A tragic incident occurred at Tokunbo house in Kamoru street at Alimosho, Lagos state as a middle aged man identified as Fortune (IK) reportedly stabbed his brother Chinaza to death.
The brothers got into a heated argument after Chinaza refused releasing the N500 his mother gave him to his elder brother Fortune. The murder suspect who is currently on the run got angered by this and reportedly broke a glass cup which he used in stabbing his brother in the throat.
Fortune reportedly rushed his brother to the hospital thereafter but he was confirmed dead on arrival. He reportedly escaped from the hospital, changed his cloth upon returning home with the excuse of coming to pick his ATM to withdraw money and disappeared afterwards.
Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court, Ibadan Judicial Division, today Monday November 18th, sentenced to six months imprisonment Adeleke Oluwaseyi, a 21-year-old internet fraud apprentice.
EFCC in a statement released this afternoon, said Oluwaseyi, was arraigned one a one-count charge of impersonation and was found guilty as charged. Oluwaseyi who claimed to be eight months into online dating apprenticeship when arrested in June, operated with the name Patrick Bob, claiming to be an American citizen.
He was initially arraigned on a four-count charge before the counts were reduced to one after sealing a plea bargain arrangement with the EFCC.
The latter count to which he pleaded guilty on Monday offends Section 22(3) of the Cyber crimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc) Act, 2015.
Owing to his ‘guilty’ plea, EFCC’s counsel Ifeanyi Agwu had prayed the court to sentence him in accordance with the content of the plea bargain arrangement.
Besides the jail term, the convict was also ordered to restitute $150 USD to his victim through the Federal Government of Nigeria.
He will equally forfeit his Samsung J3, Infinix and Kigtel phones as well as his Lenovo laptop to the Federal Government.

Buhari cut short his three-week private visit to London by two days as he arrived the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja late on Friday night.

A Twitter user, Identified as Aunty Naira has narrated how her neighbor’s 4-month-old son was stolen by her brother who went missing for 10 years.
According to Naira, it all started when the lady’s brother who went missing for over 10 years suddenly appeared, just to give a clumsy excuse of how he has been hustling for 10 years, that’s why he couldn’t reach out to his family.
She found his story suspicious, but then again, she was glad to see her brother so she waved off the suspicion. After some days, he requested for N50k which she couldn’t afford to give him at that moment.
Days later, while they were at home, he told her how he wanted to take a stroll outside with her baby. Innocently, she agreed and he zoomed off with her son. Days passed, weeks passed, years passed, still no trace of her son.
Only for her to get a text message from him, stating that she should forget about her son as he has already used him to settle himself, since she couldn’t give him N50k. Currently, she’s mentally unstable following her sad ordeal.
A Lady was worried about the never-ending loss of money and disappearance of valuable items in her home and she decided to set up a secret camera and she made a shocking discovery.
