not know what was happening in the night.

Men don’t moan. Even when they woman is at the top you cannot hear it. Any man who moans loudly must have been visiting prostitutes who taught him. It is sinful for men to moan during sexual activities. It’s a sign of weakness and carnality.

What does a couple stand to gain by moaning during s*xual intercourse? One medical lady was addressing a group of women in a church. She encouraged them to moan loudly during s*xual intercourse with their spouse. She told them that it assists the man to reach the mountain top.

Secondly, is the quality of babies that would be produced. They will be normal children and endowed with high intelligent quotient (IQ).she said and I almost cursed her that women who don’t moan give birth to imbeciles. What arrant nonsense. In a sane society, she ought to be arrested.

This goes to show how carnal and depraved some Christians can be. Report your spouse to your pastor for prayers if he or she moans during s*xual intercourse……To Be Continue

Youth Empowerment: Fidelity Bank, Gazelle Academy Train 200 Undergraduates In Sokoto

Unswerving in its quest to create a veritable platform for building an entrepreneurial spirit in the country’s teeming youths, Fidelity Bank Plc has expanded the scope of the Fidelity Youth Empowerment Academy (YEA) in a bid to accommodate new areas of vocational training.

On February 10, 2020, the bank in strategic partnership with Gazelle Academy commenced the seventh edition of the highly successful YEA at the Sokoto State University (SSU), Sokoto. Apart from the typical training on tailoring and make-up, participants will also be provided with requisite skills and first-hand knowledge in Fashion Designing, Cloth Embellishment, Cocktail and Phone Engineering among others.

Over 200 undergraduates of Sokoto State University (SSU) will benefit from this programme. So, why does the bank invest in young people? When the Fidelity Bank says, “turn your passion into a pay cheque”, that’s a message of empowerment. As a bank, it recognises that the youth look at the world with fresh eyes and such lively determination, and create much-needed change by throwing convention out the window.

That’s why the bank, through its laudable interventions, continues to develop innovative programmes that unleash the creative energies of Nigerian youths which in turn represents formidable new frontiers for sustainable national development, says Fidelity Bank MD, Nnamdi Okonkwo.

YEA is a skills acquisition, training and productivity improvement scheme targeted at youths, especially undergraduates in Nigeria’s higher institutions. This empowerment programme, which is part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, is primarily targeted at creating a new breed of entrepreneurs amongst Nigeria’s boisterous youth population.

Over 3,000 students have benefited from YEA programs at University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Waziri Umar Federal Polytechnic, Birnin-Kebbi; Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State; Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt; Bayero University, Kano and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Some beneficiaries who have since started their own businesses were recognized at the event. Fidelity Bank has also provided students with high-quality sewing machines, pressing irons and make-up kits to make sure that undergraduates utilise the skills and experiences garnered at the youth empowerment workshop to improve their lives before and after graduation.

In essence, the Bank has succeeded in making entrepreneurs out of students who will be financially responsible and independent. Through this programme, the Bank has earned a significant measure of goodwill with state and local governments that have in some cases translated to a business relationships and have contributed to the Bank’s bottom line.

You can follow the @FidelityBankPlc on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more updates on this programme and other unique initiatives.

It’s unfortunate that the headline for an interview a woman grants is always about her marital status – Beverly Naya

Beverly Naya has reacted to the headline used in a recent interview she granted, stating that ‘it’s unfortunate that when a woman grants an interview in this part of the world, the headline is almost always about about her marital status or opinions on marriage.’

The actress stated that in spite of spending a better part of her time talking about her life, career and aspirations, the focal point is always “marriage”.

Beverly tweeted;

Quite unfortunate that when a woman grants an interview in this part of the world, the headline is almost always about about her marital status or opinions on marriage. You’ll spend 30 mins talking about your life, career and aspirations only to have ‘marriage’ be the focus. Wow.

Most common headlines used for women:

‘Why I’ve chosen not to get married’

‘Why I’m still not married’

‘The kind of man I want to marry’

‘The right man hasn’t found me’

‘I will marry when God says I should’

‘I will get married when the right man finds me’

The day my husband slapped me for the first time – Mercy Aigbe

Mercy Aigbe

Actress, business woman and mum of two, Mercy Aigbe has recounted her bitter experience in the hands of her former husband, Lanre Gentry.

The actress made this known while recently addressing her fans in her newly opened Youtube channel.

The actress who in 2018, got separated from Gentry on grounds of domestic violence, disclosed thus:

“The first time the slap came, it felt like I was dreaming. I wasn’t expecting it and I was shocked beyond words. I didn’t know it was going to happen but it happened. The begging would then come after that. Once a man raises his hand to hit you, he is going to do it over and again. However, because it was my second attempt (at marriage), I was ready to make it work, even with all the violence. I was there hoping and praying. I just wanted a happy home.

“The incident that broke the camel’s back was the one where I almost died. The beating was horrible. People often say actresses don’t want to remain married. Who told them that? (You think) being a celebrity doesn’t make me human? Does (being a celebrity) mean I don’t want to have a happy home? They say actresses are promiscuous but promiscuity is not (the exclusive preserve of) any profession. When mine (break-up) happened, it wasn’t easy because I am a celebrity. I read a lot of things online. Some people even said I made it up. But, nobody can dictate to me how to live my life.”

Encouraging women to speak up when they are assaulted by their husbands. Mercy who recently released a movie titled, ‘Victims’, which has domestic violence as its theme, further said, “I have been through domestic violence and I came out strong. I would love to see the end of domestic violence in society. It wasn’t easy for me because society always shames one. Everybody believes if one is experiencing domestic violence, one has to be patient as a woman and take it all to remain in one’s husband’s house. A lot of people have lost their lives as a result of domestic violence. And religion is not helping. An assaulted woman could go to her pastor and the cleric would say, ‘Oh madam, you need to keep praying’. Is it until she loses her life?”

Speed Darlington laments over high cost of living in Nigeria

speed darlington laments video

Nigerian Singer and internet sensation, Speed Darlington has lamented over the high cost of living in Lagos, Nigeria.

The singer who left the country 18 years ago for greener pastures in the US returned to support his foe turned friend, Zlatan.

After delivering a superb performance at the “Bolanle” crooner’s show, he decided to extend his stay in Nigeria to reconnect with his roots.

However, the singer had difficulties adjusting to living the Nigerian way as he was always caught up in nasty scandals and this made him leave the country.

He took to his Instagram page to finally share his reason for leaving the country. According to him, he won’t be moving to Lagos if he ever decides to relocate back to Nigeria.

He wrote:

“Honestly I don’t know what I’m doing in Lagos maybe I should live in Benin City or Calabar where life is much cheaper and I can get to the capital within 10 hours of driving. With 2 million naira in Calabar i can have a very nice place with a maid.

Six weeks in Lagos I only got two jobs that’s not a lot. I don’t have plans of getting married right now but i want a child, outside Lagos, is my best bet.”
