A Nigerian entertainer who is based in America, Chinomso Prince Egbuchere and his family were left with a total surprise after they discovered a huge sum of Biafran pounds their grandfather hid in the ceiling during the Biafran war many years ago (from 1967 to 1970).

The grandfather died three decades ago and reportedly hid the money along with other items in the ceiling.

According to Prince Egbuchere, the money fell from the ceiling and everyone thought it was a charm ‘Juju‘ as they took to their heels, only for one of the family members to open it to see the wads of Biafran cash.

The stunned entertainer then began making a video which he later shared on his Facebook page. Watch below,

A man just took marriage proposal to a creative new level, as he popped the question to his girlfriend with the help of 16 dogs in attendance.

Maurice Goldstein asked Laura Stampler to marry him, with the help of 16 very special, albeit slightly furry, dogs.

According to the bride, Maurice asked Laura to take a quick impromptu hike with him up Runyon Canyon but when they reached the top, the couple were met with a trail of rose petals. She said;

“It wasn’t until I saw the rose petals that I knew it was more. Like, a lot more.”

As soon as Laura said yes, 16 dogs suddenly appeared around them both.

The actor popped the question to his ex-wife, Mira Pak, more than three years after the duo secretly divorced in July 2015.

Hit-and-run driver kills OOU final year student, Boluwatife Oyeleye in Ajah (Photo)

A final year Urban and Regional planning student of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, was, on Christmas Day, killed by a hit-and-run driver in Lagos state.

According to reports, the student identified as, Boluwatife Oyeleye had gone out for a Christmas outing and was returning home around 6:30pm, when she was hit by a vehicle, while trying to cross the Lekki-Epe expressway at the Ajah-Ilaje axis.

The driver, however, fled immediately he hit her.

A bike rider later assisted Boluwatife to the roadside and called on passersby to help rush her to the hospital, but no help came until she gave up the ghost.

More than 500 Muslims celebrate Christmas with Pastor Yohanna Buru at his residence in Kaduna State.

The Muslim faithful, including youths, Imams, women, NGOs and traditional title holders, were drawn from various states in the North and neighbouring countries, News Agency of Nigeria reports.

The visit was aimed at strengthening peace, unity and religious tolerance in Kaduna state and the country at large.

Buru, the General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry, led the prayers at the occasion.

He offered special prayers for promotion of the peaceful co-existence among different faith organisations.

“It is also aimed at shunning ethno-religious and political differences affecting the state for decades,’’ the cleric said of the visit.

In his sermon, he stressed the importance of promoting peaceful coexistence amongst different faithful in Africa so as to strengthen better understanding in order to live in peace and harmony.

“We are using the Christmas season to unite Muslims and Christians and to promote better understanding.

“My house has been filled with Muslims and Christians alike, today, I am the happiest person on earth.

“I’m pleading with Muslims and Christians across the globe to use the season in promoting peace and unity.

“We have counted over 500 Muslims that joined us in the Christmas service at my home today,” he said.

A pair of six-year-old twins have been married in a lavish ceremony because their parents believe they were lovers in a past life.

The young boy, nicknamed Guitar, and his sister, Kiwi, were born in September 2012 and their parents immediately knew they would have to get married.

Buddhists believe that male and female twins have ‘karma’ from relationships in a previous life and have been re-born together, because the debt has not been settled. They say that unless they’re married as quickly as possible once they’re old enough, they will experience bad luck in the future.

The twin’s father Amornsan Sunthorn Malirat, 31, and mother, Phacharaporn, 30, arranged a lavish ceremony for their children in Samut Prakan on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand.

Amornsan said:

‘the reason for the marriage ceremony is because we believe that both the children used to be a partners in the past life. This is a belief we have inherited from ancient people. We must arrange a wedding for the two twins as a solution to the issues they had before they were re-born. If they are married, they will live healthy and successful lives and not be sick.’

A traditional ceremony featured a street procession followed by a game where the groom had to pass through nine ‘gates’ before he could meet the bride. The young boy then had to pay a dowry of 200,000 baht in cash and gold worth the equivalent of £1,000 before marrying her.

The ‘young couple’ then posed together with their arms around each other for wedding pictures. Despite them being ‘married’ according to local customs, the ceremony is not legally binding and each of them will still be able to seek out their own partners when they are older.

The children’s mother, Phacharaporn, said:

‘they were both so sweet during their wedding. They will be the best of friends for the rest of their lives. They’ll be able to find their own husband or wife when they are older. But this ceremony will always be important for them.’

President Buhari has finally reacted to claims of cabal in his government which was made by his wife, Aisha Buhari.

You would recall few months ago when Aisha Buhari, who sat for an interview with BBC Hausa, claimed that Buhari’s government had been hijacked by only a “few people”, who were behind presidential appointments.

“The president does not know 45 out of 50 of the people he appointed and I don’t know them either, despite being his wife of 27 years. Some people are sitting down in their homes folding their arms only for them to be called to come and head an agency or a ministerial position,” she said.

Aisha Buhari made the claims again while speaking at a National Women Leadership Summit organised by a political group, Project 4+4 for Buhari & Osinbajo 2019, in Abuja. According to her, some politicians have formed the habit of going to these two powerful men in the night to beg for favours. A situation she described as disappointing.

However Buhari who reacted to claims of a cabal in his government in an with VOA Hausa, said;

That’s her business & it shows I am a true democrat by allowing everybody to have an opinion. I challenge those alleging to show a single evidence.

In his post, he alleged that the staff at Abuja Airport claimed they had closed by 2a.m and no passenger will be allowed to sleep within the premises.

He wrote:

I thank God for hustle mentality, I have learned to make the most out of every situation. One thing is clear, Nigeria is an Under Developed Country, how do you have an international airport (Abuja) that closes and pushes people out at 2.20am in the morning (Christmas Morning).

People sleep outside on the floor, images most Nigerians will never see, but I thank God for this experience. We have a lot of work to do. #Nigeria

CDQ Celebrates Christmas With A Naked Santa (Photos)

In the spirit of Christmas, CDQ has shared a photo of himself with a nearly naked woman to wish his followers a merry Christmas.

The rapper sat on a chair in the photo while the woman, who had on only G-string panties leaned against him. Her side boobs were visible in the photo and so was her naked butt which the rapper grabbed as he looked straight into the camera.

Sharing the photo, he wrote, “Merry Xmas guys ? Woss Wobi mami Santa is here ?”
