During her conversation with Omashola, Khafi revealed her sadness about the distance between herself and her self-selected Pepper Dem partner – Gedoni. In his response, Omashola said he noticed the distant communication between the pair and had told Gedoni to address the issue with Khafi. What Stirred Up The Trouble?
Khafi addressed the trouble in their ship by asking Gedoni why the pair had been distant since Sunday. This was evident when Khafi was seen struggling to memorise her lyrics in today’s Pepsi Know Da Lyrics Task – and while other Housemates helped her get through the struggle, Gedoni was nowhere to be found. To her, he just wasn’t there for her.
To Khafi, she felt her answer to Ebuka’s question about her feelings for Gedoni made him scared and caused this distance. We reckon it wouldn’t be easy to forget the moment Khafi was caught agreeing with Ebuka that Gedoni had arrested her heart. Biggie’s cupid must be doing a great job in the House.
“It felt like you only used me to get over KimOprah and now that she’s gone, you’re done playing the game”, said Khafi as she revealed her fears.

US singer, Beyonce has revealed why she featured Wizkid and other African artiste in her new album, set for release on Friday, July 19 2019.
The new album titled “The Lion King: The Gift” features Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi, Burna Boy and Tekno. Shatta Wale was the only Ghanaian artiste featured in the album.
According to Beyonce, she wanted a collection of songs from different genres that express what she’s trying to pass across.
“This is a sonic cinema. This is a new experience of storytelling. I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film. It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound. It is influenced by everything from R&B, pop, hip hop and Afro Beat”, she said.
“I wanted to put everyone on their own journey to link the storyline. Each song was written to reflect the film’s storytelling that gives the listener a chance to imagine their own imagery while listening to a new contemporary interpretation.
“It was important that the music was not only performed by the most interesting and talented artists but also produced by the best African producers. Authenticity and heart were important to me”, Beyonce stated

An elderly couple from Georgia who were together for 71 years have died just 12 hours apart on the same day.
Herbert DeLaigle, 94, and Marilyn Frances DeLaigle, 88, got married in 1948 and died on Friday at a hospital in Waynesboro. According to WRDW Herbert died at 2.20am, and Marilyn Frances died exactly 12 hours later.
The couple met in a Waynesboro cafe back in 1947 where Marilyn was working.
‘Frances worked at a little cafe we had in Waynesboro named White Way Cafe. I kept seeing her going in and out, in and out and I had my eyes set on her. And then I finally got up the nerve to ask her if she would go out with me sometime’ Herbert DeLaigle said in a 2018 interview with WRDW.
Marilyn DeLaigle went on to spend six years in Germany with her husband who served there during the Second World War. He served again in Korea and Vietnam before eventually retiring from the Army after 22 years of service. Together they had six children and a total of 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and even three great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held for the DeLaigles on Monday this week.
Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh’s step-sister, Tatiana Dikeh has drawn the line on her ex-friend, Blessing Osom not long after the latter took to Instagram to disclose details of all she allegedly did for the actress.
The whole saga between Dikeh and Osom all started when the former’s estranged husband, Churchill Olakunle gifted her ex-friend, Blessing osom the sum of N3 million as a birthday present.
Osom took to her Instagram to share a screenshot of the credit alert notification she got as she thanked Olakunle profusely – her post caused her heavy backlash by the actress’s fans and in her defense she took to her page to badmouth the actress.

Earlier today, we reported of how the third baby mama of Nigerian singer, Wizkid, Jada P accused him of being a violent partner as he’s being assaulting her over the years.
Jada P took to her page to share how she’d been covering up for the singer over the years despite the fact that he was abusing her in closed doors. She shared that she can’t take it anymore and so she had to out him.
It should be recalled that a while back, the singer’s first two baby mamas, Shola Ogudu and Binta Diallo had both taken to social media to call out the singer for being a deadbeat dad and at that time, Jada P was in his full support of the singer and against his baby mamas.
Now that it seems that she (Jada P) is fazed with somewhat the same fate as her peers, the singer’s second baby mama has subtly shaded her following her revelation of the singer’s misdemeanour.

Nominations for the 71st Emmy Awards, which recognize excellence in television, were announced yesterday in a live webcast.
The final season of Game of Thrones took a clear lead in the count, racking up 32 nominations across all categories including outstanding drama series.
Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington got nominated in the Best Actor and Actress category, while eight other “Thrones” cast members swept the board in the supporting and guest acting categories.
This year’s awards show will be telecast live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 22, starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Fox.

The Presidency has approved the immediate implementation of the N30,000 new national wage for Federal Public Service workers currently earning below the minimum wage.
The Chairman, National Salaries, Income and Wages Commission, Richard Egbule made this known while addressing a news conference on the implementation of the new national minimum wage today Tuesday July 16th.
According to him, the commencement of the approved payment would be determined by the office of the Accountant-General and back dated to when the President signed the agreement.
According to Mr. Egbule,the approval takes effect from April 18, 2018 and will affect the salary of government agencies under five salary structures.
This include the Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure (CONPSS), Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) and the Consolidated Research and Allied Institutions Salary Structure (CONRAISS).
Also, the Consolidated Tertiary Institutions Salary Structure (CONTISS II) and Consolidated Tertiary Educational Institutions Salary Structure (CONTEDISS) would be affected.
Singer and songwriter, Timi Dakolo has reacted to the statement recently released by the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN where they deny that they sent officials to support Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) during last Sunday’s church service.
News had earlier made the rounds, of Abuja CAN Chairman, Rev. Jonah Samson and his Northcentral counterpart, Rev. Israel Akanji, spotted in a viral video, pledging their allegiance to the COZA senior Pastor who was accused of rape by Mrs. Busola Dakolo and another anonymous lady.
However CAN disowned the actions seen in the video clip – where its officials pay a solidarity visit to the COZA Senior Pastor – saying it knew nothing about it.
Reacting to the statement by CAN, Timi Dakolo shared a screenshot of their statement and said the ‘THE TRUTH ALWAYS WIN….‘.
Nigerian music icon, Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke’s house located on Esther Adeleke street in Lekki, Lagos state was gutted by fire recently.
An eyewitness shared that the fire started on Tuesday afternoon at about 13:00pm at the pent house of the building.
The fire service officials were alerted and they were able to quickly put out the fire before it spread to other sections of the house. No casualty was recorded in the incident.
Tonto Dikeh’s Ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, yesterday responded to an Instagram user who made a passionate appeal for him to reach out to Tonto who according to her is ”broke and is being ridiculed online”.

Actress Dayo Amusa has jumped to the defense of her industry colleague as she is appalled by the attitude of Tonto Dikeh’s ex-bestfriend, Blessing Osom, who in a post released yesterday, narrated how she linked Tonto to a man who used to give her money and also how she allegedly fed Tonto and provided for her when they were still besties. Wizkid third babymama, Jada P has called out the singer and accused him of Domestic Violence in their relationship.
Jada has been defending Wizkid for many years from allegations from his other baby mamas, but she had declared that she is tired of defending him.
In a post she shared on her Instagram story, Jada says Wizkid beats her a lot, and sometimes leaves her with bruises on her body.
“From today I and Ayo no longer work together. I’ve been in an abusive relationship with him for years, covering up for him time and time again. I am tired.”
“Wiz continuously puts his hands on me, leaves me with bruises that I cover up from he world including my friends and family. It often feels like we are at war in the same house”

Last Sunday night, a thief broke into a church in Nyandarua County, Uganda and afterwards wrote a letter apologizing for his action
The thief wrote the letter after discovering that there was no cash in the church – the incident comes few months after members of the public lynched three suspected criminals who specialize in stealing from the churches.
During the Sunday incident at the Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) Church in Engineer Township, the criminal wrote a letter addressed to the church regretting that he had found no money despite having been informed by a worshiper that some good amount of money had been left there.
“I was sent here by one of your fellow Christians who told me that the amount of money has been kept inside the church. But I got nothing. God bless you all and pray for me. Thanks,” read the letter.

19 year old Obi of Ubulu-Uku kingdom in Delta state, Obi Chukwuka Noah Ofulue has graduated from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom today, Tuesday July 16th, 2019.
The monarch said to not be the youngest in history of the state, bagged a degree in Law at the school’s convocation ceremony which was attended by his family.
Although, Obi Akaeze I is described to currently be the youngest monarch in the country – he was installed as King in February 2016 following the death of his father, Obi Akaeze Edward Ofulue III who was kidnapped and subsequently murdered in January of the same year.
His father, Late Akaeze Edward Ofulue III was kidnapped on 5 January 2016 along Igbodo-Obior road in Delta State for a ransom of N100 million.
His decomposed body was discovered at Umunede, Ika North East LG 15 days later. There are speculations that suspected Fulani herdsmen murdered him.
Following the report of a building that collapsed in the Plateau capital recently, a rescue team comprising of the Plateau State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), the Nigerian Red Cross and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corpse (NSCDC) on Tuesday recovered 12 bodies from the rubles of the residential house in Jos.
The combined effort of the team had on Monday evening recovered 4 bodies – on the resumption of the search-and-rescue on Tuesday morning, the team discovered six more bodies including those of the owner of the three-storey apartment Alhaji Kabiru Nalele popularly known as ‘Sariki’ (King) within the environment.
The owner of the apartment visited as usual when the building collapsed killing him, his two wives and nine others. It was learnt the three-storey apartment’s ground floor was used as shops while the two floors were used as residential.
The ground floor contained a pharmaceutical store that deals with retail and wholesale drugs.
Junni Bala, Director of Search and Rescue, Plateau State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) said: “The two-storey building located at Butcher Line, Dilimi in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State fell at about 6pm local time trapping many.
“Rescuers recovered four corpses on Monday night from the rubble before discovering six others on Tuesday. Four other people were critically injured in the disaster”

Now, she’s spilling a whole lot about her relationship with Tonto revealing how the actress used to be depressed and how much she’s had to borrow her money.

When people talk about running away from friends like me, i’m amused, but i doubt Tonto Dike will ever have a friend like me. I refused to discuss my issue with Tonto because I wanted to be matured about it. I think there is need to clarify issues for concerned parties.
A year ago I posted a picture of my meal on my DM and Tonto commented about coming to eat and also added she would like us to talk about doing business together. I responded to the Dm by saying it’s fine. Hours later, Tonto drove in with a friend and we had lunch. She made mention of her doing an empowerment program which they needed money, but because the event was close and in two days, i was only able to raise 500k which was the only funds used for the event.
Till date,Tonto has not empowered the graduating students. Tonto also told me she needed money for rent because of the pressure she was getting from the facility management, I had to introduce her to someone who helped in sorting the rent and the person was constantly giving her millions of Naira.
Tonto never had food in her house for herself and workers asides her son’s food. I made sure that we constantly sent food to her house and never allowed her to cry as she was always depressed. I was a friend that left my car for Tonto because she never had a good car to befit a celebrity as she claims.
Please ask Tonto if she had ever used her money anytime we were out together? She will always bring up excuses like…” I forgot my ATM or my PA didn’t come out with my ATM. I knew she didn’t have cash and I was always willing to cover her up. Most times when she goes for an event, she will invite all the media houses but will never have any money at hand to pay. At the end of the day, She will move to my restaurant and will ask me to help her pay which I’ll eventually pay
Now fast forward to her SA invitation. She had a church invitation but didn’t have funds for the trip, I personally took Tonto to church, prayed with her for God to have mercy and turn around things. I personally paid in 4m to her account (i have proof) to facilitate the trip cause it was prayers answered. On reaching the embassy, Tonto was not with her Visa fee.
I knew she didn’t have the funds, I paid visa fee for 4 of us meant for the trip and also paid for the VIP lounge which she was not allowed to enter without payment. Prior to this, Tonto borrowed 300k from me which she never paid until we got to SA.
I personally brought my designer bags, cloths, Jewelries for Tonto to use for the event. After the event, she started giving me attitude just because she never wanted to share any money with me. (take note it was a church event and nothing else) I was never upset with her cause money doesn’t matter at all to me. Tonto is a very pleasant person anytime she wants something from you.
After all Tonto did to me, guess what? she went ahead to blackmail me and my restaurant. The same restaurant she was eating from. She went to all the ladies in Abuja including the one that had a restaurant to promote them and also say negative things about my person.
Tonto was basically looking for all my enemies to make friends with. I did not complain?
So why is she and some people upset because i am friends with Churchill? I can never inherit Tonto’s enemies because i know she’s not a good person. While we were friends, I know Tonto has a lot of fake account which she uses online to insult people she has issues with. I read comments of people online saying i am bad, that i am jealous of Tonto and also sleeping with Churchill!
Hey am too busy for such.Please LET US BE CLEAR ON THIS, Tonto never introduced me to Churchhill, he came on his own with his friends to eat in my restaurant. This happened before she tried being friends with me just to use me. It was my birthday and for God’s sake “ A gift is a gift”. Tonto is used to paying people evil for good, but I know that God in heaven isn’t asleep, he will surely pay both of us back in our own coin. Let him be the judge. I rest my case.
An Elderly Malaysian woman is currently nursing serious injuries to her face after she was allegedly assaulted by her grand daughter’s husband for not stopping his 8-month-old daughter from crying.
Jasin District police chief Deputy Superintendent Arshad Abu said the victim suffered injuries to her forehead and bruises to both eyes in the 6am incident on Monday.
He said the victim was being treated at Jasin Hospital and would be referred to Melaka Hospital to be checked by an eye specialist, adding that she was at risk of losing her eyesight due to the seriousness of her injuries.
“Initial investigations found that before the incident, the victim’s granddaughter was in the room, and the baby was crying in the living room. The suspect then used abusive words and alleged that the victim was not taking care of the baby before hitting her until she fell. Soon after assaulting her, the suspect fled with his wife and child,” he said.
The suspect, who did not have a permanent job, and his wife had been staying with the victim since they were married. Their expenses were fully borne by the victim who worked as a cook at an Islamic school canteen for RM250 monthly salary.
The police detained the 24-year-old suspect in Bachang at 11pm the same day, adding that he tested positive for drug abuse.
The suspect had a criminal record for two previous drug offences, he said, adding that the case was being investigated under Section 325 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt.

President Buhari has sent a message to his critics, after he being lambasted for allegedly having a loss of nerve or confidence in tackling the widespread security challenge in the country.
Receiving the National Executives of the Buhari Campaign Organisation, BCO, at the Presidential Villa Abuja, the President said that those criticizing the isolated cases of insecurity in the country were not patriotic Nigerians.
The President claimed the critics were unpatriotic, by pointing out that countries around the world are facing one security challenge or the other.
This is coming barely a day after former President, Olusegun Obasanjo in his open letter to President Buhari, alleged that the widespread insecurity in the country is “eroding the root of our Nigerian community.”
He also accused President Buhari of “poor management or mismanagement of diversity” which he said led to a “very onerous cloud that is gathering”.
Music Executive, Ubi Franklin has replied critics deflecting his claim of not being responsible for reality TV star, TBoss’ pregnancy.
Recall the music executive had in the interview with Daddy Freeze disclosed that he never planned having his kids with different women, and would have loved to have them all under same roof. Controversial Ghanaian actress, Xandy Kamel, has disclosed that she became sexually active in Primary 4.
The actress made the disclosure while debunking assertions of being desperate for fame. Appearing on the “After Hours show”, Xandy Kamel recalled being popular in her hometown and also in secondary school.
She told host Kwame Oboadie ;
“…I’m not a desperado because where I started from…I made my name in my hometown way back. I was a household name while in Secondary school, I was in class four when I started fornicating, oh yes.
