Nollywood Actress, Angela Okorie has described the recent robbery attack on her as an assassination attempt.
The mother-of-one was attacked by gunmen in the early hours of Saturday December 14th. It was widely believed that the attack was carried out by suspected armed robbers.
According to her, 10 bullets were removed from her head.
Sharing a video of an x-ray of her head, She wrote

Legendary Indian actress, Gita Siddharth Kak, known for her remarkable roles in films like Parichay; Disco Dancer; and Trishul among others, passed on to Glory yesterday, December 14, 2019.
According to India Today, the actress died in the evening of December 14th. She is best known for her role in M.S. Sathyu’s 1973 classic Garam Hawa. Sathyu’s effort won a National Award as Best Feature Film on National Integration.
She received a souvenir at the ceremony for her role of Amina in the film. Gita made her debut in Gulzar’s 1972 film, Parichay, starring Jeetendra and Jaya Bhaduri. She was a familiar face on the Bollywood screen of the seventies and eighties, featuring in films such as Sholay, Trishul, Disco Dancer, Ram Teri Ganga Maili, Noorie, Desh Premee, Dance Dance, Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki, Shaukeen, Arth, Mandi, Ek Chadar Maili Si, Gaman and Doosra Aadmi.
She was married to television host-producer and documentary filmmaker Siddharth Kak, who is known for his popular TV culture magazine, Surabhi, which aired on Doordarshan from 1990 to 2001.

You recently caught President Donald Trump’s attention with your drawing of him which you posted as @Doks_art, how did you learn to draw like that using ballpoint?
I learnt how to draw with a ballpoint pen by practising vigorously – the kind of practice that involves buying 10 papers and throwing nine in the dustbin. At first, it was tough! Since ink cannot be erased, I missed things up several times. There were countless failures.
I started drawing cartoons like Spiderman and those cool action characters while I was still crawling. But I started drawing professionally in 2017. I can only work with ballpoint pen, but I want to learn to use more things – people think I’m already good to go but I’m not. I do not paint.
Why was it so important to you for Trump to see it?
It was important to me because Twitter is a platform he loves using and I know with the support of others, he surely would.
When Trump described it as fantastic, how did you feel?
Wow! For the president of the United States to call my work “fantastic”, when regular people might not even look at it twice, meant everything to me.
Since President Trump described it as fantastic and said you had a talent, what opportunities have come with it?
Opportunities and doors are inevitable! Galleries and online news platforms and newspapers have reached out to me. People have offered me commissions. And I finally got to be an influencer – that’s the gift President Trump offered me. In future, I see myself dominating the arts world, having exhibitions around the world and being an influencer and a role model.

“I thank God for one thing about me, and that is the fact that I don’t hesitate to say no and stand by it. If I don’t want something, I’ll say it respectfully and politely. I always tell them, ‘thank you very much for the admiration but I humbly decline’. She revealed.
And when asked to describe her ideal man, and the potentials he must possess, she replied…
“I like men in suits. I like my man to look astonishing and gorgeous. His complexion and height is not an issue for me, what matters to me is his personality. If he is responsible and decent, it’s fine by me. I don’t like men that sag their pants and wear bold chains around their necks. The basic potentials I desire from my ideal man would be: attentiveness – he must give me maximum attention. I want a man who understands other people’s feelings and respects people, because how he treats people is really who he is. I’m very conscious about that because that is a representation of who he really is. And finally, I want a man who is God fearing.”

How do you feel emerging the new Miss Nigeria?
It’s an obvious fact. I mean, after the rigorous processes in camp, and at the end of the whole struggle, I emerged winner. It’s a dream come true and I am super excited for the fact that I had contested for this crown three good times, and now I made it. The excitement is out of this world!
How did your journey to the crown begin?
It’s been a question of the good, the bad and the ugly. Nothing good comes easy.. I went to camp prepared with so much optimism, enthusiasm and positive expectations. And while I was in camp, a lot of things happened, other contestants tried to upset me; I met disappointments, different things tried to throw me off balance. But I thank God for the grace to remain determined on achieving the real goal which was winning the crown. So, yes, the process was the good, the bad and the ugly. But I enjoyed every moment in camp and I’m grateful.
What would be your first project as Queen?
That would be to join and support the ‘Risen Girl’ summit. The Miss Nigeria pageant already has an office that comes with responsibilities; so most of my projects would be in line with the agenda of that office so I don’t deviate from the ready made agenda. It’s a legacy that we are trying to build and it’s expected of us to maintain that legacy. There are various projects to focus on; there are health, sexual abuse, environmental sensitization, empowerment and so on. But one project dear to my heart is impacting human development. I am really passionate about learning; so I want to see how I can get scholarship for at least one girl-child, sponsor her to any level of her education before the end of my reign. I attended good schools, I intend to further by obtaining my Master’s degree, have a PHD, and so, I would love to see another girl live-out her dreams through my education sponsorship scheme.
As a law graduate, what spurred you into participating in the Miss Nigeria pageant?
I happen to be someone who has love for fashion and beauty. More importantly, I love to do professional things. So, my profession as a lawyer is interesting for me because it gives me an area of almost everything. You know, there’s law in virtually everything we do. So, I felt like it was a perfect course for me since it gave me knowledge about everything in life. My interest in beauty and fashion is just a natural phenomenon.
Okay, what happens to your career since you are now a beauty queen?
I haven’t gone to law school yet, and I haven’t done my NYSC yet. So, there’s still a long way for me to go after my reign.
Your personality illustrates beauty and brains, so tell us who is the man that has been there for you all this while?
There’s no man in my life. I am very much single but not searching for now. It’s work, work and work for me until the end of my tenure as a beauty queen.
How would you describe your ideal man, and mention three potentials you will like him to possess?

Nigerian singer Duncan Mighty has been released by the Imo State Nigeria Police Force, after he was arrested for ₦11 Million fraud.
In a statement released by the Imo State Nigeria Police PRO the singer has been released on bail and is scheduled to report back on an unspecified date next week.
The arrest follows a petition written by an up-and-coming rap artist M2 who claimed that the Imo state Government led by Owelle Rochas Okorocha, through the office of the special adviser on Entertainment, entered into a deal with Duncan Mighty to manage, promote and arrange collaboration with other top artists and sign M2 under Young Wealth record label owned by Duncan Mighty.
The said agreement was sealed with a fee of ELEVEN MILLION NAIRA (N11,000,000) which was paid to Duncan Mighty, however, since collecting the payment he refused to fulfill his own part of the deal.
The singer was rumored to have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the early hours of early hours of yesterday.
It was later in the day that the Police released a statement stating they were responsible for his arrest.

A viral video of a pastor bathing in church and serving his church members his bath water to drink has sparked up mixed reactions on social media.
The Ghanaian pastor was spotted in his boxers taking a dip in a barrel filled with water in the church. However shortly after speaking to his church members, they were spotted lining up to drink from a cup filled with his bath water.
Local news platforms reported that the Pastor told his members that God instructed him to pull off the act. According to him, anyone who drinks from his bath water will get more blessings.
Though the time the incident occurred was not immediately available, the name of the church was however given as ‘Endtime Church Of Nation’.

Popular Media Personality, Toke Makinwa has shared her experience of how she tried to “rush life” at the age of 20.
Speaking in a recent episode of her Toke Moments, she narrated her past experiences while seizing the opportunity to dish advice to her fans.
According to Makinwa, she loved too much at 20 and would retrace her steps if she had the chances.

On Saturday, December 14, it was widely reported that Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie was attacked and left in a pool of blood.
According to blogger Stella Dimokokorkus, Angela Okorie ran into armed men on December 12th on her way back from a show and they riddled her car with bullets.
She was later hospitalised after sustaining serious injuries.
It was also gathered that 14 bullet pellets were removed from her hair and she suffered a little injury to her shoulder.
Angela took to her Instagram page about 11 hours ago (from writing this post) to share lovely photos and prayed death unto anyone that doesn’t want her alive.

The current Miss Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh, has been crowned Miss World 2019.
The 23-year-old beat 113 other contestants to win the coveted crown in a pageant which took place in London today December 14th.
Singh, who is studying Women’s Studies and Psychology at Florida State University, was crowned by Miss World 2018, Vanessa Ponce of Mexico.
During the competition, Singh spoke with confidence when she was asked why she should win the crown.
“I represent something special, a generation of women that are pushing forward to change the world. I wouldn’t say I’m different from any other woman on this stage but I will say that my passion for women and pouring into them and making sure that they have the same opportunities that I’ve had is something that sets me apart,” she said
Tonia also wowed the audience with her strong vocals by singing a rendition of Whitney Houston’s hit single, I Have Nothing.

According to the lady, the couple committed suicide because of the huge debt they incurred after their wedding.

Recall that Angela’s Mercedes Benz SUV was seriously vandalized with bullets and the interior of the car was filled with broken glasses following gunshots in an undisclosed location where she was attacked.
Stella Dimokokorkus has now shared photos of Angela Okorie’s face covered in blood after the attack that almost claimed her life.
Angela Okorie looked battered and shattered in the photos, her face swollen and her left eye appears to have temporarily shut down.

According SDK, who got the exclusive scoop, the actress who is presently on admission in the hospital , was on her way from Ikeja, when she ran into armed men at Orile area of Lagos and they damaged her car with bullets and from the video shared online, the back seats were filled with blood splashed all over.
