2019 message
It’s that time of the year where we all show off what the lord has done for us in the previous 364 days.

It’s that time of the year where we share our testimonies to inspire the masses and stir up the multitudes.

A new year is upon us so let me get to the point. The reason for this write up is to reach out to a certain group of people. Those who may react in an adverse manner to hearing these yearly testimonies.

Those who may get induced into depression upon hearing these ever powerful testimonies.

Now what most do not understand is that people are good story tellers and screen writers. In telling these testimonies, most people do not include the rigorous ups and downs and losses one experiences before the testimony.

They do not include the vigorous phases they passed in which they themselves nearly gave up for good.

I need you all to know that many live their life for the gram. It may come as a surprise to you but I assure you that you may be better of than most of these people uploading flashy enticing posts on social media. Anyone can take a photo shoot and smile. Anyone can distort an image online.

Pastor Adeboye 2019 Prophecies Revealed!

Pastor Enoch Adejare (EA) Adeboye has released his prophecies for the new year, 2019.

This was made known during the church’s crossover service which took place at the RCCG headquarter located at Kilometre 46 Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Redemption Camp, Ogun state, southwest Nigeria on Monday.

Pastor Adeboye 2019 Prophecies

Unlike before when the highly revered man of God would give tacit one liners, he instead gave biblical references as the prophecies for the Year 2019.

Read the clergyman’s prophecies below…

INTERNATIONAL: Joel 2:28-32

The Bible passage reads; King James Version (KJV)

28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.

32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call

NIGERIA: Lamentations 3:22-23 — King James Version (KJV)

22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

INDIVIDUAL: Isaiah 3:10-11 — King James Version (KJV)

10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

RCCG: Psalm 91 King James Version (KJV)

91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Thank God the Holy spirit and prophesy into your life.

Governor Ambode appoints Adekunle Gold’s father as Permanent Secretary for Education in Lagos

On Monday, Governor Ambode swore in Adekunle Gold’s father, Adeyemi Kosoko as the new Permanent Secretary for Education.

He also swore in Hakeem Muri-Okunola as the new Head of Service in the state and also appointed six new Permanent Secretaries, including Adekunle Gold’s father.

In reaction to the special moment, Adekunle Gold said he cried as he sat in the auditorium while his father achieved his life-long dream.

In his words, ‘growing up, I watched my dad worked so hard for too little. Teachers weren’t big earners. But my dad, with the help of my mum, provided everything all 4 of us needed – maybe not wanted, but definitely needed’.

I remember when my dad went to Uniben for his first degree. My sisters and I were very young, and communication with him was pretty much impossible, because it was before the era of cellphones. We only saw him when he had school breaks.

He finished as the best in his class with a distinction in Fine Arts, Painting & Graphics Major. He was part of the team that co-wrote the module for teachers at one time. Everyday, after his primary assignment as a Fine Arts teacher in Keke High School, he would go to Teachers’ College to teach other teachers.

He was willing to do whatever it would take to make extra money to fend for us and build a house for us to live in. I almost forgot – he is a published writer. Brilliant Man!

My dad didn’t literally sit me down to teach me great values and diligence. Luckily, he didn’t have to, because I saw it in him everyday.

He has given so much of himself, and truly values the opportunity to be serving the government and every school he’s worked at as either teacher, VP or principal. He’s won about 30 awards for his selfless service to the state. My Dad. A Man!

A man that refuses to cut corners, believes in hard work and is known for his integrity. He always said to me; “Your name is precious, you must protect it!

Hard as it might be to believe, I can honestly say I’ve never seen him disobey traffic rules or give bribe. When other principals allowed people use their schools for special centres, my dad said no.

He said – “I have been in service for far too long to let quick money ruin my reputation.” His dream has always been to become a Permanent Secretary of Lagos state. It was his dream, it was also mine for him.

In this moment, this 56 year old brilliant man’s dream is now his reality. Today, I sat in the audience, and I listened as they read out loud, his achievements. I watched as he was sworn in as a Tutor General/Permanent Secretary for Education.

So I cried today, but they were happy tears.

A new video trending on Social Media shows that Kizz Daniel might have given Davido his Full verse in their hit song, “One ticket”.

One ticket, produced by Major Bangz is unarguably the most-played song in Nigeria right now.

The trending video shows Kizz Daniel vibing to the song, which was probably recorded as his single, without a Davido feature.

Perhaps the singer thought it was best to put in Davido’s magic in it.. Thus he called on Davido to take the first verse!

Full text of President Buhari’s New year message to Nigerians

Buhari New year message

President Muhammadu Buhari has welcomed Nigerians into the year 2019. Buhari stated that the year 2019 will be significant for the country.

Buhari New year message

Dear compatriots,

It is my utmost pleasure to rejoice with all Nigerians as we enter the year 2019, which will be a very significant one for our country.

2. At the turn of every year, we often use the opportunity to look back at the past and forward to the future. To review the outgoing year, its high and low points, successes and failures, and be fully thankful to God.

3. We Nigerians are a religious people, and we believe that God reigns and rules in the affairs of men. A time like this offers precious opportunity for thanksgiving, stock taking and reflection on goals and targets set for the receding year, and how much was accomplished. The ones not done can then be rolled over into a new year.

4. The dawn of a New Year is also a time to look forward. To consider new prospects, unfold our plans, and prepare for landmark dates and events.

5. 2019 will be an election year for us. In about two months, the polls are due, and we will elect leaders into various offices, at national and state levels.

6. As I welcome you into 2019, I also reiterate my many promises and declarations that the general elections will be free, fair and credible.

7. Elections need not be do or die affair, and we should not approach that eventuality in a democracy with trepidation and mortal fear. Happily, a large number of presidential candidates have committed to peace, and peace we shall have.

8. Those who continue to trumpet falsehood and negativity are on their own, fighting a losing battle. The greater number of Nigerians are trusting and believing that we shall deliver on our promises for a level playing field at the polls, and that is what we shall do.

9. Nigerians desire peace, security, prosperity, inclusiveness and infrastructural development, a nation they can be proud of, a country that can hold its own among the nations.

10. That is the journey we have embarked on since we came onboard in 2015, and we are not distracted as we move on. We are resolved to build a country in which the resources are utilized for the benefit of the largest number, and not appropriated by a privileged few in their never ending quest to satisfy their greed. We are on this mission together, and I assure you of a firm commitment to the ideals of a safe, secure, fair, just and prosperous country.

11. We have had our challenges: security, economic, political, social. But we are resolved to combat and overcome them all.

12. I appreciate your support and collaboration in previous years, and look forward to same in 2019, and beyond, as I hope you will renew the mandate you overwhelmingly gave us in 2015, for another term.

13. We are motivated by nothing other than service to motherland, and service without selfishness or personal interest.

14. I can assure you all that we are making steady and sustainable progress in all areas of national life. Those who are unbiased can see and appreciate the progress the country has made since 2015.

14. A New Year provides opportunity for renewal of commitment, and I invite you to rededicate yourselves to the vision of a Nigeria that works for all.

15. We are moving from potentials to actualization, and it’s a task to be accomplished by us all; man, woman, young, old, military, civilian, all Nigerians.
Please come along, as we journey to the land of our dreams. Happy 2019.

17. Thank you and God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Toolz recounts her journey to motherhood as she shares photos of her baby bump

Popular Beats FM OAP, Tolu Oniru-Demuren and her husband, Captain Tunde Demuren, welcomed their first child, a boy, few weeks ago.

In a post she shared on her Instagram page yesterday, Toolz recounted how she prayed to God for a child and how he heard her cry and blessed her with a son she is in awe of. She also shared a video of her journey to motherhood.

Read what she wrote and the video she shared below.

“For this child I have prayed and You heard my cry.

For this baby I had faith and You gave new life’… This time last year, I posted my most vulnerable and honest post to date after my miscarriage.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES!! This time last year, I would often cry myself to sleep thinking about the baby we lost, but now I can’t sleep because I can’t stop staring at the most precious gift God has given me this year….MY SON.???

I look at my little prince and I am in complete awe! I still can’t believe I’m a mummy.

I can’t wait to teach him everything I know and learn so much from him too.

I can’t wait to show him how much every inch of me loves him.

I also can’t wait to “Patience Ozokwor” his future girlfriends ?? The biggest lesson I learnt this year is to NEVER…EVER GIVE UP ON GOD.

Since last year, we prayed, fasted and prayed some more for God to bless us with a healthy baby in 2018. Towards the end of the first quarter, I started to think that our prayers wouldn’t be answered in 2018. I stupidly got impatient and frustrated with God.

One day in April, Captain came home and found me in bed crying my eyes out because I thought we wouldn’t have a baby in 2018. Little did I know that as I was crying and getting upset and frustrated with God, I was actually already pregnant.

While I was being weak and doubting Him, He had already answered our prayers!

For our family, friends and every single one of you that remembered us in prayer….Thank you so very much. May God overwhelm you with incredible blessings this coming year.

For women dealing with the loss of a child like I did last year, know that the story doesn’t end there. God has already completed your testimony, and I pray that you (just like me) will be celebrating sooner rather than later.

For anyone waiting on God to answer their prayers, please remember that God’s delay isn’t His denial.

Thank you Heavenly Father for always showing that you’ve got me!

Lots of love and Happy Amazing 2019 from Toolz, Captain and Chairman ?? #GodsGotMe #TreeOfUs #Testimony#We2019Ready”

Former house-help appreciates ex-boss who sponsored his education

A former house-help turned educationist has taken to his facebook page to appreciate his ex-boss who sponsored his education.

The Nigerian man, Zion Oshiobugie, gave thanks to his former boss who took him in as a houseboy 14 years ago and ensured he got the education his biological children got as well.

Zion also revealed that education unlocked his mind and broke the chain of poverty in his life.

His post reads ;

14 years ago, December 2004 to be precise I came to warri, Delta State to be the house boy (Domestic help) of @ndonyeka (Engr Nnamdi Onyeka & Dr Mrs Stephanie Onyeka).

D8 iffie estate, refinery road by Mega Hilton hotel was the house I stayed for 4 years. Engr Nnamdi never saw me as a second class citizen and as such he sent me to school instead of paying my parents for my service. I obtained OND from the petroleum training institute, Effurun while in his house as a domestic help. He payed my way through school. I stayed as his domestic help for 4 years 2004-2008.

Education unlocked my mind and broke the chains of poverty from my life hence my resolve to provide quality education for 20 million underprivileged children and orphans in my life time.

Long story short it’s 14 years down the line and I still remian grateful for all you did for me sir. Help say a word of appreciation to him.

I end with a quote from mother Theresa. ‘ Love is not patronizing and charity isn’t about pity, it is about love. Charity and love are the same — with charity you give love, so don’t just give money but reach out your hand instead’.

We won’t leave Dino Melaye’s home until he surrenders – Nigerian Police

Dino Melaye speaks

The Nigeria Police Force has said that its police operatives at Senator Dino Melaye’s home will not retreat until the Senator surrenders himself for arrest and investigation.

The Police further said that Senator Dino Melaye is wanted by the Police for a case of Criminal Conspiracy and Attempted Culpable Homicide, committed on 19th July, 2018, when Senator Dino Melaye and his armed thugs attacked Police personnel; shot and wounded Sgt. Danjuma Saliu, attached to 37 Police Mobile Force (PMF) on stop and search duty along Aiyetoro Gbede, Mopa Road in Kogi State.

The Police in the statement signed by Ag. DCP Jimoh Moshood, Force Public Relations officer Force Headquarters Abuja said that ‘the operatives with a duly obtained Warrant of Arrest deployed to arrest Senator Dino Melaye in his residence in Abuja will not retreat until Senator Dino Melaye surrenders himself for arrest and investigation.

‘It is on record that the Police investigators submitted a Letter of Invitation dated 23rd July, 2018, signed by the Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command addressed to the Clerk, National Assembly, Abuja, inviting Senator Dino Melaye to report on 26th July, 2018 at 1100Hrs at the Kogi State Police Command, CIID, Lokoja to answer to a case of Criminal Conspiracy and Attempted Culpable Homicide against him under investigation in the Kogi State Police Command.

The claim by the Senate President in the Media that the Police did not submit a letter of invitation to the Clerk of the National Assembly is therefore incorrect as can be seen on attached letter with acknowledgment stamp of the Clerk, National Assembly, Abuja “24 JUL 2018“. Despite this, Senator Dino Melaye bluntly refused to report himself to the Police till date.

For avoidance of doubt, attached to this Press Release are the copies of pictures of the shot Police Officer, Sgt. Danjuma Saliu, the Police Invitation Letter addressed to the Clerk of National Assembly, Abuja and the Medical Report from the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, Kogi State, confirming the admission of Sgt. Danjuma Saliu into the Hospital for treatment of the gunshot injury he sustained from the attack by Senator Dino Melaye and his armed thugs while on Stop and Search duty along Aiyetoro Gbede, Mopa Road in Kogi State on 19th July, 2018.

The Police Officer, Sgt. Danjuma Saliu, is yet to recover from the gunshot injury he sustained during the attack and still under intensive medical care in the hospital.

The Force will ensure a thorough investigation into this matter while making sure that the rule of law prevails and that no suspect no matter how highly placed, involved in any criminal matter escape justice.

Davido mocks boy who called him out for failing to fulfil his 1 Million Naira Promise. (Video)

Davido and his crew took to Instastory to mock the boy he promised N1million but failed to deliver, which prompted the boy to call him out.

If you recall, Davido promised N1million to the boy at his concert for fighting for ladies who were being rough handled, while other men scrambled to take their share of the money he prayed during his performance.

Few days after the event, the boy called out Davido for not making true his promise. He insisted that he called a certain Lati who was supposed to make the money transfer to him, but Lati asked him never to call him.

Davido and his crew could be seen in this video seemingly mocking the poor boy, who reportedly said ” I call Lati” while calling out the pop star.

Man Reveals What A Lady Did To Him For Wearing Bathroom Slippers To Ikeja Mall

Man Reveals

A Nigerian man, Martin Beck Nworah, has taken to social media to narrate his encounter with a lady who slammed him for wearing bathroom slippers to Mall in Lagos.

Read what he shared below on Facebook.

Yesterday evening, I honoured my friend’s request to take me to the cinema. I got to ICM (Ikeja City Mall) before her so I had to wait.

About 20 minutes later, she arrived with a female friend of hers. She tried introducing us to each other. “Errmmm…babe, this is Martin Beck Nworah. Beck…this is…”

Her friend couldn’t wait for her to finish before she cut in; “Which village did you pick this guy from? Babe you’re bigger than this na. How can you be hanging out with a guy who comes to a Mall wearing bathroom slippers.”

I was shocked. My friend was shocked. We never expected that. I tried smiling but my cheeks were shaking. LOL. My friend gave her a sharp look and finished the introduction. I was already thinking about my life sef and the insult.

My friend went into Silverbird and the movie we wanted to see was sold out. The next option required an additional 1k to get 3 tickets. She didn’t have extra cash and her friend didn’t have.

Without asking if I had, she told her friend she had to go back to the house or wait outside. “Babe, you need go back or you can stay outside and wait for us.”

Her friend couldn’t understand why she would stand her down for a guy wearing bathroom slippers. “Babe, I told you to stay in the house but you insisted on coming out.

You will shaa wait outside or you go home.” She grumbled, muttered incoherent stuff and told my friend to see her off. I smiled ehhh.

When my friend returned, she snapped this picture. “But Beck, why would you wear a bathroom slippers and come out to ICM of all places? Son of Nebu, what is your wahala?” I laughed real hard. “I’m not regular…”She held my lips. “Nonsense boy.”

Her friend later called me in the night with my friend’s phone to apologise. She said my friend later explained to her who I was and everything. She was sorry for reacting the way she did.

I told her it wasn’t her fault, I was even surprised at myself. This Lagos life sef! Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.

He said youths who cling to the illusion that they could become wealthy by killing people or stealing female underwear for ritual purposes would no doubt face the consequence. He added that the behaviour was abominable and alien to Benin customs and tradition.

The monarch interceded for Nigeria and her leaders and urged politicians and youths to shun acts that could undermine free, fair and credible elections in 2019 and also warned politicians to desist from violence and other acts inimical to the electoral process. He cautioned youths not to allow themselves to be used as political thugs to cause mayhem during elections.

Native doctor claims to help women restore their virginity

A huge number of women have flocked to a native doctor who claims he can restore women’s virginity. Ever since the native doctor’s abilities became public knowledge, many women have approached him to seek his services.

The native doctor identified as Erdington Virimayi from Kwekwe, Zimbabwe, claims to be both a prophet and a traditional doctor. He also specializes in locking couples, giving enriching charms as well as enlarging men’s manhood.

According to Erdington Virimayi, restoring virginity was a very easy task for him.

He said: “I restore virginity to girls as long as they follow what I tell them to do. It’s just most men know me for enlarging manhood to the sizes of their choices but I also have a service for women.”

He also claims a soldier became the tall of the town after he enlarged his manhood.

He boasted: “He came back to me and thanked me for the service saying girls were falling over him after the service. That is how we do it.”

The native doctor who is also a member of the Mugodhi Apostolic Church said there was nothing wrong with mixing traditional practices and Christianity. He even reads a Bible for his clients because he’s also a prophet.

He said: “I started healing in 1989 when I was in Grade 7 when I was receiving prophetic visions. I was then taken by a mermaid and I was initiated into traditional healing. So I was a prophet until 2000 and now I am both a prophet and a traditional healer.”

Virimayi gets clients from different countries, with some of his clients coming from as far as South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.

Former house help appreciates

The Nigerian man, Zion Oshiobugie, took to his Facebook page to thank his former boss who took him in as a houseboy 14 years ago and ensured he got the education his biological children got as well.

Zion also revealed that education unlocked his mind and broke the chain of poverty in his life. Read what he wrote on Facebook below;

While parading the suspects before newsmen and also handing one of the recovered babies to the parents, the state Commissioner of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi, said Precious stole the siblings, two-year-old Chiemerem and seven-year-old Mmesoma Nwoke, in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State after following the advise of her parents who refused to give her money for money to register for the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination WASSCE, when she asked.

Her parents had told her they had no money for her exam registration and advised her to do what her ‘mates are doing’, steal children, sell them and make money.

“On November 13 at around 9am, one Precious Ehiedo, 15, daughter of Mr and Mrs Romeo and Uchechi Ehiedo, resident at Ogbuaku in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State but natives of Abraka in Delta State, requested from her parents money for the SSCE registration. Her parents told her to go and steal children for them to sell in order to raise money for her examination. Being familiar with the two children at her maternal home, Umuezeala Ama, in Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo State, she stole the children.

“The girl and her father left for Mbano, but the father stopped at the Amaraku Market square, waiting for his daughter to hand over the children, who he had instructed her to steal. The 15-year-old met the children playing, stole them and joined her father at the Amaraku Market and both left with the children to Ogbaku. The children were sold to one Mama Joy at the rate of N800,000. Mama Joy, with one Favour Okoh, resold one of the children to one Juliet Ogbor for N750,000.”

Galadanchi said the police immediately commenced investigation and was able to recover one of the children, Chiemerem, on December 15th at Agbor in Delta State.

Photos: Woman hacks husband to death with an axe over Christmas gift

A woman is currently at large after hacking her husband to death with an axe during dispute over Christmas gift.

Homicide detectives in Mutare are looking for the woman from Chikanga in Mutare, Zimbabwe, who disappeared soon after axing her husband to death following a domestic dispute on December 24.

Anesu Mafokosho is alleged to have axed Vitalis Mudhumo, 26, at around 3pm soon after the couple returned home from the city centre where they had gone shopping. The dispute which ended in the death of the husband was sparked by gifts which the couple had bought for their child for Christmas.

According to local reports, the couple’s union was experiencing some problems and the unresolved marital dispute was threatening their marriage.

On December 24 the Vitalis met his wife Anesu at the Stop Sign in Chikanga 2. The two drove to Edgars Mutare where they bought their three-year-old daughter’s clothes. After shopping, the deceased and his wife went back home. On getting home, Anesu’s younger sister, who was in the dinning room, heard the couple arguing outside the yard for about 45 minutes.

Moments later they got into the house and entered into their bedroom. In the bedroom, Vitalis started packing his clothes saying he was moving out. His wife begged him to change his mind to no avail.

The situation degenerated into chaos resulting in the wife axing the deceased three time on the neck.

Soon after committing the offence, Mafokosho fled home and sent a text message to her sister telling her to go see what she had done in the bedroom.

On getting into the room, the younger sister found Vitalis bleeding and convulsing on the bed.

Manicaland police spokesman Inspector Tavhiringwa Kakohwa said Mudhumo’s body was taken to Mutare Provincial Hospital for post mortem.

The accused is still at large and investigations are in progress.

There’s curse on the Adeleke family – Kemi Olunloyo delivers more prophecies

Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo has mentioned that there is curse on the Adeleke family and Davido has the responsibility to break that in 21 days.

Olunloyo also wrote on her Instagram that Davido’s DMW, HKN and OBO acronyms are going to associated with the Illuminati in 2019 and so they should be avoided by anyone who cares about their lives.

Her post reads ;

#ProphetKOO If u are a Davido fan, It’s time for you to DETACH now. OBO, DMW, HKN is the leader of the Illuminati for 2019. Anyone that mentions these acronyms are doomed in the 666 realm. Nothing can go well, businesses failed, jobs lost, standstill bank accounts, failure. My prophecy will come to pass. Women that attend his concerts will get sexually harassed or assaulted. There is an Adeleke curse which had to be broken.

Davido has 48 hrs to fulfill his late mother’s wish to cleanse the evil trailing him & his fans. She told me to tell him to read King David’s Psalm 21 twenty one times before January 1st. Pay attention to verse 12 she said. She said she gave birth to him the 21st day

Davido has exactly 30 hours left to apologize properly to 8 people or the Adeleke curse will never be broken in 2019. His mother told me to tell him to focus on Psalm 21 verse 11-12. The psalm must be read 21 times before midnight Dec 31st 2018. The 666 realm will be unleashed mercilessly in 2019.
