A Nollywood costume designer, identified as C Prince, has been arrested for sexually defiling a 10-year-old girl on a movie set in Asaba, Delta state capital.

The horrific incident took place on Sunday, January 28, at the hotel where he and his fellow crew members camped for a movie shoot.

He reportedly took the minor into a hotel room to change her outfit for the next scene. However, he took longer than usual, prompting the movie producer to send someone to check on them.

Regrettably, the girl was found crying profusely with bloodstains all over the floor. Apparently, C Prince had forced himself on her after asking her to strip for a costume change.

In a video making rounds online, C Prince can be seen being interrogated and stripped naked by furious eyewitnesses. The hotel room was also covered in the victim’s blood.

It was gathered that the rapist was thereafter handed over to men of the Delta State Police command for prosecution.

In other news, the Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja has sentenced clergyman Bishop Oluwafeyiropo Daniels to life imprisonment for raping a member of his church, “I Reign Christian Ministry,” in June 2020.

In delivering the judgment today, January 26, presiding judge Justice Rahman Oshodi stated his belief in the testimony of the complainant and other witnesses who provided uncontradicted evidence during the trial, despite the defendant’s denials.

A Nigerian businesswoman has received backlash from internet users after an old contradictory tweet of hers surfaced online a few minutes after she tweeted about her standards for dating.

The lady who identifies as @preetyani had earlier shared on the microblogging platform X, that men who want her should always apply pressure.

She wrote; “You’re asking me out and not putting pressure. Lol, You’re not ready.”

The majority of the tweeps who came across her tweet were triggered by her statement and they quoted it with an old tweet of hers from 2020.

In the old tweet, she had talked down on men who wouldn’t take no for an answer when a lady rejects them.

She wrote, “Some men sha, they can’t just take No for an answer and leave you alone. Not everyone is meant to like you or be with you.”

After coming across both tweets, many concluded that the lady is confused and doesn’t know what she wants.

The rapper sharing in a video on his Snapchat story, stated a man should amass wealth and engage a woman. It is wrong for a man to chase a woman before making money; he questioned how a man will maintain a woman when he has no money.

Nigerian social media influencer, Uncle Pamilerin has taken to social media to share his observation about a baby’s upkeep and parenting.

Taking to his X platform, he shared how having a newborn baby can be exhausting. He mentioned in his tweet that caring for a newborn child can be a tiresome task and also putting the child’s care in trusted hands when the parents are unavailable.

Sharing his observation, the social media influencer narrates how his neighbour had left for work and the nursing mother had also resumed work after her maternity leave.

The couple trusted their nanny to care for their 6 month old baby. He stated the baby had been crying for over an hour and it can be concluded there was no one present to care for the baby.

Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Babatunde Bernard Tayo better known as Baba Tee has revealed that well-known stand-up comedian Seyi Law stole his joke without asking for permission.

He said that he and Seyi had formerly been the closest of friends, but their friendship ended when he learned about the comedian’s questionable behaviour.

Baba Tee discussed the betrayal and other private issues on The Honest Bunch podcast, co-hosted by OAP Nedu Wazobia.

The actor related how Omo Jesu, a common acquaintance, phoned him to let him know that Seyi Law was cracking jokes at a comedy concert hosted by Ayo Makun.

He insisted that he couldn’t believe it till it actually happened in front of him when he learned that Seyi Law had used one of his jokes for the show’s open mic segment.

Media personality, Solomon Buchi has slammed popular actor turned pastor, Yul Edochie, as he launches his ministry.

Recall that Yul had his first sermon on Sunday, January 28, on YouTube, following the unveiling of his virtual church, The Salvation Ministry, or TSM, last week.

Solomon reacted by saying that the actor is parodying Christianity, particularly with his acts that go against his teachings.

He mentioned that Edochie had an affair with Judy Austin, his colleague, and that, as a consequence, the two of them had a child together.

The influencer added in a long Twitter (X) post that it’s hard to know if Yul is serious about his ministry or if he’s simply being sarcastic. He also voiced worries about the movie star’s mental state and recommended that the actor be admitted for treatment.

“Yul Edochie is making a caricature of the Christian faith. From cheating on his wife, getting another woman pregnant and being caught, to claiming polygamy is normal and okay, and now to open a ‘ministry’ claiming God called him. JAMB Registration Center Employee Arrested For Stealing And Inappropriately Messaging 15-Year-Old Candidate

A shocking incident unfolded at a JAMB registration center in Nigeria, as an employee allegedly stole a registered phone number belonging to a 15-year-old candidate and engaged in inappropriate messaging.

The man’s actions came to light when the girl’s mother took to social media to expose the disturbing incident.

According to her post, the mother had used her own phone number to register her daughter for the JAMB examination.

However, an employee at the center accessed the girl’s entry on the computer and illicitly obtained the registered number.

The man began conversing with the girl, assuming he was chatting with her directly, ignorant of the mix-up.

Despite being reminded of the girl’s age, that she was just 15 years old, the suspect continued the conversation and even urged her to keep it a secret from her mother.

The concerned mother swiftly took to social media to call out the JAMB examination body for the disturbing breach of privacy and inappropriate conduct.

In a recent update, the Nigerian mother shared that the JAMB staff member involved, along with an accomplice, has been apprehended by the authorities.

Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Babatunde Bernard Tayo better known as Baba Tee claimed during an interview that cheating is man’s next of kin.

Sharing his perspective and experience about relationships and marital affairs, the comedian in an interview with The Honest Bunch Podcast in the Fake News and the Truth episode stated cheating is in the nature of men. Men cheat even when they have a woman.

He also added a man will always cheat till thy kingdom, stating;

A Nigerian student who was displeased by his coursemate’s action during an exam, as fumed at them via a voice message he sent to the general class group.

He was provoked by their actions and forced to address them after he received his result for the supposed exam and discovered that he failed.

Irritated by their lack of cooperation, he mentioned to them via the voice note that they were wicked people.

According to him, they have been together in the same class for four years and it would only be appropriate if they assist one another during exams.

He said;

“If you no fit open book show person no meet me outside world because I will fuck you up you can’t be this wicked with your coursemate and expect him to help you in the outside world. Let me tell you something anybody that doesn’t help you in school that person doesn’t wish well for you, you cannot be with somebody for four years and the person won’t help you. The nursing mother, who was tragically killed by kidnappers in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, had recently given birth to her first child after waiting for ten years.

It was earlier reported that Christiana Igba and her mother, Maria Agbo, were brutally murdered in Abuja last week.

Christiana’s mother had traveled from Benue State to Abuja to celebrate the birth of her grandchild when the unfortunate incident occurred.

They were kidnapped along with the one-month-old baby from their residence near the Mopol Barracks in the Dei-Dei area of FCT.

The kidnappers demanded a ransom of N90 million from the family for their release. After negotiations, they settled for N10 million.

Simon was instructed to have the money ready by 10 am on Thursday, January 25, 2024. However, before the agreed time, the kidnappers informed him that his baby was ill and had been handed over to a victim released that day.

The kidnappers also gave Simon’s phone number to the released victim and instructed her to contact him upon reaching the hospital with the baby.

Simon retrieved his baby from the hospital shortly after being notified.

Unfortunately, a few hours later, the family received news of Christiana and her mother’s demise. Their bodies were later recovered by police officers and deposited at the Kubwa General Hospital.
