The first day he walked into the lecture room, he asked us to pick a course rep and my colleagues voted for me.
He told me that there are some things he wants the course rep o do for him, which includes refreshment after every lecture compulsorily and i spend N500 every week without the knowlege of my coursemates because he warned me not to disclose that information to anyone and added that he has spies amongst my coursemates so he would find out if i go against his instruction
He later said that every month, i must subscribe for his monthly data on his two lines (MTN and Airtel). I was later invited to his house and his reason for that is that if i don’t come to his house then i am not close to him lie how a course rep should and my attitude towards him would determine if my colleagues would pass or fail and any student who failed his course in time past failed because their course reps did not cooperate with him

A Senior Lecturer of the Department of Catering and Hotel Management Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Andrew Ogbuja, has been arraigned at the upper Area Court One in Makurdi, Benue, for Criminal Conspiracy and Rape of a 13 year old housemaid, Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbaje.
The court, on, Monday, remanded the 51-year-old in prison custody. The accused lecturer was alleged to have had carnal knowledge of Elizabeth while she lived in his house.
Prosecution had told the court that on August 8, 2018, at about 12:00 noon, the body of women lawyers (FIDA) in Benue State had in company of one Mrs Rose Abah of Ogene Amadu Edumoga reported the matter to the police.

The First Information Report (FIR), indicated that the complainant, Mrs Abah told the police that sometimes in February 2018, when her daughter, Elizabeth, was sick and admitted at FMC Makurdi, she told her that, when she was staying with her cousin sister, Felicia Ogbuja, between 2013 and 2015, the son of the same cousin sister by name Victor Ogbuja, had canal knowledge of her.
The court further heard that the husband to the cousin sister, Andrew Ogbuja, also had canal knowledge of the teenager and that during police investigation, the said accused, Andrew was arrested for committing the offence while his son, Victor, is at large.
But, the accused who was arrested last Friday, pleaded with the judge to temper justice with mercy and grant him bail to enable him go back home and resolve the matter amicably considering his status.
The accused who spoke through his counsel, David Ojile, equally promised to take full responsibility for the treatment of the victim, hence it is a family affair but the judge, Justice S. D. Kwen rejected the plea
He sent the lecturer to Makurdi Federal Prison pending the determination of the matter. No pleas was however taken at mention of the case because the court lacked the jurisdiction to hear the matter. The case has been adjourned to September 24.
A Nigerian Lady identified as Mary Martins has just shared a scary robbery experience she had in Lagos last weekend when she and her friend rode on a bike from CMS to Mile 2.
According to her, mid way through the journey the bike man started acting funny and stopped the bike to see what was wrong with it only for two armed robbers to burst out of no where to steal their valuables.

Osun State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Emmanuel Attah has warned Youth Corp Members who will be deployed for the state’s governorship election on September 22 to desist from any form of electoral fraud.
According to reports from Punch, the NYSC Coordinator said any Youth Corp Member who violated the provisions of the Electoral Act would be arrested and prosecuted, irrespective of their family background or influence they may have.
He gave the warning on Monday after the closing ceremony of the orientation course for the Batch ‘B’ 2018 Corp members at the Orientation Camp in Ede, Osun State.
He said the NYSC had been participating in conducting elections for some time and the participation of corps members in the electoral process had given it credibility.
“Let me remind you that in a couple of weeks, the State of Osun governorship election will take place, precisely on September 22, 2018. You are going to play a major role in shaping the next administration of this great state through your active participation in the electoral process.
“You must be aware that over the years, the NYSC has given great credibility to elections in Nigeria; we intend to maintain it as such. The NYSC is apolitical; we do not belong to any political party. You are to be neutral in your work, words and actions.
“Avoid corrupt politicians who might want to induce you. Let me sound a note of warning, any of you who might be called to participate in the electoral process and goes against the Electoral Act, will face the full wrath of the law. You have your name, that of your family and the NYSC scheme to protect.”
The Osun State Governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, while addressing the corps members, said:
“You have been rightly informed during the swearing – ceremony of your role in the forthcoming election in the state. You all will play one role or the other during the election and I urge you to let your role be positive.
“Ensure that all votes are well counted at the polling units and don’t let any political party put their will on you. Do ensure you abide by the advice which came to you through seasoned officers of the scheme.”
A bricklayer identified as Sunday Ajayi has been jailed for six months by an Ibadan Magistrates’ Court sitting in Iwo Road for breaking into the Oyo State Government House in the Agodi area of Ibadan.
He was also reported to have stolen property worth N535,000 from members of the police bomb squad stationed on the premises.
Police prosecutor, Sunday Ogunremi, told the court that the convict scaled the fence and went to the policemen’s apartment where he stole the valuables on July 31, 2018.
The charge read in part:
“That you, Sunday Ajayi, on July 29, 2017, around 12.30pm at the government house, GRA Ibadan, in the Ibadan Magisterial District, did steal one wristwatch, four shirts, two trousers and EOD binoculars, property of Anti-Bomb Section of the Nigeria Police Force, valued at N535,000, thereby committing an offence contrary to and punishable under sections 411 and 390 (9) of the Criminal Code, Cap 38, Vol.II, Law of Oyo State of Nigeria, 2000.”

A woman died on Thursday, the day she was celebrating her 42nd birthday after being brutally beaten by her boyfriend.
The South African woman identified as Manotsi Lemao passed away at her cousin’s place after the brutalisation.
The deceased’s cousin, Mateboho Selokoma, from Phase 6 kasi in Mangaung, said she discovered the truth after her husband (Mr. Selokoma) went to collect some money from Manotsi.
“He found the boyfriend. He told him that he and Manotsi had a fight earlier and she was sleeping,” said Mateboho.
“I then went to check on her and I found her brutally beaten. “She had a blue eye and her body was swollen. She could not walk on her own. She said her boyfriend had beaten her up. “I took her to the doctor. X-rays revealed that she had a broken leg.”
Mateboho asked her to spend a few days with her and her family – but she died on Thursday after eating her birthday cake.
“Before she died, she complained that her foot was itchy,” said Mateboho.
“She said her heart was beating too slow, and she fell on my son’s bed and died. Had this man not beaten her, she would still be alive.“I wish the law would take its course.”
Police spokeswoman Sergeant Ikobeng Hlubi confirmed the incident.
“A inquest case has been registered. “According to records, Manotsi was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend and later discharged from hospital. “She died at her cousin’s home and the police are waiting for the post mortem results to determine the cause of death.
“Depending on the results, the charge may possibly be changed to murder.”

Pollution becomes so seriously it will start to kill people, which in turn will cause the population to diminish, lower than it was in 1900. ‘At this stage, around 2040 to 2050, civilised life as we know it on this planet will cease to exist.’
The model is already proving accurate because it forecast a slowdown in the growth of living standards. A programmer called Jay Forrester built the programme in the early seventies and it was tested using Australia’s most powerful computer.
