Top and influential singer, Beyoncé, 36, has reportedly bought a church in New Orleans.
A new report by TMZ revealed that the mother of three is the new owner of a stone structured, 7,500 sq. ft house of God in The Big Easy.
The New Orleans church which is more than 100-years-old was listed at $850,000 (£631,000) foot, and has been out of use as a religious place for a while.
The site also reported that the church was built in the early 1900s, but has been out of commission as a place of worship for some time due to its church members passing away.
The news comes weeks after San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral Church held a ‘Beyonce Mass‘ with more than 900 people in attendance to worship the singer.
Former Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Ifu-Ennada is certainly not one to keep mum when trolls come for her on social media.
Matter of fact, she tends to go all ballistic when a troll comes for her, just as she did when this troll told her the media has forgotten about her.
Ifu had commented on a post of her colleague, Alex, writing,
Alex the great, beautiful bride!
And a particular troll then came at her,
Shut up . Famzer face ur own life. The media has forgotten about you already
To which Ifu replied,
Please fuck off and die. Everything about me, even the dust of my shoe will be more relevant than you’ll ever be. You’ve messaged me here because I’m popular…remind me who knows you idiot. If you think standing by and supporting someone is wrong, then you’re a devil. The original kind. Be gone Satan! Hell awaits you former cesspool from a backward planet. Be gone satan! Be gone! By the way my haircare Line @beautifuennada will stay relevant long after you’re gone. Prepare to die as I announce it this week fool. I’m done with idiots like you!
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo during a special Sunday Service at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly in Abuja emphasized on the importance of obedience to God’s word and instruction noting that they are essential for successful nation-building.
According to him, the church has its role to play in nation building – creativity, innovation and hard work, according to him are also vital instruments which the church needs to focus on to move the nation forward.
In his own words:
“It is the church that transforms everywhere. That creativity that God commanded us to do everywhere is what will change our nation. Our creativity, innovation and hard work, and this is a command. So if we obey God, our nation will change. There are many countries all over the world with huge resources and many other countries that have no resources. It is creativity that makes the difference,” he said.

Apostle Johnson Suleman who has been one of the many ‘men of God’ targeted and heavily criticized by #FreeTheSheeple Covener – OAP Daddy Freeze appear to still have love for him.
The Founder of Omega Fire Ministries, revealed that the controversial On-Air media personality, Daddy Freeze is not his enemy.
During his sermon, Apostle Johnson Suleman said that contrary to reports, he had never watched Freeze’s videos because he wants to love him.
The cleric said he would hate Freeze and have his relationship with God thwarted if he watched his videos.
According to him, Freeze was still his brother, noting that “the enemies of the kingdom are those against the church, brothers can disagree on doctrines and still be brothers.
Apostle Suleman added:
“I have never watched a video against Freeze because I still want to love him, when I meet him and not hate him.
You do not conclude a story after hearing one version, we live in a generation where people take one part of a story and analyse it
I was told freeze took up my video last Sunday and was analysing it. This is the first time I’m calling his name and there is no need to watch his video not because of arrogance but so that I would not have an impression bad about him.
I want to see someone like him on the road and hug him and shake his hands.I would not watch his video because I still want to love him and if I do it would affect me and my relationship with God that’s why I don’t watch such video.
Analysing me or what I said was very wrong because I have not watched him, Freeze has abused me severally but I thank him for calling me names, in the days of persecution they will call you names but when he goes through his own persecution I will stand by him.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has alleged that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government is plotting to assassinate him in a crowd and claim accidental discharge.
The governor made the alleged revelation during the third anniversary thanksgiving service of the Wike administration at Living Faith Church in D-Line, Port Harcourt on Sunday.
The Governor said:
“Intelligence report available to us as at this morning indicate that they are plotting to assassinate me in a crowd and claim it was accidental discharge. The level of conspiracy against Rivers State is unfortunate. Instead of focusing on governance, they focus on how to assassinate me or frame me up. I am not afraid because nobody can kill me. What is in me is greater than them”
Governor Wike informed the church that the Federal Government through the Inspector General of Police (IGP) plotted to plant millions of dollars and AK47 at his Abuja residence, when the police sought search warrant from an Abuja court.
“I am not afraid of my residence being searched by the police, but I know their evil intention”, he said

Fast-rising Anambra State-born actress, Paschaline Alex Okoli, has addressed some rumours which have trailed her in recent times as she spoke about her career, life, relationship and more.
While speaking in an exclusive interview with Daily Sun, Paschaline Alex Okoli, who claimed that she has been labeled a snob and even a lesbian, has cleared the air on why people misunderstand her personality. She also talks about her kind of man, premarital s*x, lesbian rumours and lots more.
Here are excerpts from the interview ;
How has the year 2018 been for you?
So far, it has been so good. The year has been ‘litty litty’, if you know what I mean.
Any plan to go into movie production?
For now, no! Maybe before the year ends, something might come up in terms of movie production.
Aside Jenifa’s Dairy, you are hardly seen in regular movies, why?
I do movies too, but not regularly.
Which movie brought you into the limelight?
College Girls, the pay was nothing to write home about, but in all I am grateful.
How supportive are your parents concerning your chosen career?
My mum gave me one million per cent support from the beginning. But my dad was not in support the first time he knew about it. But being someone that is as stubborn as her father, the old man had to accept by force, after much persuasion.
Talking about stubbornness, we’ve heard people say you are also snobbish, how true is this?
Wow! Snobbish? That’s not true at all. Being stubborn and snobbish are two different things. People that don’t know me see me as a snobbish little lady. But, I can’t go about trying to make people understand me. If you know me, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Aside movies what else do you do?
I run a cleaning company, #Weclean. It is actually my personal little company.
How long have you been in it and how did you start the business?
I started the cleaning business last year. It is not easy, you know. I’m that girl that loves success, so I tried to venture into one or two businesses apart from acting.
It was once rumoured that you are a lesbian; can you defend that?
Like you said, it’s all a rumour. That’s not true at all.
What’s your take on same sex marriage?
I don’t think it’s right!
How about s*x toys, it’s almost taking over the world?
I don’t support that either.
Can you share your first encounter with Nollywood?
My first encounter with Nollywood was in 2010 when I did ‘waka pass’ in a movie directed by Kalu Anya, and starring the likes of Chika Ike among others. The movie was shot in Asaba. But then I was not ready to make acting a career because I was still in school.
What’s your opinion on premarital s*x?
I’m not a saint oh. But our bodies are supposed to be temples of the Holy Spirit. St. Paul says that the sin of the body is serious compared to the sin committed outside the body.
What makes a good actor?
A good actor should be so convincing in a role to the extent of holding the audience captive, and also make them feel as if there is nothing but the story at hand.
Are you currently in a serious relationship?
Yes! I’m in a very serious relationship with God.
What kind of man do you want for marriage?
I want a man who will support and encourage me to pursue my desires and dreams. I want a man that will make me feel comfortable expressing my thoughts and feelings openly to him without fearing his judgment or ridicule.
What could make Paschaline shed midnight tears?
When I miss home or things aren’t going the way I want it to; it makes me cry.
Have you been heartbroken? And how did you deal with it?
Yes, I am human, but after two weeks I was back to normal.
Did that make you cry or starve yourself of food?
I was hurt to be honest, but I didn’t starve myself of food.

Linda Ikeji’s blogging adventures succeeded in making her (intentionally or unintentionally) step on toes of many persons in the public eye, celebrities and politicians alike.
One of these persons was Nigeria’s self accclaimed investigative Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo.

Nollywood Actress, Toyin Abraham has reacted to the news of Queen Blogger, Linda Ikeji’s Pregnancy.
Toyin, who recently got engaged to her ‘Lawyer Bae’, took to her Instagram page to congratulate Linda.
See her post below;
Earlier today, Linda Ikeji personally announced the news herself, she wrote;
Did you guys read the title of this post? Should I write it again? Oh God, I can’t breath…lol. So let me say that again…I, Linda Ikeji, is going to be a mum. Somebody please pinch me! Gosh, I can’t get over it.
2018 started with me finding out I was pregnant. When I missed my period and my friend and I did a home pregnancy test and it read positive, my friend began to cry with happiness but I was just there staring at the stick like, you’re not messing with me, are you?
This is real and not a joke on me, right? I refused to believe it and asked my friend to drive me to a lab for another test. And there it was confirmed, I was pregnant. Me, Linda, I am going to have my own child. Please don’t wake me up from this lovely dream..lol
So many women have had children, so what’s the big deal, huh? Lol. Well, you see me, I’m somewhat of a different case. There’s something about me that I have never talked about publicly before and that’s the fact that I love children so much (I took that from my dad), and I am particularly obsessed with babies, and I mean that literally. Their pureness, innocence, little beautiful faces, tiny hands and soft cheeks make me just want to be around them.
I grew up in a compound with a lot of neighbours and believe it or not, as a teenager/young woman, I was the unofficial resident babysitter. I swear, ask my siblings. I literally carried all the new born babies born in that compound at a period of time until they grew up to a certain age. Their mums used to come drop the babies at our house whenever they were tired or wanted to go out, this was, of course, to the annoyance of my family…lol.
The first baby I carried was a boy named Makoba (wonder where he is now, this was about 20 years ago, he will be a big boy now). From the first day I carried him, I didn’t want to let him go…so every time I had free time, and his mum hadn’t brought him to me, I would walk two floors up, knock on his family’s door and ask them if they wanted me to take the child off them for a while. I was always happy when they said yes. After him other mums started dropping their kids with me.
Back then my sisters and I used to take turns to cook every day of the week. So whenever it was my turn to cook and I was babysitting and they insisted I go cook, I’d tell my sisters to either hold the baby for me so I could go cook or they go cook. They always chose the latter. Lol.
Then my siblings started having children and I started to feel more joy. These were no longer neighbours’ or friends’ children, these were my nephews and nieces. My family! And carrying them brought me even more joy. Like for example, whenever I see my sister Laura’s son, Ryan, I shriek with happiness. He’s the love of my life…lol. If I was planning to go out and I heard my beautiful nephews and niece were coming over to the house, most times, I change plans and just stay home with them. I’m a homebody, I like to stay home (that’s why I bought a big house…lol).
So now imagine that in a few months, I will look down at a baby, and it won’t be a neighbor’s child, a friend’s child, a sister’s child, but my own child, my own flesh and blood, carried in my womb. My own son. It’s surreal. I can’t get over it.
You guys think DJ Khaled is obsessed with his son, Asahd? Wait until this one gets here. He’s not even here yet and I already ordered a Bentley Mulsanne for us. I swear! Lol. Like, I can’t keep calm. Oh and please, nannies, stay away from me. I’ve got this covered! Thank you. Lol.
Sometimes when I’m lying down and I feel him moving around inside me (he’s so hyper already, constantly moving around…lol), I just get up and cradle my tummy and smile. Lol. I can’t wait for these months to go by so I can meet him. My own son!
Dear son, of every dream I have had, every achievement, every milestone, out of all my accomplishments and titles, all the money and worldly possession I have, nothing compares to you. You are my greatest blessing, my gift from heaven, my greatest dream realized. I love you more than life itself and I can’t wait to meet you and give you so many kisses. And of course, spoil you! You will hear ‘I love you’ loud and clear so many times, you will beg me to stop. I can’t wait to hold you in my arms. .
I know I’m going to be the best mum ever! I was born for this and I am finally ready! And now I want to do more, achieve more, so lil man will be proud of his mama.
Considering how much I love children, sometimes I wonder why I didn’t have them earlier. But like my dad said, miracles like this finally happen when God is ready to share you.
Anyway, as you all know, I’ve always shared every milestone, every good thing that’s happened to me over the years with you guys and I definitely wanted to also share this joy with you. I’ve been wanting to scream about this since I found out many months ago but my family and friends have been telling me to ‘calm down Linda, calm down’…lol. I’m now way into my second trimester, so I guess it’s okay to share my joy.
May God grant you what you desire the most and may all your dreams come true.
Oh, by the way, I’ll be having a baby shower in a few weeks and I will definitely love for some of you amazing, loyal female readers to come celebrate with me. Will communicate when the time comes.
Famous blogger, Linda Ikeji who is currently engaged, broke the news of her pregnancy today and social media went agog.
Penning down a post to confirm the report, Linda Ikeji said the year started with her finding out that she is pregnant.
According to her, after she missed her period and did a home pregnancy test, she was driven for another lab test by a friend to confirm the pregnancy.
She further added that even though everyone thinks DJ Khaled is obsessed with his son, Asahd, they will however get to know the definition of the word when hers arrive. Linda Ikeji also said that she has already ordered a Bentley Mulsanne, as she expects her baby.
Nigerians have been reacting to the news so far and while there are some good comments, there are other reactions which reveal that getting pregnant out of wedlock isn’t what the celebrity blogger had been preaching to young girls.
Linda Ikeji during her Infamous beef with Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, denied Wizkid’s accusations of her sleeping with his Directors by saying she live a Calibate life…
Well, Nigerians got no chill and here are some reactions on micro-blogging site, twitter ;
Linda Ikeji getting pregnant after telling y’all to remain celibate is like a girl that tweets “Men are trash” while getting dicked.
One thing I have learnt from this Linda Ikeji getting pregnant story is that before you start pushing the celibate and men are scum movement…
Make sure you have a good dick to come home to..if not you will just play yourself at both ends…
— follow back please… (@kingboluwatife) May 20, 2018
Hopefully Linda Ikeji did not get pregnant through sex, cos she was preaching celibacy na ???
Linda Ikeji is like Virgin Mary. She told ladies to be Celibate but she then got pregnant. It’s not a man that got her pregnant, it’s the angel of the Lord.
Linda Ikeji was pregnant we didn’t know until now, what if she’s already married and we don’t know until later.
Thumbs up for knowing how to keep your private life away from the media until you’re ready to.
Big Congratulations. This is great news. ? pic.twitter.com/gyDfgzS1mW
Nigerian Comedian Bovi has reacted after Davido made history by performing in a sold out concert in a ‘not so popular’ South American Country.
One of Africa’s biggest music pop star and DMW‘s boss Davido made a history yesterday, as he sold out 10,000 capacity of a small region in the South American that most of us will never visit in our life.
The ” Fia ” singer sell out 10,000 capacity auditorium in Suriname, which is not located in Africa, or Europe, or the USA, but Paramaribo, Suriname in the South America continent. This is an evidence that Nigeria music has gone global!
Suriname is a small country on the northeastern coast of South America. It’s defined by vast swaths of tropical rainforest, Dutch colonial architecture, and a melting-pot culture. On its Atlantic coast is the capital, Paramaribo, where palm gardens grow near Fort Zeelandia, a 17th-century trading post. Paramaribo is also home to Saint Peter and Paul Basilica, a towering wood cathedral consecrated in 1885.
Bovi shared a photo of the superstar and wrote;
This Gee just sold 10,000 tickets in a country i had never heard of until this moment.
Suriname!! In South America of all places. Audience was singing word for word. Remaining heaven and hell for davido to perform!
The actress gave birth out of wedlock and became topical because according to critics, it is not Ghanaian to make babies out of wedlock.
The Delectable actress has indicated in a chat with Swag of Africa news, that she wishes she could have another baby but she is waiting for sometime in order to produce her second baby.
She indicated that while pregnant, her life came to a standstill because she could not do anything; something that affected her adversely.
She was however, grateful that her daughter has grown in to a “big girl”.
During the fall of 2017, rumor emerged that her Baby Daddy was already married.
According to a Ghanaian site, Ghana Celebrities reported on November 1, 2017, that Yvonne Nelson’s invisible baby father is allegedly someone’s husband.
It was revealed that there was a published alleged screen shot conversation of a Nigerian woman who claims to be his wife on the site. According to the site, his wife’s name is Keela Harrison.
Controversial media personality, Kemi Olunloyo has released an official statement to her fans on social media, revealing that she has suffered a mental breakdown.
The self-acclaimed investigative journalist and social media personality, Kemi Olunloyo, who is the controversial daughter of former governor of Oyo State, Victor Omololu Olunloyo, took to her ever active Twitter page to announce to her fans that she has suffered a mental breakdown.
Sharing a link on her twitter page, she wrote;
“UPDATE: I have just suffered a mental breakdown. Please take time to READ this. My admin will take over Instagram @HNNAFRICA. Thank you to my fans for all your prayers and thank you @adeyanjudeji. May God bless everyone–KOO.”
Here’s the statement in full:
“I just received some shocking sad news about my old criminal defamation case and detention in Port Harcourt prison. It is so sad that I just had a complete nervous breakdown. All I need now is your prayers for my recovery which is ongoing . I have silently been battling Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for over a year now since my initial release June 5th 2017 .
My book has been shelved right now as its been hard to focus. PLS subscribe to my YouTube channel where I will be doing occasional broadcasts about my progress from my recovery bed. My medical leave has now been extended indefinitely. They have still not released my passport and I need to activate my SSI benefits so I can be hospitalized in America with my accumulated disability benefits. I have not blogged for a year.
I lost my websites and domain and a total loss of $5M in wages, revenues, adverts, assignments, opportunities and 18 years of archives since 2000 because I was fairly detained 3 times in prison for 6months for doing my job. Now a confession does not change all that. My reputation was tarnished. Wikipedia has removed HNNAFRICA from my profile and even my profession as a pharmacist. I am a veteran US trained pharmacist of 30 years. They will be notified. I do not want to be recognized as a journalist who was arrested for defamation, not convicted or sentenced but charges were dropped when I shouldn’t have been arrested in the first place.
Yes I am sad, bitter and helpless. PLS follow me @hnnafrica on all social platforms to see my updates if there is any. YouTube is @hnnafricatv. All I need is your prayers right now. I am seriously mentally damaged. My publicist will launch a fundraiser next week to help me leave the country and get the appropriate care I deserve. They are holding me back in a mental prison by still holding my passport which was a bail condition. The federal judge rescheduled the hearing to June 5th 2018 from April.
Thank you to all of you. I heard Bishop Michael Curry yesterday at the #royalwedding. I have known of Curry for so long when living in America. He is a champion of civil rights and first black preacher in the US Episcopalian church. He talked about LOVE. I started my American journey in the city of brotherly love Philadelphia where this LOVE statue sits. I used to look at it from my downtown apartment when I was at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1983.
If we had love in our lives, we would not have so much hate in Nigeria with killings and corruption. My children struggle daily with the American economy, gun violence and racism. They are ready to receive me. I have to leave everything behind now. PLS help me pray to help me get out of Nigeria and this mental torture. The people that did this to me have largely forgotten me. GOD HAS NOT.”
Don Jazzy has reacted to the news of Popular Blogger, Linda Ikeji’s pregnancy.. and the music producer and boss of Mavins Records has confirmed that he isn’t responsible for the pregnancy.
Taking to his Twitter page, the 35-year-old music veteran simply wrote, “It wasn’t me”.
A Hilarious reaction from Twitter user, @Heyweezey: “So you were crushing from afar while another guy dey score???”
The Blogger celebrated her pregnancy news by writing:
I, Linda Ikeji, is going to be a mum.

There’s no doubt that Nigerian entertainer, Adekunle Gold has made a name for himself by making urban high life music in an industry where pop music is prominent.
The singer recently had a chat with Sunday Scoop where he revealed that it wasn’t a very easy decision for him to take.
During his interview with Sunday Scoop, Adekunle Gold is quoted as saying,
“I feel very happy that alternative music is getting better acceptance in the industry. Music is very wide and there is no reason to limit ourselves to just a part of it. Initially, I was worried and scared because my music is different. I wasn’t really sure if I would be able to connect to the audience. I had some fears but I decided to stay true to myself.
It is very important to believe in yourself and to have confidence in your abilities. There were many times that I was turned down and I felt like giving up. So, it hasn’t been an easy task. I am thankful for all that I have been able to achieve in the industry so far. I believe that if you are consistent, it would ultimately pay off.”
On if he still does graphics design, Gold said, “I still do that but just for myself alone. There is no time for me to engage in it on a larger scale.”
Recall that during the Big Brother Naija show, finalist, Alex experienced what could pass as a wardrobe malfunction but lots of viewers believe she intentionally put her bosoms on display to attract more fans, perhaps from the male folks.
However, the Enugu State indigene has in a recent interview, debunked the claims and explained that it was an honest mistake just like some people thought.
Read excerpts from her interview below,
Background
My original name is Asogwa Amuche Sandra. However, I didn’t like the name, Sandra, so I changed it to Alexandra though I prefer Alex because it is an uncommon name for a girl. I am from Nsukka in Enugu State. I am the first of my parents’ three children.
One of the childhood memories I cherish was when I celebrated my birthday at a place called Mr Fans in Lagos. It was really nice and I think I still have some pictures. I also remember my experience during the Ikeja Cantonment bomb blasts in 2001. It was a very terrible experience for me because we had a family outing that day. Till this day, I still have goose pimples whenever I think about that incident. My childhood ambition was to become a celebrity.
Education
For my elementary education, I attended Shalom Nursery and Primary School, GRA, Enugu, and Aunty Lizzy International Nursery and Primary School, Abule Egba, Lagos. I went to Daughters of Divine Love Juniorate, Enugu, and Easy Flow College, Lagos, for my junior secondary and senior secondary education.
Entertainment
I am a model, writer, actress, dancer and I am also involved in fashion. People keep attacking the fact that I don’t want to be like every other person. I can only be myself because every other person is taken. I don’t think anyone should want to be like me, so why I should want to be like any other person? The world is big enough for everyone and there should be something unique about everybody. By God’s grace, everyone should watch out for me in a movie soon.
BBN
When I told my parents that I was going to partake in Big Brother Naija, they were surprised but they supported me. I am sure if I had told my dad earlier, he would have expressed concern about my education. My time in the house was lovely. I treated people the same way they treated me. Everyone saw my relationship with Tobi and we are still very close; I can tell him anything that bothers me. We are very good friends. If it leads to a romantic relationship in future, then our foundation would have been strong.
Before I went to the house, I was popular because in school, we always had a Miss Popular Award Programme. However, BBN has made me more popular. There was a time I had to run away from greeting people because I almost missed my flight.
Lessons
We can all be whatever we want to be, irrespective of who you think you are. With prayers to God, you can make it to anywhere. You can go through anything with the right people around you. I remember there was a time I almost gave up in the house but I had positive people around me.
Challenges
My challenge lies in not knowing the right way to go about what I want to do. Everyone is trying to change me; though I don’t see it as a challenge. I just feel that people should not judge me for not living my life the way they chose to live theirs. It is also not fair for people to say that I am not a lady because I dress in a certain way.
Background
I really don’t have much to say about that but I think it is a very wrong for anyone to say that I am from a poor background. I won’t describe my family as poor because I haven’t suffered all my life. At some point, we had financial issues but that was in the past. I wasn’t supposed to say it in the house but that is okay. Everyone is entitled to their opinions about my background because a person’s background doesn’t determine where he or she is going to end up. Coming from a poor background and being where I am today is something I should be proud of. Also, the issue of my father’s illness is personal. I didn’t win the money but right now, I am going to work hard to ensure he gets proper treatment.
Abortion
That is something I haven’t even discussed. I think that issue was grossly misinterpreted and it is something I don’t even want to explain right now. I want everyone to believe whatever they want to believe. I was close to Princess’ brother but there was never a story like that about him.
Nudity
Showing my breast while I was in the house was an honest mistake. It was unintentional and it was not done because I wanted to have more fans
Interests
I love to talk and make people happy. I also enjoy dancing.
Relationship
I am single. I was single before going to the house and I am still single. I like a man who can understand me. Honestly, I would say ‘no’ to any man I am taller than. Generally, I like good people that understand me and are good to me.
Relaxation
Whenever I want to relax, I would dance. It is something I love so much and I can do that the whole day.
Fashion
I love to wear anything stylish and I can do without fashion accessories. I love to dress nicely and I am not a party to nudity. A lot of people see me as a tomboy but I am not. I just feel that I can rock any style.

Following the reports of a doctored video of the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim K Idris, in a new post shared on her IG page, Zonal PPRO Dolapo Badmus, has said anyone who uses a doctored video to judge the IGP wrongly, is delusional.
She wrote on her page,
“My allegiance is to Federal Republic of Nigeria and my loyalty to the Inspector General of Police!!! ???????????? I maintain it, if a video doctored by some set of criminals probably under investigation is the only reason you have, to say that a gallant and hardworking IGP is not brilliant then you are delusional!
