The Police in Lagos have apprehended a houseboy, identified as Mayowa Ogunmola, who sold his employer’s N10m Toyota Prado Land Cruiser for N50,000.
FSARS Operatives had launched a search for the suspect after his employer, Femi Mayaki, a resident of Wiliam Care Street, Anthony Village, Lagos, on July 18, petitioned the Commissioner of Police Lagos State that Ogunmola made away with his Toyota Prado Land Cruiser Jeep containing personal documents.
The suspect was eventually arrested at Ikorodu, Lagos – during interrogation, he confessed to the crime.
He later took detectives to Ijeba-Ota, Ogun State where he claimed he gave the stolen car to one Femi Ayoade whom he asked to get a buyer for it.
Femi, according to the police, was subsequently arrested and he confessed he sold the car to one Azeez Ibrahim, at the rate of N50,000 and led the Operatives to arrest Azeez Ibrahim and the stolen car was eventually recovered from him.
All three suspects in the case are now in Police custody.

Recently, Anto Lecky penned down a warning to a follower who is fond of telling her to work out more after she posts a new photo.
Anto who apparently gets body shamed a lot, was not having it anymore as she promptly replied the online troll.
Commenting on her post, the follower urged her to work on her tummy which she pointed out was not in good shape and then advised her to work out more to take care of it.
Anto then replied the young man with a sound warning telling him she would block him if he comments on her body again. (Read More here ICYMI)
It’s been months since Nigerian superstar singer, Davido declared himself ‘officially out’ from the singles club as he introduced his Girlfriend (Chioma) to the world.
The buzz was massive, the vibe was positive and although it was a surreal moment for some Davido female fans who’d wished they were his ‘Chioma’, nothing could possibly stop OBO from shutting off all other advances from any other girl as he declared Chioma would be the lady he’d spend the rest of his life with.
Then came the celebrity status for ‘Chef Chioma’ which was accompanied with brand endorsements, instagram verification and getting her own cooking show, (we don’t even wanna talk about the shopping trips or gift right now lol).
While one would expect that the buzz over the beautiful couple had reduced, it seems such expectation is a very false one as a graphic designer decides to flex his creativity with the photo of Davido and Chioma which has now gone viral all over social media.
A Nigerian Man on Twitter, simply identified as @Akinbosola, slammed a muslim woman for sharing a photo she took with internet sensation and male barbie, Bobrisky at an event in Abuja yesterday.

Omotolani, you are a bad ambassador for islam. Islam does not tolerate homosexuality and as Holy as you package yourself to be, you are excited about meeting a dysfunctional homosexual man, shame
However, Akinbosola received backlash from a cross-section of Twitter users, he then apologised to Omotolani and her picture with Bobrisky and his tweet has since been deleted.

According to the single mother of one who was asked if single motherhood is now a norm in Nollywood, women are not at fault when it comes to being single parents.
She said:
“Single motherhood is not peculiar to Nollywood. If you go to the banking sector, there are single mothers there; in the military, in law firms and other fields, there are single mothers. It is not our fault; it’s just that men no longer want to play their role as husbands. I am not a supporter of single parenthood: every man or woman has the right to live their life the way they choose. It’s just by God’s grace that I am acting and producing. Emotional trauma is not what I will encourage anybody to pass through. God created every woman for a man. So marriage is good”.
The country’s Number one citizen has reacted to reports of National Assembly members defecting from APC. 15 Senators and 36 House of Representatives members, all from the ruling APC, defected to PDP and ADC, earlier today.
In a statement released by his senior special assistant on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, President Buhari expressed his total commitment to the values of democracy, freedom of choice as well as total willingness to work with all members of the National Assembly, irrespective of their political party, for the benefit of the nation.
President Buhari wished all the decamped members the best in their future undertakings.
I wish all of our party members who today defected, the very best in their future undertakings. The APC has done its best to stop the defections, and I must commend the party leadership for working tirelessly to unite the party and position it for future victory.
The President noted that none of the defecting federal lawmakers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had any specific grievances against him or the government he leads; neither did he harbour anything against any of them.
“As the saying goes, all politics is local. We understand that some of the distinguished and honourable lawmakers have issues with their home states, especially on zoning which bars some of them from seeking another term in their constituencies,” he said.
Noting that the APC had done its utmost to stop the defections, the President commended the leadership of the party for relentlessly working for its unity and ensuring success in the upcoming elections.
President Buhari assured members of the APC of his total support and urged party faithful not to despair but to see the defections as a seasonal occurrence that happens on election eve.
He expressed confidence that no harm or injury will be done to the party and its aspirations by the movements.

The Indian Government has begun a massive clampdown on the spread of fake new on social media, including Whatsapp in a bid to reduce the spread of fake news in the country.
This crackdown by the Indian police has already seen a 21 year old student who has already spent 5 months in jail for being the admin of a WhatsApp group in India for spreading what the police called “objectionable content”.
It can be recalled that fake whatsapp messages has led to the lynching of many people in India for suspicions of child kidnapping and other reasons.
Junaid Khan a student from the town of Talen in India’s central Madhya Pradesh state was arrested on February 14th following a complaint filed at the police station by some locals based on charges stem from a message that was forwarded in a WhatsApp group of which he was the Admin, leading to him (the group admin) being arrested.
Police allege the man was the administrator of the WhatsApp group but his family argued he was made a “default admin” of the group only after the the original administrators had fled the group. However, police say they took action based on the evidence they have seen. Police say Junaid was the WhatsApp group administrator when the case came to their notice.

A Nigerian stylist, Ojo Daniel has taken to his Instagram page to share his encounter at popular Lagos tech area, Computer Village – how he was almost hypnotized.
Ojo revealed that he just went to the village to get himself a new earpiece, when some people started hailing him from behind and then he felt physical contact and a man he says is probably in his late 40s confronted him.
He said the man tried to cast a spell on him but he was quick to get him void and leave his presence in haste. He wrote,
HOW I ALMOST GOT CHARMED (BRAIN-WASHED) IN COMPUTER VILLAGE ???
This was my TGIF mood yesterday not until after my unforgettable experience of an escaped brain washing on the street. If not for God and my small Street OT? it would have been a different story. Here’s what happened, after I was done with a Client’s Inspection of a Property at Ikeja (Yes, I’m a Real Estate Consultant?), so I decided to get a new earpiece at Computer village which I did, on my way out of the streets of C-villa, someone starting Shouting Chairman & whistling continuously from behind but I kept moving cuz my name no be chairman ?. The next thing I knew was I felt a tap on my shoulder from behind, as I turned i to see who it was, It was a man, obviously in his 40s with scars on his face, definitely a street tout and up to know good. Next thing he said in Yoruba ” Motin pe yin lati e kan nau” (I’ve been calling you for a while), then he confidently added “Alaye fun wa ni 2k ka fi saye weekend ” (Give me 2k for the weekend), I just smiled and replied “Alaye mi o ni 2k ti mole fun yin oo” (Bros I don’t have 2k to spare), as I turned front to take my leave, he grabbed my hands ?as I turned back in anger? the next thing I knew was he started chanting incantations ni sha ?? saying “nkan taba wi fun e ni ko se” (whatever I say you shall do), at this point, I realised he was trying to charm me, he then leaned over and tried to whisper in my ear, with fear and anger I just pushed him away.As I tried to leave, he threatened saying “to ba kuro ni be yen ” (if you dare leave that spot), I just turned back and shouted “Koni da fun baba e” and before he knew it I don JAPPA!!!???. On my way home I was just speaking in tongues and quoting scriptures, lmao infact you go fear cabashing ??? till I got home safely.
All my life, I have been skeptical when I hear about people (even close friends) getting charmed on the streets, I just confirmed it yesterday, guys thus shit is real, people are falling victims.
This to Lagos, Stay WOKE?!!! Have you even fallen a victim before?
Pls I would like to know

Veteran showbiz couple, Tunde and Wunmi Obe (T.W.O) just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary and 30 years of friendship.
The pair has now shared the exciting journey of their life and career and how they have managed to stay off controversies in their marital life and music career.
They revealed this in a new interview.
See excerpts from the interview below:
How have you been able to stay together as a couple for 20 years and also a musical duo for 30 years?
Tunde: When we first came together, it was more like a professional relationship; later we found out that we had a connection. I think the point of attraction then was that we both recently lost our fathers. And our fathers were like the main breadwinners in our families, and a lot of people could not understand this. When you are used to a certain lifestyle and then you lose a parent, things change. We both understood that and connected at that level, and then we realised that we had more common interest other than music; we started finding excuses to rehearse vocally on our own, which is professional. But half of the time, we were talking our own things and things progressed from there. Why I am giving you this background is to let you know that we didn’t purposely juggle anything. The friendship happened naturally and this was due to the talent we shared. If we have been together for thirty years, which means that I was 20 when we met, that means I have known her almost half of my life. So, for me being with her is beyond reason; there is a genuine friendship and I think that is what it is. Our marriage is based on friendship first before any infatuation or love. Love is important but friendship and the respect we have for each other is what has kept us together for these years.
How long did it take you to write the song, Without Your Love?
Wunmi: I can’t say because that is a remix, we just wanted to bring in the remix… and if you listen to it, it was my opportunity to rap (laughs). I have been doing that right from when I was a teenager, but when the Bados came to town, I had to step back. So, for old time sake, what we did was to modify the rap because the rap was there to begin with. So, we changed the music to meet up with what is trending today. It didn’t take too long.
If you were not singers, what would you have done?
Wunmi: I am a woman of many parts. If you asked me when I was about 10-years-old what I wanted to be, I would tell you ‘aircraft engineer’; that is aeronautic engineer. But when I got to secondary school, physics and mathematics came, I then realised this wasn’t a good idea. Then I wanted to be a lawyer, which probably was what I would have been. But today, I am a serial entrepreneur and artiste.
Tunde: For me, I would have ended up doing what my father did. I always loved the art of negotiation. I always loved the opportunity to defend and sell my country to the rest of the world. Or public relations because that is another strength that I have, I think I have natural abilities in that area. Communication is also another strong skill that I have; maybe I would probably be in that area. Wunmi is more of the serial entrepreneur and she has a new business every month.
Was there any incident that could have split T.W.O musically?
Tunde: I understand why you are asking me that question, it’s because a lot of groups have split up. Except somebody else can come up with a better group, I think T.W.O is the oldest group in Nigeria. I don’t think there is any other group that has stayed long together like we have stayed. For instance, people would say it is because we are married, that is why the group is still intact. But since twins can break up, I don’t think that’s an excuse. Anything musical that concerns two people, whether you are married, siblings or best friends, it is the coming together of totally different ideologies and ideas. The way we deal with it is that we respect each other’s talent and space. If we put together a beat and we have made up our minds on the direction to go, we’ll agree on the topic. Once we agree on that, it means don’t touch my side, I won’t touch your side. When we meet in the studio, you do your thing and I do my thing. It is a healthy rivalry and healthy competition. We are both striving for excellence, so we find out a lot of time that if I write something that she doesn’t agree with, she will tell me, and the same for me too because it is all the same product. Then we will start tweaking until we come out with something good. I think for me, the biggest frustration I have is that there are lots of songs that we write that we really want to put out; or we really want a commercial appeal for. We have so many songs and I am sure those who are following our career can testify to this.
What does it feel to be 50?
Tunde: It means a great deal. My father died at 46 and Wunmi’s father died at 49. So, I have outlived both our parents and for me it is a major thing. When there is life there is hope. I am glad I am here. For the thirty years of T.W.O, I want to assure you that Wunmi and I have never put separation or divorce on the table. It is not something we will ever discuss. Although, we have our differences, we have never invited a second party to settle anything between us. We sit down and talk until we find solutions to our problems. The love, respect and friendship that we share will always conquer any disagreement that comes up. Fifty years is a milestone and we are happy. Thirty years is a lot for a musical group and twenty years is a lot for a marriage too and we are wishing for many more years to come.
Is any of your children interested in entertainment?
Tunde: Our first child, Monisayo is the one that has the artistic tendencies, but we want her to finish her education. Luckily for us, she is in the university now and when she is done, we will be her manager (laughs).
How did your late brother, Wale, influence you; especially musically and how has his death affected you?
Wunmi: I would rather say that he probably laid the foundation for me, because when I was young, like six or seven years, he was crazy about music. He was always coming home with new records and would call me, his little sister, to come and listen to this and that music. Also, he would ask me how I felt about a particular music. He always wanted my opinion on a particular music and if I didn’t like it, I won’t say no because he was my elder brother. When I turned 12 or 13, he had this acoustic guitar he used to play, and he taught me how to play the bass guitar. Every chance he had he was always influencing me musically. When he was studying in the United States, we went to spend some time with him during the holidays in 1985. And because I came over there, he went out to buy musical equipment like drums, keyboard, and guitar. There were some guys that were rappers then, he brought us all together and we were always practicing. So, he really influenced me musically; he encouraged and gave me the opportunity to discover myself. On his passing, let me say I am still coming to terms with that. But the Lord is my strength. I am just praying that with time, this too will pass.
The Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) have commended Falz for addressing sexual molestation and violence in his latest music video.
This rapper cum actor released a video titled– “Child Of The World” during the weekend and DSVRT took to its official Twitter page to acknowledge Falz’s effort of speaking up about real life issues.
We would like to use this medium to appreciate Falz for spreading the word on Sexual Abuse in the recently released video for his song, Child of the World.
“We would like to use this medium to appreciate Falz for spreading the word on Sexual Abuse in the recently released video for his song, Child of the World.
“Together we will tackle this menace. Thank you for pointing Survivors in the direction of Help and Justice @falzthebahdguy”.
The idea of sexual abuse was well depicted by ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Bambam in the music video. She acted as the “Child of the world” who was sexually harassed by her uncle.
Actress Toyin Abraham acted as her mother. Also, societal pressure forced her to get involved in sexual acts with rich men to raise money to live a certain standard of life.
Some Nigerians also took to Twitter to praise the idea behind the music video, while others called on more artistes to do the same.
Three famous social media users in Abu Dhabi have received an arrest warrant for taking part in a viral dance challenge based on Drake’s hit song “In my feelings.”
As part of the “Kiki” dance challenge, people get out of a slowly moving car and leave the door open as they dance alongside it in sync with the music.
The public prosecutor’s office did not reveal the names of the three people ordered detained.
“Participants in this challenge get out of a moving car and leave the door open and dance on a public road next to the car, which is a danger to them and others on the road,” it said in a statement on Monday.
“This behaviour is contrary to the values of the Emirates’ society and constitutes a violation of public morals.”
According to the statement, the detainees will be investigated “on charges of endangering their lives and the lives of others, and violating public morals using social networking sites to promote practises that are incompatible with the values and traditions of society.”
Those caught taking part in the challenge could be punished with a fine or imprisonment, the prosecutor’s office said.
Wits University in South Africa is removing gender prefixes in communications with students to promote inclusivity for members of the LGBTQI community.
The proposal for the reformation began earlier this year, advocated for by the sexual orientation and gender identity advocacy at the institution.
“We’re removing all titles from individuals and student body and if you want to specify your title you can go on to our self-service website and pick a title that that works for you,” said Tish Lumos, programme coordinator: sexual orientation and gender identity advocacy at Wits, said on a radio show.
“We’ve tried to do away with a system that punishes and marginalises.
The university says while it cannot change legal documentation, the move will allow students to be referred to in a manner consistent with their own identities.
“Whilst we can’t change a name on legal documentation. In university communication, we are 100% in support of you specifying what title you want.
“Addressing somebody by a particular name or title are intrinsically affirming for people who are transgender or gender non-conforming or gender queer.
“It makes you part of the university culture if you feel you are visibly appreciated and respected.”
‘Mx’, the gender-neutral title, which is widely recognised in many countries across the world, is becoming increasingly popular.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, drove himself into the National Assembly complex in a rickety private vehicle.
According to reports from Daily Post, Saraki was not in the vehicle when a detachment of security operatives blocked his convoy at his Apo residence.
The security operatives had aimed at preventing them from leaving the house.
Saraki reported sensed a sinister move by the opposing camp, at the National and decided to outsmart them by quickly sneaking into the National Assembly with a vehicle he drove.
Saraki had also perfected his plans to announce his defection from the All Progressives Congress, APC, today and adjourn the plenary sine dine.
Confirming the development, Saraki’s aide, Yusuph Olaniyonu, told Daily Post that “The President of the Senate is now presiding over Senate Plenary.”
Nollywood Actress, Mercy Aigbe and mother of two, who is now a proud owner of a mansion in Magodo area in Lagos, has just posted photos of her eye popping living room and captioned it:
“Work in progress … we ain’t done yet but @decorbyaddeyholar already gat my interior popping ”.
Mercy who left her husband Lanre Gentry over allegations of domestic abuse last year, revealed she got the property a few months ago.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reacted to an invitation by the IG of police concerning the Offa bank robbery which led to the loss of lives and properties.
In the recent letter to Saraki, the Police chief said some of the robbery leaders alleged that Saraki gave them arms and money used to rob.
Saraki in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu, stated that he has it on good authority that the Police had already decided on the suspects to arraign in court in Ilorin, Kwara State on Wednesday based on the advice of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Mohammed U.E. and that the turn around to invite him was a ploy aimed at scoring cheap political points.
“I have been reliably informed that the Police invitation was planned by IG as a ploy to stop an alleged plan by some Senators and House of Representatives members from defecting from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“It was also said that if I was detained between Tuesday and Wednesday, that will abort the so-called defection plan.
“While I continue to maintain that the issue of my position on the 2019 elections is not a personal decision for me alone to make, it should be noted that all these concoctions and evil plot cannot deter me.
“Those behind this fresh assault will fail as I have nothing to do with the robbery incident or any criminal matter for that matter.
“I am aware that following a request made by the Police on June 13, 2018 to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) of the Fedeeation had written a legal advice dated June 22, 2018, in which he stated on page 5, paragraph (f) that For the Senate President and the Kwara State Governor, this office is unable to establish from the evidence in the interim report a nexus between the alleged office and the suspects”.
“The Police have obviously corrupted and politicized their investigations into the Offa robbery incident.
“They have turned it into an instrument for the party in power to suppress perceived opponents, witchhunt issue for blackmailing people from freely choosing which platform on which they want to pursue their ambition and a matter for harassing the people whose exit from APC would harm the chances of the party in the forthcoming elections.
“I want to make it apparent that I have no hand in either the robbery incident or any criminal activity.
“The Police in their haste to embarrass me sent the invitation to me at 8pm and requested that I report to the station by 8am tomorrow morning.
“This obviously demonstrated their desperation as I do not see why they are now in a hurry.
“They also stated in today’s letter that because in my response of June 7, 2018 to their own letter written on June 4, 2018, I stated that I was responding simply to the contents of the letter and that the full text of the statement made by the arrested suspects which they claimed indicted me was not made available to me, they were now including the suspects statements in the current letter.
“Yet, instead of including the suspects’ statements, they only attached two copies of my own letter to the invitation. No suspects statement was made available.
“This plot aimed at compelling me and my associates to stay in a party where members are criminalized without just cause, where injustice is perpetrated at the highest level and where there is no respect for constitutionalism is an exercise in futility and it will fail.
“Once again, my confidence in God and our judicial system remains intact and unshaken. The truth shall also prevail in this case”, he stated.

A female member of a notorious cult got arrested by the Police in Lagos and has made a startling revelation on how she killed members of rival cult groups and any other person for a fee of N10,000.
While speaking when she was paraded by the Police in Lagos on Monday, a 20-year-old self-confessed sniper of the dreaded Eiye confraternity, Mariam Abiola, revealed how she killed four rival gang members in the Ilasamaja area of the state.
The young girl who admitted dropping out of school in SS3, was arrested on Monay morning together with three male accomplices by a police team from the Ilasamaja division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Chief Superintendent Titilayo Oriyomi.
While making her confessions to police interrogators, she said it was easier for her to operate unnoticed wearing a hijab, adding that a member of her gang she described as an herbalist always prepared charms for her before she embarked on any major operation.
“He said I needed to blend into the system by being a member of the Eiye confraternity. I agreed. Thereafter, Sadiq taught me how to use a gun. By the time I went through training three times, I knew how to fire accurately.
“Anytime I was going to kill, Sadiq would give me the person’s picture and send the address to my phone. I usually wore a white male flowing gown and white hijab whenever we were going to kill any rival member.
“We always went in a group of four, including Wasiu and Segun. The gun was usually tucked inside my white flowing gown.
“On getting to the target’s house, which was usually at night, other members would jump through the fence and open the gate for me.
“I would enter and fire the person in the chest and forehead before leaving there.
“I have killed four persons. None of our targets survived. I killed one guy at Fadeyi area of Lagos. Another one at Hassan area, one at Ajeh area.
“At the end of each killing, Sadiq would pay me N10,000 and five others N20,000.
“I had struck at Fabiyi, Hassan and Aje streets and another street, all in Ilasamaja.
“Before we leave for any killing, we would visit the herbalist who would give us charms to put residents to sleep until the operation is concluded. I never felt bad killing anybody.”
Meanwhile, Sadiq also admitted being a member of the Eiye confraternity but denied knowing Abiola.
Speaking on the arrest, Lagos State commissioner of police, CP Imohimi Edgal said, “It is shocking to see a young lady of Abiola’s age talk of killings. Parents should do more by monitoring their children.
“It is worrisome that her confession are startling, chronicling the number of killings. Apart from being an assassin, she was also an armourer for her gang.”

A Pastor was allegedly caught having s*x with his church member, then he was stripped and disgraced and it was caught on video.
The Pastor was allegedly caught with the church member in a hotel in Benin, Edo state.
While being interrogated in the video shared online, the pastor denied having s*x with the woman and when he was asked to explain what he was doing naked in the hotel room, he couldn’t offer an explanation.
It is not exactly clear why the onlookers felt the need to shame the pastor because, from the look of things, the tryst was consensual.

The two players were eventually selected for CHAN 2018 although the investigation stated that there is no suggestion that the money given to Yusuf influenced the selection.
Although he told the reporters that team selection is based solely on performances, Yusuf, a top Nigerian coach will be facing the wrath of FIFA, CAF and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
