Kashif Ali, a 21-year-old student from Raipur village in Sialkot, Pakistan and Maria Helena Abrams, a 41-year-old reiki master, driver and dog trainer from California, have tied the knot.
The couple met on the Instagram 10 months ego, fell in love and decided to get married. The wedding took place in a Sialkot hotel on Friday.
The ceremony was simple. It was a private affair, with only close relatives being invited.
After the wedding, Helena said she felt “very loved, and a little sleepy”. She added: “Kashif is wonderful. I love him. He makes me happy.”
“I don’t know whether we’ll live in Pakistan or America and it doesn’t matter as long as we’re together,” said Helena, who has embraced Islam.
A 19-year-old boy from Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi State, startled workers at the Center for Psychic and Healing, a private herbal center located in Awka, when he opened a bag and brought out the genitals and fingers of a little boy he killed in Ebonyi State and brought to the center to perform rituals that would make him rich.
What surprised onlookers was the boldness with which the teenager identified as Ekwashi Sunday Onwe explained how one Blessing, now at large, took him from Ebonyi State to Awka, two days earlier, to show him where the ritual would be performed.
For her efforts, Blessing was allegedly paid N50,000, even though Sunday, who paid her the money, has no means of livelihood.
However, the bubble burst when Sunday discovered that he had been sent on a mission impossible.
He said:
“I knew Blessing, even though I do not know her house. I told her my problem which was that the petty trading I was engaged in had collapsed and that I was finding life very difficult.
She then suggested to me that I could be a rich man if I killed somebody and take the private parts to a place she would direct me.
We first came to Anambra State to look for someone to kill, but we did not succeed, which made us to go back to Ebonyi. On that fateful day, I sighted the boy as he was escorting his sister to fetch water from a borehole.
It was Emeka my friend (now at large), who rushed and captured him and we carried him into the bush where I used machete to cut off his head. When I made sure that he had died, I cut off his genital organs and fingers and used a container to collect his blood.
We then threw his body and the head into the stream”.
He said further that Blessing, who brought him to Awka, said if he could bring the fresh penis and fingers of a boy, the woman would prepare a charm which would make him rich and that it was a place where his problems would be solved.

Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II,has revealed that he was never really single, as he has a permanent Olori in the palace spiritually and was only joined to a new one physically who happens to be a prophetess and evangelist.
In an exclusive chat with KORE OGIDAN, Ooni of Ife speaks on his life in the palace and other issues
Excerpts
As a kid, did you always know you would end up being a king?
The prophesies came before I was born. Also, kings are actually born, not made. In my case, before I was born, it had been predicted that I would be king and to God’s glory, that prophesy stood and came to reality. There are many predictions and destinies that actually don’t get fulfilled but thank God that mine came to pass. It was God who made mine to become a reality. I had been very conscious of it growing up. Also, before I became king, as a prince, I had been friends to many other kings. I had learnt the rope for many years before I assumed the throne.
You must have had a great birthday with your wedding just two days apart. Tell us about that experience for you.
I don’t know why the whole world made a big deal about it. To the glory of God, marriage is one of the things that one should do. Honestly though, I was never really single. I have a permanent Olori in the palace spiritually but I just joined my new one physically. The permanent Olori in the palace is the Yeyemolu, who is the first Olori in the palace and she has a spiritual role to play in here. As a matter of fact, the Ooni can never be single because he permanently has a wife in the palace. Even if there is no woman in the palace, she, the Yeyemolu, is there always. Many people probably just thought I was single all the while. What I am going to say about my new wife is that to the glory of God, she is a good lady.
Knowing you were going to be king, were you spanked as a kid?
Of course! But they were advised never to touch or hit my head, even as a kid. But, everywhere else was beatable. I became very conscious of my head growing up.
What was your worst childhood experience?
When I got into secondary school at about age 11, there was a classmate of mine who beat me up one day by the classroom and gave me a very deep scar on my hand. The scar is on my left hand and it almost rendered that hand useless, especially for me being left-handed. Every time I see that scar, I remember the experience.
What other fond memories do you have of your childhood?
I used to win a lot of prizes as a kid and that always made my parents proud. Another memory was getting into Loyola College, Ibadan, and there is a story to that. I always came first in class in primary school. One day, I came third, losing to a boy and a girl who both came first. There was no second position and I came third. My parents were very disappointed and I promised them that I would finish well. When I went in to sit my common entrance examination, I came first in my entire primary school and with the tough competition there, I was able to enter Loyola College. I got in on merit. That made my parents proud and I was able to prove to them that I was still in control of the situation.
Even as a king, do you cook in the palace?
That is not even possible. As the king, you have to knock 16 inner and outer doors before you get to me. It’s a big process and there are so many processes and procedures that I met from my ancestors before becoming king; so, no, I don’t cook. However, before I became king, I did cook a lot and very well. My mother taught me how to cook.
Your regalia looks amazing. How do you really like to dress?
To the glory of God, my dress sense has to have a proper blend of spirituality and modernity. My dress sense must connote who I am as a spiritual head of the Yoruba race. Before Christianity or Islam, the Yoruba heritage and culture and tradition have remained intact to date and we didn’t blend our tradition at all in Ife. There is a particular divination and spirituality we go through and I had to master them and see how to blend that with my everyday life. This is why my dress sense depicts what happens in Ife, and by extension, the Yoruba land.
Ahmed Musa hit out at an Instagram user who said because he is a Muslim, he shouldn’t have joined other Super Eagles stars in singing a worship song.
Yesterday, the Super Eagles stand-in captain, shared a dressing room video of himself and other stars singing a worship song after Nigeria qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
It was a lovely video that showed the eagles savour their qualification to the continental showpiece, but everyone didn’t seem to be pleased with the video.
An Instagram user sparked a controversy on his page by criticizing him for dancing and singing to a worship song, saying he shouldn’t have done so since he was a Muslim.
Well the Al-Nassr striker wasn’t having it and had to set the record straight. See his replies below;

Big Brother Naija housemates, Tobi and CeeC were close to being reconciled recently but the former certainly didn’t want it and he has got fans’ tongues wagging.
In a new video making the rounds online, show promoter, Paul Okoye was seen trying to bring the former love interests together but Tobi was reluctant as he said he’d rather die than be reconciled with CeeC.
In the video, Paul holds on to CeeC and then tries to hold Tobi too as to bring them closer to each other but Tobi is seen removing himself from Paul’s arms as he walks away saying,
“Oga Paul, I no gree this one, una go kill me first”
One can’t easily tell if the duo had another serious encounter after the big brother house which warrants to Tobi’s action but it’s clear that the photographer doesn’t want to have anything to do with her… at least, not yet?
Could it be that he’s still hurt from how she treated him in the Big Brother house or something else happened? Perhaps, the tables have turned and he’s bitter that she’s now with Leo? Who knows?!
Nigerian Afro pop star, Davido‘s 26th birthday is on the 21st of November 2018 and in light of this, he’s been receiving early birthday gifts which he has not failed in showing off on Instagram.

Recently Nigerian rapper, Yung6ix revealed in an Instagram post that he lost a lot of money on his bitcoin investment.
According to him, that was his worst life experience, although he was not depressed about the incident.
However, in a chat with Sunday Scoop, Yung6ix said he has the ability to make the money over and over again and so had no reason to enter into depression.
“It was a sad experience and I’m just trying to let go at the moment. It was the worst experience ever. However, I am not depressed. I made the money I lost and I can make it over and over again. The hustle doesn’t stop. If you give into challenges, you will fall. But if you brace up and face them, you will rise way higher than you were before,” he said.
Offering advice to people from his experience, the rapper said,
“My advice to people is this – don’t put your money in any crypto currency company that does not have an office or customer care service.”
Reacting to the claim that he doesn’t make his money from music, the rapper asked,
“If music doesn’t pay my bills, what will pay it? God has been good to me. In the last 20 months, I have had three endorsement deals and four tours across six countries. I honestly cannot complain. The bitcoin was one of my best investments. I actually lost most of the money I got from the Patricia endorsement to it but it is a minor setback. God will not give you a challenge you cannot handle. I have been in worse situations and I overcame them.”
As the Nigerian Super Eagles have joyfully qualified for the 2019 African cup of nations leaving South Africa to decide its fate in her next match, a South African lady has gone viral after a video of her hiding after she realized the camera was on her during the match was shared online.
The lady’s reaction stirred up a frenzy as many began thinking that she might be on a ‘cheating date’ with a side dude.
South Africans on Twitter have already launched a search for the boyfriend of the South African lady, hiding from the camera during the match.
Planet TV presenter, Nomfundo Yekani, who is the host of the channel’s news segment, Newsbox, left viewers wowed after she appeared on TV screens in a bra top that exposed her massive cleavage.
People have been taken aback by how revealing the outfit is and have wondered if the producers of the show were not modest enough to stop her from being aired in it.
On her part, it’s not necessarily surprising that she’d don such a wear, as after looking at her Instagram page, it’s apparent that she has a flair for revealing outfits.
Davido will be turning 26 on the 21st of November 2018, and he’s taken to his Instagram page to show off the $300,000 Richard Mille timepiece someone gave him as early birthday gift.
Although, the singer didn’t reveal who gifted him with the expensive timepiece. He only captioned the photo: ‘Early Bday Gift @richardmilleofficial … No cap !! Do the maths ‘
Meanwhile, Davido thinks his girlfriend, Chioma Avril Rowland should always be thankful.
Yesterday, the singer took to his Instagram to post his latest photo, with a caption in which he reminded his girlfriend how lucky she is to have him.
“Hmmm @thechefchi your fucking lucky!! ?? YOU GOT YOURSELF A FINE MAN!!” he said in the post, and Chioma responded in the affirmative. “Lmao I knoww,” she replied.
This comes weeks after Davido threatened to take TheCable to court after they published a report in which they claimed his relationship with Chioma Avril Rowland hit the rocks over infidelity claims.
He and Chioma have since been making public appearances and posting photos of themselves to disperse the rumours.
A Nigerian man is in pains, after he mistakenly transferred N1m to an Uber driver as payment for a trip recently.
According to the Nigerian man, the money he transferred to the Uber driver was part payment for a family member who is battling a life threatening disease at the hospital.
He wrote;
Help!!! I Mistakenly Sent N1m To A Uber Driver
Please read carefully before commenting
I have a very serious issue that has been a pain on my neck and I will try as much as I can to summarize everything
I sent a sum of N1m to a Uber taxi driver’s account number on the 20th October, 2018. This money was a part payment bill for one of my family members who is battling with a life-threatening health issues. That happened about 4 weeks ago.
This is how the whole thing happened
A friend of mine paid me a courtesy visit and when he was about leaving, I used my rider app to request a ride for him and the driver came and took him to his destination. He told my friend the estimated cost of the fare was N4,800 but my friend didn’t even bother to check because he felt he probably would not lie about it.
My friend called and told me the fare was N4,800 and I requested for the Uber taxi driver’s account number after which I made the payment. The next day (20th October), I needed to make a transaction of N1m to someone for a part payment bill of my family member’s treatment oblivious of the fact that I actually made the payment to the Uber taxi driver’s account number. This was because I added him in my beneficiary when I wanted to make the payment.
I went to the rider app to get his contact, only for me to realize he actually inflated the fare from N3,400 to N4,800 which I literally paid for. You can see he’s not an honest person but I wasn’t really bothered about that.
I called and pleaded to him to refund the 1m I sent to his account. At first, he acted as if he didn’t receive any money but after series of calls, he later confirmed it. I sent my account details to him and he promised to refund me on Monday as it was weekend.
Monday came and the dude started acting funny. He would pick my calls and remain silent. There were times he gave the phone to a lady to talk to me. Sometimes he yelled at me to stop disturbing him, and a point, he even stopped picking my calls
I mailed Uber and narrated everything that transpired. They responded requesting for evidence to back up my claim which I provided. I took screenshots of the first (inflated fare) and second payment and attached it to my massage. They responded telling me I should exercise patience and that they will look into my issue
It’s been 4 weeks now and Uber has been lackadaisical towards this issue. I have messaged them several times and they seem to be less concerned about it. With the way Uber has been acting towards this issue, one could conclude that they’re trying to cover up this guy. Someone that can easily call and resolve this issue.
They have just been acting like they’re more concerned about their own pockets than customer’s satisfaction. I expect them to have taken up the issue for properly investigation despite providing solid evidence.
Please everyone! I have tried and I’m already fed up. Their customer care is my last resort but they have been nonchalant despite knowing the name, vehicle type, and license plate number of someone working for them. Even the Uber driver in question has failed to refund the money and has been avoiding me.
I went to the bank recently and his account has been frozen but I haven’t been able to get my money
This country is just messed up. Even the police aren’t helping matters. They are demanding their own share of about 150k
Attached is
1. picture of the uber driver 2. Chat with uber 3. Proof of 3400 as exact tfare 4. Proof of 1m transfer to the uber driver

A lady was, today, brutalized by her husband for allegedly slamming the door against him at their Abuja home.
According to the ‘wife-beater’, he had warned her, on several occasions, against the act, but she has refused to change, hence the beating.
However, an eyewitness said:
“I am so bitter this evening. I was sleeping when noise in the neighborhood woke me up, so I rushed out to see what was happening. .
Behold, a woman lying down on the ground with a lot of blood. I asked people what happened and I was told that the husband beat her to that extent.
I looked and saw the husband still quarreling with people who came to know what the wife did. He spoke with no sign of remorse towards people and even attempted fighting people too.
I was told he has been maltreating and assaulting his wife for two years now, but the wife can’t summon courage to go because her parents are dead and she doesn’t know anywhere else to go.
I asked about her relations, if any is Abuja, but they said they don’t know. I could see the wife’s pain.
Even though she was bleeding people around didn’t really care about her state of health. No one offered to take her to hospital. All they were just doing was heaping curses on the husband but totally ignored the bleeding wife.
Police later came and took both to their station. This man will definitely kill that woman one day if he is not stopped. According to the husband, she banged the door against him, despite warning her not to do that.”

See ladies, put yourselves first bc men are selfish and they won’t feel bad for you bc you held yourself back for them
Read her response below;
I put my career on hold to do something life changing for a guy I dated. Turned down two job offers because they conflicted with his personal plans. Then when things got sour, he said to me and I quote “I owe you nothing” And he was right. I just had to learn it the hard way.
Former Big Brother Naija reality tv star, Nina Chinonso Onyenobi has just obtained a new car, which will be her second in this year.
The beautiful light skinned lady took to her Instastories to announce the great news having acquired a Lexus SUV said to worth thousands if not millions of Naira.
Nollywood actress, Linda Ejiofor and her forever lover, Ibrahim Suleiman brought their on-screen love to reality as they traditionally tied the knot last week.
The groom Ibrahim in a chat with BN shared what makes him so happy about the ceremony:
“Now I don’t have to be sad that she has to go home to her father’s house at 7:30 pm, any day we hang out. She is all mine.”
Narrating their love story, Linda revealed that they planned their wedding within six weeks after he asked her to marry him!
In her words,
Ibrahim and I have been friends for a few years now, but it was not until after his mum passed away in June 2016 that we really started to bond. He was in a really dark place and was ready to throw in the towel and move back to Abuja so he could be closer to his siblings. I (along with a few members of his inner circle) was able to convince him to stay in Lagos.
He accepted a job as an Architect with a design and build firm, while working towards his first solo exhibition as an artist. In November 2016, I, Harry Dorgu, and Adesua Wellington talked him into showing up for a reading for a role on Africa Magic’s TINSEL. Prior to this, he had never acted a scene in his life, so it was quite a coin toss for him. The audition went well and he landed the role of Damini White, a character who is Bimpe Adekoya’s boss who becomes her onscreen lover.
Over the next 13 months, we had to see each other on set 3-5 times a week and then our friendship grew stronger. Ibrahim developed feelings soon after but was hesitant as he didn’t want to risk losing me as his closest friend if the relationship didn’t work out. Eventually, he squared up and told me how he felt. Turns out the feeling was mutual and we both started dating quietly, with only their siblings, very close friends and a couple of colleagues in the know.
