A 17-year-old girl has defended a married Teacher accused of having sex with her when she was a high school student.
The Teenager told a judge in Michigan during his arraignment that her former teacher, Tyler David Millward, never forced himself on her.
The girl sat with the disgraced teacher’s attorney during his arraignment Monday and told a judge that an order barring contact between her and the 29-year-old teacher wasn’t necessary.
She told Magistrate Joe Brutsche:
“He has never been a threat and he has never hurt me. He never told me to say anything or push me to do anything against my will. I wish to have contact.”
Police arrested Millward late Friday at the girl’s apartment in East Leroy for allegedly having a sexual relationship with the teen from July 2017 through January, beginning when she was 16 years old.
Tyler David Millward, who lost his job as a science teacher at Athens High School in February, was scheduled to stand trial next month on a domestic violence charge after an altercation in April with his wife in Springfield.
He also used his phone to send texts to the girl and lied to police about the messages. He also lied to investigators about taking her to a hotel, prosecutors claim.
Police said in a statement:
“The charges are a result from the investigation that was opened in January 2018, which Millward was involved in a teacher/student relationship. There are several aspects of the investigation that are ongoing.”
Millward was arraigned on charges of using a computer to communicate with another to commit the crime of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of lying to police. If convicted on all counts, he faces up to 20 years in prison.

A Ghanaian Pastor has claimed to have carried out the ritual murders of more than 600 children handed to him as sacrifices by devil-worshipping Doctors and Nurses in Ghana.
The unnamed man wore a mask to disguise his identity as he made the shocking claims in a bizarre video, telling a television interviewer he had spent 17 years living with Satan.
In his ‘confession’, he said he had killed 675 people who were ‘mostly children’ given to him by members of an occult group in the medical profession.
Local reports, however, make no mention of any police investigation into alleged ritual murders and does not say when or where they are said to have taken place.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, went on to say that he was born with dark spirits and once had more than 650 demonic spirits at his disposal – some of which he named.
He said he had needed to make the sacrifices in order to sustain his power – but has since left the ‘Satanic kingdom’, according to reports in the country.
A video of the man making the extraordinary claims appeared in Ghanaian media with reports saying the clip was culled before it could go to air on television.
The man hit out at so-called ‘fake’ pastors in the country, accusing them of using dark spirits to deceive their followers.
According to Yen.com, the pastor denied he was speaking out for monetary gain, insisting he was the son of a former Chief Justice who had left him properties after passing away.
Some Lagosians have argued over whether the issue of height is a barrier to the choice of spouse in relationships.
While others say it does not matter to them, some are of the opinion it is an utmost necessity.
Some told a News Agency of Nigeria correspondent in Lagos in separate interviews that height was an important factor to consider before going into any relationships.
Those who believed that height was an issue in relationships, said it could make or mar a relationship.
Chief Abiodun Ajayi, an importer residing in Lagos, said height mattered so much in the choice of a spouse, especially when the man is below average height.
He added that: “height matters so much in marriage or relationships, it is expected that husband should be taller than wife, but when the reversed is the case, it creates inconveniences for the couple.
“These inconsistencies come in what people perceive or say. Ironically, it may have no effects on the physical performance or responsibilities expected of the two.”
According to Ajayi, who says he has produced two medical doctors with his taller wife, the financial capability hasn’t got anything to do with physical size.
Kenechukwu Nwaka, a publisher of school books also in Lagos, said he had been married for 12 years with four children, adding that height should be considered in relationships.
He also believed that the man should be taller than the woman “so that the woman would not look down on him.”
He added that “if the woman is taller, it tends to dwarf the man.”
He, however, said “I want to believe that taller women have wider pelvic wall for child birth, though this is arguable.”
Meanwhile, a middle aged lady who did not want to be identified, also said height mattered so much to her because she was disadvantaged in height.
She said “yes, height matters a lot for me in relationships because I am short, I go for taller men and that is how it should be.
“On the contrary, short men should go for taller women to perfect a couple match.”
Also, a beautician, Mrs Peace Umeorah, who is relatively tall, described height as a serious determinant in any relationships.
She said “height in marriage is as important as checking the genotype of a prospective partner because that would determine the physical structure of your children.
“When a short man marries a short woman, the tendency of producing tall children is almost impossible, then why cause physical disadvantage for your children.”
Umeorah, who is also a lab scientist, advised short men to consider taller women and vice versa in relationships.
However, Mrs Kemi Alabi, a trader, said that the issue of height should not be a yardstick in choosing a partner, adding that character was the most important issue in relationships.
She added that the issue of physical looks, especially height, should not encourage or discourage a man or woman into relationships.
Meanwhile, Andrea Nathaniel in a Facebook post, wrote:“height does not matter at all, the main thing is to love each other.”

Mrs. Grace Atinuke, born November 16, 1931, is known to be the first ever Miss Nigeria, having won the pageant in 1957.
Though she hails from Kogi State, Grandma Oyelude was born in Kano to James Adeleye Olude and Marthan Dantu, who both hail from Isanlu, present day Kogi State.
The story of how she became the first Miss Nigeria is as riveting as her enigmatic personality, even in her advanced old age.
Miss Nigeria started in 1957 as a photo contest, whereby contestants posted photographs of themselves to The Daily Times headquarters in Lagos. Finalists were shortlisted, and successful finalists were invited to compete in the live final at the Lagos Island Club.
Then, the Miss Nigeria contest did not include a swimsuit competition.
Then, Oyelude was working at UAC when she represented the then Northern region. After winning the contest, she travelled to England where she studied Nursing. Within months of gaining admission to the School of Nursing in Ashford, she was crowned Miss Nigeria.
She tells her story: “I was living in Kano then. My brother saw the advertisement in the newspapers and advised me to go to Lagos for an interview to be selected as a Miss Nigeria contestant.
“He applied, and the result was that I was supposed to be in Lagos for the Miss Nigeria contest.
“I was working in the UAC then, and they also were also involved in the pageant.
“The following day, they got me on a plane to Lagos and that was it.”
Oyelude currently holds the chieftaincy titles Iyaolu of Isaluland and Iyalode of Okunland. She has many grandchildren.
More recently, precisely on July 16, 2018, her ebullient nephew and a Professor of English Language at Carleton University in the United States, Pius Adesanmi, posted a photograph of the gracefully ageing Grandma Oyelude.
Nollywood Actress, Rita Dominic looks very beautiful in these new photos she has released online.
She is 43 and she is more appealing to the human eyes than many of her younger colleagues with her luscious skin which could kill the shine of gold.
She recently stepped out in a lovely gown and a perfect smile which has been described as the best make-up a woman could wear. Other pictures of her in a red jumpsuit will make any critical mind wonder why she is still single.

“I have just called the Chief Registrar to confirm that this is indeed the situation. That the Personal Assistant of the former CJN called her at 3.00pm Nigerian time to inform her of the demise.
“However, it’s 3:30am here in Montreal, Canada, where His Lordship the Honourable Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Mr. Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen, GCON, and other Justices of the Supreme Court and Chief Judges of some states, are attending a conference organised by the International Society for the Reform of Criminal Law, and I haven’t yet contacted the Hon. Under the fake name of Prof Alexander Moses of Ghana, Funmilade Adeyemi was able to dupe many people to the tune of N27 million, leading to so many petitions filed against him at the EFCC office.
One of those he scammed took to social media to break the news of his arrest in order for people who have fallen for his scam to be aware.
Read the post below:
”This is to all those who Funmilade Adeyemi aka Prof Alexander has defrauded! Please go and file your petition at EFFC, Ikoyi before he is granted bail… it is good they know that despite that his offence is bailable, his antecedents does not justify bail.
He needs to be restrained from defrauding more unsuspecting members of the public!. He jumped police bail in 2016 and defrauded over 60 people I know (including me) therafter. I visited EFCC at Ikoyi last Thursday, and he was brought to me from custody.
He was wearing an orange shirt and green bathroom slippers with black pant trousers. He told me it is devil’s work that has made him dupe over 60 people I know, including my humble self.
Recall I was almost jailed by my client and student in 2017 cos of the middle man role I played innocently between my student and Funmilade. Anywayz… I did a petition on behalf of myself and 7 petitioners present at EFFC that day.
He defrauded us in total of 26,950 million Naira and 5000US Dollars. Note that this is not up to 1/10th of total money fraudulently obtained by Fummilade.
He was just begging us when he was brought forward and said it is devil’s work (as usual) Unfortunately, EFCC did not allow us to take phones in based on their rules… Go and make your petition against Funmilade Adeyemi if you have one. Do so quickly!”

Nollywood actress, Chika Ike, who recently released a book titled Boss Up, has spoken on what motivated her to release the 41-chapter book that covers all the obstacles people go through in life: money, self-esteem, fear, relationships.
She also opened up a lot about herself revealing how she was rejected by her father from birth because he didn’t want a girl.
“I was rejected from birth by my father because he didn’t want a girl. So, it (that section) talks about me, my challenges growing up and the rejection I faced from my family. The book also talks about the business world because people think I like money. Well, they may be right because I grew up with nothing and don’t want to be a failure and I always push myself to succeed. I want to challenge myself to be somebody people thought I can never be.
“In the business world (section), I talk about how to have a successful business. I went to Harvard Business School. Harvard Business School was a launch pad for me because I found myself in a room with professionals – big people who run global businesses – sitting among business tycoons. I talked about tricks and how to run a successful business.”
Chika Ike also underscored the importance of the society in human’s existence. To run a successful business empire goes beyond huge money, she explained.
“When I was in Harvard Business School, the first two weeks was about personal case studies and personal development. I was given a coach and I was like I didn’t come here to talk about my family and my life. But the school authority realizes that before you can be successful in your business you must deal with the home front first. Every successful man and woman you see out there has succeeded in their families. They gave me a personal coach who went deep into my personal life: my family, my upbringing and me. I was someone who was brought up guided but Harvard Business School unguided me. They made me stand in front of over 200 professionals to talk about my life. I spoke so much about my life, family and how I was rejected by my father who was a good husband and father to all his children. But I didn’t have a good relationship with him growing up. I learnt early that you have to fight for yourself because at the end of the day it is you alone. I talked about my father, my mother and my siblings.”

The early exit of football teams of the supposedly heavy-weight countries at the just concluded world biggest football fiesta tagged “Russia 2018″, which ended on July 15, resorted into joys to the betting companies.
It, however, brought agonies to several of those who staked with the betting companies in Lagos for possible claims or dividend.
Many of such clients have continued to count their losses following the defeat suffered by their preferred teams by their opponents.
Sports betting has now become a booming business in the country for people to make ends meet and sequel to the fact that most of those who indulge in the betting have special interests in football in particular.
Many Nigerians that include: students, adults and upwardly mobile men and women have dominated the customers of the various betting companies and, especially, sports betting.
The fast pace at which new betting companies with a special bias for sports are emerging is alarming and welcoming.
After the grand finale of the Russia 2018 where Croatia lost to France, a customer who had staked N50, 000 before the match thinking that Croatia would emerge the overall winner wept uncontrollably when he realised that his fortunes had gone into the drain.
It took the efforts of other fans there to console him.
After he had regained his composure, he told other fans that he staked such a huge amount on the team because of its sterling performances right from the group stage up to the semi-finals.
“With what happened now, I have learnt my lessons that truly, anything can happen in the game of football,’’ he said.
Also, another customer, Jamiu Ojo, who staked N20,000 with his belief that Germany would beat South Korea to advance to the next stage of the world cup went wild when the outcome of the match did not favour him.
He told NAN that he had recorded more losses than he had won. “I will keep betting because I hope that one day I will hit the jackpot.’’
He said that like most people, he used to have the impression that betting was an avenue for people to make quick and easy cash.
“To tell you the truth, it is not easy to make money from betting. Beating the bookmakers is not an easy task.
“They trick you with good odds, but in the end, only a handful people win.
“Betting most times requires lots of research and luck, “he said.
Another person who simply identified himself as Punmba as his betting identity said, “This World Cup prediction has turned out to be a shocker.’’ Punmba said that he lost close to N200,000 to betting during the fiesta.
“To be honest, I was expecting to make a lot of money during the World Cup because I assumed that there would be high chances of the stronger teams defeating the smaller ones.
“However, the underdogs at this World Cup have proved to be up to the task of defeating the supposedly stronger ones, and this has caused a major upset for me this time around, “he said.
A report by a popular online forum, stated that “60 million Nigerians between 18 years and 40 years of age spend more than N1 billion daily on sports betting”.
The report also revealed that “a betting company can generate up to N20 million monthly and use between N5 million and N7 million to meet winners’ obligation in terms of payment”.
Kunle Olawale, an agent with a betting company, and manages a centre in Okota area of Lagos State told NAN that he wished he had enough capital to start his own betting company.
“These companies make a lot of money. We send loads of cash to their headquarters after the end of each day’s transactions’’.
Olawale said that the emergence of the betting outfits had increased and boosted business for operators of viewing centres across the nation.

A man chanced upon internet sensation Speed Darlington in New York traffic using his new Mercedes Benz as a cab and the man filmed it while trolling the Energy god.
Anyone who follows Speed Darlington knows he doesn’t joke with that Benz which he bought recently and has been boasting with on social media.
Recall, he even threatened to kill someone after his Benz was scratched. So, it came as a surprise to this man when he saw Speed Darlington using the Benz to work for extra cash, and the man began mocking him there and then in traffic.
Speed Darlington was mature about it and didn’t say a word. When he got tired of the man’s mockery, he wound up his car window.
Since when did it become a bad thing to be an enterprising young man who is trying his hands at other sources of income though? Well, Nigerians were on Speed Darlingtons side in this case and called out the man for his childish actions.
