Yesterday, during a football match between The Shooting Stars and Akwa Starlet (Lower Division), an ugly incident happened, after one of the coach was punched by a furious player.
According to reports, the Shooting Stars coach, ‘Agoye Edith Olumide’ was allegedly hit on the head by an Akwa Starlets goalkeeper “Franklin Akwari”, after a disappointing 0-0 result in Uyo.
The coach was reportedly left unconscious for some minutes before he was revived by a team of paramedics. Sources also say some of the players, officials and angry fans dealt with the referees after the match.
Days back, Tonto Dikeh and Tiwa Savage met with veteran music maestro, Sir Shina Peters, and Tiwa Savage was pictured kneeling for the singer at the event.
The photos quickly went viral on the media, and it immediately generated mixed reactions.
While speaking with SUNDAY SCOOP, Shina peters said Tiwa Savage did the right thing by kneeling, and he appreciated her gesture towards him.
He said:
“This is what I always preach. Tiwa Savage showed that she is very humble and respectful and that is how it is supposed to be. When I meet people who are older than me, I also bow before them. I wasn’t surprised she did what she did.

According to the veteran musician, he also met Tonto Dikeh, Teni and BBNaija’s Cee-C, saying they all knelt down to greet him.
He added:
“I am enjoying now because of what I have done in the past and I will continue to pray for all them for showing me respect. When some of these younger ones make money, they lack respect.
“I don’t demand anyone to kneel down for me, but if you feel I deserve it, I am okay with it. I do that to people too and it is part of our culture. If you look at the photo well, you will see that I quickly lifted her up. I was also not comfortable with keeping her on the ground for too long.”

Cynthia Mvhuma (36) lost her husband and came up with a plan to get him back.

A 17-year-old girl identified simply as Peace had to be rushed to the hospital after feeling weak following a hot sex romp with her lover in Sapele area of Delta state.
It was gathered that the teenage girl started feeling weak and faint after returning from work on Monday evening before she was taken to the hospital for checkup.
According to Sapele Oghenek, a Delta based journalist who shared the news in pidgin English, after the doctor ran some tests, it was discovered that excessive sex was the cause of the girl’s weakness before she was treated and discharged.

According to reports on Facebook, the guys, located in Sagamu area of Ogun state promised the girl the iPhone gift only if she takes drugs/weed with them, and exposed her chest for them.

Social Media Giant, Facebook has just disclosed that attackers took advantage of a security issue to attack its systems, and almost 50 million accounts are affected.
The flaw, discovered on Tuesday, allowed attackers to take over Facebook users’ accounts. The company’s stock dropped 3% on the news.
“Our investigation is still in its early stages. But it’s clear that attackers exploited a vulnerability in Facebook’s code that impacted ‘View As’, a feature that lets people see what their own profile looks like to someone else. This allowed them to steal Facebook access tokens which they could then use to take over people’s accounts,” Facebook’s VP of Product Management Guy Rosen wrote in a blog post announcing the news.
“Access tokens are the equivalent of digital keys that keep people logged in to Facebook so they don’t need to re-enter their password every time they use the app.”
Facebook says it’s not yet clear who is behind the attack.
It was disclosed in a blog post published on Friday. The company is holding a press call on Friday morning with the media; Business Insider will attend and update this story with more information as it becomes available.
President Buhari today blasted some elites who he said were silent and allowed the mismanagement of Nigeria.
He said this during a meeting with the Nigerian community in the United States of America on the margins of the 73rd United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The President who hailed ‘ordinary Nigerians’ who stood by him blamed the elite that allowed Nigeria to be mismanaged for 16 years of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration without as much as raising a voice in consternation.
“They didn’t say a word.
“Under the PTF (Petroleum Trust Fund, of which he was Chairman), we did roads from Lagos to Abuja, to Onitsha, to Port Harcourt. Since then, the roads were not done, between 1999 and 2015, yet the elite did not say a word,” Buhari noted in a statement signed on Friday by his special adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
The President also took a swipe at those who referred to him as ‘Baba Go Slow.’
He further blamed elites who he said had remained silent since 1983 when corrupt politicians that were jailed by his administration were later set free after he was put in detention.
“I was called Baba Go Slow. Those who were going fast, where did they get to?
“In 1983, military officers gathered and made me Head of State. I packed the politicians into jail, told them they were guilty until they could prove their innocence.
“We seized what they had looted, but after I myself was put in detention, the politicians were given back what they had looted. How many elites complained about that?
“Three times I contested elections; three times I went to court after the elections were rigged against me. No justice, but I said ‘God dey.’
A renowned French entrepreneur, Gontran Diamo, with Instagram handle, @Godiamo has committed suicide by jumping off the 10th floor of an apartment building near Brick City Centre, Miami, Florida.
This comes after Diamo posted a suicide note in French on his Instagram page.
The deceased who was loved for his rags-to-riches story, was at the 73rd UN General Assembly, a day before. He did not give a reason for his action.

Nigerian singer, Timaya has said that only Innocent ‘2baba’ Idibia qualifies to call himself a legend among the active artistes in the music industry.
Timaya during a recent radio interview with SoundCity FM said:
“In this part of the world, many artistes when they get to 10 years, they start shouting ‘I’m a legend’, ‘legendary’. To me, in this industry, the only person that can call himself a legend is 2face. The others shouldn’t. Even if people call me a legend, I don’t like to be seen like that.”
