A video of a Nigerian bride being walked down the aisle in an outdoor ceremony has gone viral on social media. However, while most brides often stay focused in that moment, this wasn’t the case with this bride.
The bride had the time to show her savage side when she responded to her friend who was gushing over how beautiful she looked as she walked down the aisle. Rather than blush and keep it moving, this bride decided to throw a playful jab at her friend.
In the video which has since gone viral on social media, the friend can be heard saying she has goose bumps just looking at her friend walking down the aisle.
The bride in turn replies: “Go and get a boyfriend before goose bumps kills you”
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, (JAMB), has announced plans to deploy drone cameras to 700 identified examination centres to track down irregular activities during exams including malpractices.
The Board’s Registra, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, made this known during the second day of meeting with Computer Based Test (CBT) centres operators with the States coordinators of the Board, financial institutions and internet service providers in Zaria, Kaduna State on Thursday, December 19.
He was addressing CBT centres operators about their investments with the board when he revealed there are on going plans to deploy drone cameras to all the identified 700 examination centres.
According to him: “You have nothing to fear and you should know that, if you put your investments together, it can’t be up to N20bn and we have accrued N20bn in three years as an agency.
“As Agency of government, we have to ensure that small and medium scale businesses strive and if you multiply 11 staff by 700, you will know better. We are also adding value to the economy and job creation out of your employment market and we will continue to support you once you are doing your work well.”
To check registration and examination scandals, the Registrar directed that “all CCTV must be wired, all camera must cover verification areas, coding areas, walk ways, examination hall, server room and entrance and exit in all centres. We will also use drones to monitor the centres.”
In the area of prosecution of those caught in the past he said, “100 candidates caught red-handed are under prosecution – 20 jailed and 80 others are under investigation.
“Last year was for the prosecution of candidates. By the grace of God, it is the turn of CBT centres to be prosecuted. If you do work well, it will reduce the cost of running from one court to the other.”
It was announced that the board have generated N20 billion from University and Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) between 2016 to 2019.

The Federal Government has declared December 25th, 26th and January 1st 2020 as public holidays.
In a statement signed by the permanent secretary to the Ministry of Interior, Georgina Ehuriah, the public holidays are for the Christmas (December 25th), Boxing Day (December 26th) and New Year (January 1st) celebrations.
According to the statement, the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, felicitates with christians and all Nigerians both at home and abroad on this year’s Christmas and New Year Celebrations.

COZA, Wizkid, Davido and Tiwa Savage have all been trending on social media and it is because of a controversial promotional video that went viral on social media.
However, the trio of Davido, Wizkid and Tiwa came out individually to issue a disclaimer on being any part of the ‘sham video’ and also noting that they do not endorse the church.
A twitter user has now corroborated their disclaimer, saying he knew Davido was not lying from the start.
The twitter user, @kaybest__ wrote; “This is the video where COZA used Wizkid and Tiwa Savage to fraudulently promote their event. I just knew Davido was not lying from the start.”
Instagram celebrity, Mompha has taken to social media to celebrate his one true friend who stood by him during his challenging times.
Recall the Instagram celebrity was arrested by the EFCC in October over internet fraud, he was recently released on bail. During his stay in the anti graft agency’s custody, Mompha lost some friends who quickly disassociated themselves from him, as the EFCC blew hot on him and investigated anyone that has anything to do with him.

Former SoundCity Presenter, Juliet Mgborukwe and Chima Ojukwu’s divorce has been finalized and she took to Instagram to celebrate while opening up about the struggles she faced during the divorce proceedings.
Juliet and Chima got married in October 2011 and separated in 2012, just a few months after their wedding ceremony. At the time, Juliet said the marriage had ended over ”irreconcilable differences”.
In 2014, after lots of communication between the couple, they decided to give their marriage a second chance which made the actress move to the US to start afresh with Chima Ojukwu.

Nigerian songstress, Tiwa Savage has also waded in on the trending COZA controversial promotional video as it appears there’s also a purported video of her endorsing the event.
Tiwa vehemently warned the church to retract the video as she does not endorse the church or their event and she was fraudulently approached to simply state how God had been good to her this year.
Tiwa savage wrote;
It has been brought to my attention that there is a viral video which includes me advertising an upcoming COZA event.
I want to state that i have nothing to do with the Church and certainly do not endorse their events.
I am extremely disappointed that i was fraudulently approached to simply comment on how good God has been to me and it has been wrongly edited to use my image to create an advert to deceive people.
COZA this is wrong. I will be taking action if this is not immediately retracted.

Lineo took to social media to share a picture of their baby’s hand for the first time since he was born as she remembers her first son.

A rights activist, Gwamnishu Harrison, who was in charge of the rescue of a 15-year-old child bride, Chinwe has shared new photos of the girl.
Recall 15-year-old CHinwe was married off to a 56-year-old ‘demented man’, identified as Izuchuwkwu Igwilo.
The activist in an update, has disclosed that the girl has been granted scholarship by Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano. He also revealed that she has been trained and empowered in tailoring through ITF and assisted back to school within the space of eight months by the Anambra State Government through the Ministry of Women Affairs.

Elizabeth Omale, the lady in the controversial promotional video involving Davido and COZA church, has come out to tender her apology for taking a part in the video.
The lady made her clarification, saying that the video was never intended to be a promotional ad.

I would like to make some clarifications on the video I recorded with @davidoofficial for my church, the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA). The video was in no way intended to be an official ad from the church. It was simply my way of raising awareness for a program I am passionate about.
I have read reports online claiming that Davido is coming to the program as an ambassador of COZA because of the video, these reports are false. He recorded that video with me and my daughter as a favour to a friend, nothing more.
Also, my pastor, Pastor Biodun only reposted the video from my page because he has been reposting videos about the program. My video wasn’t the only one on his page.
The video was a product of my excitement about 12DG and there was no malice intended. I apologize for the confusion and misrepresentation, and once again I’d like to say I acted as an individual and not as an official representative of COZA. Thank you.
President Donald Trump was impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives Wednesday night, becoming only the third American chief executive to be formally charged under the Constitution’s ultimate remedy for high crimes and misdemeanors.
The historic vote split along party lines, much the way it has divided the nation, over a charge that the 45th president abused the power of his office by enlisting a foreign government to investigate a political rival ahead of the 2020 election.
The House then approved a second charge, that he obstructed Congress in its investigation. The articles of impeachment, the political equivalent of an indictment, now go to the Senate for trial.
If Trump is acquitted by the Republican-led chamber, as expected, he still would have to run for reelection carrying the enduring stain of impeachment on his purposely disruptive presidency.
“The president is impeached,” Pelosi declared after the vote.
Meanwhile, after the announcement was made, the President took to his favorite social network twitter, to share a photo of himself with an inscription that reads ;

Davido in reaction has claimed the video was doctored.. and he has given the church an ultimatum to retract the said video, else he may have to seek a legal redress.

The United States House of Representatives voted largely along party lines to impeach President Donald Trump for obstruction of Congress and abuse of power related to his dealings with Ukraine.
Trump is only the third president in US history to be impeached by the full House. Wednesday’s votes set up a likely January trial in the Republican-controlled Senate.
“It is tragic that the president’s reckless actions, make impeachment necessary,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said as she “solemnly and sadly” opened the House debate on impeachment.
“He gave us no choice,” Pelosi said.
