“We had fully involved the county government in the burial arrangements and they never resisted our proposal to bury [him] in his work regalia,” Francis Mutamba said, according to the Daily Nation newspaper.
Daniel Namayi, the assistant chief of the Ituti area threatened to drag the officials to court over the exhumation.

A former housemate of the 2017 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality TV Show, Gifty Powers has taken to her instastories to say the show is unfair and connection is needed to keep one in the house.
Gifty said this while reacting to the various strikes issued to the current set of housemates in the house.
The reality TV star frowned at the fact that Seyi who had previously ‘cursed’ Thelma on the show faced no penalty for his action when the previous edition saw Kbrule and Khloe earn a disqualification for the same action.
She wrote ;
I feel this is cheating and unfair.
One of Biggie’s rules is NO CURSING (strike).
Exactly what happened to Kbrule and Khloe, they were disqualified because of that.
But in the case of Seyi, he cursed Thelma and Ike but was never given a strike or a warning.
Imagine Buhari’s son or Davido going for BBN.
That is why i talk say BBN na all about connection and who get people to put you in the game.
Activist Reno Omokri has added his knowledge to Maraji’s post of Jesus being the only way to heaven and he stated that Jesus is not God.
He wrote;
Let me shock you. Yeshua came to show us the Way to God because He, Yeshua, is the ONLY Way to God. He is the everlasting Melchizedek High Priest. The Mediator between God and man. But He is NOT the Almighty God. That is a European concept.
Yeshua never claimed to be God. Many Christians read John 1:1 in The Bible (not the Scriptures) and use that to claim that Yeshua is God. I will urge you to get the original Greek Scriptures (see the attached picture) and even if you can’t read Greek, just study that verse. This is the verse in pure Greek (?ν ?ρχ? ?ν ? λ?γος, κα? ? λ?γος ?ν πρ?ς τ?ν θε?ν, κα? θε?ς ?ν ? λ?γος). Here is the verse in Latin, which may be easier for laymen (In principio erat Verbum, et Verbum erat apud Deum, et Deus erat Verbum). Notice the words DEUM and DEUS are used to describe the first and second mention of God.
Although you may not be able to read the Greek, what John 1:1 says when translated without changing the words used for God is this “in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with Theon and the Word was Theos”. The original Scriptures did not use the same word for the first mention of God and the second mention. The word used in the first mention is THEON (which refers to the Almighty. The word in the second mention is THEOS which is what is used to refer to Yeshua.
This is why Scripture says “my people perish for lack of knowledge”-Hosea 4:6.

Nigerian Rapper Iceberg Slim has penned a public apology to his ex-girlfriend, Juliet Ibrahim.
According to the rapper, he never took her love seriously, he let her down when she needed her the most AND EVEN CHEATED ON HER.
His apology reads ;
Dear @julietibrahim thank you for everything. You loved me unconditionally, even at my lowest points, and only wanted honesty and love in return.
Unfortunately, i have failed you along with everyone that her seen our relationship and wished us well. Despite the pain and heartache i have caused you, somehow you you still found a way to rise and smile again.
I lied, I cheated, I took your love for granted… and in turn, I brought ridicule and shame to you. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize. “Why now?” you may ask. In life, sometimes you have to reveal, in order to heal.
And as i have now revealed the true reasons for our breakup, healing comes next. As we continue on our separate paths, I pray for God’s continued guidance.
Juliet Ibrahim is yet to react publicly to this message as at time of press. The delectable actress recently had a book launch titled “A Toast to Life”

This is coming after his relationship with his baby mama, Shatta Michy crashed amid report of an alleged domestic abuse and insecurity.
Health officials have gotten a breakthrough in the cure for the deadly Ebola disease following results from a clinical trial of two therapies made from Ebola antibodies.
IN the Democratic Republic of Congo where there is a major outbreak of the virus, four Ebola drugs was administered to patients and two showed that 90% of infected people can survive if treated early.
The therapies that have improved survival rates are REGN-EB3, a cocktail of three monoclonal Ebola antibodies made by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN), and mAb114, a single monoclonal antibody developed by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health. Patients who were receiving two other drugs that are being discontinued, Zmapp and remdesivir, will now have the option at the discretion of their treating physician to receive the treatments that have been shown to work.
“REGN-EB3 and mAb114 are the first drugs that, in a scientifically sound study, have clearly shown a significant diminution in mortality for people with Ebola virus disease,” Anthony Fauci, director of the NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told AFP.
“It means that we do have now what looks like treatments for a disease which not too long ago we really had no therapeutic approach at all,” said Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of NIAID.
“We feel that with agents such as these … that we may be able to improve the survival of people with Ebola and … might even make people more enthusiastic about coming for care.
“Because when you have something to offer an individual, it makes it much more likely that you might get to them early. And the earlier the better, as in any disease” he added.
The trial was conducted by an international research group co-ordinated by the World Health Organization (WHO) and it began in November last year. The four experimental drugs were tested on 700 patients, with results from the first 499 now known.
Of the patients given the two more effective drugs, 29% on REGN-EB3 and 34% on mAb114 died, NIAID said. In contrast, 49% on ZMapp and 53% on Remdesivir died in the study, the agency said. The survival rate among patients with low levels of the virus in their blood was as high as 94% when they were given REGN-EB3, and 89% when on mAb114, the agency said.
The findings mean health authorities can “stress to people that more than 90% of people survive” if they are treated early, said Sabue Mulangu, an infectious-disease researcher who worked on the trial.
With the breakthrough in the trial, it means Ebola may soon be a “preventable and treatable” disease.
Big Brother Naija housemate, Joe has verbally attacked his fellow housemate, Tacha over her level of intelligence so far displayed on the reality show.
Joe, a Creative Director, during an argument with Tacha, said her eyelashes were higher than her “IQ.”
Both housemates had a fight and Biggie had issued them a strike for provocation and hitting of each other.
Speaking with other housemates in the presence of Tacha, Joe said:
“For the fact that she hit me will make me do it again and again and I am going to piss her off so much until she realizes that I am not like everybody else.
The report of Big Brother Naija: Pepper Dem housemate, Khafi Kareem engaging in sexual intercourse in the Big Brother house with Gedoni seems to be a trending issue in the UK as Sky News presenters discussed it on live television amid report of her getting sacked.
The reality show star joined MET Police as a PC based at Lambeth station in 2015, having worked part-time as a special constable for four years. Khafi was also once a ‘poster girl’ for the promotion of female and black staff.
It was however reported that Scotland Yard stated that it did not granted Ms Kareem’s request to appear on the programme and that an internal investigation would be carried out.
An unnamed colleague told The Sun,
“She’s a serving British police officer – it’s outrageous.
“She asked permission to go on the show but, when her request was refused, she went anyway.”
However, in their discussion, the Sky News Presenters said having sex on the show is not an issue – they however stated that leaving without permission and probably becoming pregnant from sex on the show might be the bigger challenge.

Popular Ivorian entertainer, DJ Arafat died on Monday, 12th of August, 2019 after he was involved in a motorbike accident.
The entertainer lost his life few hours after he’d posted a quite emotional post on his Instagram page – he’d posted a collage of throwback photos of himself and his kids without the slightest clue that death was hanging around.
See post below,
In new reports, it’s being said that a certain prophetess in his country had predicted his death a year ago.
According to a report by bblackafrica.tv, a prophetess had warned that the popular DJ might lose his life if he did not reconcile with a certain family he was feuding with.
The prophetess and president of the NGO MINOGE, Bénie Marthe is very respected in a Christian environment in Ivory Coast.
She made emphasis on the feud between Arafat and the family of young Marc Nai.
In this conflict between Arafat Dj and the Nai family, the artist has the means to cope. Arafat Dj will get by. But the devil is shaking his tail. His enemies want to defeat him. And, if he is not careful, this case may lead to his death.
A Nigerian guy who was sexually abused as a child, has spoken out about the abuse but has said he doesn’t regret that it happened.
@hendrix_victor2, while replying to a question on Twitter, revealed that his parents’ house help made him perform oral sex on her whenever his parents’ weren’t home.
His tweet elicited sympathy from Twitter users but he surprisingly told them not to sympathize with him because he “never regretted it”.
According to him, the maid’s actions brought out the best in him when it comes to “giving head”.
Lebanese-American celebrity, Mia Khalifa who became quite prominent for being a pornographic actress from 2014 to 2015 has revealed that she only made a total $12k (N4.3m) throughout her adult movie career.
The recently engaged Texas-based sports commentator addressed some of the common misconceptions about her time as an adult actress in a video she shared with her close to 17 million Instagram followers.
Mia Khalifa also revealed that it was nearly impossible to lead a normal life after she returned to a normal office job after her pornography career.
She wrote,
“Common misconception is that I’ve been making millions and millions from residuals for the work I did. Nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, I made around $12,000 in TOTAL my entire time in the industry. It was near impossible for me to lead a normal life with a normal office job after.
2 years into trying to force normalcy I decided to change my narrative and move to Austin to try and start over. I was involved in porn so briefly, but my actions spread like wildfire, and I continue to be ranked (truly baffles me) 5 years after leaving the industry. This is why people think I still perform.
Full interview via the link in my bio. The only reason I was able to handle speaking about this so in depth is due to @megmabbott’s incredible gift of making you feel heard, seen, and not judged. Thank you also to @errichp for the amazing editing and direction.”
Big Brother Naija: Pepper Dem housemate, Khafi‘s management has said their team was not contacted by media house, Sun UK for her own side of the story before they published such a report that can be injurious to her personality. See report here
The management is now demanding a retraction of the story and an apology within 48 hours.
Read their statement below,
ATTENTION! ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!!! The attention of Khafi’s management has been drawn to a publication by The Sun UK of Tuesday, August 13, 2019, titled “LOIN OF DUTY Met Police ‘poster girl’ faces sack for ‘having sex’ on Nigerian Big Brother after being told not to take part”. This brazenly sensational and defamatory outburst by The Sun UK is written in poor taste without considering the ethics of journalism which seeks balance and objectivity.
At NO time did The Sun UK send a mail of inquiry to Khafi’s official email which is blasted across her social media platforms under active management to confirm or refute the claims in the publication.
Khafi’s side of the story is deliberately and conveniently omitted to sell a pre-conceived narrative while responses from “outraged colleagues” and “other papers” riddle the publication.
This comes from a repressive culture of shaming and characterizing women for their sexual decisions and life choices.
We find The Sun UK’s publication repulsive and damaging to the image and livelihood of our client.
Khafi is a proud black female police officer who prides herself in her work and has dedicated her youthful years protecting and serving with her many skills which include the ability to speak at least five international languages.
We demand an immediate retraction of the publication by The Sun UK and a public apology to our client Khafilat Kareem within the next 48 hours.
Legal options are also being considered at this time.
All Progressives Congress (APC) spokesman in Lagos state, Joe Igbokwe, lashed out at head of states, President Buhari’s critics while appearing as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics on Monday August 12.
The Lagos APC spokesperson claimed that the PDP never did anything tangible in its 16 years in power, and further added that anyone who claims President Muhammadu Buhari is not doing well is a liar from hell.
His words,
“The PDP was there for 16 years and we didn’t see anything. In the midst of plenty, I cannot lay my hands on anything,” he said.
“Support your leader, don’t be a distraction. Anybody who tells you Buhari is not doing well is a liar from the pit of hell, given where we are coming from.”
“If the president can solve all the problems of Nigeria in one day, they would have done it in the 60s. It’s a continuum.
“As the population is growing, the problem will continue to grow. As Nigeria is growing, the problem will continue to grow. So problems will never disappear from the face of the earth” he added.
Joe Igbokwe was however countered on the programme by Ken Olugbo, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Though he admitted that the PDP made mistakes in some areas, he however stated that they performed much more better than the present Buhari-led administration.
“I can’t condemn entirely everything that President Muhammadu Buhari has done. I have said it and I have tried to always be objective,” he said.
“But Igbokwe must admit that we are hungry. Nigerians are hungry. The economy is bad. We need to move to a next level (of economic prosperity).”
“I am not saying we had a perfect government, let us stop that blame game. We have passed that era of the blame game.
“We have always said it that PDP’s government isn’t perfect. In fact, Secondus apologised to Nigerians. For somebody to apologise, does that not tell you that we didn’t do well in a lot of areas?
“But we are looking at it. When you marry two wives, you compare the two wives. You have married the PDP, now you are married to the APC. Now Nigerians can see for themselves. We did better than what we are currently seeing” he added.
Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko turned a year older recently and as can be seen on her Instagram page, she’s been blessed with a ton of gifts in celebration of her special day.
The actress turned a year older on Monday August 12 and the day was lit up with a car gift she excitedly showed off on Instagram.
She didn’t reveal who the birthday gift came from, Destiny has however received congratulatory messages from her colleagues – the video she shared came with the caption,

On her special day, before the exotic and expensive gifts started trooping in, the actress had shared stunning photos on her IG page to mark her birthday. See them here
Nigerian big boy, Ray Hushpuppi was on Instagram attending to questions from his fans last night and he touched on quite a number of topics including the status of his ‘fight’ with his rival and former best friend, Mompha.
The flamboyant businessman also explained why he doesn’t share photos of his girlfriend online and how important family is to him.
POLICE poster girl Khafi Kareem defied her bosses to appear in a series of steamy romps on TV.
The PC, who once stood alongside Met Commissioner Cressida Dick to promote female and black recruitment, was told not to take part in Nigeria’s Big Brother.
But the 29-year-old had already been granted unpaid leave and joined the show, where she has romped three times with businessman Ekpata Gedoni, 31.
Their romance has viewers gripped but she is facing an investigation by the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards.
One colleague said: “She’s a serving British police officer — it’s outrageous. She asked permission to go on the show but, when her request was refused, she went anyway.
“Her out-of-office email reply blatantly says that she is away from work, yet no one does anything.
“Other officers working with her are furious that she can just disobey orders then swan off the Africa and tarnish the reputation of the force.”
Former bit-part actress and shop assistant Khafi joined the Met as a PC based at Lambeth station in 2015 after working part-time as a special constable for four years.
She was inspired to sign up after a 16-year-old pal was stabbed to death but has spoken out against police stop-and-search tactics.
POLICE CHIEF’S FURY
The PC, who earns about £30,000 a year, was pictured with Ms Dick and other female officers celebrating 100 years of women in the Met last November.
Khafi, who speaks French, Italian and her native Yoruba, worked as a translator and a spotter for a female genital mutilation team looking for possible victims at airports.
But she was said to have been moved after clashes with colleagues.
After being granted unpaid leave, she asked to go on Nigeria’s Big Brother but her request was refused.
Nonetheless, pictures appeared on websites promoting Big Brother Naija: Pepper Dem showing the PC in her uniform while she is billed as a talented dancer and singer.
Publicity material says: “Police officer Khafi Kareem believes that you can have it all if you believe in yourself. She is not only hoping to win the prize money but she wants the exposure that being in Big Brother Naija House brings so that she can do societal good.”
AXE OVER ROMP
Fans of the show, which began on June 30, have been eagerly following her fling with Ekpata.
Nigerian news websites have published video of the pair bucking and moaning beneath the sheets.
One article said: “There are now fears that Khafi may leave Big Brother Naija House pregnant as she and lovebird Gedoni continued their sizzling romance. The cameras caught them for the third time overnight as other housemates were dead asleep.
“The footage, now trending, showed the lovebirds moving their bodies in ecstasy under the sheets.
“Gedoni and Khafi first romped in the house on Saturday, July 20 and then again on Tuesday, July 23.
“And pregnancy can occur since the housemates still have about 70 days left in the house.”
Her TV appearances have left colleagues unimpressed. Another Met source said: “There should be no way back for her from this and her superiors will have to act.
“She fitted the mould perfectly for how the modern force wants to portray itself but seems to have got a bit too big for her boots.
“It’s hard to see how can she argue that she hasn’t brought the force into disrepute.”
The Met said she was on unpaid leave granted “for an unrelated reason” before being refused permission to appear on the show.
A Met spokesman said last night: “The Met is aware that the officer has since appeared on the show without authority. The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed and will be carrying out an investigation into the circumstances.
“The Met does not support the officer’s appearance nor does she represent the Met whilst appearing on the show.
“All officers have a duty to behave with professionalism and in a manner that does not bring the Met into disrepute whether on or off duty.
“Those who do not behave professionally risk breaching police standards of professional behaviour, and may be dealt with by way of misconduct proceedings.”
HIGH-FLYING RECRUIT
When she was pictured with Ms Dick last year, Khafi told The Guardian: “I didn’t want any career to be off-limits to me because I was a female, or a black female.”
In March, the high-flying recruit was invited to the West End premier of Captain Marvel alongside Deputy Commissioner Lucy D’Orsi.
She revealed at the time she was inspired to join the force after school pal Kodjo Yenga, 16, was murdered by a gang for straying on their turf in Hammersmith in 2007.
She said: “I was devastated and in shock and disbelief. It wasn’t until the media started writing about it and flowers were left at the scene that it really came home to me.”
“I want to make a difference instead of shouting on the sidelines.
“How will racial abuse change if people do not stand up for other cultures? I wanted to be part of the solution.”
In addition to her police work, Khafi tweets and writes travel blog A Cup of Khafi.
Her Twitter account also actively promotes her participation in the Nigerian show.
Asked what she would do with the £50,000 prize money if she won, she made no mention of returning to the Met.
Instead, she told producers: “I will hire a film crew and host a travel show going to every state in Nigeria showcasing the tourist beauty spots. I would also invest in charitable causes.”
