On an edition of E!’s Life of Kylie, the mother-of-one said:

‘I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips … I [had] really small lips,’

‘It was like one of my first kisses and a guy was like, “I didn’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips,”‘ she said, adding that she ‘took that really hard.’

‘Just when a guy you like says that, I don’t know, it just really affected me – I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty.’

Kylie said that she ‘really wanted bigger lips’ and was compelled to try and use makeup to compensate for what she felt she was lacking in:

‘I would over-line my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips.’

But eventually she nixed that fix, opting to undergo cosmetic surgery to enhance her lips. She continued:

‘Finally I was like, “This lip liner isn’t doing it,”‘ adding that she ‘ended up getting [her] lips done.’

KYLIE JENNER PLASTIC SURGERY:
Despite constant rumours surrounding Kylie Jenner’s body, the shape of Kylie Jenner’s eyes, cheekbones and chin, she has always denied undergoing any other surgery on her face.

According to Kylie, her plumped-up lips changed the appearance of her facial features.

In 2016 the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star addressed the ongoing speculation on her website.

‘No I didn’t [have cheek surgery]. People started saying that when I was 16.’

‘You really think Kris Jenner would let a 16 year old me have cheek and jaw reconstructive surgery? No.’

‘I always used to love my jaw. I was never self-conscious about my jaw, but before I got my lips done, my lips were very tiny and more like sunken into my chin.’

In the same blog Kylie also said she wasn’t considering breast implants or ‘ass implants’.

‘I’ve thought about it [boob job] and I think “Why ruin it?” I have really good boobs naturally. They’re like a cute little size. I’m not against it but right now, it’s a no from me. No ass implants, no ass implants.’

Nigerian Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme has made his first public appearance after fight against Cancer of the Blood, Leukemia.

Digital Sports Editor, Nathan Judah revealed on Twitter that the 32-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers’ goalkeeper helped in opening a brand new Haematology & Oncology Day unit at Solihull Hospital on Tuesday.

Ikeme who was supposed to be Super Eagles number 1 at the Russia 2018 World Cup was diagnosed with acute leukemia during a blood test following his return to his club Wolverhampton Wanderers for pre-season training last summer.

Peter Okoye and Tonto Dikeh, have come under fire over the words they used while consoling Dbanj on the death of his only son, which some people find offensive.

In a comment to Dbanj’s post thanking people for being there for him during this tragic time, Peter Okoye wrote: “We love you bro… stay strong. My son is your son. Remain blessed.”

Tonto Dikeh also left a similar comment, writing: “We love you Banga, Be strengthened… My son is your son too. God bless you.”

However, some fans criticized them, saying they were being insensitive and it was wrong to try to replace the position Dbanj’s son holds in his heart by offering their sons.

An Instagram user @miss_zee1031 wrote: “@tontolet what’s wrong with u? this is not a charity case. how cn u say “my son is ur son” it’s too soon at this point of time to b saying that… did he tell u he needed a replacement? he didn’t just loss a pet or money that cn be replaced so why say that. I totally understand how much u love him but ur write up is disgusting.”

President Buhari has said that the political future of Igbos in Nigeria depends on his re-election in 2019.

The president stated this at the Southeast mega rally at Dan Anyiam Stadium in Imo State, organized by Governor Rochas Okorocha yesterday July 3rd.

Runtown in fresh trouble with estranged label, faces possible jail term (details)

Nigerian singer, Douglas Jack Agu popularly known by his stage name – Runtown is once again in trouble with the law as his estranged label, Eric Many has once again dragged him to court in a fresh case of contempt of court after Runtown released a new song despite a court order against him.

According to a statement signed by the label’s general manager, Johnson Adumike, ‘we are in Court with Runtown for his breach of our Recording Contract. We sued him because while applying to the Registrar of Trademarks in Abuja to register professional names licensed to us during the duration of our contract, Runtown also unilaterally terminated our Recording Contract with him’.

‘While our Contract is supposed to fall due for expiration on 22nd June 2018, Ericmany has an outstanding balance of about N266,694,755.08 to recoup on our investment and expenses on Runtown. He also failed to deliver an Album which the Contract requires him to deliver to us during the Contract Period. Under the contract if there is outstanding money or Album by 22nd June, 2018, end of the Contract Period, the Contract enters into an Option Period of one year. Runtown has neither honoured the Contract Period nor the Option Period. Following our application, Abuja High Court made an Interim Order on 10th May, 2018, barring Runtown from any performance or recording of any song outside our Contract until the issues are sorted out by Court.

‘The Judge also ordered that status quo be maintained until our Motion praying for this protection is decided. Yet on 27th June, 2018 Runtown released a new song outside our Contract. Determined to follow due process in our dispute with Runtown we have filed a Contempt of Court case against him. Following Court Order to serve Runtown by publication in the Punch, our Notice of Contempt of Court is published at page 22 of The Punch Newspaper today. If he still fails to respect Court Order by removing the song, we will follow up with the next steps to ensure Runtown is committed to prison, since he is not above the law.

‘If he felt the Court Order is wrong, his lawyer has already appeared in Court and filed papers. It is for his lawyer to show the Court that the Order is wrong. It is not open to Runtown to ignore Court Order. It is important to state that we are at home with the fact that Runtown does not intend to continue working with us. We are not in any confusion about that. We have therefore not asked the Court to order him to continue working with us. Our case is for recovery of our money and the Album he owes in line with the Contract. It is the duty of both sides to abide by Court Orders. So Ericmany will continue to rely on due process until we get justice’.

Funmilayo E. Atolagbe is a married woman who welcomed a child after almost 20 years of expecting a baby.

The happy mother has now shared her testimony while revealing how far she had to go for the child.

Mrs Funmilayo revealed that she tried both fake and real pastors, travelled far and near, and climbed mountains to have a child.

She also tried IVF several times but all failed. Eventually, she welcomed a baby girl last year February.

She wrote:

“I waited for 20yrs and a proud mum now. I married 1998, got pregnant immediately but lost the baby at birth and ever since i have been trying naturally and with IVF. Had 6ivfs but no success.
“Then had my baby girl last year February. The journey cannot be explain. Travelled far and near, climbed mountains. Had encounter with fake and real pastors.
“But to God be the glory, he blessed me with a beautiful baby girl. She is my gift.”

Nollywood actress, Ifeoma Okeke has shared how she battled with depression and started drinking to get over her pains and personal struggles.

According to Ifeoma, she was physically abused by her man on a constant note – she narrated how she used to drink two cartons of beer at a stretch.

Below is what she told Dupe Ayinla Olasunkanmi in a recent chat on why she is yet to give marriage a try,

“I think I answered this same question some years back and I would not want it to be the topic of this interview. My foundation, Purple Campaign was given birth to out of a violent relationship I was in years back. I was in the relationship for three years, and the only Igbo guy I had dated. So with a new relationship, I tolerated those things I never had to put up with in the past ones.

Even if I am called that he is seen with someone, I will pretend to be in the know. I felt I had seen my husband. One thing I had said to myself was that I would never leave my man because he cheats. So I think he took that advantage knowing I was never going to leave. So the moment I started complaining, we started having issues and he battered me. In fact, sometimes I never believed the things he beat me up for. And it continued; it kept lingering and I was asking myself if I would leave if I was married.

One day, he had stopped beating me and we had reconciled. But on May 26, 2008, I looked at one of my beautiful pictures before dating him and compared it to the lady standing in front of the mirror and they were two opposites. I was looking like a widow; I was bigger and fading away. I started indulging in beer. I could finish two cartons in a day; nobody knew what I was going through.

Depression is real, you can hurt people by words and they will be dying silently. My birthday came, and I called a friend that I wanted something different aside just celebrating with friends, and she told me about a lady who was raped at nine and it continued and how this had affected her adulthood. I thought about it and wanted a colour to represent the idea, so I went on the internet and came about purple, which stands for the two things; violence and royalty.

That was how the idea of Purple Campaign started. And for me, there was no looking back. I want to be married and loved. I know I have my flaws. After that relationship, I tolerate less; I know I can be temperamental. But when someone loves you for your flaws, the good parts will complement. I know there is a good part of me. I haven’t seen that man, and I know he is out there. There is no hurry in life.”

French President, Emmanuel Macron was in Nigeria yesterday to witness the signing of new deal with the country at the state house Abuja before he made his way to the New Afrika Shrine in Lagos.

During his speech, the French President said he never expected to return to Nigeria under these circumstances almost 17 years after his first stay in the country.

In his words, ‘It’s very emotional for me to come back to Nigeria 17 years after my stay. I didn’t imagine I’d be back in these conditions. Democracy is never written in advance. I’m probably a good example of that’.

Speaking about the shrine and why he chose to visit, he said, ‘the Shrine is an iconic cultural hub. And I say with a lot of humility that I recognize the importance of African culture’.

An Openly Gay Nigerian man, Felix Kalu who has relocated to the US, shared a post on his Facebook page detailing how he fought Homophobia before leaving the shores of Nigeria.

How I resist homophobia.

I am 27 years old. I am young and powerful.

Every war comes after a threat. The day my society threatened me they asked for a war. I will fight them to their knees. The more they resist me, the more I will persist.

I currently have someone in my life that makes me feel like a treasure. This person loves me very much. This person worships me. This person can melt mountains for me. We hope to get married some day.
Everyone should be given the opportunity to feel the way I feel right now.

A gay boy told me that his family thinks he is the one behind all the problems they are encountering. I have heard many of such stories where a family discovers a member was gay and concludes that God was punishing the entire family because of his homosexuality.

In this boy’s case he was not just put out of the house, but all his clothes were burned. At that point can you imagine what life meant for him?

That boy lived with me till he learned a skill and my last kobo was used to open a shop for him. I believe the only way we young people can protect ourselves is when we are empowered. Sometimes I have had to take them and keep them in my house.

A boy came to me with full blown AIDS and left as a barber who owned a barbing salon and an undergraduate of the open university. I feel proud of myself. I said I am not going to have any biological child because of this.

There was one day I left the house early in the morning to give my last 3k to a boy that was going for this dancing competition, his family did not support him because he danced like a girl.

After I gave him that money I came back to the house to one pack of Indomie noodle that I hoped to eat that morning, I didn’t know there was no gas, I chewed the indomie like that with water, but when he won that competition I felt a satisfaction that no food can give.

I didn’t buy new clothes for 3 years because I had boys going to school, boys who called me father even though some of them were older than me.

Alleged Sidechic beaten for paying Boyfriend Suprised Visit

A married man, Olusola Simeon, has been ordered to be remanded at the Ilesa prison, for savagely battering his girlfriend, Fadahunsi Alaba, for visiting him unannounced at Agowande, Osogbo, Osun state.

Simeone was, on Tuesday, arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate’s Court, for assault. Alaba was said to have, at about 9:15pm on July 2, 2018, moved her belongings to Simeon’s house, unannounced, and ran into his wife and kids.

Shocked by the discovery, Alaba reportedly expressed her anger and queried Simeon, stressing that he did not tell her that he is married, throughout their six-year relationship.

According to Jafani Muslim, the prosecutor, the suspect became furious that Alaba visited his house without informing him, a development that led to a quarrel and the battery.

Simeon pleaded guilty to assault and was immediately convicted by the Magistrate, Awodele Adedoyin, who ordered that he be remanded in Ilesha prison custody till August 3, when the court will sentence him.

Igbo group tells herdsmen to vacate their land within 2 months or they’d be killed

An Igbo pressure group, identified as Voice from the East, VEAST, has given the Fulani herdsmen in the South-East, as well as Anioma, in Delta State, and Ikwere in Rivers State, up till August 31, 2018 to leave.

The group wants the cattle rearers to vacate their land and forests.

The group embarked on a peaceful protest Tuesday in Enugu, warning that should the armed herdsmen fail to leave after the ultimatum, they would mobilise and comb forests and lands to send them packing.

They said that they may even resort to killing the herdsmen should they become adamant and refuse to leave.

They said that the quit notice was a result of the Federal Government’s inaction or tacit support for the herdsmen menace.

According to DailyPost, convener of the group, Comrade Kindness Jonah, told newsmen after their demonstration that government’s inability to check the killings necessitated the issuance of the quit notice.

“We carried out the demonstration for the sole purpose of giving quit notice to Fulani herdsmen in Igboland, the five South Eastern states as well as Anioma and Ikwerre land.

“The aberrant killings by Fulani herdsmen purposely unchecked by Federal Government and military instigated this quit notice.

“At Ezi Nze in UDI Local Government Area of Enugu State, Fulani herdsmen kidnapped several young men, demanding N2 million compensation for purported killing of undisclosed number of cows, out of which N6000,000.00 has been paid.

“VEAST sees this as an affront of the highest order which can no longer be tolerated in Igboland.

”After 31st August, 2018, since nobody holds the monopoly of violence and for the mere fact that the Nigerian military and police are working secretly, openly with the herdsmen, VEAST will galvanise young men from all Igboland to enter Igbo forests to kill and butcher any Fulani herdsmen,” he said.

Former Aide to President Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has taken to his favourite social media app, twitter to blast the age of the current age of incumbent Nigerian President, Buhari, suggesting it as one of the reasons Nigeria has not progressed over the years.

The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode on Tuesday said that the visit of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron to Lagos will usher in a new dawn.

Ambode made the remark while speaking at the Afrika Shrine in Ikeja, on Tuesday night, at an event tagged “Celebrate African Culture”, which welcomed Macron to the state.

Ambode stated that the French Leader’s visit would signal the dawn of a new collaboration between France and Lagos State.

He said “President Macron’s visit is expected to signal the dawn of a new collaboration between France and Lagos State in the quest to make the state the culture and entertainment capital of Africa.

“The event is also about celebrating African culture which was a positive step for France as it sought to rebuild its relationship with Africa.”

The French leader at the event was given the opportunity to interact with Nigerian musicians, artists, fashion designers and filmmakers, even as he encouraged Nigerian youths to participate in politics.

French President, Emmanuel Macron has ulfilled his promise to visit the new Afrikan Shrine in Lagos.

Last night, the 40-year-old French leader was received by late Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s first son, Femi Kuti in company of Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.

In the words of the French President, ‘I mean Fela, Femi, Seun Kuti are obviously very famous in France and Europe, I mean they are big successes but the Shrine is a cultural hub, an iconic hub and it is very important for me first on a personal level, and that is why I want 2 say with a lot of humility that I recognize the importance of this place, I recognize the place of culture in this current environment.”

DBanj finally speaks since the death of his son, Daniel

DB Records Boss, DBanj, this morning took to the gram to thank everyone who has extended their hands of supports towards his family, since the death of his 1 year old son, Daniel ‘D third.

Taking to the gram, he wrote: “We want to use this medium to thank everyone that has extended a hand of support to us during this period. On behalf of myself and my family, we are awed by the demondstration of love and care from both near and afar. May God Bless you all. From the Oyebanjos.”

This is the first time Dbanj will be speaking after the loss of his child.

Daniel Oyebanjo III died after drowning at a pool in Dbanj’s Ikoyi residence on Sunday afternoon.

His remains have been moved to a morgue at GRA, Ikeja.

The President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki also reacted to the death of Daniel, in his reaction, Saraki prayed that God will console Dbanj and his family.

In a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, Saraki wrote: “Dapo ‘D’Banj’ Oyebanjo, accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss.

“May the Almighty comfort you and your family at this trying time.”

Court orders prosecution of Channels Television staff, Metuh’s Lawyer

Justice Okon Abang, the judge presiding over the case of alleged fraud involving a former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh, has demanded the prosecution of three staff of Channels Television.

Abang also asked the office of the Attorney-General to institute a case of alleged prejudicial comments against a lawyer, Benchux Nwosu, representing Mr Metuh.

The judge gave the order after listening to a recorded programme aired on Channels Television involving the ongoing trial of Mr Metuh.

The judge, however, failed to include a lawyer representing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Johnson Ojogbane, who spoke through a telephone conversation to the station during the aired programme.

“The court has listened attentively to the video recording of Channels Television Sunrise Daily of April, 2018.

“I noticed that Bemchux Nwosu was also on the programme. I heard what he said about the trial going on in this court. If he was in court before me, I would have known what to do. I thought he had the courage. He ought to have appeared before the court.

“It is clear that the statement of the programme was aired outside the court, not within the court, therefore I have no jurisdiction to determine whether the statements are prejudicial to this court,” the judge said.

Mr Abang said though he had no jurisdiction to declare that the statement made by the three persons representing Channels constituted prejudicial discussion, “I have jurisdiction to refer this matter to the body that can determine such.”

The judge then ordered that the matter be referred to the disciplinary committee of the Nigeria Bar Association. He also directed that the prosecution (EFCC) file copies of compliance to the judgement within 30 days.

Part of what the prosecution is expected to comply with is the arraignment of the three journalists along with Mr Nwosu in a court of law.

The judge said the case should be instituted by the office of the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.

An APC Mega rally held in Owerri, Imo state earlier today, and the Governor, Rochas Okorocha said the Igbos who never believed in President Buhari when he was campaigning for president in 2015, have declared to support him in 2019. President Buhari will be seeking re-election in 2019.

Speaking at the rally, Okorocha said ;

”Igbos never believed in Buhari in 2015 but 2019 Igbos have declared for Buhari,”.

Okorocha, who is also the Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), used the opportunity to correct the impression that APC is not recognised in the South East.

“We also want to correct the impression that there is no APC in the South East which has led to some of our leaders in Abuja negotiating with the governors in the South East to vote for Buhari for President to gain their support in return. Ladies and gentlemen, that act can best be described in the Rochas dictionary as an act of Iberiberism. If anybody wants to support APC, it must be total. There is no partial support for APC for President and support the governor differently.” he said

Nigerian actor, Bayo Bankole, popularly known as Boy Alinco in television comedy series, Papa Ajasco, has just taken to his social media page to reveal to his fans how he survived a ghastly car accident.

The screen star took to his Facebook account to thank God for sparing his life, and also shared pictures of the sad incident.

Bankole’s post reads:

Nigerian UK based gospel artiste, Sharon Oyakhilome, and first daughter of popular preacher, Chris Oyakhilome, is set to tie the knot with her Ghanaian heartthrob, Philip Frimpong.

She made this known on her Facebook- “We love CSO” page on Tuesday, following earlier reports that the clergy had also made the announcement to his church members earlier in the week

She wrote: “Save the date, Oct 6th.”

Sharon, 25, is the first of two daughters of Chris Oyakhilome, the senior pastor of Christ Embassy and his estranged wife, Anita Ebhodaghe.

She dropped her debut single titled, ‘I’m Excellent’ in 2014, featuring Ice Stanley, and has also performed along notable international artistes in concerts.

In October 2017, she announced her engagement to Philip Frimpon, co-founder of ONUA, a fast growing online advertising company that promotes West African artistry.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, says Nigerians presently have more electricity than they can consume.

Speaking in an interview with newsmen in Abuja, Garba said

“We have more electricity that cannot be consumed, 2,000 megawatts of electricity that nobody is taking. By the year ending, we are going to hit 10,000 megawatts from the 2,600 that we inherited.”.
