A man chanced upon internet sensation Speed Darlington in New York traffic using his new Mercedes Benz as a cab and the man filmed it while trolling the Energy god.
Anyone who follows Speed Darlington knows he doesn’t joke with that Benz which he bought recently and has been boasting with on social media.
Recall, he even threatened to kill someone after his Benz was scratched. So, it came as a surprise to this man when he saw Speed Darlington using the Benz to work for extra cash, and the man began mocking him there and then in traffic.
Speed Darlington was mature about it and didn’t say a word. When he got tired of the man’s mockery, he wound up his car window.
Since when did it become a bad thing to be an enterprising young man who is trying his hands at other sources of income though? Well, Nigerians were on Speed Darlingtons side in this case and called out the man for his childish actions.

Nigerian singer, Tekno posted a photo of himself from a recent photo shoot that seemed like he was smoking and captioned it,

The 2022 FIFA World Cup which is scheduled to hold in Qatar is the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup.
It is tagged Qatar 2022. The event will be the first time it will be taking place in the Arab world and the first in a Muslim-majority country.

UCH Ibadan was accused by one Mr. Ore Afolayan of administering an expired and fake vaccine to his son sometime last week.

32-year old Sergio Ramos popped the question while on holiday with his 40-year old girlfriend of six years who accepted the proposal which he made at a romantic dinner on Monday evening.

Legendary Nigerian boxer, Jerry Okorodudu says he is dying of hunger over the non-payment of his 10 months’ salary by the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Okorodudu, Nigeria’s boxer in the 1994 Los Angeles Olympic Games, U.S., says he is owed the salary arrears by the sports ministry without any explanation as he told the told News Agency of Nigeria that the situation had deprived him of providing for his family, adding that he had “resorted to begging in order to eat and feed his family’’.
It will be recalled that the 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games bronze medallist had in 2016 gone cap in hands begging the same ministry to pay him 14 months’ salary arrears. The matter was later resolved and he got his salary arrears then.
“I have travelled to Abuja severally and also written letters to the ministry but nothing is forthcoming, all they do is to keep referring me to different people in the ministry. I am dying of hunger and can no longer cater for my family because my salary has not been paid in the last 10 months.
I have represented this country during my active years and should not be treated this way, this is bad. A similar thing happened in 2016 where I petitioned the ministry and the court ordered them to pay me the 14 months salaries they owed me as at then,’’ he said.
The former boxer, who also won two gold medals at the African Championship in 1982, lamented the treatment from the sports ministry in spite of his contributions and sacrifices for the country. “My pensionable job in the ministry was changed to a contract; the Nigeria Boxing Federation has also sidelined me by removing me from every competition. I represented this country well as an athlete and a coach, but it is a pity that this is happening to me and other former sportsmen and women in the country,’’ he said.
President Buhari has said that the 2019 general elections will be costing about 242.4 billion Naira. The President said this today in a letter sent to the National Assembly, seeking that the funds be drawn from the 2018 and 2019 budgets.
In the letter he explained that implementing a budget of 9.12 trillion Naira for 2018 will be extremely challenging and does not consider it expedient, to increase it to accommodate the funds needed for the 2019 general elections.
He had earlier criticised the National Assembly for reducing allocations for some projects and including thousands of projects into the budget without consultation with the Executive.
According to him, the National Assembly made cuts amounting to N347 billion in the allocations to 4,700 projects submitted to them for consideration and introduced 6,403 projects of their own amounting to N578 billion.
“Many of the projects cut are critical and may be difficult, if not impossible, to implement with the reduced allocation. He has, therefore, asked the National Assembly to transfer the funds appropriated for the new projects which are inserted in the 2018 budget to cover the sum of 228.8 billion Naira for the elections.
The President also noted that the balance will be provided in the 2019 budget.

On addressing the remark on his blog, Banky W noted that the car is a 2008 Range Rover Sport and is currently for sale to the highest bidder.
According to him, he made the decision to sell the car last month month, and he will be donating whatever he gets from the sale to the “Vocational School for the Blind” in Oshodi and the “Pink Oak Cancer Trust Fund”.

“Dear Stalker, In response to the cringe-worthy, creepy video you made about my wife and I, I think there are some things you need to know. First of all, poverty will never be my portion in Jesus name. Also, it is a 2008 Range Rover Sport, not a 1999. Amen and Lol. Oh, and additionally, it’s currently for sale to the highest bidder. I had decided last month that I’d sell it, and whatever I got for it, I’d hand over to the “Vocational School for the Blind” in Oshodi and the “Pink Oak Cancer Trust Fund”.
“My Aunt volunteers at the school, and she reminded me that they were still trying to raise some money to care for their students, so I came up with a plan. I told her that I’d give my followers the background history of my old car, and get all my celebrity friends who’d sat in it at some point or another to autograph it, and then put it up for an online auction. I figured that since I didn’t need the money from the sale to buy a new one, we could just auction it off and hopefully raise a decent enough amount of money to give back to those in need.
