A 24-year-old man walked into a Bronx police precinct Wednesday night and confessed to murdering his 21-year-old girlfriend, who cops later found dead in his apartment after he gave them permission to search his home.
Angel Esteban Felix Rodriguez calmly walked into the 48th precinct around 6pm and confessed to officers at the station that he killed his girlfriend Indira Ramirez-Rivera two days earlier.
According to the NY Daily News, Rodriguez surrendered his keys to police and permitted them to search the Nelson Avenue apartment the couple shared. When police arrived, they found the body of the young woman in the bedroom, dead of apparent strangulation.
Both friends and neighbors of the couple said that the suspect was prone to violent fits of jealousy and rage, and recalled that police had visited the apartment on several occasions to deal with domestic disputes.
One of Indira’s friends told the Daily News that she had recently decided to leave the relationship.
“She was at my friend’s house on Friday. She wanted to go back to her apartment and pack her stuff and leave him, ” her friend Andy Rodriguez, 18, said. “I didn’t expect him to do anything like this.”
The couple both worked at bars in the Bronx; he was a busboy at Salsa Con Fuego, and she worked at another neighborhood bar.
A neighbor said that the striking young woman often garnered a lot of attention for her beauty which made her boyfriend very jealous and possessive.
“He was very jealous. She was very sexy, and he didn’t like the way she dressed on the street,” said Kenia Miniera, 55, said.
The three-year-old marriage of Nollywood actor, Mofe Duncan, to his Indian wife, Jessica Kakkad, has crashed.
Jessica confirmed it during an InstaStories questions and answers session.
One of her followers asked her: ”Are you married,” she replied, saying: ”Not anymore.”
When asked by another person if she plans on getting married when the right man comes, Jessica replied saying ; “Don’t know yet. I don’t think so but you never know.”
In the same vein, the Nollywood actor, Mofe Duncan, also confirmed that his marriage to his wife, has ended.
The 35-year-old movie star made the confirmation in a statement posted on Instagram on Friday.
“My marriage has been over for over a year as I have remained cordial with both families and would continue to remain cordial as God guides me,” he wrote in parts.
He said that he had been waiting for the right time to announce the news and insisted that he was doing well.
The buff actor thanked his fans for their concern and all the support he has received.
The couple had an issue in 2016 when a leaked chat showed the actor flirting with a lady identified as Zainab.
This was barely a year after their marriage.
According to the leaked chat shared by Instablog9ja the actor was flirting via Instagram DM with a lady with the handle @queen_wizzy1.
The lady tells Mofe that she would rape him black and blue while the actor in return paid compliments on her huge breasts.
Moments after the chat got released on the net, Mofe Duncan and his wife took to Instagram to show support for each other, slamming reports of marital problem for the actor, as he shared lovely photos of their name tags on wedding cards as they made preparations to mark their first wedding anniversary.
A Nigerian man, Edet Ayiasi, reportedly killed his childhood friend, Frank Ohiozua, out of jealously.
The deceased, Frank Ohiozua – a keyboardist who worked with many musicians – had been gifted a car by his elder brother to be using for Uber, but his childhood friend, Edet Ayiasi, became jealous of the development and connived with two other people to have him killed.
Edet Ayiasi and two others abducted Frank in January 2019, whisking him to a bush in Idiroko, Ogun State, where he was macheted to death. The killer would later start telling their mutual friends that Frank had sold his car and traveled out of the country.
Meanwhile, not done, Edet started calling the deceased’s brother to demand for ransom, while he gave out the car to someone to be using for cab business. The brother, however, played along and requested for a bank account to pay to.
The account details of the suspect’s wife was eventually provided and the police used it to track her down to Oreyo Igbogbo, Ikorodu, where she was arrested alongside Edet’s dad.
Seeing that the game was up Edet Ayiasi, turned himself in at the police station, yesterday, and confessed to the killing.
A young lady identified as Adaeze Clara, has been forced to raise an alarm online after being linked with the sex romp saga which saw three students of Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Imo State, and a lady killed in the process.
For some days now, Adaeze Clara’s pictures have been trending online as being the lady among the students who engaged in drunken, Tramadol-fueled foursome sex, which led to their deaths.

The group sex took place at the Sunshine Castle Hostel, Ihiagwa, Owerri, Imo State, involving the lady identified as Onyinyechi Okafor, and three other male students of FUTO.
Onyinyechi Okafor was identified as a student at the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, also in Imo State. The victims died after allegedly taking Tramadol tablets and Indian hemp before embarking on the group sex.
According to reports, Miss Okafor was buried on Thursday at her hometown in Ihiala, Anambra State. It was gathered that her course mates were forbidden from attending the funeral by the school authorities.
An undergraduate at Miss Okafor’s school said that the institution’s management barred her course mates from attending her burial.
The Rector of the institution, Michael Arimanwa, it was learnt, threatened that any student of the school who attends the burial would be sanctioned.
He (rector) was said to have been irked by the shameful circumstance leading to the death of the female undergraduate.

Late rapper, Nipsey Hussle’s mother revealed the last conversation she had with her son via text message before he was murdered in Los Angeles.
Angelique Smith shared this to a crowd of about 21,000 people at the memorial service held for her son at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
Keeping her composure as she dressed in an all-white gown and matching ruffled hat, Nipsey Hussle’s mother told the crowd:
“My heart feels as if there’s possibly heaviness in your heart and soul”.

She recalled texting Nipsey Hussle on March 30 — the day before has gunned down.
“Ermias says, ‘No mom. I’m A-1.’ That’s what he would always tell me,” Smith recalled,

Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, the presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), has announced his withdrawal from partisan politics, as he labels the Nigerian youth “the biggest disappointment.”

President Buhari will depart Abuja Saturday for N’Djamena, capital of Chad Republic to participate in the Extraordinary Session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States, CEN-SAD.
Created by the Treaty of Tripoli on February 4, 1998 with six founding members, Nigeria joined the current 29-member regional economic community in 2001 which seeks mainly to create a free trade area in Africa, as well as “strengthen peace, security and stability, and achieve global economic and social development of its members.”
Delegations from 22 member-nations are expected at the extraordinary meeting of CEN-SAD holding on Saturday at the Radisson Blu Hotel, N’Djamena. President Buhari and other regional leaders will join their host and current Chairperson of CEN-SAD Conference, President Idriss Deby Itno to deliberate among others on political and security issues, state of peace and ways to address multifaceted threats in CEN-SAD area especially Boko Haram and refugees; and make a declaration on the entry into force of CEN-SAD revised Treaty intended to fast track the realisation of the objectives of the body.
During the opening Session of the Conference, special Awards will be given to Heads of State and Military contingents in Mali, Sudan, Somalia, Central African Republic and in the Lake Chad Basin.
President Buhari will be accompanied to the CEN-SAD meeting by Governors Kashim Shettima, Akinwunmi Ambode and Adegboyega Oyetola of Borno, Lagos and Osun States respectively.

Instagram Comedian, Etinosa Idemudia has just revealed how singer MC Galaxy lured her into stripping on an Instagram live video session on March 16, 2019.
While speaking to BBC Pidgin, the young divorcee said she felt totally broken for the first 24 hours after her n*de video went viral.
“The next day, I wished I didn’t expose my nudity online. My brain was filled with regrets but I had to let go,” she said.
She debunked rumours that she is suffering from depression but admitted that she is dealing with personal issues just like every human being.
“I’m not depressed. We all have our personal challenges and struggles” she said.
She explained the drama would have been less complicated if MC Galaxy had deleted the adult video from his Instagram profile to prevent more people from seeing it and downloading it. She has also refused to blame him or hold grudges against the struggling singer on the spread of the disgraceful video.
She further revealed that she never planned to strip naked online. According to her, MC Galaxy reached out to her multiple times to join his live video session where ladies engage in obscenities.
She said ;
“To my shock, MC Galaxy kept calling me to join him on his live video session on Instagram. His action really surprised me because he has been involved in controversies concerning a previous live video. He had earlier said he was done with the live video session. My comments about going Unclad in the comment section of his page were mere jokes” she also added.
“After the first round of MC Galaxy’s nude video session on that fateful day, he called my phone number a second time reminding me of joining him and at that point, I wasn’t in my right senses. I was drunk. I kept hearing voices in my head prompting me to take off my clothes and show my body to the waiting audience”.
In all, Etinosa revealed that she will blame herself for everything as she is responsible for her actions.
Etinosa also added that she has been on a damage control measure since the nude video went viral. She set up a team that has been approaching media platforms to take down the lewd contents but the major challenge is that many people still have it on their phones.
IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the intimate video of himself and his wife which leaked online few days ago.
The video purportedly shows the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and his wife having a private moment in a bedroom – his wife was clad in only her underwear as she filmed herself and her husband getting intimate.
Sadly, the video got out and was seen by millions. Reacting to the video, Nnamdi Kanu shared more beautiful videos of his wife and wrote:

Actor, Mofe Duncan has released a statement confirming that his marriage to his wife, Jessica, is over.

Mofe Duncan and Jessica got married in August 2015 and had an issue in 2016 when a leaked chat showed the actor flirting with a lady identified as Zainab.
The couple brushed past the episode and got stronger as seen by a message shared by Jessica when they celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary.
A stark follower of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has released bedroom pictures of himself and his wife, in a bid to show allegiance with the pro-Biafran group leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who made headlines hours ago over a viral romantic video with his wife.
The IPOB member identified as Victor Stan revealed that he decided to share pictures from his honeymoon after “haters” tried to shame his ‘master’ Nnamdi Kanu over the trending video.
In the video, the IPOB leader who is currently in London, can be seen relaxing with his half-naked wife on the bed as she filmed both of them together.
Mrs. Kanu also showed off her body in her underwear in front of the camera as the couple enjoyed the romantic moment together.
Internet users who reacted to the trending footage, have questioned the motive behind the posting of the video online since it was recorded by the IPOB leader’s wife.
While he got the world in hysteria and shock for the past weeks for being resurrected and dying again, all that Thabiso Proud Mlanje who is popularly known as “Brighton Elliot Moyo” has left are deep wounds among his family back in Zimbabwe that they do not know when and how they will be healed.
Thabiso who was 28 years old at the time of his death shocked his family because soon after they buried him at his late father’s homestead in Dandanda Village in Lupane under Chief Mabhikwa they were summoned by the police who revealed to them that he was wanted for fraud in connection with his “resurrection” back in South Africa.
“We didn’t know that he had died and resurrected. Trouble started after the funeral because the police arraigned us and told us that he had been wanted for fraud,” said Thabiso’s father-in-law, Bernard Mayendayenda Sibanda.
A grief-stricken Bernard said his son-in-law had caused him so much trouble.

“I am still in great distress because of what my son-in law did. I have had to deal with the police concerning his whole resurrection scheme and now since he is dead I have to answer questions I don’t know. It causes me pain because I didn’t know anything about what happened in South Africa. This man has put me and my family in so much trouble”.
Thabiso’s grandmother Emily Moyo said it hurt her to see her grandson arriving home in a coffin after spending seven years without communicating with her.
“I raised my grandson single handedly because both his parents died in Harare when he was young. I only managed to send him to Gegeme Primary School but he could not go further with his studies because of financial constraints. That is how he decided to go to South Africa to make a living. Now what pains me is that it’s been seven years since he went to South Africa and he had never set foot home or contacted me in those seven years. I only got to see him as a corpse. We buried him right next to his grandfather because when he was sick he kept telling his in-laws that he wants to lie next to his grandfather.
“At the time of his death he was constantly vomiting blood, it was such a painful death. I wish someone could properly explain to me what was happening in South Africa because I hear he was once dead for three days and was resurrected by a pastor,” said Moyo.

It is reported that all this drama is believed to have started sometime in February when Thabiso fell ill. Even after he was resurrected he did not properly recover. To make things worse soon after the resurrection miracle Thabiso and Pastor AlphLukau had a fraud case CR 506/ 02 /19 opened at Jeppes police station in South Africa. The two were jointly accused of performing a fake miracle.
Thabiso was scared of the police case so whenever his wife Simelweyinkosi Sibanda took him to the hospital he would sneak out.
But his health kept on deteriorating so Simelweyinkosi then decided to bring him back home in Zimbabwe on 8 March.
The couple stayed at Bernard’s homestead in Village 2 Insuza under Chief Mtshane.
As each day passed Thabiso’s health kept on worsening so the family took him to the Mbembesi Clinic in Insuza on 23 March.

On 1 April he was transferred to St Luke’s Hospital in Lupane. Unfortunately he died on 3 April and was buried on 5 April.
When asked about the resurrection miracle Simelweyinkosi vehemently denied being at her husband’s resurrection though she is identical to a woman who is clad in a light pink dress, with short hair and shivering next to Thabiso when he is eating his food soon after the resurrection in one video clip.
“I don’t know anything about the resurrection thing because I was not there so I cannot comment on anything, the best person to talk would be his brother,” said Simelweyinkosi.
However, Stanley Mlanje, Thabiso’s brother who permanently resides in South Africa but has been in Insuza for the past few days following the death of Thabiso did not waste time in confirming his brother was the one who is famously known as “Elliot” when B-Metro showed him a trending picture of Thabiso being resurrected by Pastor Alph Lukau.
“Yes, this is my brother, I am looking at him,” grinned Stanley.
He added: “However, I cannot explain much on details surrounding his resurrection because I was not there. I also saw him trending on social media. About the fraud issue I cannot say much because the fact that he is my brother does not mean I would know everything about his dealings since he was an independent individual. I had so many questions to ask him about that whole resurrection thing but I couldn’t because when I talked to him he was not so well so I thought I would ask him when he gets better. Just like everyone else, I still have questions for him but the most painful thing for me is that I will never get answers since he is dead,” said Stanley.
Stanley added that since there were only two children in his family so he is the one who has to take care Thabiso’s children.
“Thabiso left behind two children who are equally my children so I have to look after them, that is why I am here at my in-laws’ so that we can plan on how best to keep the kids,” said Stanley.
The late Thabiso Proud Mlanje, aka Elliot Moyo’ s grandmother Emily Moyo, says she is devastated by the death of her grandson whom she saw arriving home in a coffin after seven years without a word from him.
“I raised my grandson single-handedly after his parents both died in Harare when he was still young. I only managed to send him to school up to Grade Seven at Gegeme Primary School. He couldn’t go further with his studies because of financial constraints. That is when he decided to go to South Africa to make a living,” said Moyo.
She said what pained her most was that for the past seven years, Thabiso has been in South Africa he never communicated with her.
“What greatly pains me is that it’s been seven years since he went to South Africa and he never returned home or contacted me in those seven years.
“I only got to see him as a corpse. We buried him right next to his grandfather because when he was sick he kept telling his in-laws that he wants to lie next to his grandfather,” she said with tears down her cheeks.
She added: “At the time of his death I was told he was constantly vomiting blood; it was such a painful death. I wish someone could properly explain to me what was happening in South Africa because I heard he was once died and was resurrected by a pastor.”
Villagers in Dandanda also expressed shock on how Thabiso’s dead body arrived in the village.
“We were so shocked to see a speeding car with a coffin in broad daylight when the sun was so hot. In our village it’s not allowed to transport a dead body in the afternoon.
“So we were just perplexed and wondered what could these people be hiding,” said a granny who identified herself as MaNdlovu.
A number of villagers said they were also unaware that Thabiso became an overnight “celebrity” after the “resurrection” stunt.
“It was shocking when we heard during his funeral wake that Thabiso once died and resurrected in South Africa and that the world knew about it except for us. I guess we never heard of the resurrection due to the fact that network is poor this side so we rarely communicate.
“The other thing that also shocked us that the car carrying the coffin had only three people inside and it was speeding as if they didn’t want fellow villagers to find out more about the dead person,” said one villager who spoke on condition of anonymity.

More details concerning the viral s3x video of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Nnamdi Kanu has emerged.
In the sex video which surfaced online yesterday, Nnamdi Kanu said to be his wife, Uchechi were half naked.
Reacting to the video, the Deputy leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Uche Mefor, wondered if it was a crime to have sex with one’s wife, stressing that the footage was an old video.
In a statement, Mefor accused Aso Rock cabals of being behind the circulation of the video.
The statement reads:
“The video making rounds about the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not new, it has been in circulation since 2013/2014 and as such nothing to be surprised about. Be advised accordingly, though, that this is a video of husband and wife (Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and our own Mrs Uchechi Okwu-kanu).

Nigerians on Twitter have been discussing tweets shared by a woman insisting that a man who loves her must spend on her.
It all began with a Twitter user informing men that women are expensive and, rather than call them gold diggers, men should find the woman they can maintain.
Another female Twitter user, with the handle @Yettyclassy, replied saying it is wrong to feel entitled to a man’s money, especially if you didn’t work for it with him.
But another woman stepped in to say a man must spend on the woman he loves. @She LovesArtemis said, “men must provide for women. Once you say you love me, you already owe me money.”
This led to a back and forth between @She LovesArtemis and @Yettyclassy.
But the Twitter outrage began after @She LovesArtemis tweeted that she intends to be a housewife and just enjoy her husband’s money.
