Nigerian Singer and African Giant, Burna Boy has withdrawn from the Africa Unite Concert scheduled to hold in South Africa.
According to various reports, Burna Boy most certainly won’t be performing in Mzansi.
Following extensive engagement with Burna Boy’s management team, Phambili Media and Play Network have decided to withdraw Burna Boy from the “Africans Unite” concert.
As a result, both legs of the concert which were set to take place on the November 23 at Hillcrest Quarry, Cape Town and November 24 at Sun Arena, Pretoria have now been cancelled.
According to a statement from Phambili Media, the decision to cancel the Africans Unite Concert comes after the call from the Tshwane Entertainment Collective to boycott the “Africans Unite”concert in Tshwane.
The statement reads ;
“With the increasing threats of violence from other unfortunate segments of the public and without any government intervention, Phambili Media and Play Network Africa were prompted to take the threats and warnings seriously, as the safety of all artists and attendees could not be guaranteed. We then decided to cancel the concert. The safety of all attendees, artists and crew comes first”.
“We do, however, stand behind our decision for the initial inclusion of Burna Boy in the Africans Unite Concert line-up. As one of artists at the centre stage of the xenophobic attacks uproar, we saw fit to engage him to be a part of the Africans Unite campaign that aims to ultimately change the current negative narrative to that of solidarity and unity. It seems we have failed in this regard”.

A female bank customer reportedly used her teeth on a man because he objected when she jumped the queue at an ATM.
Twitter user @hrh_tumi shared a photo of the bite mark on his hand and revealed that it happened at a bank in Egbe.
Tumi said he refused to let the woman use the ATM after she jumped the queue so she turned violent.

That Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh was arrested by Dubai security agents is no longer news. She was also alleged to have been deported to Nigeria.
But Tonto Dikeh isn’t in Nigeria yet.
The beautiful mother of one is still being held in Dubai Detention cell for further investigation.
Though nothing has been officially heard from Tonto on social media except for some few postings from her best friend, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky, its obvious the friends (Tonto and Bobrisky) are trying very hard to cover up their tracks.
Tonto was arrested over the weekend when she attended an event in Dubai. She was denied entry by security personnel and she called them untoward names.
She was said to have spent the night in prison.
Tonto, who was in Dubai to attend the One Africa Music Fest and Bamteddy wedding, could no longer attend these events since she was in detention.
Detention since Friday?
“Yes, she hasn’t been released but still in detention,” a source close to the Nollywood actress told Kemi Ashefon.
But Tonto released a video debunking any news of detention or deportation through Bobrisky.
Sources explained further:
First, Tonto is not the type to use that kind of video to debunk allegations of detention and deportation.
She would have used a more beautiful background wearing gorgeous clothes and displaying affluence.
That was a damage control video she shared through Bobrisky. Tonto was looking like a tart! She wasn’t wearing make-up and looking like a prisoner in one small room! Anyways, in the video, there was no address about or her arrest. The Tonto we knew would have tore whoever wrote that story into shreds.

Apparently, two students of the institution thought it wise to film their ‘coitus session’ and the video found it’s way to the internet and it has since gone viral.
Various reactions, theories and condemnation have trailed the release of the trending video but one can’t exactly point at the truth of the whole story.
Well here’s the true story…
An anonymous social media user said the video is actually an old video and the particular guy in the sex tape is no longer a student as he’d been expelled from the university since last semester..
It was further revealed that the boy is a drug abuser and had checked into rehab where the girl paid a visit to him.
It was during this particular visit that they had the sexual intercourse.
“Please keep me anonymous. The video is not a current video. The guy in the video is no more a student of Babcock. He has been expelled since last semester.”
“He got expelled prior to drug abuse and malpractice last semester. So he was taken to a rehab by the school.”

Tottenham have confirmed the appointment of Jose Mourinho as their new manager on a contract that runs until 2023.

A final year Business and Finance student of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra state, identified as Chioma Anachulam, has died alongside her boyfriend, De Young, due to generator fumes.
The duo were found dead in a friend’s room off-campus on Sunday morning, five days before her final paper this Friday.
De Young had paid her a visit in school on Saturday, November 16, 2019, and they decided to pass the night in the room of a friend.
The friend excused them, only to return to meet Chioma dead and the boyfriend unconscious.
Chioma’s body was swollen and her tongue was sticking out of her mouth. Her skin colour had already changed.
They were both rushed to ‘Chiononso Hospital’ where it was revealed that Chioma, who is from Nnewi, had been dead for at least 6 hours but De Young was still alive, though unconscious.
People were hoping for his recovery so he would explain what had happened. Sadly, he eventually passed on too.
Emmanuel Adedeji Oluwatosin, an FBI-wanted scammer was convicted on Tuesday, November 19th by Justice M S. Sifawa of the Sokoto State High court sitting in Sokoto, over $150,000 internet fraud.
Upon arraignment, Adedeji pleaded guilty to the charge. In view of the defendant’s plea, the prosecuting counsel, Musa. Mela Gwani asked the court to convict and sentence the defendant.
The charge reads, “that you Adedeji Emmanuel Oluwatosin, sometime between January and July 2019 at Sokoto within the jurisdiction of the Sokoto State High Court did steal the sum of $150, 000.00 (One Hundred and fifty Thousand Dollars) through wire funds transfer from multiple foreign victims by fraudulent intrusion into their retirement accounts domiciled in United States of America via internet and transferred the said sums into fraudulent business accounts created by you and you withdrew the said funds through ATM Cards and cashier cheques and you thereby committed the offence of Theft contrary to Section 274 of the Sokoto State Penal Code Law 2019 and punishable under Section 275 of the same Law”.
However, the defence counsel, Shamsu A. Dauda, pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy as his client was a first time offender who has become remorseful. He also told the court that the convict is ready to restitute the victims by forfeiting his home in Kaduna and two Mercedes Benz cars (Models C550e and C450) to the victims.
Justice Sifawa, thereafter convicted and sentenced the defendant to two (2) years imprisonment with option of Two Million Naira (N2, 000,000.00) fine. He ordered the convict to restitute the victims by forfeiting the proceeds of the said crime: a residential apartment situated at No17/19 Seamans Street, Maigero, Kaduna State and two Mercedes Benz Models C550e and C450 respectively through Asset Forfeiture Unit of the EFCC for disposal and return of the proceeds to the victims of the offence through the US Legal Attaché in Nigeria.
The convict’s journey to prison started on the 29th of August, 2019 when he was arrested in Kaduna at Unguwan Maigero in a luxury apartment, following intelligence by US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on his involvement in internet scams. Items recovered from the residence included two cars (Mercedes Benz C550e, Mercedes Benz C450), an IPhone, laptops, a modem and SIM cards. Wilson Uwujaren

Apparently, trouble started with the Woman’s daughter was turned back because she fixed artificial ‘eyelashes’.
The woman would however, not allow that to happen hence a confrontation started and it also got physical.
An Instagram user, @seunoloketuyi, who shared the video wrote ;
Queens College student being supported by her mother for indecent dressing. You can see her eye lashes, the security men stopped her and the mother resorted to manhandling the security man and others that didn’t support her.
