A Nigerian man has raised an alarm about his uncle who was kidnapped five months ago but is still being held captive by his abductors despite the payment of ransom.

The man, identified as Ubawuike, took to the microblogging platform, Twitter (now X), to reveal that his uncle was abducted in Umudagu Mbieri in Imo state, leaving behind his pregnant wife and two daughters.

He mentioned that the kidnappers demanded the sum of N12 million for his release, and the family pooled funds together to pay the ransom.

Sadly, despite paying the demanded amount in full, the kidnappers have refused to release his uncle. He mentioned that it has been three months since they paid the ransom, and they have not heard from the kidnappers. He added that they don’t even know if his uncle is still alive or dead.

According to him, his uncle’s wife recently gave birth to a baby boy, but the family couldn’t even rejoice over his birth due to the situation at hand.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Oluwatoyin Albert a.k.a Tomama has come online to share why she does not like attending house parties in Lagos. She describes Lagos house party as one that is fond of indecent and inappropriate act.

The comedian took to her Instagram page to share her experience about Lagos house parties. Sharing via a video post, she stated that Lagos house parties is only about the Truth or Dare game. The game, is either about asking questions or to challenge someone to do a specific task.

According to her, some dares are indecent enough to be a problem, if you don’t do the dare and consider drinking, eventually one might get drunk and accept the dare.

Controversial Nollywood actress, Olaide Oyedeji, has revealed her health problems and the fact that she had five caesarean sections during childbirth.

In an interview with her colleague in the film business, Biola Adebayo, Olaide Oyedeji said that although some had criticized her for Sudan’s death, she had not been affected.

However, the actress said that she felt heartbroken when well-known blogger Gistlover asserted that Sudan’s death was caused by both her and her baby daddy’s excessive drug usage.

She said;

“My first daughter, Sudan, did not enjoy life. She gave me documents, she made my life in Germany easy, and she was an angel to me. They knew everything I went through with the girl. Popular media critic, Daniel Regha shocked many Nigerians online after he revealed that his toothbrush lasted about a year, despite being cheap.

Daniel who gained fame for his controversial tweet on the microblogging platform X, revealed that toothbrushes last depending on the person’s brushing technique.

Adding that he barely buys a new brush unless it’s damaged or an emergency because he usually sanitizes them every month.

Sharing two tweets with a picture of four of his brushes, he wrote;

“My toothbrushes lasts about a year despite being cheap, I hardly get a new one unless it’s damaged or an emergency; And that’s cos I switch & maintain ’em. Every month I sanitize my brushes by soaking ’em in hot salt water solution twice, for 2 mins. I recommend….”

“How long ur toothbrush lasts, depends on ur brushing technique. There are people who can use a toothbrush for months, but some persons can’t use theirs for up to a month, cos they brush like they’re scrubbing jeans. Same goes with bathing sponge & towels, it’s as simple as ABC.”

A US-based Nigerian man, identified simply as Ochuko, has expressed the opinion that earning $100,000 isn’t enough to start a family if one partner stays at home.

Ochuko shared this perspective in a post on Twitter (now X) while disclosing that the total amount he spent on daycare for his two children in 2023 is $44,000.

Based on his experience, Ochuko argued that it would take two solid income streams to maintain a household in the present economic clime.

He also encouraged single people to increase their income flow and marry a financially stable partner because they would need it.

This is why when some idiots on Twitter talk about not wanting to pay bills, married people with kids just laugh and keep scrolling.. you need a solid two income household

I post about the high cost of daycare about 2-3 times a year and the reaction is always the same. Search my tweets you’ll see lol.

The kids were off the week between Xmas and new year and guess what?? We still had to pay.. that was about $900 for both for NOT ATTENDING.. let me make myself a drink.

Let me just add this for the single people or anyone planning on having kids… get your money up! Find a partner that makes good money! You’re making $100k now as a single person? Cool. That $100k won’t be enough for u to take care of a family of 1-2 kids if your spouse is a SAH

Some have suggested having one of the parents stay home. Let’s dive in deeper. Unless one parent makes about the same or less than what daycare costs, it isn’t a good idea. That person will be out of the workforce for years and may have a hard time getting back in

Others, especially my fellow Africans, have suggested bringing someone from back home to watch the kids. Not a bad idea but it has its down sides. If you and that family member (or stranger) clash, it could make for an uncomfortable situation for everyone involved.”

Eniola Badmus who was formerly known as a plus-size lady had documented on her social platforms, how she was able to get rid of the excess weight.

A few years ago the actress had a gastric bypass surgery (a surgical procedure that can help people with obesity to lose weight and improve their health) in Turkey.

Mr. Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, has revealed what he would tell his son if he gets the opportunity to see him again.

In a recent interview on Max FM, Mr. Joseph, a clergyman and singer, shared that he would caution his son to be careful about the woman he chooses to marry.

When the interviewer probed further, the father, who has never hidden his dislike for his late son’s wife, Wunmi, claimed that she and her family did a lot of damage to Mohbad.

He asserted that they didn’t genuinely care about his son and were only after what they could gain from him.

Speaking on his son’s wedding to Wunmi, Mr. Joseph hinted that he was not fully in support of it, as they only went to visit Wunmi’s parents for the introduction ceremony, unaware that it would turn into a wedding.

He also disclosed that Mohbad paid his wife’s dowry without the family’s input or approval. He emphasized that he didn’t expect the wedding, and Wunmi’s addition to their family came as a surprise to him.

Recall that Mohbad passed away on Tuesday, September 12th 2023, under strange circumstances. He is survived by his wife and their son.

Big Brother Naija’s ‘level up’ winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, better known as Phyna, has claimed that when a man offers her a certain amount of money, she starts to doubt his motives.

She said that she would be apprehensive and could even call a man a ritualist if he offered her $500,000 as a gift with no conditions attached.

The reality TV star revealed this on an edition of the ‘Spill With Phyna’ podcast while speaking with a colleague, Uriel who observed that she would gladly accept such an enticing offer.

Uriel envisioned a scene when a man invites her to go to Dubai with him for dinner, but she says no until he gives her $500 and she agrees.

Phyna, however, was certain that she would consider if the person intended to exploit her for rituals rather than accepting the offer right away.

She said;

Controversial Nollywood actress, Olaide Oyedeji, has revealed that she has wanted to transform her body since she was 15 years old.

She opened up about the motivation behind her multiple body augmentation procedures in a recent interview with her colleague, Abiola Adebola.

According to the mother of four, she was brutally bullied as a child for not looking beautiful enough and having scattered teeth.

She said the bullying got worse on social media when she became a celebrity, as people kept criticizing her body, especially after childbirth when her stomach got bigger.

Due to the severe bullying and her own insecurities, she earnestly desired to enhance her body but chose to wait until after giving birth to all her kids.

She mentioned that she did her first procedure in Turkey and the second one in Nigeria in 2023. She further revealed that she has undergone a Brazilian Butt Lift, breast lift, and liposuction.

The movie star, however, noted that it’s all a part of the showbiz world as she needed to work on her body to be more valuable in her field.

Recall that James took netizens by surprise two years ago after sharing a video of himself giving a class presentation in a UK school. In the caption, he mentioned that he decided to gift himself a university education for his birthday.

However, he later returned to Nigeria to continue his life as an influencer, leaving many curious about his educational status.

Recently, a Twitter user revisited the issue, accusing James Brown of deceiving Nigerians about studying in the UK.

In response, James Brown posted a video online where he refuted the allegations. He confidently debunked the claims and presented his ID card as evidence of being a registered student at the University of Bedfordshire, UK, studying Business and Brand Management, Advertising, and Marketing.

James explained that he dropped out due to the high tuition cost, which amounted to about N25 million. He felt the amount was excessive and preferred to invest it in landed properties in Nigeria.

He, however, expressed his desire to return to school and sought financial assistance from well-meaning Nigerians, comparing it to the support received by a certain person who underwent butt enlargement surgery.
