According to her, some friends will collect the buttered bread, then the person buttering the bread, the remaining bread, the butter, the producer of the bread, the bread machine and finally the bakery.

Osun State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Emmanuel Attah has warned Youth Corp Members who will be deployed for the state’s governorship election on September 22 to desist from any form of electoral fraud.
According to reports from Punch, the NYSC Coordinator said any Youth Corp Member who violated the provisions of the Electoral Act would be arrested and prosecuted, irrespective of their family background or influence they may have.
He gave the warning on Monday after the closing ceremony of the orientation course for the Batch ‘B’ 2018 Corp members at the Orientation Camp in Ede, Osun State.
He said the NYSC had been participating in conducting elections for some time and the participation of corps members in the electoral process had given it credibility.
“Let me remind you that in a couple of weeks, the State of Osun governorship election will take place, precisely on September 22, 2018. You are going to play a major role in shaping the next administration of this great state through your active participation in the electoral process.
“You must be aware that over the years, the NYSC has given great credibility to elections in Nigeria; we intend to maintain it as such. The NYSC is apolitical; we do not belong to any political party. You are to be neutral in your work, words and actions.
“Avoid corrupt politicians who might want to induce you. Let me sound a note of warning, any of you who might be called to participate in the electoral process and goes against the Electoral Act, will face the full wrath of the law. You have your name, that of your family and the NYSC scheme to protect.”
The Osun State Governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, while addressing the corps members, said:
“You have been rightly informed during the swearing – ceremony of your role in the forthcoming election in the state. You all will play one role or the other during the election and I urge you to let your role be positive.
“Ensure that all votes are well counted at the polling units and don’t let any political party put their will on you. Do ensure you abide by the advice which came to you through seasoned officers of the scheme.”
A bricklayer identified as Sunday Ajayi has been jailed for six months by an Ibadan Magistrates’ Court sitting in Iwo Road for breaking into the Oyo State Government House in the Agodi area of Ibadan.
He was also reported to have stolen property worth N535,000 from members of the police bomb squad stationed on the premises.
Police prosecutor, Sunday Ogunremi, told the court that the convict scaled the fence and went to the policemen’s apartment where he stole the valuables on July 31, 2018.
The charge read in part:
“That you, Sunday Ajayi, on July 29, 2017, around 12.30pm at the government house, GRA Ibadan, in the Ibadan Magisterial District, did steal one wristwatch, four shirts, two trousers and EOD binoculars, property of Anti-Bomb Section of the Nigeria Police Force, valued at N535,000, thereby committing an offence contrary to and punishable under sections 411 and 390 (9) of the Criminal Code, Cap 38, Vol.II, Law of Oyo State of Nigeria, 2000.”
The convict pleaded guilty to the charges and begged the court to temper justice with mercy. And pleading that he would never return to the disgraceful act.
The Chief Magistrate, Taiwo Olaniran, however, sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment without an option of fine.

A woman died on Thursday, the day she was celebrating her 42nd birthday after being brutally beaten by her boyfriend.
The South African woman identified as Manotsi Lemao passed away at her cousin’s place after the brutalisation.
The deceased’s cousin, Mateboho Selokoma, from Phase 6 kasi in Mangaung, said she discovered the truth after her husband (Mr. Selokoma) went to collect some money from Manotsi.
“He found the boyfriend. He told him that he and Manotsi had a fight earlier and she was sleeping,” said Mateboho.
“I then went to check on her and I found her brutally beaten. “She had a blue eye and her body was swollen. She could not walk on her own. She said her boyfriend had beaten her up. “I took her to the doctor. X-rays revealed that she had a broken leg.”
Mateboho asked her to spend a few days with her and her family – but she died on Thursday after eating her birthday cake.
“Before she died, she complained that her foot was itchy,” said Mateboho.
“She said her heart was beating too slow, and she fell on my son’s bed and died. Had this man not beaten her, she would still be alive.“I wish the law would take its course.”
Police spokeswoman Sergeant Ikobeng Hlubi confirmed the incident.
“A inquest case has been registered. “According to records, Manotsi was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend and later discharged from hospital. “She died at her cousin’s home and the police are waiting for the post mortem results to determine the cause of death.
“Depending on the results, the charge may possibly be changed to murder.”

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence, NSCDC has arrested a 17-year-old girl, Ramatu Tafida, who cut off her 25-year-old boyfriend’s penis in Babura Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
AC Adamu Shehu, the corps Spokesman in the state, who confirmed the incident to newsmen in Dutse on Saturday, identified the victim as Abdullahi Sabo, a resident of Kofar Gabas and a teacher at Government Girls Secondary School Babura engaged under N-Power.
“The incident occurred on Thursday in Babura when the attention of our officers was drawn by a good Samaritan who informed them that some youths were about to lynch a girl in Kofar Arewa, the residence of the suspect, to revenge for their friend,” said Shehu.
“Immediately the officers swung into action and went to the scene and whisked the girl away to the office for safety, but they still followed her.
“It was upon reaching the office that we realised what led to the whole matter.
“Ramlatu confessed to having used a knife to cut off the manhood of her husband-to-be. According to her, Abdullahi is the love of her life and he was even introduced to her family members and has equally given the sum of N30,000 as an introduction fee.
“And because of that, she was free to be with him almost all the time. As a result, they became too intimate that they engaged in a sexual affair. However, Miss Ramlatu later learnt that the victim has planned to dump her for another girl since he has already known her as a woman. And that was what made her to plan and execute her attack,” he said.
Sheu said that the suspect further confessed that it was while they were together and about to start their usual affair that she confronted the victim with the issue and he responded in the affirmative.
“And already, she had a knife with her without his knowledge which she brought out and chopped off his manhood. After committing the offence, she ran to her parent’s house to inform her mother. And it was while she was there that the youths stormed the house.
The spokesman said that after knowing the situation, the officers rushed to the scene and took the victim to Babura General Hospital for medical attention.
The victim was later referred to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in Kano.
Mr Shehu said that the suspect had already been charged to court and remanded in prison until September 6 for further hearing.
Nigeria’s First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari has been honoured with a Doctorate in Humanity by Sun Moon University, Asan, South Korea.
She was honoured for her humanitarian activities through her initiative, Future Assured Programme.
Mrs Aisha shared photos from the ceremony on her Instagram page on Monday morning and dedicated the award to all Nigerian women.
She wrote:
“I was honoured today with a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration (Honoris Causa) by Sun Moon University in Asan, South Korea.

Prnigeria reports that the award was disclosed by Professor Hong Young-Shik of the political science department of the university, who led a team to pay a courtesy visit on the wife of the president on Thursday, June 21, at the presidential villa.
“The humanitarian activities of Mrs. Buhari have caught the attention of the world and the Senate of the Sun Moon University, especially her outstanding work with women and children,” Professor Hong said.
