The eyes of murdered DELSU student, Elozino Ogege, a 300 level student of Mass Communication, has been found in a shrine after the police arrested the native doctor ‘incharge’ of the rituals.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Andrew Aniamaka , who disclosed that “all those connected with the gruesome murder of Elozino have been arrested and will duly be prosecuted”, added that a security staff identified as Onos Ekana, who works in Site III of the university campus, two suspected internet fraudsters popularly known as ‘Yahoo Boys’ and a native doctor are currently in police custody.
Aniamaka who further confirmed that the eyes of murdered DELSU student and her heart were found at the shrine, said;
“A herbalist who the ritualists gave the body parts removed from the deceased has been arrested and we found the eyes of the deceased and her heart in his shrine in Warri.
“During the confessional statement of the two ritualists nabbed in Umege, Abraka, they said that they have also given human parts to the said herbalist on five different occasions, though they were not specific if the five persons murdered were DELSU students”.
“Investigations will be concluded soon and the culprits will be prosecuted.”
“We must stop celebrating those that get their wealth through evil ways,” he told Oasis magazine.
Funeral arrangements have been put in place for late on air personality, Tosyn Bucknor who died on Monday, 19th November after she battled with sickle cell.
She will be laid to rest on Thursday 29th November 2018 shortly after her funeral service which will be held at the Harvesters International Christian Center.
A special service of songs and tribute night also be held in her honour on Wednesday 28th November, 2018 at Harbour Point, Victoria Island.

The Kano State Police Command has reportedly apprehended a 41-year-old Islamic teacher, Alhaji Aminu Musa, for allegedly raping an 8-year-old female student.
The suspect, who was hired by a couple to teach their children Qur’an studies inside their residence located at Dakata Kawaji Quarters, Kano, was caught red hand while raping the girl.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Superintendent Magaji Musa Majiya, said that an elder sister of the victim not only caught him raping the victim, but also videotaped the incident, on November 20, 2018.
The suspect has since confessed to the commission of the crime and admitted that he lured the girl through persistent enticement and cuddling.
Nigerian singer cum actor and politician, Banky W, auctioned his 2008 Range Rover SUV over the weekend after he had earlier stated he would give the proceeds to Charity.

Some men suspected to be Indian hemp dealers at Ogbese in the Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State have allegedly beaten up a woman, identified as Mrs Martina Christopher, her father and brother to a pulp over the disappearance of bags of cannabis kept on the victims’ farmland.
It was gathered that the Indian hemp dealers, numbering about 40, had last Thursday invaded Martina’s farmland, located at Bolorunduro village in the council area, to search for some bags of the cannabis earlier kept on the farm. They were said to have met Martina’s brother, Isaac Akpan, working in the farm.
As the dealers could not find the bags of cannabis, it was gathered that they accused Isaac of stealing the product and thereafter tortured him before taking him away.
Having received the news of the incident, Martina and her father, Mr Joseph Akpan, were said to have traced the hoodlums to Ilu-Abo community in order to rescue Isaac, but they too were beaten up by the alleged hemp dealers.
Narrating her ordeal, Martina said,
“I went to the farm very late on the fateful day to join my husband and brother on the farm, because we had left the farm unattended to for some days.
“I met these people, about 40 of them on 15 motorcycles, then I saw my brother, who had been beaten and injured, sandwiched between some of the hoodlums on one of the motorcycles; I had to turn back and later, I was told that he had been taken to Ilu-Abo.
“I then went to Ilu-Abo in company with our father, only to see my brother mercilessly beaten and injured; and immediately the hoodlums saw us, they descended on us and beat me and my father to a pulp, demanding to know the whereabouts of the bags of Indian hemp kept on our farm.
“My father fainted and as I tried to touch him, they gave me a machete cut, while some of them beat me with sticks and I also fainted, because I had lost a lot of blood.”
She explained that the hoodlums threatened to wipe out the entire family if they failed to produce the missing bags of Indian hemp, adding that the hoodlums bragged that no security operatives could arrest them.
The husband of the victim, Mr Augustine Christopher, said he had to report the case at the Area Command in Oba Ile, Akure, following the threat to wipe out his family.
He appealed to the state government and the security agents to save his family from the hoodlums.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident and said the command had made some arrests over the matter.

Former President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe who is unable to walk again, has been receiving medical treatment in Singapore over the last two months.
94-year-old Robert Mugabe who is expected to return home next week, ruled the southern African nation for nearly four decades since independence from Britain in 1980, was forced to resign in November 2017 after an army coup.
Speaking to ZANU-PF supporters at a rally in Murombedzi, Mr. Mugabe’s village some 100 km (60 miles) west of the capital Harare, President Emmerson Mnangagwa who did not disclose the treatment Robert Mugabe who is unable to walk had been undergoing, said his predecessor was expected to return on October 15 but that his poor health had delayed the journey.
“We have just received a message that he is better now and will return on November 30.
“He can no longer walk but we will continue taking care of him,” Mr. Mnangagwa said, referring to Mr. Mugabe by his totem name Gushungo.

A 24-year-old South African woman, Busisiwe Mhlongo has been battling depression and PTSD as a result of repeated sexual abuse by her uncle’s son.
Busisiwe took to her Facebook page on November 22, to open up for the first time and narrated how her uncle’s son had raped her vaginally and anally from age 10, when she was in grade 4 to grade 6.
She didn’t tell anyone because the young man threatened to kill her with Ratex (rat poison). Ever since the incident, Busisiwe had been struggling mentally and emotionally and tried to take her own life several times.

I kept that secret until this year cause I was struggling mentally and emotionally, Back in February I attempted to commit suicide, overdosed pills-in April I overdosed pills again- In June I starved myself hoping to die- in August I overdosed pills again- in September I attempted to jump out my Res but the security saw me and I couldn’t cause he said Jump I will catch you- in October I started cutting myself from my hand to my elbow and if I feel like the razor isn’t sharp enough I would get another one- I did it until it was beyond my control and I was admitted and of course Psychiatry Ward was my ward,stayed there for weeks and was diagnosed with depression and PSTD….Generally if you know me- I am a Happy person and I love everything about everyone, to be diagnosed with depression was heavy for me and the medication is just too much. My mom and my other family members are aware of this now that have done drastic things. I have never got a call from my cousin say he is sorry. What he did to me was damaging physically, emotionally and sexually. He robbed me my childhood and virginity, I will never be able to know what it’s like to be a child because of the things he did to me, he used a baby oil so that his penis would go in, he would put baby inside me so I can be “wet for him”. He did it for 3 years and he was never satisfied. I have been struggling to even wake up in the morning and eat, let alone to trust a man, I am struggling to believe that I will be fine because depression is not a fly by night thing I am living with depression and PSTD…………. I have lost everything you can think of and if I win this battle – it’s game over for my cousin! I am coming for everything and I know this wil be a lot of drama but I am not going to protect a rapist…
A charm bearing robbery suspect who operates around the upper Iweka area of Onitsha, has been nabbed by residents of the area after he alongside others hoodlums attacked a lady and robbed her of her valuables.
The robbery suspect who disclosed that he acquired charms from a native doctor who lives Okpoko (a nearby city), to rob people of their handbags and cellphones, went on to reveal that when he holds it nothing can penetrate his body including knives and bullets – making him “bulletproof”.
It was gathered that the suspect who has been handed over to the appropriate authorities for prosecution, was given a hot chase and apprehended by residents of the area.

Enugu representative, Chidinma Leilani Aaron has been crowned Miss Nigeria 2018, in the star studded event which was held yesterday at the Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos.
The event kick started with eighteen contestants, but they were pruned to 12 finalists which include, Ntan Nton, Egede Lagele, Thomas Mseve, Ameh Munirah, Otunba Ifunaya, and Shitta Remilekun, Tizhe Usa Miriam, Okudili Odinaka Doris, Agida Stephanie, Ugwu Ijeoma, Aaron Chidinma Leilani, and Dunu Chisom Olivia.
However the 12 finalists were further cut down to 5; Dunu Chisom, Ntan Sharon Nton, Ameh Munirah, Agida Stephanie and Chidinma Aaron.
Chidinma Aaron was eventually crowned Miss Nigeria 2018, while Ameh emerged the second runner-up and Dunu was named the first runner-up.
The beauty pageant had no registration fee in a bid to be all-inclusive and “to prevent financial restraints on the part of young ladies who are truly deserving of the ultimate title”, however the winner took home N3 million, a luxury apartment and a car.
Chidinma Aaron now takes over the crown from Mildred Ehiguese who won the 2017 edition.

In the screenshot of the chat, it’s apparent that there was an issue that had to be addressed and so Rita gave Nina her mobile number to reach her better.

New photos of the family of five who went viral after their mental condition was brought to the attention of the public by a former National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Progress Oberiko, has emerged online
The family of Mr. & Mrs. Ben Ogar also know as the Ogoja mentally deranged couple were rescued few months ago following weeks of intense search by a team from the Cross River State Government and Federal Neuro Psychiatric hospital, Calabar, Cross River State.
According to his wife, Mr. Ben and his wife lost their means of livelihood about the same time six years ago while still resident in Abuja with their two kids, and what followed was a mental disorder leading to the Mr. Ben relocating himself and his wife to his country home in Ogoja where he opted to stay in a shanty rather than his father’s house.
His family rescued his first set of kids from him when he started showing signs of this disorder, and six years of roaming the streets of Ogoja produced the three kids he was rescued with.
Doctors confirmed Mr. Ben to be suffering from a mental disorder, while his wife is only having the ‘folie a deux’ syndrome as a result of her husband’s ideation. The children, two girls and a boy, are in very stable condition and are responding to treatment very well.
According to Progress Oberiko, unfortunately, support is yet to come from the government who initiated their rescue.
