Nollywood actress and mother of one, Tonto Dikeh has seeked for public advice on what to do to stop the cracked heels she has suffered since the beginning of harmattan season.

There was mild pandemonium today in Ikeja, Lagos, as traffic was brought to a standstill and mourners were filmed swinging a casket while noisily attracting attention to themselves.
In the video shared online by Tony Krooz, the mourners can be seen carrying the casket while running and dancing with it as some others played different instruments, like the drum, and sang.
People walking on the street had to run as the mourners approached with the casket.

A 27-year old graduate named Abubakar Abdul Mumin, a student of the Tamale Technical University has made news headlines due to his sheer will and desire to survive.
According to reports, the young man’s story inspires the majority of the youth today as he does several menial jobs as well as sell coconuts to make money.
Narrating his story, he said he started the coconut business at the age of 19.
“My name is Abubakar Abdul Mumin, from Yepeli in the Northern Region of Ghana. I am 27 years and a final year student of Tamale Technical University. I am studying Statistics. I am also the Organiser of the Statistics Department. I won the position in a very hot election.
I didn’t know I could win because I didn’t put any money in that but those who voted for me explained that they like my diligence and ability to unite people. I appreciate. Statistics is a very a very difficult course so I have little time to spare. A lot of my friends think I have left them but my education takes a lot of my time now.
I am always indoors reading and learning new things to master the course. During my long vacations, I take time to teach Mathematics at the Yepeligu Junior High School. I have done that for three years and I do it for free. The School is not far from my place so I can manage. I had a very difficult time in the JHS because even though I like mathematics, we never had a Mathematics teacher throughout my stay. It was hard but I passed. I go to teach because I don’t want them to experience the same difficulties. The children like me and I feel proud.
When I have other opportunities on short vacations, I sell coconut and support my education. I started selling when I was 19. I never get embarrassed when people look down on me because of what I do. I am strong. Peoples opinions do not put me down because I know who I am.
I want to learn to the highest level and achieve my goals. My goal is to make a very good impact on my people in the North and in Ghana. I want to teach. I also want to help my district with my statistics education and compile data that has been overlooked about my people. My brother is the administrator at Karaga District Assembly.
He helps me a lot and I also want to help my parents and siblings wholeheartedly. I have supported myself and paid all my school fees for three years through selling. I move out of Tamale to other regions to sell. Sometimes for two months, I stay with my friends in those areas and then when I have enough, I move back to school. Now it has been revealed that the couple who have four children together don’t have a prenuptial agreement.
According to TMZ, the couple will file divorce docs in Washington, where community property rules that all earnings and income during the marriage are split 50/50, meaning over $137b is at stake.

Nollywood actor, Gbenga Akintunde aka Burger to be buried on the 15th of January, 2019. He died on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019.
Gbenga Akintunde died after he went to the hospital to seek treatment for malaria. He was only 46.

Unless you live in a cave, you have probably heard a lot about GEEP TraderMoni, the intervention prorgramme of the Federal Government giving loans to millions of petty traders, starting at N10,000. But what surprised us is that it is apparently run by a young guy known as “Oga Uzo” within the GEEP circle.
The Chief Operating Officer of TraderMoni is one Mr. Uzoma Nwagba from Abia State, and he is 31 years old! Sources say he is a prodigy of the current Minister of Industry, Trader and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah. Speaking to our sources at the Bank of Industry, we learn he has in fact been a driving force behind the entire Federal Government GEEP project, since 2016 (so he started at 28?).

Our sources reveal that a typical work day for the ex-Goldman Sachs Analyst is full of high-pressure meetings with field operators, technology providers, agent networks and payment partners, laced with long sessions with “the ED” (referring to Mrs. Adeniji, the Executive Director at BOI), and frequent visits to the “villa” (presumably referring to the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo). “He comes in and is usually on the phone, giving instructions to the teams. He checks in on everyone, goes to see the ED. Next thing he is off to the airport. He is hardly ever in the office but always in touch,” a source said. “Uzo is young but very smart and very confident; almost intimidating. You can’t bullshit him. He works even harder than us, and asks a lot of questions” a source said.
Having a young person drive such a massive national project with over 4,000 employees is quite commendable, so we looked him up. It is curious how the Harvard grad has made the leap from Engineering or Investment Banking in New York, to taking interest-free loans to millions of traders across the country.
Online sources reveal that Uzoma Nwagba attended Kings College, Lagos where he was head boy of the main campus and consistently top of his class. (KC boys, can you confirm this?). He then proceeded to Howard University, Washington DC where he graduated with a First Class in Electrical Engineering. Whilst at Howard, Mr. Nwagba was a Student Government President, and Student of the Year 2008. After Howard, he worked as an Analyst in Goldman Sachs, New York. He subsequently moved on to Microsoft in Redmond to work as a Project Manager, one of the youngest in the history of the company to hold that role, at age 21.
We are told Nwagba left the dream job at Microsoft and returned to Nigeria for a year to complete his NYSC, after which he proceeded to Harvard University for his MBA. Online sources also show he served as a member and leader of various clubs: African Business Club, Management Consulting Club, Public Speaking and Negotiation Club, Business in Government Club, and the Harvard Christian Fellowship. Uzoma’s LinkedIn profile seems not to have been updated in years.
In a country where 70-year-olds run everything in government, this is strange, but very commendable. We tried to get Mr. Nwagba to talk but our correspondents could not reach him.

Arsenal forward, Aaron Ramsey has agreed a five-year deal with Juventus worth £36m and will join the Italian champions on a free transfer at the end of the season.

ice President Yemi Osinbajo, has narrated how a fake report about him frolicking with strippers nearly caused a rift between him and his wife, Dolapo.
Osinabjo disclosed this while speaking at a BBC symposium on fake news tagged, ‘Nigeria 2019: Countering Fake News’, in Abuja yesterday Wednesday January 9th.
Lending credence to the fact that fake news can cause a lot of problems, Osinbajo said a blogger had published a photo of him with two women and claimed he was hanging out with strippers. However, a check on the photo after his wife had called him to talk about the photo, showed it had been edited.

The Kaduna residents who washed their streets with soap and water shortly after Governor El-Rufai’s visit, had previously been promised a faculty of Kaduna State University and the Governor had also allegedly promised them that he will relocate his office to the area pending when bandits ravaging the area are flushed out. However it was gathered that none of these alleged promises was fulfilled.
