Following the eviction of Big Brother Naija 2019 housemate, Khafi, details of how Nigerians voted have emerged and a twitter user was particularly surprised Tacha scored a higher vote percentage than Mike.
Four housemates: Khafi, Tacha, Mike and Seyi were nominated for possible eviction this week.
Omashola, who was nominated but had the veto power card, replaced himself with Seyi. Khafi, however scored the least votes and thus was evicted last night.
A twitter user, while reacting to last night’s eviction, was baffled Tacha had more votes than Mike and asked a sarcastic question.

A 29-year-old man identified as Emeka Emmanuel has been arrested for parading himself as a staff of EFCC.
Mr. Emmanuel is alleged to have swindle unsuspecting victims under the pretense of providing them employment with the EFCC as operatives. He was arrested on the 14/09/2019 at about 1100hrs at Iyana Iba and he was in possession of a fake EFCC ID card which he used in parading himself as an EFCC operative.
One of Emmanuel’s victims told Police Investigators that the suspect collected the sum of N51,000 from him over a month ago with a promise of securing employment for his son as an EFCC operative.
The suspect has confessed to the crime. He was also found operating illegal medical facility in his residence. Other items recovered include medical equipment and fake certificates.
Nigerian Singer, Mr 2kay has taken his support for controversial big brother Naija housemate, Tacha to another level as he wore a shirt customized with ‘body odour.’
Recall, the singer was by former BBNaija star and ex-girlfriend, Gifty for defending the controversial housemate when a fellow housemate allegedly said she has body odour. (Read Here)

Khafi was put up for eviction last week by the trio of Seyi, Ike and Mercy, and she scored the least percentage of votes which meant her journey in the reality show came to an end on Sunday.

Nollywood actress Ayo Adesanya took to social media to share her finally got an opportunity to deliver a wheelchair to a beggar that asked for it after weeks of a long search.
According to the actress, she met the beggar sometime ago after filming on the Island. Ayo said after she reached out to give him money, he told her that he needed a wheelchair instead.
However it took weeks of search for the wheelchair to be delivered to the beggar as he was no where to be found after the actress turned up with what he asked for.

Two Nigerian men have lost their lives after the drugs they swallowed burst during a flight from Brazil to Ethiopia.
The deceased, identified as Chigozie Pascal Aniagbado and Chijioke Chidioka Ogbuefi, died before an emergency landing, despite the fact that CPR was performed on them.
Narrating how it happened, an eyewitness said: “I was in an Ethiopian Airline from Brazil to Ethiopia. My seat number falls at the middle of two men.
The flight was 12hrs. The young man at my right asked me to check the flight map to know how far we had gone which I did. We were already half the journey.
Then he said to me “do you speak Igbo,” I said “yes.” He said he doesn’t know if he would make this journey that it seems the drugs he swallowed must have exceeded its stay in his system.
Then my mind sank. I began to shiver. He said ‘don’t be scared, it’s not in the bag, it is inside my body.’ He said I should stand and get him water, but I refused because I was scared he might insert something in my bag.
I had to wave for the air hostess to come. She came and served him water. He demanded for food, he was given. He became calm. Few minutes later, he brought an olive oil from his bag and drank.
Then he started shivering and fell down. That was when all the doctors in the plane assembled, questioning, asking his country and tribe.
He was able to open up that he swallowed drugs. The doctors had to put him on oxygen, then the other also started shivering.
Because of them, we were to have an emergency landing. The pilots said no matter their crime, it’s their priority to keep them alive.
We couldn’t land the said country has Ebola ,so we proceed while they are on oxygen….. One if men is the son of of Best biscuits and he lost is father last year. While typing, I was told they had lost the battle. May their soul rest in piece.

Three Weeks To Go
With beaming faces, the eleven Housemates expressed their joy and gratitude for making it this far in the Pepper Dem race.
“I never expected to be in the House in week twelve and I’m so excited” seemed to be the order of the day as each of the Housemates chorused this answer to Biggie’s question. Except for Tacha, who admitted that she isn’t surprised that she’s still in the House. No surprise there as the Port Harcourt first daughter has always told whoever cared to listen that she’s going to remain in the game till day ninety-nine.
Shop Away
Biggie asked the Housemates if they would ever shop from the Bet9ja cart or if they would rather have the shopping cart removed.
What we found interesting were the different items the Pepper Dem Gang are saving the Coins for. Although, while most of them had plans to either treat themselves to spa sessions, Mike told Big Brother that he’s too broke to avoid any item on the shopping list.
While Seyi, Elozonam have decided to buy spa sessions when they have gathered enough Bet9ja coins, Mercy and Omashola are bent on using their hard-earned (and stolen) Coins to buy the Immunity privilege for a week.
What we found cute was when Mercy revealed to Biggie that she would like to buy the Immunity as a birthday treat to herself and she asked Biggie not to wheel the cart away. To achieve this, she plans on escaping Eviction this week by fighting hard in the Veto Power and Head of House battles. Good luck, Lambo!
While others revealed their plans to buy the Immunity privilege on the shopping cart, Cindy did not mince her words when she told Biggie to remove the item from the list. To her, it seemed unfair to give people the power to do so. Do you agree with her?

“Khafi should go,” Elozonam admitted to Biggie when asked who he is hoping to see leave the House. To Omashola, he hopes Seyi escapes Eviction tonight because of the guilt of putting him up this week.
With four Housemates facing Eviction, “It’ll be a loss to see any of the lineups leave this week,” Mike says. For him, he’s excited to leave and prepared to stay, regardless of the outcome tonight.
While some of the Housemates were being direct and specific in their answers, Diane hopes the strong competition gets Evicted from the House.
“I want Tacha, Mike and Seyi to stay, in fact, everyone up for Eviction,” Mercy told Biggie and we couldn’t help but wonder where her competitive spirit went to. After explaining her long week to Biggie, “It would be really nice to cancel Eviction this week,” Khafi subtly pleaded. To which Big Brother replied, “Nice try!” Better luck next time with the pleads, Khafi, maybe when Biggie is in a more generous mood, perhaps?
Speaking of pleads, Ike asked Biggie to keep the shopping cart for one more week to enable him to buy the Immunity privilege for a week. The fear of Eviction, you may say. “I’d like Mike and Tacha to remain in the House after this week’s Eviction,” he added.
Evicted Big Brother Naija Housemate, Khafi, gave an epic reaction when the show host, Ebuka, revealed the housemates who put her up for possible nomination.

An honest elderly Nigerian citizen has been praised online for his virtuous behaviour after he returned the money he found in the restroom of a Lagos airport.
The man handed the money to a janitor who works at the airport before leaving the facility.

Nigerian Singer, Davido, was embroiled in a twitter exchange with some die-hard fans of Wizkid popularly known online as ‘Wizkid FC’.
It all started when Davido revealed e got a couple on songwriters to work on his new album.
He Tweeted, ‘One of my favorite songs on my upcoming album was Co written by Adekunle Gold, Thanks for your touch on this ! God bless you brother’.
Then he got attacked for not writing his own songs and he had to respond saying, ‘Maybe more artist should learn to tell the truth’.
Davido also added ‘FC dey para today o’, in a response to yet another troll.
However, some twitter users misconstrued his tweet and thought he was talking about Wizkid, whom people see as Davido’s main rival in the music industry.
The Singer then decided to put an end to the speculated beef between him and Wizkid by calling the latter a legend.
Mr 2Kay has alleged that his reality star ex-girlfriend Gifty Powers gave his child to another man after he refused to give her some money.

Nollywood is about to experience a legal battle between two of her top actresses, in the persons of Toyin Abraham and Lizzy Anjorin.
The two movie stars haven’t been best of friends for a while now and apparently, their fight has reached a legal climax.

Nigerian Singer, Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane will on Monday September 16th, be arraigned before the Igbosere High Court in Lagos by the Lagos state police command.
According to a report by PUNCH, DammyKrane will be arraigned on a three-count charge bothering on threat to life, defamation and conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
The singer was accused of threatening the lives of staff members of betting company Merrybet Gold Limited on July 25th 2019 and also released a song in which he accused the firm of breach of contract. The act is said to be in contravention of sections 301, 412 and 168 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.
Dammy Krane was also said to have threatened public peace when he posted an audio and video message on radio in contravention of Section 168(d) of the state’s criminal law.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi, has opened up on her life, the pain, and how she has been able to handle losing her only child.
Eucharia, while speaking with TVC Intercontinental, said although she lost her only child, she is still happy regardless.

In the August 1 election, Suara received the second-most votes of the At-Large candidates, trailing only Bob Mendes. Mendes secured over 10 percent of the vote and did not have to take part in Thursday’s runoff election.
Suara is a Certified Public Accountant and works as the Assistant Controller at Meharry Medical College. She emigrated from Nigeria in 1993 and moved to Nashville in 1998 after her husband was accepted to a fellowship program at Vanderbilt.
According to the Election Commission’s website, Suara received 34,237 votes, exactly 13 percent of the vote. The results will be certified next week, according to Jeff Roberts with the Election Commission.
Big Brother Naija housemate, Mercy, today told her love interest, Ike, that she does not know why Africa (i.e viewers) keeps on saving Tacha anytime she’s up for eviction.
Mercy who has not really been best of friends with Tacha was ranting to Ike in a very profane way, saying all manner of unprintable names and although she tried her best not to mention any name in her rant, fans of the show got a hang of the gist and immediately pointed out she was talking about Tacha.

Recall during the week, video showing the moment Mike claimed that Tacha has body odour made rounds on social media, and it created quite a buzz with many fans of the show reacting to that claim.
Now Sir Dee has reacted to the rumor and he says Tacha has no body odour.
According to him, the discussion was irrelevant because he never noticed it when he was in the house.
“No Tacha does not have body odour, I don’t know where this is coming from.
“Tacha and I were very close in the house, so I would have noticed.
“I did not want to address this earlier because it was dumb and irrelevant.
“We would all have told her if Tacha was smelling,” Sir Dee said.
Nollywood actor, Ken Erics, has finally opened up on why his marraige ended.
Recall last week, Ken’s estranged Wife, Oni Adaba broke the news on social media in an Instagram comment section. According to her, Ken left their matrimonial home 10 months ago, abandoning her in trauma and pain. She also alleged that her husband never touched her for once in their marriage.

Most social media users take delight in creating funny posts with pictures of their political leaders and apparently, it has got the attention of Nigeria’s vice-president, Yemi Osinbajo.
In a video shared on social media, the Vice-President reacted to the funny memes used to ‘roast him’ on social media.
Osinbajo specifically made light of the meme about him speaking with President Buhari, saying ”It appears that every photograph of me speaking with the president has been characterised as though I am saying something mischievous.”
A federal high court sitting in Abuja has convicted six undergraduates for Cyber Crime.
Justice Nkeonye Maha, convicted and sentenced them to varying terms ranging from three to six months imprisonment, with option of fines N300, 000, after they pleaded guilty to all the charges preferred against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Those sentenced were Quarshie Nnamdi, Emmanuel Ogbole, Charles Iwu, Nuhu Usman, Ademoyegu Samson and Adunmo Sesan.
While sentencing the convicts, the judge ordered them to forfeit some of the items seized from them. The items include, laptops, phones among others recovered from them during investigations to the Federal Government. Maha also ordered the convicts to sign an undertaking to be of good behaviour and never to be involved in any other form of fraud within and outside the country, adding that failure to comply will attract judicial sanctions.
Media personality, Toke Makinwa has said some men are motivated to work harder when they meet a woman who loves money.
Toke Makinwa stated that men should learn to let go if a lady is not for them. She further advised men to stop getting angry when some ladies are honest about themselves and also allow them date their kind of man.

A Mother-of-two has held her wedding ceremony with a tree and now plans to change her surname to reflect her new marital status.
The 34-year-old bride identified as Kate Cunningham, decided to ‘marry’ the elder tree in Litherland’s Rimrose Valley Park as a move to raise awareness about a campaign opposing the construction of a new bypass.
Kate from Melling, told the Liverpool Echo that she had a hen do the night before and now plans to change her name to Kate Rose Elder by deed poll.
Kate’s family and friends looked on as the bizarre wedding ceremony was held at a park in merseyside.
Kate told the Echo:
“My boyfriend is very supportive of my decision.
“He’s even helped make props for the ceremony.
“My oldest son was initially embarrassed when I told him I was going to do it, but now he has decided to come to the ceremony. It means a lot to him to be there.
“My dad has been very supportive. He’s been out in his van helping to organise everything for the big day.”
Big Brother Naija Housemate, Mercy while in the house, revealed that she was dating popular footballer, Emmanuel Emenike.
She revealed that while dating Emenike, the footballer got married.. and after finding out, she discovered the footballer had already blocked her on social media.

Mercy says Emenike loved her, but had to leave her for a ‘popular person’, simply because she probably wasn’t popular at that time.

She said she wanted to make sure every time he picked up his phone anywhere, her face will pop up on social media, on his timeline.
