Seun Kuti Mocks AY Comedian After His House Caught Fire, Claims Ancestral Vengeance On His Behalf (VIDEO)

Renowned saxophonist Seun Kuti has intensified his mockery of popular comedian Ayo Makun, also known as AY, following a recent incident where AY’s house and belongings were engulfed by fire.

The incident occurred while AY and his family were away from home.

Seun Kuti wasted no time in ridiculing AY immediately after the fire, and he continues to do so weeks later.

In a newly released video, the outspoken musician informed his followers that he had gone live during the unfortunate incident to celebrate what he believed to be ancestral payback on his behalf.

Kuti alleged that AY had depicted his daughter as a dog in a disrespectful manner, and further accused the comedian of exploiting his personal struggles for comedic purposes.

Seun Kuti declared that it was now time for payback, revealing his intention to jest about AY’s misfortunes.

Furthermore, Seun Kuti took aim at AY’s comedic prowess, asserting that he lacks humor and that his performances fall flat.

In a shocking accusation, Kuti also labeled AY an abusive husband, claiming that no female member of AY’s household, not even his own daughters, respect him due to alleged instances of domestic violence against their mother.

This recent video from Seun Kuti follows his previous call-out of AY while mocking aphrodisiac merchant Jaruma, who is reportedly receiving treatment for substance abuse.

The ongoing feud between Seun Kuti and AY has captivated public attention, leaving many curious about the motivations behind their contentious relationship.

They also demanded a public apology on Davido’s social media pages and in two national newspapers for four consecutive days due to his failure to appear and perform at the 19th edition of the “Warri Again” event, despite having received payment.

According to the statement of claim, the company paid Davido the sum of US$94,500.00 (equivalent to N70 million at the time) on April 6, 2023, which he acknowledged.

“Spending your money without your husband’s knowledge is the same as cheating” – Nigerian man

A Nigerian man identified as Eke Ako, has stirred reactions online following his theories about finances and separate expenditure in marriage.

He claimed that a woman spending her own money without telling her husband equates to financial adultery, which is equivalent to having an extramarital affair.

Ako made this statement on his Facebook page in condemnation of spouses who spend their own money without their husbands’ knowledge or consent.

The businessman, who asserted that a woman’s assets belong to her husband, also voiced his distaste of Africans, who model their financial management after that of Western couples.

Ako wrote;

“FINANCIAL INFIDELITY VS S&XUAL INFIDELITY.

Financial infidelity carries the same weight as sxxual infidelity. Your funds also belong to your husband. When you spend outside your family (your husband, children & you) without his knowledge and agreement, it is the same as sxual infidelity

My dear sisters who copy western marriages ignore this part. Igbo marriage remains the best. Working out differences in a marriage is not endurance

Marriage requires toughness, tolerance and endurance. You must decide to lose sometimes. You must also know your place.

Also avoid the temptation of changing a natural order because you want to copy what you don’t really understand.”

“Wetin God no send una, na hin una like to dey do” – Simi lambasts female preacher

Popular Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has taken to social media to lambast a minister for her controversial teachings.

The female preacher was under fire after her trending video surfaced online where she was telling single ladies how to find a husband.

According to the preacher, rocking one’s natural hair was not a surefire way to get a husband, as women needed to present themselves in a pleasant manner with wigs.

Watch her speak below.

This did not sit well with Simi, who immediately quoted the video while sharing her thoughts on the preaching.

According to Simi, it was wrong of the preacher to promote such self-hatred against women.

In her words,

“Even when you hide self hate inside ‘good advice’, it’s still self hate. This is why 90% of skincare products in countries full of beautiful dark skin girls/women are ‘whitening creams’

And girls are told that the hair that grows out of their hair is not special enough. It’s not that you’re not good enough, it’s that they said you’re not good enough. She’s on the pulpit too. A role model. Lol. Wetin God no send una, na hin una like to dey do.”

“Why it’s not wrong for celebrities to repeat clothes” – Designer, Veekee James

Popular Nigerian fashion designer, Veekee James has stated that there is nothing wrong with a celebrity wearing a dress they had previously won to an event.

Speaking in a recent interview, the young businesswoman stated that while it is entirely a personal choice for each public figure, she would not personally wear the same clothing twice.

Veekee explained that if she dresses for an event, she won’t wear the same thing to another occasion because as a fashion stylist, she must constantly show off her creations, and social events are the ideal setting for that.

She stated this in response to a query on the presumption that celebrities shouldn’t wear the same clothing again while they are out in public.

Veekee said;

“I feel it is a personal decision for the celebrity to make. I don’t think it is wrong for someone who is popular to wear an outfit twice. I think it is just a thing with them. I don’t know if I fall into this category, because I will not wear an outfit I have worn to an event to another event. That is because I am a fashion designer.

Every time, I get to showcase another design. There are celebrities I know who wear a particular design different times, but they don’t get to photograph it another time. This is the knowledge that the public has. Since they only see this picture once on a celeb’s social media page, they feel that is how it is. What is the point of photographing the outfit one has worn to an event again when one has already photographed it at a previous event?”

Vee, who has styled actresses like Osas Ighodaro and Funke Akindele, also discussed how she was able to establish a rapport with them.

“I have worked with so many celebrities. For the celebrities, it is more like a fashion designer-to-customer relationship. I think I just have a way of communicating with them. If a person respects me, I respect that person as well.

We just have that cordial relationship. Osas Ighodaro and a few others are close to me and they have been a blessing to my brand, and I have been (a blessing) to theirs too. The person I enjoy working with most will be Osas, because she supports me 100 per cent,” she said.

Unable to bear the pain any longer, she offered her sister’s land document as collateral to convince the hospital to proceed with the operation. Tragically, the baby did not survive, presumably due to the delay.

After waking up from the procedure, she confronted her husband, who revealed that he sent the money to his mother and sister as a precaution incase something happened to her.
