Viral video of kids performing stunts on a moving truck in Ghana has caused an uproar online with social media users reminiscing about the stunts which they identified as “Aplanke” in their early days.
The little boys were recorded by an unknown person in a moving vehicle behind the truck, which was carrying a shipping container on the main road while they were hanging and changing their stunt styles with the rails of the container.
The video revealed the boys trailing on the road as they held onto the truck for support to perform their stunts; one of the boys laid on the container upturned.
However, some netizens recalled that the risky act of the boys was very rampant among young boys in their early days, stating that it is normal but a dangerous act while others opined that the kids were meant to be cautioned and punished.

Nigerian actressDoris Ogala has accused a certain clergyman, Pastor Chris Okafor, of attempting to defraud her of N25 million.

Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has penned an open letter addressed to the widow of the deceased Nigerian singer, Wunmi, amid the ongoing DNA saga.
Following Mohbad’s demise, there were requests for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of Liam, the son he left behind.
Mohbad’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, insisted that the singer would not be reburied until the DNA test was conducted.
However, Wunmi insisted that her father-in-law obtain a court order before the DNA test could be carried out.
She also recently declared that she wouldn’t subject her son to the test because Mohbad never doubted his paternity.
In response to the ongoing controversy, Yomi Fabiyi took to his Instagram page to explain to Wunmi why she might consider the DNA test.
He emphasized that since Liam might inherit his father’s estate, she would need to agree to the test to become a custodian of the estate before Liam comes of age.

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has debunked reports that he was arrested in Uganda after his concert.
The singer, who is currently on a world tour, held successful shows in East African countries Uganda and Kenya. However, rumors emerged that he was picked up by police after his performance on Monday, April 1st.

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to flaunt the gifts a bride’s family gifted the couple on their traditional wedding day in Ebonyi state.
Showing in the video, the man noted that the traditional wedding of the couple was holding in Umueziukwu community, Onicha-Igboeze, Ebonyi State.
According to the man, it is the custom of the people to gift their daughter bountiful items to satisfy the bride and also to wish her farewell in her marital life. The bride’s family are bound to gift the newly wedded couple as they traditionally tie the knot.

Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, has finally unveiled the face of their son.
The music minister took to her Instagram page to share lovely family photos of her husband and their adorable son, and expressed gratitude to God.
The photos appeared to be taken during the festive season in December 2023, as there was a Christmas tree in the background.
She captioned the photos, “Thank you JESUS 🙏🏼 You daily make all grace abound unto us❤😍”
The couple, who tied the knot in August 2022, announced the birth of their son in October 2023.

Primeboy, the childhood friend of late Nigerian singer,Mohbad, has taken to social media to call out the singer’s widow, Wunmi.
He challenged her to come forward and tell the world the truth she says she knows about Mohbad’s death or face the music.
Primeboy also filed a petition against Wunmi for alleged threat to life, false accusation, and using men of the police force to coerce him into falsely confessing that he inflicted bodily harm on the late singer.
Sharing a photo of the petition, Primeboy, an upcoming singer wrote,
“I told you to stop mentioning my Name…… You didn’t stop……. Now It is the time to tell the whole World the truth you said you know about what kill your boyfriend (Mohbad)….. Or you face the Music!!!!!!!…………..”
The medical doctor stated that the autopsy would be completed within the next three to four weeks during a coroner’s inquest on Wednesday.
Recall that the singer died on September 12, 2023, at age 27 due to unknown circumstances which resulted in the Lagos state government and masses calling for an investigation to unveil the cause of death.
While speaking at the coroner’s inquest being held at the Ikorodu Magistrate’s Court, Somiari told the coroner Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi that;
“We are expected to get the first set of autopsy results in three to four weeks and re-confirm to authenticate the cause of the death. We searched for multiple possibilities, to check if poison was involved in the death of Mohbad since no actual cause was mentioned. We have a place where items are stored for safety and security of results. There is a procedure for monitoring samples moved abroad.“
Wunmi, the widow of the deceased Nigerian singer Mohbad, has taken to social media to share a series of posts directed at her father-in-law, Mr. Joseph Aloba.
The grieving widow questioned why her father-in-law was hell-bent on defaming her son despite being happy when she gave him the news of her pregnancy.
She explained that she didn’t initially plan to get pregnant, but her father-in-law allegedly had a vision about her giving him a grandson.
According to her, she doesn’t understand why Mr. Joseph has suddenly turned his back on her and her son, despite supporting the pregnancy initially.
“Why is he trying to defame the treasure his son left behind?” Wunmi asks.
The mother of one also questioned if her father-in-law would expect Liam to call him his grandfather after everything that has transpired since Mohbad’s death.
Her outburst comes after the late singer’s dad granted an interview where he reiterated his statement that Mohbad’s remains will not be reburied unless a DNA test is conducted to confirm that he is the biological father of the son he left behind.
In her post, Wunmi also urged her father-in-law to get a court order for the DNA test so that she can finally put all her enemies to shame.
