A banker and Account Officer with Access Bank, Ojo Adefemi Adedoyin, who allegedly connived with one Favour Oriafoh, 30, to defraud a Hong Kong national, Xu Yue of £79,000 (Seventy Nine Thousand Pounds) has been arrested by EFCC.
They were arrested by operatives of the Uyo Zonal Office of the Commission, following investigation into a petition received from the Hong Kong Police Force, that the young lady was a victim of romance scam traced to Nigeria.
Admitting to the crime, Oriafoh who goes by the con name, Terry Mac, confessed that he opened a FaceBook account in the name, just to defraud whoever falls prey to his baits.
“She had fallen in love with me as Terry Mac, a football agent,” he said.
He thereafter took advantage of her love and defrauded her of the said amount, using the domiciliary account of one Adeyemi Hassan Adedeji. During interrogation, he confessed that the Banker, Adedoyin, provided him with the domiciliary account information to which the money was transferred to.
“The agreement was that whatever funds were received through the account, the account officer and the owner of the account will be entitled to 15 per cent of the funds,” he confessed. The Banker has made useful information to the Commission and they will soon be charged to court.

So it was an enthralling event as several Vice presidential candidates, including Yemi Osinbajo of the All Progressives Congress and Peter Obi of the Peoples Democratic Party debated today at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel.
Present for the debate were Khadija Abdullahi-Iya, the vice presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria, Ganiyu Galadima of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria and Umma Getso of the Young Progressives Congress.
The debate was anchored by Imoni Amarere
On unemployment
Obi said “On the issue of unemployment, which is worsening, we can see that millions of our children are out of school. You can see from a study that there is a straight link between SMEs and growing your economy, and we’re not supporting our own SMEs very well.
“If you look at what China has been able to do with SMEs, SMEs in China is contributing to 60 per cent of their GDP. And 60 per cent of China’s GDP is 7.2tn (dollars), which is 18 per cent of Nigeria’s GDP.
“China today, using the same SMEs, is guaranteeing 10 million jobs annually. Half of this year alone, China has produced 7.2 million jobs, which is over 40 per cent of their target. Within the same period, Nigeria lost four million jobs.”
On jobs
Obi said, “That is why we have issues of insecurity, instability and all sorts of things we are witnessing today. We now live in a country where we have the highest number of poor people in any nation — 87 million and growing six per cent every minute.
“Our country today has the highest number of school children in the world. Our HDI (human development index) has dropped from 152 to 157. Our global competitive index has dropped from 124 to 127.
“In terrorism, we have moved from seven to number three just behind Iran and Afghanistan. Our inequality has worsened. Our misery index has worsened. Stress index now places us at 148 of 149. These are hinged on two things from studies and that is on education and unemployment.”
On corruption
Obi said, “It is not that you cannot fight corruption but you can fight it more aggressively while addressing economic issues. For example, in 2015, unemployment was 24 percent. Today, it is 40 per cent. In 2015, we attracted $21bn in Foreign Direct Investment but we attracted only $12bn last year. Our GDP was $500bn in 2015 while per capita was $2, 500 today it is under $1, 900.
On fuel subsidy
Obi said, “If you look at our stock market, we have lost over N2tn in one year. So, that is not a policy. You’re just fighting corruption, you are not creating jobs. You cannot shut down your shop and be chasing criminals.”
“What we are subsiding today is inefficiency. If you get it right, the prices still come down. There is no way a country can have a budget of N340bn for health, which translates to N5 a day for (each of) its citizens, and then pay a trillion for subsidy.
“There is no way you can have an education budget, which is the most critical component of the development at over N400bn and you’re paying subsidy of a trillion. It is a waste. You need to reverse it because you’re not dealing with the engine that will drive your economy tomorrow.”
On corruption
Osinbajo said ‘If you allow criminals to steal all the inventory in the shop, there will be no shop. That’s the problem. And what has happened in Nigeria in the past 16 years is what the World Bank told us; that the major cause of our poverty is corruption.
“That is what we’ve been told. So, let me say there is no way we can minimise. You can’t minimise corruption; if you minimise it, we run the risk of completely — in fact, the argument is lost.
“We cannot do what we want to do unless we are able to minimise corruption or eradicate it completely, which is what we’re trying to do.”
On fuel subsidy;
Osinbajo said, “the NNPC is the sole importer of petroleum. So, it is from the balance sheet of the NNPC that the subsidy is being taken. Now, let me say that if today, you are to remove subsidy, petrol price could go as high as N220 per litre or higher. There is no country in the world, not even the wealthiest ones that don’t run some type of subsidy or the other.”
On the economy
Osinbajo said, “I think the common denominator between the two countries you mentioned is the strong infrastructure. Our nation in the past 16 years has suffered a major infrastructure deficit. So, we don’t have rails, roads. When we came into power in 2015, power was 4,000MW in 16 years.
“So, you need strong infrastructure. No one can argue about it. The second thing is you cannot have a strong economy if you allow the type of grand corruption that has taken place in Nigeria in the last 16 years.”
On social investment programme
Osinbajo said “Under the N-Power scheme, we are employing 500,000 graduates, who are in every single local government of the country.
“At the same time, we have the homegrown school feeding programme under which 9.2 million children are fed every single day in 26 states of Nigeria,’’ he said.
A member of a five-man kidnap gang, Sani Mohammed, who was arrested by operatives of the IGP’s Intelligence Response Team, has disclosed that they would have made a profit of N500 million from kidnapping wealthy victims in Abuja, and Kaduna.
He was arrested alongside three others from their base in Enugu State. Their arrest is sequel to the purported plan for the gang to kidnap one an Abuja-based businessman, Alhaji Ulere.
Those arrested along with Sani are: Babangida Garba, Dogo Ibrahim, and Ibrahim Haruna. Sani told the police interrogators that their plans were to make at least N500 million from ransom, from those they had intended to abduct in December.
Sani, who the police described as one of the dangerous armed robbery suspects and kidnappers, admitted abducting a lot of affluent people in the past.
He narrated:
“I’m from Zamfara State, and I was formerly into cattle-rearing. I had no formal education and I started off as a herder, which was the business my father was into. I came to Abuja in 2007 in search for greener pastures. While in Abuja, I started working for one Alhaji Ulere. I left him and went to join a friend in Enugu State after my boss refused to pay me my money. While I was in Enugu I discovered that my friend already had an armed robbery gang and they were into kidnapping. I joined them.”
“Normally we block the expressway with heavy logs in the dead of the night, forcing vehicles to stop. We would rob all the occupants of their cash and valuables. We take the rich ones among them hostage in a forest in Enugu. They will be released only when their relatives pay ransom. I can’t count the numbers of robberies I have taken part in, but the one that got me into trouble was the kidnapping of my former boss, who sells cows in Abuja. I told my friend Babangida about my boss and I told him that my boss usually sees me as a thief and that he thought I stole one of his cows. Babaginda accepted, and he went to Abuja to kidnap Alhaji. We kept him in a bush in Abuja before we demanded a ransom of N10 million from his family. We didn’t know that they will go to the police, but while we were waiting for Dogo to bring the money, we got information that police were coming after us. We then abandoned my boss in the bush and fled.”
Force Public Relations Officer, Moshood Jimoh, who confirmed the arrest, said that the suspects are members of an armed gang which specializes in robbing and kidnapping motorists on the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway. He said that the gang was arrested by IRT operatives led by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, was pictured lifting up one of his twin daughters in this adorable photo he shared.
See photo below ;
Recently, Olga Diyachenko, the Russian partner of Nigerian footballer, made news headlines after she penned down her thoughts about Nigerian women.
Olga was in Nigeria on a visit to the country with Mikel and their daughters.
She wrote:
“Nigeria, what a surprise you’ve turned out be. But, if I’m to say what impressed me most, it’s The Women. So much; grace, charisma and not a shred of insecurity. Nigerian women walk swaying their beautiful hips with their backs impeccably straight, heads held high, knowing their worth.
“Their attitude is strong, yet very sensual, regardless whether it’s a wealthy woman walking through a 5 star hotel or a young girl crossing the road at 7 AM rushing to work. Although may I say, Nigerian women do not rush, nor do they fidget, they simply glide.
“The way Nigerian women preserve their culture and traditions is admirable. They don’t chase international designers or dress according to Vogue, they wear beautiful traditional dresses, dance the traditional dances and do it all with pride!
“I hope Ava and Mia will inherit the calmness, sense of pride, posture and self worth that I’ve witnessed Nigerian women posses with such ease. Nigerian Women hat off to you #Nigeria #Pride #Women”

An internet fraudster aka Yahoo-boy got the shock of his life after a white woman he duped came all the way from her country to have him arrested.
A white lady has done the unthinkable by causing the arrest of a male internet fraudster known locally as a ‘sakawa’ boy in Ghana, AdomNews has reported.
The white lady had been defrauded for so many years by the Ghanaian whose name has been identified as Solomon Attah.
According to a video report the ‘sakawa’ boy (internet fraudster/Yahoo-boys) reportedly extorted over 20,000 euros (GHC 113,000) from the white lady in question years back.
After extorting so much from the lady he cut ties with her. So the lady with another white guy who appeared to be her new boyfriend/husband did all they could to track Solomon and his boys down.
From the video, one can see that they contacted the Criminal Investigations Department down here in Ghana.
So after getting to know where Solomon and his crew lived to carry-out their dubious scams, they paid them a surprise visit at home.
Solomon and his crew attempted to bolt after realising that their cup was full but the police personnel were quick enough to capture them. They were handcuffed and paraded to the police station.
The white guy demanded that Attah paid part or the full amount of money he extorted.
Solomon said he’s ready to do that. There was a car parked in the compound which he could be heard saying that he’ll sell for 10,000 Euros—that’ll cover half of the amount.
A paedophile got a deserved beating after he was sentenced to receive 100 lashes of the cane for having sex with an underage girl.
The Indonesian man was one of two men given the punishment, one for having sex with his underage step-daughter, and the other for having sex with an underage neighbour.
During the public flogging which was carried out in Indonesia’s conservative Aceh province on Wednesday, the man began begging for mercy after the 5th stroke of the cane.
He raised his hand and begged the masked officer carrying out the lashing to stop, saying he could not take the pain, but after doctors declared him fit enough to continue, he received 95 more strikes.
Local prosecutor Isnawati said:
We’ll only postpone a caning if the doctors say there’s a serious health threat.
The other man being punished took all 100 lashes in silence while blood began to seep through his white shirt.
Both men were also sentenced to up to five years in prison.
Controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze has taken to his official handle to celebrate Nigerian Blogger, Linda Ikeji for her effort in the propagation of Christianity and equally applauded her for doing wonders for the body of Christ than Adeboye, Eneche and others.
His Instagram post reads ;
Today, The #FreeNation in Christ celebrates @lindaikejiblog and congratulates her on her bundle of joy, Jayce!
My interview about tithing on her page, took my message about the real truth about Christ to the ends of the earth and afforded many people the opportunity to experience the true Gospel of Christianity, for the first time.
Many people who follow me today learnt about me for the first time via that interview, circa a year ago, on her blog.
I liken her to the Samaritan woman at the well, whom Christ himself described as a ‘harvester’ for bringing souls to salvation.
In my opinion, Linda has done more for the body of Christ and the propagation of Christianity that Adeboye, Oyedepo, Adefarasin and Enenche combined! ~FRZ

Linda Ikeji is still trending, and many Nigerians have come forward to say a thing or two about he explosive post.
Big Brother Naija former housemate, Ifu Ennada is the latest to react to her story. Reminiscing about her past, Ennada talked about how her ex-boyfriend, Michael got married, without even telling her.
Read her comment below;
“That God brought someone significant into your life doesn’t mean they are supposed to follow you throughout your life’s journey.” – Linda Ikeji.
This made me think about my Ex who did his traditional wedding before I went to Big Brother. He kept it from me but led me on… We were going to have sex as soon as I left Big Brother, then I fouund out he had just done his white wedding – something he hid from me and all that time I did know he traditionally got married last year.
Anyone who knows my “Michael story” knows how much the disappointment has shaped me… I loved him like my life depended on it and I sincerely thought he was the one…
He’s one of the reasons I continuously favour the idea of not getting married… the kind of betrayal he served me was beyond brutal. How do you know someone for over 5yrs, look up to him, love him faithfully and then he goes and acts like a total grade, a douchebag?
Your message spoke to me Linda. Michael’s part is done in my life, but the scars he brought upon me are turning me into the Best Girl ever. Every now again I thank God because through Michael he made me realise I can certainly be everything and more just with his (God) help.
According to new rumors making rounds, Linda Ikeji who got dumped by her baby daddy, Sholaye Jeremi, allegedly stalked him, and was even sent home a couple of times.
This was made known by Twitter users who apparently live close to the 5th roundabout house in Lekki, Linda talked about in her post.
According to these Twitter users, the blogger was usually sent home for showing up sometimes uninvited, but she made it seem like Sholaye Jeremi was always the one begging.
Read the tweets below;
Linda Ikeji didn’t add the parts where she’d visit Jeremi uninvited and get sent back home because she was literally stalking him. But she said he’s been the one always begging
She always shoots herself in the foot when she tells us her stories. Stop asking me how did I know. I know about the 3 bedroom apartment in 5th roundabout. The 3 bedroom apartment na pent house Sha and the rent no be here.
Jeremi’s story is entirely different from the little I’ve heard. And I know it will blow up soon. Too many lies and she keeps telling more. She even took pictures of her house and made an emotional post about how she’d live her mansion for something not like it. Lin Lin dey lie Sha
Another Twitter user who reacted to the report of Linda Ikeji getting dumped, wrote;
Also mentioned 3 bedroom apartment because the guy moved the new chic he’s dating to Banana Island and her body is peppering her

In reaction, Kemi who revealed that Linda blocked her on instagram because she supported Mukhtar for filing a DCMA against her in 2014, welcomed the blogger to single motherhood. The journalist also revealed that she has raised 3 and also raising one for Davido.

If you also have over 40 minutes to spare.. You can watch her full reaction below;
Years ago, I was armed with naivety of how the Nigerian entertainment industry worked and I looked at a lot of people with awe—like a child will look at Santa. Linda was one of those people I felt was all that.
I mean, in a world well dominated by men who know what they are doing and the ones that don’t know what they are doing Linda was and is a stand out. The story of blogging in Africa cannot even begin without Linda writing the preface. Linda made a fortune from not minding her business; she built an empire with a foundation of lies, conspiracies, amebo and many times bitterness.
Scratch that!
Linda, all my friends have been calling me after you came out of the baby mama closet this morning. They said my madam is a scam, they said you are a “manipulative bitch”, they said people who take you seriously are the same people who take the tooth fairy thing seriously. I feel sad Linda. You “fell” my hand in different ways. I am not going to call you out for “felling” into pregnancy but I will call you out for preaching celibacy online but offline you drive 2 hours from your house enduring the insane traffic of Lagos to Jermi’s house because of the same coitus you told young girls not to do. Enjoying one for the road!
Linda!! How cold of you my dear. Enjoying the magic of orgasms and telling girls not to enjoy what you are enjoying. This speaks a lot about you. You are one hell of a greedy person. Depriving girls of something as vital as orgasm in this god forsaken country?? Sigh.
Years ago, you slandered all the available baby mamas in Nigeria and around the world.
I mean!! You were their nightmare. You gave them sleepless nights, you gave them low self esteem, you made it seem like a grown woman cannot decide not to have a husband but have a child. Look at you now my dear. You have become what you laughed at. You have written an epistle punctuated with your near-deflated ego and unserious grammar usage. You always make history dear. You are the first woman to ever “fell” in pregnancy in the history of the world.
Karma knows your address my dear. It isn’t done visiting you yet. For all the innocent people you slandered with your blog, you will receive in the same measure. You think parking out of the mainland to Banana Island will confuse karma or make it leave you?? Sorry. Karma is the greatest cartographer of all times dear. It knows everywhere!
After reading your coming out story, I remembered this quote “To defend the truth, you say very little, to defend deceit, you have to keep explaining yourself.” Every smart person that read your story knows that there is more to it but because you are Linda that cares less about truth but more about lies, you have drowned part of the truth. My dear, truth na soap. It may take time but very soon, e go bubble and the bubble go clear your eye once more.
Forgive me Linda, I thought you had sense. I won’t do it again.

Linda Ikeji is a trending topic today, all thanks to her explosive post, where she revealed that indeed Sholaye Jeremi is her baby daddy, and also revealing the details that led to the tragic end of her relationship with her baby daddy.
The post has since gone viral, and many Online users are trollinng her already.
See some comments below;
Incase you missed it, below is her post:
Two days before my 38th birthday on September 17th, I welcomed my first child, my son, Jayce. I look at him and I wonder why I waited so long to have a child. I’ve never known love like this. I literally have tears in my eyes every time I look at him. I can’t believe he came out of me. He is by far my greatest blessing and I’m looking forward to navigating him through life!
Now to the reason why you are reading this. I argued with myself for a long time whether to put this out or not…and finally decided it was a story I wanted to share. I’ve always been open about my life but I’m sharing details about my personal life mostly because of the girls who look up to me. The girls I have mentored, mentoring right now and plan to mentor in the future. I’m very particular about our young girls and I have personally tried over the years to be an example in some way; tried to teach these girls how to fight for their dreams, how to live right and do right and then I go and have a child out of wedlock and that must be a little confusing to some of them and especially with so many untruthful stuff out there about me. The most hilarious is that I had a child for a married man. Lol. Here’s my answer to that! The married man that I will sleep with has not yet been born. If he’s been born, he will die, be buried, rise and die again before he will lay with me. I don’t do married men. The father of my child is a single man and his name is Sholaye Jeremi. To be honest, at some point I thought he was my final bus stop but you know how life happens…lol. Unfortunately he and I are a completely closed chapter. Sadly for our son Jayce, it’s the kind of chapter that can’t ever be opened again.
One of the things many people have asked me is how I met this man because we don’t run in the same circle. Well, I met him 3 years ago at Wheatbaker Restaurant in Ikoyi in December 2015 shortly after I moved to my home in Banana Island, Ikoyi. It was a day after Christmas and I was having dinner with friends when he walked in. He saw me and the rest is history. He claimed at the time that he had never heard of me which was seriously a turn-on for me because up until then I’d only been meeting men who behaved like fans. At the time we met, I was 35 and he was 37 and I’d been single for nearly 4 years. I was definitely searching and I fell in love almost immediately and so we became an item.
At the time I met him he lived in a 3-bedroom flat at what used to be 5th roundabout in Lekki after Mobil. I used to drive for almost two hours in traffic from my house to go see him. Most of the time, I carried my laptop to his home to enable me to work and at the same time spend the whole day with him.
It was a whirlwind romance. He was the funniest and most romantic guy I’d met up until that point, so it was easy to fall in love and I truly believed the feeling was mutual. A few weeks after we met, it seemed like we were planning a future together. This man was already calling me Linda Ikeji Jeremi and making all these plans but then just like that, it was over between us. I went from waking up every morning to love text messages from him to no more calls. I was just thanking God for finally sending me my own man when all of a sudden we were no longer talking to each other. Later he would tell me what scared him off. My public life. He claims he’s a private business man and didn’t want the attention being with me would bring to him and I told him I understood and we went our separate ways. We tried to get back together in 2016 but it didn’t work out so much so we separated again but stayed in touch (mostly him to be honest), stayed friends and that was how our back and forth started.
By mid-2017, we were both still single and we started seeing each other again quietly. There were times it was very intense and we talked about a future together, and there were times that I couldn’t figure out what exactly I was doing with this guy. We were not suited for each other. Totally different lifestyles. And there was the problem of my fame. I walked away from this man a million times and he came after me a million and one times. No matter how much I pushed him away, he kept coming back and me, because I couldn’t find anyone else, I kept going back. Lol. So I was basically going back to my ex because I couldn’t find anyone else. *sigh*.
Then I fell pregnant. It wasn’t planned, it just happened; though we talked about having a child together just two months before I fell pregnant. He said something about putting a billionaire baby inside me and I remember jokingly telling him that I’m also a billionaire so our child was going to be a billionaire on both side…and we laughed. But after I fell pregnant, things became extremely weird between us. If I tried to explain what happened, I wouldn’t be able to because it was confusing to me. We went from talking about the pregnancy and being okay with it; he even suggested I go to Dubai for my pre-natals as he didn’t trust doctors in Nigeria, to literally not talking to each other anymore. Around when I was about three months pregnant, he did come to see my parents and actually became very cool with my dad. They were literally exchanging Whatsapp messages every day. He later agreed to a traditional wedding which he didn’t follow through and then he switched. He began to treat me with so much hate and aggression that I and my family had to cut him off completely.
To be honest if anybody had told me when we met three years ago, considering how deeply we cared for each other that I would fall pregnant two years later and he would completely turn his back on me for most part of my pregnancy, I never would have believed it but that’s what happened. I had to draw strength from myself, my family and close friends.
And Jayce…oh my son Jayce, he was my biggest strength. It was almost as if he knew his dad was acting up so he came through for his mum. He was gentle with me when I was carrying him. I had an extremely easy pregnancy. I pushed him out under 3 mins and was in the labour room for less than 30 minutes. And then my snapback was amazing. Three weeks later, it was almost as if I’d never been pregnant. Jayce was my soldier when his dad turned his back.
But still, I have absolutely no iota of regret meeting Sholaye. Gosh, have you seen Jayce? How can I regret that? God doesn’t make mistakes. If you believe that you’re always led by God like I believe then I have to believe that God led me to this man for whatever reasons best known to Him. I thought God sent him as my life partner but I guess He just used him as a vessel for my greatest blessing. Now his part in my story is over. I know when to put my hands up and surrender. That God brought someone significant into your life doesn’t mean they are supposed to follow you throughout your life’s journey. We should learn to know when people’s part in our story is over. Don’t fight for closure, don’t ask for explanations, don’t chase answers, just let them go and know that if God meant for you to have them in your life, He would have given them to you. Sometimes people just come to serve a purpose in your life and are not meant to stay and there’s no point holding on to them. This one is done and dusted. It’s just Jayce and I now moving forward and I know life will be beautiful for us.
Being a single mum wasn’t the dream I had for myself; I’d prayed for the kind of happy home my parents built for us (they’ve been together for 40 years). Nothing is more important to me than family. For years I’d hammered on how much I was looking forward to getting married, having children and building my own family and I believed God was going to come through for me on that one, but I have come to understand that we have no control over what life throws at us no matter how much we plan, pray, or work. And we also have no control over the actions of other people towards us. One of the things I have learnt in my life’s journey is that your idea of how life should go might be different from the way life actually goes. It’s called Life Happening. Sometimes it unfolds into something we never dreamed of but because we don’t recognize the route we find ourselves on our journey through life, doesn’t mean God won’t get us to our destination. Remember, an uncertain chapter doesn’t ruin the whole book. Life will happen whether we are ready or not. All we can do is keep our heads up and keep moving.
Family and close friends told me I owed no one any explanation about the circumstances that led to the birth of my son, but I knew without writing this, I could never stand in front of the young girls who look up to me and talk to them again. I could never go on my secondary school tour and speak with these girls again about living right and doing right. I would always feel like I have no moral right to do so. I went to 15 secondary schools in 2017 and talking to those young impressionable girls has been one of the highlights of my life. I cancelled this year’s tour because I was pregnant and I haven’t made any preparations for next year’s tour because I wanted to set things right first.
I have so many plans for young girls next year and in the coming years with the Selfmade finance and mentorship projects with international collaborations, so this was important for me to do, to explain myself to the young girls who look up to me and feel disappointed that I got pregnant and had a baby out of wedlock. For years, I have preached decency, morality and uprightness and despite what happened to me, I mean it from the bottom of my heart. That should be the only way to live. That’s the only way I live. Don’t ever compromise your values. With this, I was led by my heart and my clock ticking and even though I have no regrets, I’m sorry if I let any of you ladies down by the decision I made, and I hope you learn from my experience. I hope you do better than I did. The ideal thing would be to find a man you love, who loves you back and gives you stability, get married, have kids and raise a family, not being a single mum or a baby mama. I was 37 years old at the time I conceived and if I want to be honest, my age played a role in me allowing myself to be pregnant out of wedlock. I don’t want to be having kids in my 40s or struggling with fertility later in life. This wasn’t the plan but like I said before, life happens. You just have to find a way to make the best of what life throws at you. And so for any young girl this means anything to, I am truly sorry. I am not sorry I had Jayce, I’m just sorry I didn’t go about it the right way.
But you know, despite this crazy love experience, I still believe in love and I believe in happy endings and I can’t wait to one day, God willing, have my fairy tale ending. The father of my child is the only man I’ve given a chance to in 6 years. Lol. I swear. I’m not really a relationship kind of girl. I’m more a career girl. I can go for years without a man. I’m one of those women who don’t need a man to validate their existence but biko, I’ve done the single life enough in the past…lol… going forward I’m looking forward to giving someone else a chance and try this love thing again. I was raised in a happy 2-parents’ home and that’s what I want for Jayce. So I hope I meet a great guy soon until then I’m enjoying motherhood. It rocks! Life has never been more beautiful!
I’d also like to address a few other issues. Number one is this celibacy issue. So many people have trolled me over it and I’d like to correct the misunderstanding. I have never ever in my life said people shouldn’t have sex before marriage. NEVER EVER have I said that. I have even argued with quite a few people that it is not feasible in this day and age. What I have always said and I maintain till today is; Do not ever sleep with men for money because any woman with a brain and determination can get her own money herself. And there’s nothing sweeter than your own money. I am 38 years old and I recently bought a N100million+ car; what the heck do you need to be sleeping with a man for? For designer bags, first class tickets and luxury holidays? GTFOH with sleeping with a man for rent money! You can give yourself all that and more if you apply yourself, fight for your dream and work your butt off. Men don’t have the exclusive right to create wealth; women can also create wealth. Money is not male. Wealth is not male. Success is not male. We women just need to believe in ourselves more and get off our butts and stop relying on our looks and charm instead of our brain, mind, will, and our God given talent/gift. We can be rich, we can be successful, we can break barriers, do what was formerly termed impossible, do what men can do, be CEOs of conglomerates and billionaires without ever having to lie on our backs. Please ladies, we are powerful beyond measure and can do anything and be anything we want to be.
The other thing I’ve always said is; do not sleep around with multiple men who just use your body for their pleasure; that is; too many one night stands, casual sex, many sex partners in a short period of time all in the name of relationships. Your body deserves better. I feel sex should only happen when you’re in a loving, committed relationship with someone you love. I was celibate for many years until I met my son’s father and fell in love. And instead of increasing my body count, I just went back to the same eggplant…lol. My mistake was I should have walked away when the relationship became a waste…lol… but then again, Jayce wouldn’t be here today if I had. So really, there’s nothing that I have preached that I didn’t practice. So you guys stop trolling me over this abeg! Lol.
Thank you for reading and thank you for your understanding.
