A Nigerian Lady has taken to her Twitter page to give the narrative of how her father almost disowned her after he found out that she was pregnant while she was still in College in Canada.
She shared how she was scared and having suicidal thoughts in revealing to her parents and how things finally turned around for her after she finally found the courage to inform her mom first.
Read her narrative below,
Left my house cause the internet told me stores open at 7:30am. The internet lies.
But since I’m here and it’s Father’s Day let me tell you how my dad disowned me when he found out I was pregnant.
I was STREZZED!
After spending a summer fornicating (mostly safely but I was young and stupid and one particular day I drank a whole bottle of vodka… aniyoop!)
Went back to uni in Canada and like a week later had a random fever and backache. My first thought was… “oh shit I’m pregnant!”
But being a mature yout I said if I ignore it o ma disappear. Just don’t think about it. So I left it for like one week.
Then I was like “okay it must be gone!” Bought a test from shoppers. That little fucker gave me 2 lines. I said “nah b! You a liar. I’m going to the clinic”
Went to Uwaterloo clinic. My doc knew me well cause I’m a slight hypochondriac. I said “Doc the rest said I’m pregnant!” Not that I’m pregnant you know.
20 minutes later doctor says “you’re pregnant. What do you want to do?”
Now I was STRONGLY prolife.
So I had one option
Called my boyfriend. This fool was HELLA HYPE! Talking about “we’re gonna be a family, this is dope, we’re gonna get married, you’ll be the best mom, omg I can’t wait!”
Stupid me i was like “Yea! I can do this! It’ll be great!”
But not so stupid cause Yoruba babe sha
Didn’t tell anyone but him. Every damn day for two weeks I was like “call your parents!” And then I’d be like … or maybe just drop off the surface of the earth. Maybe if I pretend to die they never have to know.
Sha gathered courage and called momsi cause calling popsi…???
Me: “Mum, please don’t scream. I’m pregnant” (exact words)
Mum: hmmm
Me: silent tears
Mum: Femi is the father
Me: yes ma
Mum: hmmmm
Mum: I’ll call you back.
I knew then that I was dead. Cause I’ll call you back can only ever mean I’m going to talk to my husband.
Like an hour later my father calls me. I literally haven’t moved in that hour. Sitting on my green couch with my phone in my hand.
Me: Hello?
My loving father: YOU HAVE DISGRACED US!!! YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! YOU ARE NO LONGER A PART OF THIS FAMILY! DO NOT CALL US!!! GOODBYE!!!
My guy didn’t even give me space to speak, just shouted and hung up.
Cue Imoteda’s Nollywood debut!
I cried and screamed. I literally curled up in a doorway and cried till my throat was raw.
Then I called my brother to tell him I was pregnant and disowned.
My older brother was just like “you’re pregnant? You don’t mean it!”
Then I was like please focus on the important part, I’m disowned!!!
Bless his heart he just shrugged it off… like “you know your father is emotional. Give him time. Are you the 1st to be pregnant? Abeg chill”
4 hours after disownment: Imoteda gets on her laptop. Still ugly crying btw. Googles countries Canadian PR can move to. Mexico! Starts googling flight tickets and apartments and jobs.
My dumb ass really thought I was gonna move to Mexico pregnant and start a new life. Eediat
7 hours after disownment: now sitting in the dark rocking back and forth regretting calling my mom. Haven’t eaten since I called her and my stomach is screaming. So I decide if I starve long enough the baby will die and my dad will undisown me.
I clearly wasn’t thinking clearly
8 hours after disownment: I’m laying on the floor in the hallway with the apartment phone and cellphone beside my head. My brother has called to make sure I haven’t done anything stupid.
My phone rings: it’s my dad. I stare at it like a snake. I’m not falling for this shit again
I didn’t pick o! Cause clearly I’m daft.
He calls back.
Me: hello sir (cause he’s now a sir as he’s no longer my father)
Dad: will you stay in school?
Me: YES SIR!
Dad: okay. We will support you and your child. We love you.
Me: OMG THANK YOU.
*cue ugly tears again!”
And that ladies and gentlemen is how for 8 hours a girl had no name cause her father disowned her.
Side note: I obviously promptly dropped out of school the next term cause who the fuck tryna be 8 months pregnant walking to campus???
Can I tell y’all how my dad was the most involved Grandpa. Calling after every doctors appointment. Did full photo shoot when I came home for Christmas. Did testimony in church (clearly a special man)
Moved heaven and earth to be there for my delivery. He missed it by like 1hr
Anyways. Shalla to ABA. We don’t always get along but he loves me (all his kids) more than life and does the best he knows how.
And he is the absolute best grandpa to Rayne. Forever spoiling her.
Happy Father’s Day daddy!!! (He’s blocked so he’ll never see this. Lmao)
Okay I’m back!!! Lmao
So this thread was about dad but I gotta shalla to my mum and my Aunty.
1) Mum- I asked her how she could let him disown me. Mumsi said that’s his own business. She did not disown anybody. Lmfao. My guy was carrying shoulder while his wife was like
2) Mummy Lamide- my dads older sister. Mumsi called her to tell her that her brother is turnioniown. My Aunty wore gele and wore wrapper and came to tackle her brother.
She apparently tore into him (my cousin gave me the gist with glee, no one talks to my dad anyhow)
She went all the way off and was like “you can disown her and we will disown you too! Are you not happy you have a daughter that can talk to you! What if she died trying to get abortion… etc etc etc”
After several months of teasing and hint dropping, MultiChoice Nigeria announced the kick-off date of the famous reality TV show to cheering audience across Africa.
In the last three months, Pulse has consistently reported exclusive hints on the reality TV show and plans by the organisers.
Pulse findings revealed that true to the audience expectations for this season, the organisers are putting all in place to make the show surpass the previous seasons.
Here are some of the spoilers from the Big Brother Naija Season 4.
BBNaija 4’s theme and decor will be ‘spicy’
For every edition of BBNaija, the theme is announced at the opening night by the host. Similarly, from BBNaija’s first edition, the show’s theme usually determines the décor of the house. The last edition’s theme was ‘Double Wahala’ and this gave rise to the pairing of the housemates for a long time. The edition before ‘Double Wahala’ was themed ‘See GoBBe’ and the house activities were structured around the theme. For the fourth edition, the BBNaija house will have more feel of the Naija culture. We were reliably informed that the fourth edition’s theme, which is being bandied about town as ‘Forget Wahala,’ is not the official theme. According to sources, the 2019 edition’s theme will be Naija-flavoured like the past two editions. The source further hinted ‘Hot Pepper’ as the possible theme of the fourth edition judging from the spicy hot adverts.
A celebrity housemate might join the housemates
In February 2018, Pulse did an exclusive expose on a number of Nollywood stars that were spotted at the physical audition of the Big Brother Naija 4 in Ikeja, Lagos. Ardent followers of the show have borrowed a leaf to speculate that there is likely to be one or two celebrities as part of the housemates since these celebrities auditioned to be part of the show. Our source was not definitive but the source noted that there is a surprise awaiting audience and it might be a celebrity housemate. Pulse reliably gathered that the housemates of the BBNaija 4 will either be 10 or more.
BBNaija 4 house is custom built with an eviction studio
Pulse can report that the BBNaija house is situated in Lagos state, Nigeria. While the exact location has been kept in secrecy for security purposes, the BBNaija house was built from scratch. Unlike the first edition, which had the house tucked somewhere inside Ikeja GRA, Lagos, the new purpose-built BBNaija house has the house, the production and post-production units, and studio for live shows all in one location. This further tells fans that the show might be running for a long time. Earlier in the year, Multichoice Nigeria’s CEO, John Ugbe had hinted why the show is being held in Nigeria. He said, “Bringing the project back to Nigeria is a big deal for us. People asked us in the past why we didn’t do it in Nigeria, it’s because we had a customized studio for the reality show in South Africa. Now, we have one in Nigeria, which gives us the opportunity to do more here.” An insider also revealed that the audience will be wowed when the studio for the live eviction shows opens. The source said the eviction studio is twice the size of what was used for the last two seasons and this means we can expect bigger performance, greater coverage of audience reactions and other stage and sound production.
Friday night games and Saturday parties
BBNaija is not complete without the Friday night games and the energetic Saturday night parties. And this fourth edition won’t be an exception. Sources hinted that housemates will be turning up big time in the 2019 BBNaija house. Pulse was reliably informed that the Friday night games will be bigger and intriguing and the Saturday night parties will be more uproarious than expected. To this end, a purpose-built in-house club and game arena have been completed.
The audience stands to gain more with predictions
One particularly possible prediction – as earlier reported by Pulse – is about what viewers stand to get with BetNaija partnering BBNaija. Our sources hinted that fans will be winning prizes if they predict correctly events relating to who will be the Head of House, who gets evicted at what week and who eventually wins the show. There are possibilities of these events being put on Bet9ja betting sites for the matured audience to bet on and increase their fortunes aside voting online and via text messages.

Stanlee Allyn Holbrook, 26, a Pennsylvania woman, jumped to her death off of the Homestead Grays Bridge around 7:20 p.m. on Friday. Authorities said her body was recovered around 9:15 p.m.
Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesman, Chris Togneri said in a statement that emergency responders were called after multiple witnesses reported seeing a woman standing on the outer bridge railing.
“The woman stopped her vehicle in traffic on the bridge and went to the railing. Police discovered three children, between the ages of 1 and 9, still in the vehicle.”
Initial reports stated that they were unsure if the children belonged to Holbrook. But her friends have confirmed on social media that the children were hers.

A Nigerian man identified as Adenrele has revealed how he was rescued alongside his uncle, by some Fulani Herdsmen in Ondo State.
According to the man they were traveling along the Owo-Ifon Road in the state when they were kidnapped by some hefty men who didn’t in any way look like herdsmen.
Let me share a kidnap story we experienced two days ago in Ondo state. Listen folks, I don’t know about other stories making round the news about herdsmen kidnapping people on the highway, but they’re certainly not herdsmen.
This personally happened two days ago along Owo-Ifon express way in Ondo state, we headed for this journey as early as 7am, on getting to Ipele junction of that same axis after Elegbeka(for those conversant with that route) at a pothole a group of hefty men numbering about 4
Came from the bush, threw some woods on the road before the pothole stopped us and ordered the four of us in our car. May I chip in this,my uncle who was at the wheel already told us before we started the journey how the rate kidnapping is on the rise. Infact while on our journey
We listened to the news about a LG chairman or who was shot by herdsmen along Ikire in Osun state who was heading to Ibadan. Whenever we approached any pothole, he sped past without hesitating if the car was gonna break down or if the tire would burst.
But at this particular Spot, those hefty men already threw that wood so we won’t be able to go past it. They came out, pointed heavy guns at us, left our car at that spot, these men didn’t look like herdsmen, within me, I began to wonder if that would certainly be the end, a whole lot of thoughts ran Through my mind, one of them led us with a gun, the two were beside us at both sides, one behind us, all held on to their guns firmly, we walked through the bush path for like an hour without getting to any point where we were going to meet anyone.
We got to a stream, they stopped and one of them said he was pressed he was allowed to go defecate, we were left with 3 men. After walking that long, we were exhausted, we sat down with our hands tied to our legs, at this point no I was already saying my last prayers.
They asked us if we had anyone who was going to rescue us, don’t forget we’re yet to get to their “camp” as alleged, we sat by that stream. But luckily for us,I sighted a little boy who isn’t more than 10yrs old, looking tattered, on sighting this boy, he left and my mind skipped
The other guy who went to defecate came back and they cracked jokes, they untied us, at that point, they already collected our phones, but I had my other Android phone in the car. I couldn’t move at that point, they hit the gun on my butt. We came to a little hut.
Their leader was right there and 5 others were already kidnapped tied to trees. Mind you, I sighted a little boy at that stream, not knowing the little boy traced and followed us. After spending like 3hours with heavy torture at the hands of those criminals, that little boy came
At this point with 7 men herdsmen came with that little boy, they rescued us all. They were all speaking in their language either they were making incantations I wouldn’t say, they collected those guns and shot two men at the spot.
At this point I was literally in heaven I didn’t know when I urinated on my body, the others fled including their leader, they took their knives and cut those ropes. They led us through the bush path till we got to Oriohin one other village along that axis. We took a cab that brought us back to the spot where our car Was parked.
At this point,we don’t know if we should continue our journey to the village or head back to Akure. I was speechless all through the journey till we got to the village. When we got to the village it was my uncle who narrated our ordeal at the hands of those miscreants.
I just regained my sanity yesterday. I don’t know about other kidnap happening across the country, but ours wasn’t even herdsmen but hefty men who don’t look like herdsmen. As a matter of fact, herdsmen were those that rescued all of us.
We were actually heading to the village for Project. Those men rescued us without charging us a dime. They left their own hut with their cows and when we got to that village where we took a vehicle back to where our car was parked, my uncle gave them 20k from what he had on him as part of the project money.
The Lagos State Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Bala Elkana, has warned Nigerians to desist from buying stolen phones.
According to him, “under our laws, it is quite a serious offence for one to buy stolen phones. The law even regards the buyer to be more culpable than even the thief. The punishment is more for the buyer than the thief. The wisdom behind that is to discourage people from stealing because if there is no market where they would sell those stolen things, they would not steal them but because they have a ready market, they easily steal.
He went on to say;
“This is why the law makes the punishment stiffer for the buyer. The person who steals may get three years punishment, while the buyer could get seven years imprisonment and at the end, he will lose the property once we trace it to him.
For a person to avoid buying stolen property, it is advisable that he buys things in the open market and not on the street or people who are just passing and not dealing in such wares.”
Explaining how a case of purchasing stolen phones can be checked, Elkana said: “The most important thing when we charge a buyer to court is to look at whether he has knowledge that that thing he bought was a stolen property. How do we test the knowledge? What is the market value and how much did he buy it? If the market value is N100 and you buy it N10, automatically, you will know that you are buying a stolen property.
Secondly, we would check where he bought it. Was it in a regular market where such items are sold or he just bought it on the road from somebody? “That is enough for him to know that he is not buying something that is genuine.
Thirdly, we would check the time of the day that he bought the phone. These are important things we look at when we are investigating to check whether the person has knowledge that the phone was stolen or not.”
The PPRO also said the Police is working with banks to check fraud. “If you look at the security arrangements in banks, it is such that apart from internal bank security officers who are well trained, we also have our personnel working closely with them.

Sharing the photos, she wrote:
The man of my heart, the man who truly values the term FATHER, amazing father to our kids. I loved you when I met you, now that you are the father to our kids; I love you more than ever. Life isn’t always easy, but there is no one that I would rather celebrate the good times with and whether the storms with. I remember that chilly day you proposed with that huge Diamond, oh! that moment was breathtaking.
You held me both hands on our first date, held my hand during the birth of our kids, and now you continue to hold my hand through this beautiful thing we call life. I can’t imagine anyone else being there to hold my hand.
Thank you for all the ways you go above and beyond every day for our family. The kids and I are so lucky to have you as a husband/father. I’m so grateful to be sharing life, love and parenthood with a wonderful man like you. So glad you were with me for this fun and crazy ride. I can’t imagine anyone who’s a better father or more loving husband than you. Turns out, it IS possible for a man to look extremely sexy carrying a diaper bag. Seeing what a great dad you’ve been till now, makes me love you more.
There is a popular adage that says “whatever that does not break us will end up only making us stronger.” Mr. Abiodun Orebela and his wife, Lola, from Ogun State, stand today as living examples of the adage. This is because the couple who reside at No. 88 Maruwa Road, Satellite Town, Lagos, just had a baby after waiting for 10 years.
There is no doubt that the painful experiences they passed through during the waiting period was meant to break them and strain their relationship built on mutual love and respect, but instead it ended up making their union stronger.
How the problem began
After their well-celebrated wedding in July 2007, the two had their first baby in the same year. It was when Lola became pregnant with the second baby that the problem began. Her bodily feelings and signs showed that she was pregnant but gynaecological tests at both public and private hospitals posted negative and, sometimes, inconclusive results. And the confusion that ensued within the intervening years was to cost them not only their possessions, but also the honour and respect of people they love and the ones that love them.
But ten years down the line, God wiped away their tears by making it possible for Lola to be delivered of the 10-year -old pregnancy. They named the baby Miraculous. In a chat with Saturday Sun, they narrated how it happened.
Abiodun’s story: “We got married in July 2007 and had our first baby in October 2007. But after our first child, my wife took in about a year later. She registered for antenatal care and it went on for a year. When the test kept posting inconclusive results at Ajeromi General Hospital, Ajegunle, we decided to try a private hospital. Yet the issue remained unresolved.
“In fact, it went on for three years. In all the hospitals we attended, doctors and nurses told us to go and flush the womb because there was nothing there but my wife kept telling me that she could feel the baby moving within her. We started going from church to church. We started with Synagogue, then MFM and lastly we ended up in a native doctor/herbalist house at Ajangbadi. Rather than raise up my hope, the herbalist told me that my wife was going to die.”
The mystery intensified when they got to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and after going through scan, they were told that there was no sign of any baby in Lola’s womb, contrary to her insistence. Nobody could explain what was amiss. Who does one believe: the woman whose menses has suddenly ceased after she supposedly took in or the hospital tests that continue to post results that seem to contradict that fact? Confusion had never come to the couple in such manner and measure before!
“When we went to LUTH, we were told that there was nothing in the scan,” Abiodun recalled. “The situation almost divided the family. They told her that she should leave me because I was impotent, that I cannot impregnate a woman. There was pressure from my side too, especially from my mother, to look for another wife.”
Battling with a nightmare
Lola who once lived at Oke Aregba in Ita-Osin, Abeokuta, but also sold clothes at Balogun Market, Lagos, said: “If not for God and my husband, I would have died. My sister had prepared another man for me to marry. I was a cloth merchant in Balogun. I also frequent Ghana to buy clothes. My big sister gave me the option of leaving my husband. But I refused because she was not married. The first scan was inconclusive but the blood test showed that I was pregnant. I had stopped menstruating. My tummy was fluctuating. Sometimes it would grow big, other times it would become small. We went to see an Alfa in Ajegunle.”
The search for the solution to this mystery, from one place to another, from the church to native doctors’ homes, from there to hospitals, public and private, rendered the fairly well-to-do family poor. Abiodun added. “We have a car that was given to me but when the problem started, we sold it . In the course of seeking for solution the unorthodox way, I was told to buy a lot of things. We bought a cow, a lot of rams, fowls and hens. I sold all the things we had in my parlour. We were sleeping on the bare floor. There was a half plot of land somewhere. We had to sell it.”
His wife, Lola, remembered that “there were days he would come home and say that he needed to buy goats and fowls and we would sell our wares. There was a day he sold his best outing clothes to raise money to buy a goat for the herbalist.”
The search for the solution to the pregnancy mystery, in the course of time, became demanding and financially sapping that it alienated Abiodun from many political engagements and friends and loved ones.
He recalled the scorn their situation attracted to them from far and wide. “Friends betrayed me,” he sighed. “I was very shy to narrate the story to people. The few who noticed avoided us like a plague. My wife was always in the house. I was the one going to the market. It got to a point that a lady who we owed in our former house started insulting us. The woman said I could not take care of one child that God has given me. Every day my wife was in pain. She cried because of the insults she received and for the constant pain in her tummy.”
Divine solution, at last, to a seemingly intractable problem
It was while they were going through the harrowing experience that they were introduced to Prophet Favour Ugochukwu, the founder of Jesus Resurrection Prayer Ministry, Lagos. It is inexplicable, both the pregnancy thing and what followed after the contact! Through prayers, he and his fellow pastors eventually got Lola delivered of the baby after 10 years of pregnancy. Today, the couple has become members of his ministry.
As Lola sat besides her husband, during the chat with Saturday Sun, she was all smiles as she cuddled in her arms Baby Miraculous. And on her lap, sat the results of some of the scans she had over they years to prove the points she made during the chat. Today, they are nothing but relics of the past and the pains they went through all the years.
Recalling what happened on the day of the delivery, long after everybody had given up hope that she was truly pregnant, she said it was the presence of her neighbours and husband that saved her life when the labour suddenly started without prior warning. “There was a neighbour who was a matron, Mrs Tijani and one Mama Chioma that helped me with the child before I was rushed to a local hospital,” she said. “My husband also played a big role. He was with me throughout.”
“When they started attending the church a year and two weeks ago, I saw their challenges and I had the hope there was going to be a solution,” Prophet Ugochukwu said when contacted for his comment. “We kept praying and thanked God that their prayers have been answered. The only condition I gave them was that they should keep attending the church programmes.”

The heavy rainfall that occurred in Lagos earlier today, June 15th, 2019 caused a container to fall on multiple cars and the casualty toll remains unknown.
As at the time of filing this report, there’s not been any precise figure as to the casualty from the accident, although some sources say there weren’t any, it can’t be yet confirmed at this time.
In the month of June, the rainfall that has rocked the city of Lagos has caused a high rate of flooding and erosion in the state causing its residents to face inconvenient situations as a result.
Nigeria’s top effeminate, Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju AKA Bobrisky was spotted recently riding on an Okada in one of the busy streets of Lagos.
Passersby who spotted him quickly made a video of him and when he realized that he’d been spotted, he tried to cover his face and his body from the camera.
Giving his status, netizens find it rather unusual that the transvestite would ride on a commercial bike since he’s used to the lavish lifestyle of a prestige personality.
A Nigerian man simply identified as Mr Bayo has been trending on social media, after purported chat between himself and his friend’s wife leaked and surfaced online.
In the chat, the man identified as Bayo asked his friends wife to come keep her company, because A Nigerian man, Mr Bayo has been ‘out of time since Sallah break”
The woman who seemed to be loyal to her husband, told Bayo that she and her children are fine, and she’d not be meeting him anywhere whatsoever, before she then expresed her disappointment in him.
After seeing that the said woman wasn’t interested in his advances, Bayo then mentioned that he was actually testing the woman’s loyalty to her husband, and that she passed the test. But he instructed her not to reveal the conversation to her husband.
Lizzy, 26, a cocaine addict, became a viral sensation, after Pastor Tony Rapu shared her story whose foundation has been working to get her off drugs. Read Here.
Pastor Tony Rapu, who is the senior Pastor of the House of Freedom in Lagos has just released impressive new photos of Lizzy, as he dedicated this year’s Father’s Day to her.
Father’s Day 2019 is dedicated to my spiritual daughter Lizzy who turned 26 in February.
Even though God is ‘Father’, many do not have a positive association with that word because they were raised in dysfunctional homes. For them, ‘father’ triggers painful memories.
So this Father’s Day, let’s be sensitive to those from difficult and painful backgrounds. Many still yearn for positive memories such as running to greet their dad when he returns home from work. This never happened. Some yearn for the father-daughter dance at their wedding. This may never happen with their natural fathers.
Today, let’s reach out in compassion to the physical and spiritual needs of the fatherless, the neglected, abused and abandoned. Let’s cultivate a sensitivity and compassion for children around us who grapple with instability at home. Let’s cherish especially those women who never experienced a father’s affection, by treating them with genuine love and dignity.

A couple are celebrating their divorce after 13 years of marriage.
Following their split, the couple shared the lessons they learnt from their long union.
Read Below;
It’s official. Yesterday our divorce was finalized. After our court hearing we had a celebratory lunch together, ringing in our next season of life as friends and co-parents.
As we reflected on our 13 years of marriage, together we came up with 5 marital lessons we learned along the way:
1) Take the time to REALLY get to know yourself, your purpose, your vision, your priorities, and your core values before committing yourself to someone else for life. Get clear on your non-negotiables and on your deal breakers before saying “I Do”. Otherwise, your newfound vision can create division if it’s not in alignment.
2) Even if you believe you heard from God, there’s no need to rush to the altar. Take your time and enjoy the process of courtship, or you’ll find yourself getting to know each other after you’re already married.
3) Before getting married, make sure your priorities are compatible and don’t ignore core value differences. While marriage takes compromise, there are some things that can’t be compromised. Eventually, either you’ll try to be someone you’re not, or you’ll try to change the other person into someone they’re not and it won’t work.
4) Marriage takes work. Don’t underestimate the amount of work that it takes to build a strong marriage. Go to marriage seminars together before getting married, learn what it really takes, and make sure you’re both willing to put in the work together. If you don’t grow together you’re gonna grow apart.
5) Hindsight is 20/20. We may not be able to change the past, but what we can do is make the best of our current situation and of the future, out of love and respect for ourselves and for our son. Life doesn’t always work out exactly how we planned, but God can still get the glory from our story.
We truly believe all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. God can still make something Good out of our situation. We are both proud of the life we built together over the past 13 years. And through this marriage, the most wonderful miracle was born, Jacob Victorious Bell.
Nigerian entertainer, Falz has reaffirmed his stance in continuing to condemn social vices in his songs, noting that cyber-crime has given Nigerians a horrible image in the international community.
He recently spoke on the matter and he’s quoted as saying,
“I’ve always said it from the beginning and maybe I was the first person to get a backlash on this. I’ve never been a fan of celebrating cyber-crime. When I said it in an interview, it got me a lot of backlash. I will say it again and again; cyber-crime is wrong, cyber- crime is giving us a horrible name especially outside Nigeria” he said.
Falz added that,
‘It’s destroying our youths and a lot of people are feeling it’s the only option. I understand the sentiment of people being not privileged and feeling like they don’t have the opportunity and they feel this is the fastest way to get money. But people are out there actually putting in efforts, toiling, struggling to make it by doing legitimate stuff and not just taking from someone else.
One thing I believe in is that live your life, let others live theirs as long as you living your life does not affect another person negatively. So long as you are taking from someone else, that is an offense even against humanity and it’s bad. I’ve never subscribed to it and I’ve never been a fan of celebrating it”.

Actress, mother et father of one, Tonto Dikeh took a rather huge swipe at a fan who called her son a ‘product of 40 seconds’ on Instagram moments ago.
The troll took to the comment section of the actress when she shared photos of herself and her son, King Andre as she prepared to participate in her son’s school’s father’s day novelty match.
She partly captioned the photos,
‘OFF TO OUR FATHER’S DAY NOVELTY MATCH’.
The said troll then gallantly took to her comment section to call her son a ‘product of 40 seconds’ – a comment the actress didn’t take lightly even though she was the one who stirred it up some weeks back when she stated categorically on social media, that her son’s father is a less than a minute man and the conception of their son was the longest time they had.
Firing back at the troll, the actress wrote in response
‘AND A FUCKING FOOL APPEARS, how sad is your life to troll a 3year old.. DIE BASTARD DIE FOOL’
