Different reactions have been stirred up online after Chioma, wife of popular Afrobeats singer Davido, was spotted at a recent concert in London a few months after delivery.

The chef alongside other entertainers and relatives had turned up for her husband who had a show in the O2 arena.

Cubana chief priest who was also present at the venue had shared a video of the ongoing event on his Instagram page, capturing the singer’s wife in the process.

The clip however received several backlash from some internet users as they questioned her about the whereabouts of her kids.

In their opinion, she should be carrying out her motherly duties not showing up at every event and concert.

Popular Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has disclosed that she has never demanded payment for a feature from an artist.

In an interview with media personality Taymesan for a Tea With Tay podcast episode, the mother-of-one revealed that she never charged anyone before jumping on a song.

The “Duduke” hitmaker claims that she is picky about the music she features in and will only do it if she truly likes the song.

Simi said;

“Till this moment, I have never charged for a feature. For me to do a feature I have to really like it. I have to like the song.

If I like the song, give me half a day, I am done. If I don’t like the song I will most likely say no. It’s not personal. I can take a ‘No. Things are not personal, it’s just what it is.”

Recall that the former DMW signee took to the internet to deny any truth to the rumours that he had abused his lover, Cute Gemini.

He insisted that her swelling was caused by an allergy and that his ex-girlfriend had attempted to use the ruse to frame him.

Cute Gemini responded to Lil Frosh’s statement in a video she shared on her Instagram page with pictures of bruises.

In an effort to patch things up, she said he had been bugging her, texting her, and making calls.

She provided audio messages as proof of his threats against her friends, displaying his aggressive demeanour.

She further stated that the internal bleeding from the assault she received from Lil Frosh was the cause of her enlarged face.

Nigerian singer Sanni Goriola Wasiu also known as Lil Frosh has declared that the four-year-old accusation of violence made against him by his ex-girlfriend was false.

The young musician went back to the battery case that resulted in his 2020 contract with Davido’s record company, DMW, being terminated.

According to Lil Frosh, he never hit his ex-girlfriend, Gift Camille, also known as Cute Gemini, as was widely reported. He also claimed that she set him up on purpose to harm his career.

In the midst of recent rumours that Gift promised to frame a male TikToker, Frosh posted on his Instagram profile on Saturday. Frosh pleaded with Davido to reconsider his choice and requested an opportunity to rejoin DMW.

Lil Frosh said in a video that Cute Gemini’s contempt for his mother was the catalyst for the conflict, which led to his hitting her.

But he claimed to have apologised to her for raising his hands and promised never to do it again. However, he was aware of her purported allergic response five months later, and she used the swelling on her face to accuse him of being an abuser.

The artist bemoaned his diminishing fame and maintained his innocence, even though no one took him seriously when the incident became national news.

Lil Frosh wrote; “I thank God for the opportunity that just presented itself,God knows I did not beat Gemini. I was framed I was blackmailed, and after all I paid. I still can’t get my career back because of the lies that was told against me.

A Nigerian man who identifies as @Prince Victor Omonu has cried out via his page on Facebook after his relative who came to celebrate the birth of her grandchild in Abuja was murdered by kidnappers.

He revealed that the kidnappers had abducted both mother, daughter, and her newborn baby but shortly after killed both mother and daughter, leaving only the newborn alive.

The incident which was a heartbreaking one, left the man shattered as he described the world as a sad one.

He wrote;

A Nigerian lady has outsmarted her friends by traveling to Canada with the money they paid to purchase her wedding Asoebi.

The incident which was narrated by a tweep @AkiMarlin on the microblogging platform X has gained the attention of many.

According to the tweep, the lady had lied to her friends about getting married and sold Asoebi and a hand fan, which was to be worn at the event to them for 50k and 10k respectively.

They however found out that she faked the whole ceremony and flew to Canada after she was absent from the location she had given them for the bridal shower.

Controversial Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti has disclosed that his late father, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, would have his P.A (personal assistant) go to London to bring him chocolates and ice cream.

In a devastating event, a five-year-old boy suffering from terminal cancer tragically lost his life after his family forcefully submerged him in a river, in a misguided attempt to find a cure.

According to authorities, the child, diagnosed with leukemia, met his untimely end when his parents and a female relative, presumed to be his aunt, engaged in a superstitious ritual near the River Ganges in northern India.

Seeking divine intervention, the family traveled from their home in Delhi to the river on Tuesday, January 23.

The desperate act came after doctors in the capital had exhausted all efforts to save the child’s life, leaving the family grasping for a miracle.

Disturbingly, concerned onlookers at the river pleaded with the family to halt their actions as they continued to submerge the boy.

The sacredness of the water holds deep significance for Hindus.

When bystanders intervened, the child’s aunt reacted aggressively, attempting to attack those who had pulled the boy out of the water.

A medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing diseases of the urinary system has taken to the microblogging platform X to educate Nigerians on the issue of childbearing.

The doctor started by disclosing that men can be responsible for infertility in marriage but women are mostly blamed for it.

He stated that some men are unaware that they shoot blank shots, then advised them to get tested before getting married.

He wrote;

“I remembered something now. you know how we watch on Nollywood that when a couple is looking for the fruit of the womb, it’s usually the lady’s fault.
I’m here to inform you that there are a lot of guys out there shooting blanks. Gbogbo oligo-, a-, astheno-, terato-zoospermia.
Get tested guys and suffer not the poor woman in the hands of your family members.”

However many internet users appear to agree with the doctor, as they each trooped to the comment section to share their opinion.

A Nigerian lady has come online to show off the luxury gifts her boyfriend who just returned from the UK bought for her and her siblings.

The lady posted a POV video that states her man’s love language is gifting. She announced her man was in town and he had just returned from the UK. She also mentioned he got a few items for her siblings.

Her boyfriend got her immediate elder brother an iPhone 12 Pro, an iPhone X for her younger brother, and a kids tablet for her kid sister. In the video, he also got her an iPhone 15 Promax, some designer bags in different sizes and colors, sneakers, and heels.

The video of the luxury gifts has got netizens talking online, about her kind of man and questions about how she met her man. Some netizens advised the lady not to end the relationship because of her siblings while others criticized her for showing sharing the video online.

Lagos Pastor, Feyi Daniels sentenced to life imprisonment for rap!ng a church member (video)

The Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja has sentenced clergyman Bishop Oluwafeyiropo Daniels to life imprisonment for raping a member of his church, “I Reign Christian Ministry,” in June 2020.

In delivering the judgment today, January 26, presiding judge Justice Rahman Oshodi stated his belief in the testimony of the complainant and other witnesses who provided uncontradicted evidence during the trial, despite the defendant’s denials.

The court also found that the prosecution successfully proved all elements of rape under section 260(2) of the criminal laws of Lagos State, 2015.

However, Justice Oshodi acquitted the clergyman of the second count of allegedly raping another church member in his house in 2020.

The court ruled that the prosecution did not sufficiently prove the use of force, fear of harm by the complainant, and misrepresentation by the defendant to establish guilt in the rape offense beyond a reasonable doubt.

Speaking further, the judge mandated the convict’s name to be registered in the Lagos State sex offenders register.

In addition, he ordered the clergyman to serve his prison sentence at the Nigeria Correctional Center, specifically the Kirikiri Maximum Facility where he is currently held.

According to the judge, Pastor Feyi used his influence and position to sexually violate the victim.

“Rape carries a mandatory life imprisonment and sexual assault carries a jail term of three years, which can’t alleviate the harm on your victims,” he said.

The video revealed passengers arguing over the designated compartment for their hand luggage in the aircraft. Two women engaged in a long and heated argument over luggage space in the overhead bin. They were recorded exchanging words and pointing fingers at each other. Other passengers tried to intervene but it proved futile.

The viral clip has raised questions from netizens, who inquired about the whereabouts of the security, cabin crew and aircraft staff.

An on-air personality who identifies as @RNB – Sugar Zaddy has alerted Nigerians via the microblogging platform X to be careful while moving about in their cars.

Sharing a video of an incident that happened to him while driving on the highway, he revealed that he was stopped by some men who claimed to be police officers.

He added that the unidentified men had been driving behind for a while before overtaking him and ordering him out of his car.

He refused to heed their instructions and asked to see their identification card which they failed to produce and hurried away immediately.

He wrote;

“I noticed a white bus with no plate number following my car from law school all the way down to 1004 Estate before the bus overtook my car just in front of the traffic light at the entrance of oriental hotel. B4 I could observe what was happening 3 Men dress in mufti came down 4rm the bus telling to come down 4rm my car & enter the bus that he want to drive my car for me, all this was happening in the middle of the road while the traffic light was on green and cars were moving pass me After back & forth I told them I can’t come down from my car but they should allow me leave the center of the road. So they agreed and that’s when I started the video recording. My shock till now is that they didn’t have any form of identification only said they are Undercover police officer from Zone 2 police station in VI. So I couldn’t even tell if they were real or not. Please are these your men and how come no means of identification Please stay safe out there.”

Rukayat Indimi-Dantata, the daughter of Borno billionaire Mohammed Indimi, has described people who make unsolicited comments about people’s weight as “witches.”

The mother of three stated that only “witches” tell people they’ve gained or lose weight while exchanging pleasantries with them.

Rukayat, who appeared to be speaking from her experience, took to her Instastory on Wednesday, January 25, to express her disapproval of such behaviour..

She wrote,

Alexandra Le Tissier, married to Mitch for over ten years, disclosed that they decided to spice up their marriage after it grew “a bit stale.”

Sharing on the microblogging platform, X, Daniel Regha stated the Twe Twe song by Kizz Daniel was already a terrible song and doing a remix with Davido’s verse is worse. He criticized the Afrobeats singer’s choice of words in his lyrics.
