On Friday, 21st of December, 2018, female rapper, Cardi B released the visuals for her latest single, “Money” which has been on the charts for weeks.
In the video, the rapper is seen breastfeeding her daughter, Kulture who was hidden from the world for a long time, but is now getting tons of attention.
The rapper had been hoarding the facial appearance of her toddler as she desist from sharing photos let alone videos of her daughter, but made a big reveal not long after announcing her split with Offset.
Offset had announced on his birthday he wanted his wife back, and to spend Christmas together as a family – this was after he crashed her stage at Rolling Loud last weekend with $15,000 in roses … only to be turned down in front of a massive crowd.
Back to the newly released music video, which is really, really explicit, Rolling Stone reports that the gilded visual directed by Jora Frantzis is a monument to celebration and opulent overload.
At various points, the Bronx rapper is a priceless statue gawked at by the wealthy masses, a nude piano playing goddess and a breastfeeding mother. The metaphors aren’t subtle.
In short, “Money” showcases all of the personalities, characters and storylines that made Belcalis so compelling all 2018.

When you set out for your dreams in life in our country today, whether study , good job or greener pastures , the fact u failed in your first attempt should not discourage you. I know many Nigerians can excel if given opportunity which some of us grabbed, my Prayer is that opportunities shall abound this 2019…✈️In Life, giving up is not an Option
A subtle war of tweets is brewing between two of Nigeria’s biggest singers – Yemi Alade & Tiwa Savage.
It is no longer news that both artistes are not really best of friends as there have been yet subtle confrontations in the past and today’s conversation looked like one of those ‘sneak disses’.
It all began when Yemi Alade took to twitter to call out a ‘certain female singer’ who was deceiving her fans with fake butt pictures.
Yemi Alade’s tweet reads ;
Stop increasing your ynash in your pictures! you know you are straight like “I” embrace your real self! Ahh ahh.
Deceiving fans up and down
That tweet caused the investigative arm of Nigerian twitter users come up with a theory that Yemi was indeed shading her industry colleague ‘Tiwa Savage’.
Hours Later, Tiwa Savage had a reply of her own, it reads ;
Going into 2019 although u’m quiet, i’m going to try and speak my mind a little more. Let me clarify first of all that this is not a yansh war, I kuku no get big yansh in the first place. It’s about minding your business
Bankole Wellington, Nigerian entertainer popularly known as Banky W, says Nigerians who collect money from politicians during elections should not complain about the economy.
In an interview with Sahara TV, Banky said his party is hoping that the frustration in the country has made people wiser about voting.
“We are counting on the fact that Nigerians know what is going on, they are not fooled easily anymore,” he said.
“Even the poorest among us understand this game, they understand that every four years, politicians come along and give them money to cast their vote and that is the last time they will see them till four years later.
“We are trying to educate people and say that we can’t do the same thing and expect different results. If they are going to vote for a politician because he gave 20k, then don’t complain that things are hard because you mortgaged your piece of the country by going that route.”
Speaking on voter apathy, he said people who do not show up at the polling booth on election day are the ones that make it easy to rig.
“By not voting, you are voting for things to remain the same. By not voting, you are giving you voice and your vote to the same people you are complaining about.
“People complain about rigging, what they don’t understand that when they stay home, that’s the perfect scenario for rigging to occur.
“When you make an allotment in this room for 10 people to vote and one person shows up, you have just created the perfect scenario for anybody to come along and play with the numbers.”

A Kano Court has remanded Deji Adeyanju in prison until February 2019, after the Nigerian Police reopened a murder case which he was discharged and acquitted for by the Kano State High Court following a lengthy trial that lasted between 2005 and 2009.
Hassan Fagge, who presided over the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Kano today, stated that his court lacked jurisdiction to hear the murder charges against Adeyanju, and further ordered that Adeyanju should be remanded in prison custody till February 6th when a higher court could be available to hear the matter.
Adeyanju’s lawyer, Yusuf Suleiman, who spoke to PREMIUM TIMES after the court judgement, stated that the decision by the court shows that the Federal government was out to deal with anyone that criticizes their government. He further disclosed that they will be appealing the magistrate court’s decision.
“This is clearly an attempt to keep him unlawfully in detention. After detaining him in Abuja for several days without arraignment, in violation of the Constitution that gives a maximum 48 years for such detention, they now charged him for attempted murder which the magistrate said he has no power to hear. Now a lower court is hearing a matter that the Kano State High Court had decided long ago” Suleiman said.
While other Christians in the country and the rest of the world are celebrating Christmas, Daddy Freeze has stepped in to opine about the festive season.
According to Freeze, Christmas is a pagan festival and has nothing to do with Christ.
The OAP said this while reacting to a celebratory post shared by AY. In AY’s photo, he and his brothers had on matching outfits and AY shared it with a caption that spoke about Christmas and the coming of Christ.
Freeze replied telling him that ‘Nimrod’, and not Christ, is the real owner of Christmas.
He wrote:
Nimrod, Odin, Saturnalia, Horus, Tammuz, Sol Invictus, the winter solstice and paganism are the real reasons for the season.
–
Christmas has nothing to do with either God or Christ.?
–
“Nimrod started the great organized worldly apostasy
from God that has dominated this world until now.
Nimrod married his own mother, whose name was Semiramis.
After Nimrod’s death, his so-called mother-wife,
Semiramis, propagated the evil doctrine of the survival
of Nimrod as a spirit being. She claimed a full-grown
evergreen tree sprang overnight from a dead tree stump,
which symbolized the springing forth unto new life
of the dead Nimrod. On each anniversary of his birth,
she claimed, Nimrod would visit the evergreen tree
and leave gifts upon it. December 25th, was the birthday
of Nimrod. This is the real origin of the Christmas tree.”

“Neighbours tried in vain to gain entry into the locked house after they spotted smoke coming out of the house and women took turns to put out the fire. We are still to get to the bottom of the story.”

According to what can be deduced from the video, after ending the trip, the lady asked the driver to go – after waiting for minutes – as the person who was supposed to send her money to pay him was still pending. The driver felt he was about to be conned and so he chose rather to wait and be paid than leave and be played, this was when things began to get messy.
According to the driver, he was rough handled by the lady who tore his shirt after she felt she was being disgraced by him – this prompted the driver to begin recording where he can be seen making a complaint to Uber and threatening to ‘naked’ her.
He and the lady are eventually appealed to by passersby with one of them said to be a police officer before the atmosphere became calm again.

A peace ambassador and interfaith professional mediator in Kaduna state, Ramatu Tijjani has decorated the residence of Pastor Yohanna Buru, the general overseer of Christ Evangelical Church Sabon Tasha, with Christmas trees.
Speaking with newsmen on Wednesday in Kaduna, Mrs Tijjani said the gesture was to boost better understanding among different faiths in the country.
Mrs Tijjani, who is a specialist in conflict resolution in Africa, said the decoration of the pastor’s house with light, wreaths, stockings and ornaments is to strengthen peaceful co-existence and a better understanding of different faiths among citizens of Nigeria.
“I observed that the Christmas tree is very vital to the life of every Christian all over the world, and that is why I bought it to decorate the pastor’s house, as a sign of promoting unity, togetherness and to wish all Christians worldwide the best of the season and happy new year in advance, Mrs Tijjani said.
According to her, both the Muslims and Christians are children of Adam and Eve who believe in One God and have holy books they believe in.
While urging people to support each other and live in peace and harmony, Mrs Tijjani said: “Both of them believe in life after death, and both believe in paradise and hell and that makes us all brothers and sisters.”
While commending the philanthropist for the gesture, the Man of God said: “Ramatu is the first woman who used her money to donate many things to churches, widows and orphans.”
Mr Buru prayed that God Almighty would bless her for donating the Christmas trees, new wrappers and food to the Christian needy.
